461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: your perception about gambling on: February 29, 2024, 09:25:59 PM
(...)however, my question here now is : is gambling restricted to some certain kind of individuals or class?  or is there any stratification when it comes to playing gambling ?please your opinions here here will actually quench my curiosity.
I'm also a gambler, and I've never had to face judgment from anyone about my best friend's behavior. Not everyone gambles and brings negativity to themselves and their families. Prejudices from outsiders can be true/false and don't worry too much because we ourselves are the ones who decide, not based on their judgment.

Anyway, let's know about its true nature? For me, I simplify it as a form of entertainment in life, so don't get attached to things unrelated to it because I won't choose that. But I also sympathize with those who are influenced by gambling, all nuances are part of it all, and always remember to be responsible when gambling.
462  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the future of the cryptocurrency market? on: February 29, 2024, 09:15:58 PM
(...), will eventually be dismantled by predators.

OP, Is that true or simply your personal opinion?

Because many things I see in society operate and end naturally, in the future there will be divisions of opinion, be it for or against this field. Partly because this field is linked to the financial system and receives a lot of attention, I would choose a positive future of development for the possibility of applying life support.

And I also understand that the development journey of cryptocurrency is still quite early, we need to do a lot of things before thinking about fear of negative things.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profit taking strategies? on: February 29, 2024, 09:03:56 PM
What do you guys think? Does that sound like a reasonable strategy? Is there anything else I need to consider?

I support the point you stated, do everything in accordance with what you know and trust yourself because you actually have the position and opportunity to enjoy the results. We all have faith in bitcoin's price increase and make speculations about its future target, but the truth is that it is uncertain and is only the basis for initial belief. Simplify things with patience with the plan and you will also feel satisfied, and grateful for the journey.

Anyway, everyone has different investment strategies, so don't try to copy ideas or impose strategies from others. Wishing you and your family a wonderful journey with bitcoin.
464  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You don't like the world you live ? Then change it on: February 29, 2024, 08:57:03 PM
I don't know what OP's intention is when conveying your personal opinion to the person who comes in contact with it, but perhaps I sympathize with your feelings of seeing life through what you know.

Yep, it's common but not all are like that. It is like a lesson and forces us to complete it to continue learning the next lessons. Life has countless different nuances, and it appears simply like that, whether we feel it or are influenced by it is also a part of life.

There are truths that are hard to accept, so be comfortable/reveal/love/.... accept it all, but most importantly, experience it and realize what you want from it such experiences.

I also have many lessons, but they are nothing because I know that I exist just like a speck of dust in the desert, so instead of being sad/excited about life, I realize the truth balance everything out.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 05:28:36 PM
So, I have a simple question 🙋.
How do you feel being balls deep in altcoin investment, when bitcoin alone is rising?
Do you feel like selling your alts and fomoing into bitcoin, or do you just hold, patiently waiting, believing that alt time to rise will come?
Diversifying assets and being flexible in investing with crypto requires a specific plan. I am not a shortterm or momentary player, so I really understand the importance of patience in investing.

I have had a win/lose journey many times with crypto so I actually feel quite comfortable with the market's volatility, but also admit that at this time there is a bit of excitement with the price increase.

With altcoins not all, we also see some increasing and some not showing much, but that is the investment environment and the plan needs to be specific in advance to understand that everything will reach the target. It's just sooner or later.
466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Imprisonment on LGBTQ on victim your thought on: February 29, 2024, 05:19:49 PM
I think this is a complicated situation. Yep, many African countries have anti LGBTQ laws and social attitudes. The severity and how the law is enforced varies from country to country. Because I remember hearing about "Somalia having the death penalty for samesex relations". The passage of a bill by an African country's parliament to punish LGBTQ victims is an example of the contradiction in approaches to this issue.

The government has a responsibility to protect everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. I also believe that the international community can play an important role in promoting LGBTQ rights in Africa. But certainly, regardless of action there should be respect for different views and an open discussion. And it's important that we can create a world where everyone is treated equally.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: February 29, 2024, 05:09:08 PM
I have read several posts encouraging people to hold their bitcoin for the greater good of bitcoin and probably more reward in the future. I have also been able to buy some for myself and also holding. But there is this concern that usually pop up in my head anytime I am meditating and that is what will happen if everyone is holding their bitcoin and no one is willing to sell. This can possibly happen in the future when mining reward becomes too small. I know some people will say that miners will continue to mine and sell to sustain their business but when there is reduced selling, will mining still be a profitable business?

