There is no point trying to tip someone in a currency they don't accept!

I can't go to New York and tip in Pescos!!

Agreed re: market cap.. following on from that will be the fact that 1 coin actually has a value above $0.07 - parity with the dollar would be a great mid-term goal for this coin.
Then you would see wider adoption, driving prices up and spurring more adoption. Then you might see tipping.

It's all very nice and all the coins are screaming the same thing...LET'S FIND A WAY HOW PEOPLE CAN PAY WITH OUR COIN.

The cryptocoins are in the baby stages. Crypto coins are no money. They are a verhicle like gold, silver and so on. It is worth money, but you can't buy bread with it at the bakery. So....you need to make it interesting for people to make money with it. That will create value to your coin, just like stocks.

You want a local bakery to accept your coin...well sorry to say, but you must think bigger. You want your coin to be accepted as a prepaid creditcard? Where? in the USA...you must think bigger.

That is the reason why all these coins can't get it done....crypto coins are no money....it's more like stocks

..First we take Manhattan..then we take Berlin!

No, but seriously, that is a stated goal for this coin, to become merchant accepted. I think with someone like Brian behind this thing, there might be a chance of that happening. It can't just go from 0-100% overnight though, it will take time (a lot) and patience (also a lot) to see this thing moving and a shift in adoption rates.

"At the moment a lot of people are seeing it as we investors and the NSF are only feeding BTC to the miners."

I can understand this feeling too.. i've also invested some (last week) because i believe this coin has more chance of being a hit than the others out there. But i know this feeling.
That is why i mentioned patience above. (Even though i myself know how hard it can be to remain patient)

Leveraged long Finex holders, how does it feel to pay 1% interest per day?

Fonz when are we going to double digits? I'm tired of checking the price, next couple weeks hopefully?

Poll at top of page says he's wrong. Hivemind and all that...

So I struggled through the 90 pages of this thread because of Dave Seaman mentioning the coin and I still don`t get why people talk about the coin being "undervalued".
On what base? The only thing I can come up is the hope that the Dev will do some tricks to boost the coins popularity.
I`m no techie, just an investor/speculator looking for coins that will survive the great shitcoin washout.
Compared to e.g. VTC or DRK, this coin basically only has the good will of Brian Kelly behind it, right?

Ok, also not listed there but possibly covered by Dev will do some tricks to boost the coins popularity is the whole PoS thing that we are waiting to hear about.

There is also the reputation of a well known financial investor/speculator/trader (whatever!) behind it, staking his professional reputation on the line. That is huge.
Also huge is the 'ins' that this guy has/can get.. that other alt coins can't,
Throw in the sponsorship idea, the fact that he is working hard on it and the devs are DigiByte.
The stated mission of this coin is merchant acceptance and a safe crypto-goto currency for wall st.

So, all in all a very interesting coin. If you wanna see all the above as just a load of good will, then fine, whatever.
It won't just happen overnight. Although saying that... if/when PoS gets introduced then expect it to up by at least x5 overnight.
I think given a bit of time, this coin could really become one of a handful of surviving coins 2-3 years from now.

Truly interesting coin.
But why I haven't heard from that coin before this announcement?
So sad I missed again the first foot-steps of a promising coin.

Which announcement? The first one? Or a new development? link?

Anyway.. it's still early days for this, and you haven't missed anything yet.. the price is very cheap / undervalued at the moment.
It could sky rocket x10 or more pretty quickly and has a very good chance of doing so too, IMO.

If it tests 1000 it wont stop there.. it will push on and re-test the ATH.. when it smashes through that, watch out.

There is not a lot of volume (on mintpal at least) so it is quiet.

I believe long term in this coin and also believe we are hugging the bottom.
I think long term it will only appreciate in value, especially if PoS is introduced. I'd just hold if i were you and wait.
I'm sure it will go back up as it seems undervalued to me at the moment.

I bet in everyone's mind in this thread, this glorious 35% rally is some type evidence that all the $1,000,000+ projections are coming to fruition, whereas there might have been some doubt about them earlier. Pretty soon there will be new charts pinpointing exactly when $1,000,000 will be reached, which will be even earlier than previously projected, possibly with even higher targets afterwards, and it's all because of this rally.

it looks likely for next week $1M!!!

 Grin

Hi folks.. I'm new to NAUT but i bought some yesterday after researching it. It really has all the looks of a very promising coin, with a future.

I even ordered the T-Shirt yesterday evening from the official site!!

Just asking.. is there a dedicated Nautilus forum..?

A question for SlipperySlope - I was just wondering where the graph a few posts above came from, and how i would generate my own.
I see this is an important indicator going forward.. and a useful tool during periods of exponential growth.. i.e to help determine selling/exit point.

Any of these? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArD8rjI3DD1WdFIzNDFMeEhVSzhwcEVXZDVzdVpGU2c#gid=7

Ah.. that's the one! Happy days! thanks..

Does anyone know what the status of Uni-Credit is, with regard to blocking transactions?
I am in Austria by the way.

I have a figure in mind of around €100k - has anyone had experience with this kind of transaction and this bank?

I had been thinking about just telling them there was a large figure to be transferred into my account sometime in x no. of days and to expect it, also that I am not anticipating any problems. But I don't want to even do this if it raises issues/questions. I was only going to tel them it was from the sale of some assets. But, like i said, i'm reluctant to even do this much, in case, well, you know.. banks!

Why wouldn't you start your own scamcoin? It's the ultimate 'get rich quick' if it succeeds for the short time needed.

Infinaty times zero is still zero.  Wink

Well, that is not quite true.

"infinity" is not a number as such. It's a class of equivalence (of all the bijectives sets alike).
To be allowed to use this, you must define what kind of infinity you are talking about,
for example you'd say "infinity" = "limit of the function f(x)=1/x with x->0"

And then, your "0" may well be a différent kind of "0" like "limit of the function g(x)=x with x->0"

That is, "0" * "infinity" in such case = 1 for whatever x.

You Sir, get 5 Gold Stars!!

Meanwhile.. i think there is a cup and handle forming.. Meaning a rise to  ~$540 ... then slight fall back to around $535 or so.. before going up to about $555-$560 by around 10 am EST.

If you've notice i have a lot of ~ and made liberal use of the word 'around' that's because i'm only speculating.
Let's see how it plays out though.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg6889281#msg6889281

ahthangyou

It is a nice pattern forming, I would have thought though you would see a drop of more than $5 to complete a real handle. If the pattern does complete I'd expect a drop closer to the $505 area personally.

You're right.. it should drop more, i expect around $10 dollars in this case.. but not so much as $35 drop.
I'm basing this of my observation of yesterdays pattern. Which of course doesn't mean today's will be the same.. this cup has deeper 'sides'.. so.
