481  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Capacitor repair on an Antminer S1 board? on: June 07, 2014, 09:28:42 PM
I didn't pack one well when I moved and broke two of those off one board. It's been running well for over two months now. I don't OC it and haven't seen any adverse effects from the two missing parts.

This page looks the same as a bitmain or spongebob thread. Where's the KnC?

I just don't trust anyone shilling for products or services anymore in these forums. I made that mistake once and I won't repeat. The rest of you can take your chances and I wish you the best.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 04, 2014, 07:17:33 AM
agree about KnC and their hopeful delusionals. it could be a 20Gh/s unicorn miner but the fact that KnC are shitmongrel cunts means that your continued support of them fucks us all - datorhall 2 wont be far away if indeed it isnt already filled with 20nm magic

disagree about referral links - its against forum rules and like spam in general, cheap & grotty

PG said they have 3. The picture was 1 of 3 datorhall that they have. Agree with referrals as well. No place for them here.

Every company thread needs a good shill to keep us entertained. We haven't had one for a while so I am glad that someone is finally spreading the troll bait.

Right now you can get 6 THps worth of SP10's or S2's in-stock for the same price as a neptune preorder that will likely not be delivered for at least a month judging from the recent update. So why are there still people who have not requested a refund?

the same reason some people dress up in girls clothes or noncey fedoras (or S.M. fans)

some people enjoy having their balls in a clamp and getting kicked in the same squashed balls.

we try and avoid them cos theyre filthy perverts but theyre everywhere.

waiting for the day they can infect us with their victim mentality that they 'pretend' to love.

Go visit their forums if you want to see some full on domination action.

Graphics for our Neptune housing is being finalized as well, and we've included a sneak preview from our Art Director Robert, at the top of this post.

wht the fuck is that?

Pretty case so that customers forget about the other stuff related to the miner.

They'll just shrinkwrap a cardboard box and put that sticker on it. Then for added protection they'll tie down the heatsinks with twist ties and include wooden sticks with marshmallows just because they're a customer first company.
488  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Kit Sales Open, official sales price $2260 per Kit on: May 31, 2014, 05:44:51 PM
Tell me does AntMiner S1 or AntMiner S2 comes with complete set ready to plug in the cord to power, connect and start mining.

Or separate supply must be purchased

S1 requires a separate power supply, but the S2 comes with a power supply.

BTW, one of the pictures is an absolute horror show with endless rows of Jupiter modules hashing.

As PsychoticBoy said, it's disgusting. It really is.

Not more than 5%? This datorhall is probably big enough to be 100%+ of what they shipped to customers.

All our earnings are disappearing because we are competing against this (I copied it to imgur so I could embed it):

Thanks knc - assholes Angry

Here - blast from the past - lest people forget what kind of MFs they are

Did KNC have anything to say about this?
I hadn't seen this pic, it's stunning.

There's loads of goodies in this 1700 thread forum. Avenger has a knack for finding this crazy (but true) stuff. I just reposted it to help put this back into perspective.

I forgot to mention, but I got my BTC refund for 3 Neptunes on the 20th May, just hours before the price started to rise. KNC couldn't have chosen a better time.
Original purchase price for 3 was around 30400USD and I got 66.5BTC back at 457USD exchange rate.
With the current exchange rate that is almost $8000 ahead.

I am so glad I requested a refund Smiley

I guess the only way you can "profit" off of a refund in BTC is if you paid less for the bitcoin at the time of purchase, right? Or had it sitting in a wallet mined it for free, then anything over the price they charged would be %100 profit. Shit, not a bad deal. A blessing in disguise. Now, everyone with that profit go BUY some bitcoin!

Well, 2 of the Neptunes were paid in cash with USD transfer and the 3rd one was paid in BTC (10.3BTC) mined with Jupiters when the price was near 1000USD.
So from my point of view I invested ~$20300 + 10.33BTC AND got back 66.5BTC.
I consider that a good investment overall.

Sounds like the refunds are going to bankrupt KNC!

their mining farm generates about $500,000 usd a day. They won't be going bankrupt anytime soon. They're just greedy bastards which is why they delay the refunds.

How much are those Oct and Nov jups going for now?
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 24, 2014, 03:23:11 PM
Difficulty has risen again. Super Jupiter does now 0.15238969 BTC per day. (3.17 TH/s)

In July +/- 0.065 BTC per day.

In August +/- 0.04366 per day.

I believe the only people making ROI on the equipment KfC sells is KfC.

you are certainly dreaming if you ever expect to get a piece of equipment from them. cloud at 3T is all you're going to get.

Big boys meaning vendors that treat customers like trash are suffering. Good. Karma kicking in early. However, companies that produce reliable goods and treat their customers like human beings are doing well. Hooray! Capitalism works!
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 19, 2014, 08:07:34 PM
Mining for manufacturer miners to ROI in 2015. promise, delay, delay some more, and just screw yet customers in the end. For us, unless we see some incredible advances on power consumption to hashing power then I just don't see an ROI. We're at the edge right now on that and pretty soon hobbyist mining for btc will no longer make any sense. I just don't see myself mining anymore at the end of the year unless something changes.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 19, 2014, 11:05:59 AM
Thanks, EB. That's sad to hear about Orama. I always felt that he was a decent guy, but got swindled like us by those tossers at kfc. Those guys really are lacking in decency and wallowing in greed. Karma's going to come back on them one day. I don't want to be anywhere around them when it hits.