If this question appear dumb, please pardon me, I just need clarifications.

It's like when you run a business and always want to sell your products at a high price, and that happens when someone buys your product.

Going back to the problem with bitcoin, the way it works is similar, we all want a minimal profit through investing in it. So whether it is a good idea, or a drag and drop, it is also a way to attract, but it shows that with the life cycle of each individual or organization regarding investment issues, the development journey of bitcoin There are always many opportunities. So we should really encourage everyone to learn and if possible, participate in it, I think we are all capable and aware enough to know how our own behavior will affect our lives. So always take responsibility for it, like what I've been exposed to so far about bitcoin, I'm really grateful for the opportunity that exists.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: China are back to mining Bitcoin. on: February 29, 2024, 04:57:27 PM
I've also heard a lot about how the Chinese government has started testing its own CBDC, the digital Yuan. And even some provinces in China have started allowing Bitcoin mining companies to operate again. And we also need to understand that adaptation is not imposed on behavior, whether supporting/opposing it is their action. Something that I'm quite excited about is that we will see a lot of positivity whenever the excitement of this sector returns.

According to the information I heard, the Chinese government does not officially encourage people to mine Bitcoin. There are some provinces that have started allowing Bitcoin mining companies to operate again. And we all know the upcoming Bitcoin halving event could have a positive impact on Bitcoin miners' revenue. The Chinese government may be reconsidering its stance on Bitcoin mining as Bitcoin mining may bring some benefits to the Chinese economy.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 04:47:03 PM
I don't bother too much between chips Smiley Like distinguishing between fiat, crypto, gold, diamond, car,... in gambling is not necessary for me.

I remember using TRX for gambling in the past, because I didn't consider it an investment in the first place, but there's definitely a connection if we keep trying to complicate it. And all that money is always the default to be ready to lose and not expect too much, perhaps part of the way I always default to gambling is fun. But with my current behavior, I don't use crypto to gamble. I still think I should keep things light and have fun while gambling.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on the latest news about TON on: February 29, 2024, 03:58:56 PM
I just heard about it, and I'm actually pretty excited that we have another ad revenue sharing platform. With this action, I understand that in the near future there will be another wave of users landing on platforms similar to the one X is operating on.

Although I do not feel too strongly affected by clause (1), I must express that it does not serve everyone, but those who use it should accept the original clause. And this problem is not too big because before that I remember when Facebook also had many nationalities restricted, but it's okay because it's the same old story of users learning to accept everything.

I heard further information about TON that will limit Tele TON ratio to 10% of the supply, and they will sell the excess to long term investors with a 1 - 4 year vesting plan, so on the ecosystem stability will be guaranteed.

Yep, this is probably news that will bring great happiness to those who are building and developing communities.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: Beginner questions on: February 29, 2024, 03:46:11 PM
If you buy Bitcoin on eToro, you actually own Bitcoin, not a futures contract. Therefore, a decrease in Bitcoin price will directly affect the value of your investment. And the price drop only affects the current value of the investment, you can still hold Bitcoin and wait for the price to increase again in the future.

You also need to learn more about the volatility and opportunities/risks in each investment market to have a more honest view when comparing between them. One thing I feel the OP needs to consider is the issue of stocks having an intrinsic value based on the company's business, Bitcoin has no intrinsic value. And remember that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile, only invest what you can afford to lose.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Rally Ahead: Tom Lee's Visionary Prediction Foresees $150,000 on: February 29, 2024, 03:31:45 PM

Speculating on the price of bitcoin in that range is very feasible. I also have some goals that I am building so as not to miss opportunities in the market and especially with bitcoin.

I also just reviewed the "Bitcoin Rainbow Chart" although it is just speculation and is also outdated but still very positive for the target of $150000. At this time, doubts and excitement are quite tense as investors factions are expressing their own views. But in the end, opportunities/risks always exist at any time in this field, investing with bitcoin also has many topics to discuss and it mainly depends on what we are doing.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pangolin on: February 29, 2024, 03:21:38 PM
OP, it sounds like you're happy with your holding and in a good position with it, as you talk about you're getting x20 profit if you bought since Oct 2023.

For me, to have a good buying position, make sure to cover the principal and try to use the remaining profits to accompany the project that you have faith in. And we're just starting with the price increase season, so don't be too confused and make choices you'll regret later, but if you've made a decision, don't worry too much about what the future will be like, just stick to it.

Looking back at the project, I see that the ATH level is quite large compared to the current price, but perhaps this is a problem for altcoins when going through the down season, but some expectations can be placed on the capitalization value reaching this level ATH is back. And speculating raise the target level to $1 - $5, but that is not advice here, just speculation according to the chart and current context, because I also do not pay attention to this project.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: February 29, 2024, 03:08:29 PM
we will witness many new projects being launched and accompanied by marketing campaigns. Providing fees for the participating community is common in the field. This. And so we have witnessed many airdrop events bringing large sums of money to participants, without going too far in the past. Just pay attention to the recent period when there were many large/small projects that gave out rewards.

With the airdrop, I think it's a pretty simple job and brings more daydreaming than seriousness, but at this stage when this job is effective, the attention to it is discussed a lot.

I have also participated and am still participating in a number of projects expecting to receive an airdrop, but I have to admit that in reality, participating in thousands of different projects has a much greater chance of receiving an airdrop, as you are exposed to many opportunities. But be comfortable and don't put too much pressure on these things and consider it a speculation, because there are a lot of scams that exist in this space and as with any field, understanding is needed for certain of it.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 25, 2024, 10:25:56 AM
It appears that after having Larry Fink as the new mayor of bitcoin we might have a president of America that will be supporting bitcoin if Trump gets the victory on November hehehe. This is certainly shocking and very unexpected. I did not know bitcoin and the cryptospace would bring him much votes because why is he doing this if this is not a trick for bitcoiners to vote him?

I don't think this is a tactic to help Trump get more clearance votes expressing his positive views in favor of bitcoin. Remember that those in power will do what they feel is in the best interest of the country first, and if things do not get a positive economic balance then it will be a good idea to turn your back on things. It's not surprising that he declared it

But it's really nice that he is expressing a positive opinion on bitcoin, I remember he also expressed before that bitcoin is really harmful to the US economy Smiley when he was still in office President, maybe that information is wrong but I don't pay too much attention. Because really, with bitcoin, it exists without too much influence on someone's judgment, support/opposition, bitcoin will still exist and develop.
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 25, 2024, 10:19:14 AM
Yep, trading strategy plays a key role in accessing the market effectively. It provides structure and framework for making informed trading decisions. Although I am not a regular or professional trader, I have had some experiences and learned lessons such as building discipline as well as adding many skills in terms of knowledge in the field of trading. I find that the crypto space is highly volatile and easily manipulated from news, so it's like a double edged sword between opportunity/risk, always be ready for any situation that may arise regardless of the outcome bad.

I also feel that capital management when trading is always very important, like it is easy to lose emotions when losing, making risky choices and then if there is no more capital to continue, it is a failed result.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of money you've ever bet in a single game? on: February 25, 2024, 10:13:06 AM
I remember this has been discussed before, but this issue has always really gotten a lot of people's attention.
Answering question from OP,

1. I don't remember the exact number but it was about $1000 for the bet at that time.
2. I won, and recovered a profit of nearly $1500.
3. It was a sports bet, I was really ready to lose that money, but I remember the feeling at that time that winning was more in my mind than the thought of losing money.

Yep, being ready for every situation is really important. With gambling, nothing is really certain, as the amount of money played can be lost, which brings a comfortable mood, and also helps us stay alert to make decisions.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS on: February 25, 2024, 09:27:32 AM
Are you aware of development challenges in society and spend time researching to find ways to help? Your interest in solving the problem of poverty and your desire to make a difference is very appreciable. Solving the problem of poverty is always a great challenge, with everyone's attention, efforts and cooperation, we can create a just world for everyone. But really, actions like leaving the road to the sea will be useless if there is no way to act, like some of the ways that I see many people showing help through participating in volunteer activities, donate what we can support, and mobilize everyone to do the same.
480  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your plan in 2024? on: February 25, 2024, 08:58:39 AM
(...)So what's your plan for this 2024?

I also have a lot of plans to develop myself more, about going back to school in some fields that I really find suitable for my life. I want to learn pottery making, painting,... maybe it's just a personal hobby, but I think I will need to complete them in the near future. There are actually many things that I look back on in my own journey. It's like a movie that needs to go through many things to perfect. And it's true that if our lives become too crowded, we will lose our reflexes to unforeseen situations, plans are made for us to live with the present and the future we have chosen. I also wish everyone to choose a plan and achieve their desired goals.
