Last word on BITZ - see the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234442.100 - it's all explained.
Any posts related to BITZ will be deleted as this is not a BITZ thread. I have no issues discussing BITZ but someone will have to start a new thread.

Hi there,

Is the current wallet for Linux stable and will the new wallets version will include the Linux one as well?

Thx in advance.

I stands for Linux, no problems with Linux distributions.

There will be a Linux as well. There will be an update later on tonight or tomorrow re. the new wallets. There are a lot of issues that needs addressing but we are almost there.

Such a healthy endeavour, I will follow this

Developer, and where news of the last coin of the festival?
Or you were not there Mojo, but simply is the sponsor (at our expense)?

PR is necessary for any coin or business and sponsoring the CoinFestUK 2016 was worth it in terms of exposure for our coin. I don't get this animosity all of a sudden, what is your issue with us doing PR for MOJOcoin?

There is no hostility there.
Just wanted specifics for the festival, which I got.
Thank you.
Any questions with Chinese thread::
whether negotiations with the Exchange
1.when the BTC 38 ?
2. Which Chinese stock exchanges will be even added Can?
3. Does the Chinese interface will be in your wallet?

We will work towards the exchanges as soon as the new code is ready, I don't want any new exchanges to run the old code only to have to update in a matter of days. Please be patient for another few days.

Community Funding / Coin Offering

I am confident that the future price of BITZ will be fair and substantially higher than it is today.
There is a limited supply of 3,500,000 BITZ after the PoW phase.
Please donate if you want to, you can use the BTC address below in the OP.

I will offer 49,600 BITZ for sale for 0.00005 BTC each to raise 1.98 BTC.
PM me to buy in to fund future development.

I don't think you lost anything, i just think you didn't shark as much as you liked so you decided to go somewhere else and spitefully sabotaged your own coin after dumping all your holdings.

What has happened before shall happen again.

Nobody bought a single BITZ and nobody, not a single person donated or invested in BITZ and I paid for it all myself and there was no premine and no ICO so I mined like everyone else in the beginning and I have around 65,000 BITZ currently that I will just keep, I didn't sell a single BITZ before I made the announcement and the price dropped. I could have sold my remaining BITZ for 2BTC + but I didn't.

You tell me how to continue work on a project where 5-6 unknown people own more than 50% of the supply, where there is no community and no investment?

I will not discuss BITZ here. If you have an interest in BITZ then start a new thread and I'll be happy to discuss there.

Although minuscule, I did donate to Bitz.

Is there a Bitz thread yet?

Why was the Bitz OP locked?

This is not a BITZ thread, please discuss BITZ elsewhere. If you direct me to a BITZ thread I will answer questions there.

I just got a newsletter and the release date is now 24/05/2016  Huh That's quite a bit later than announced

so as an dev yourself, you just adopted this terrible behaviour, not to read updates in the op, but asking directly on the last page, without reading anything?

There are no further updates of any substance in the OP. I just think that being almost 2 months behind when you have collected millions of dollars in investment is poor.

wheres my long post scammer ?

I did post an update explaining why BITZ support is being discontinued and I will explain that again:

it's just not sustainable anymore to develop BITZ, i.e. I could not afford to do it. Everything was paid out of my pocket and I don't have a large stash of BITZ. What took it over the top and ultimately resulted in the MOJO ICO was the massive pump-n-dump on Bittrex where someone pumped the price and crashed it again. The result in short; I would have to work for free to develop value for a few people who gained massively on the pump. So, my choice was stay with BITZ and hope that I would be able to finance the project and hope that the whales would not strike again or raise funding for another coin that I could develop with the experience from BITZ. I have lost on the BITZ project and I have paid out from my salary from my day job to keep it going and I have spent countless hours trying to progress this. I also lost a key member of the team who got a permanent job in the Bitcoin space and I was not able to raise any funds (I tried) and there was very little support. Taken all together I believe that it would have been near impossible to expand the way I Intended and bring this forward. We all knew the risks involved and I have lost more than you and more than most on this.

The network is still running fine and BITZ can be traded and I would suggest as I said in the OP that the whales get together and bring this forward.

No scam just economics

ED: This thread is for discussion re. the project, if you want to elaborate on the scam accusation, you can start a new thread.
ED2: MOJO is well funded and we have a good team working on some new tech and the project will speak for itself over time.

What was the ico price? around 260 satoshis?

The ICO price 259 Sats and I can not see that MOJO will trade below that any time soon.

Let me ask all of you, this question:

At what point do we consider SB failed / scam / lost / abandoned? Give me a date or a length of time from today that you consider as a reasonable deadline for SB to come back online so that we can withdraw our coins.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1448789.0

how about this week? Smiley
Alberto is currently preparing.
We just got a message

What is the purpose of this new thread?
Do you feel us to censor anything?
Its a new threat with LESS reach, i only know one more reason, that makes sense too
that is if the person itself likes to control/censor content.
but anyway everybody is free to do, what he desires do do ....
That's crypto

have fun

No, the new thread was for the poll
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BITZ] Pure 10% PoS [On Bittrex, Bleutrade] + Cloud-Staking, nodes, explorers on: April 24, 2016, 04:32:03 PM
As you may or may not be aware, someone pumped BITZ heavily at Bittrex some time ago. This effectively killed off BITZ as it ended up with someone holding a very large shares of BITZ and this is against what the crypto was intended for. I may have been somewhat naive when deciding on a 2 mill. coin and not providing proper support in terms of exchanges etc. and allowing the pump to happen. BITZ was conceived with the best of intentions and was intended to be widely distributed. This is no longer possible as the top 5 on the rich list holds about 50% off all the coins. I know that many people probably wanted BITZ to go and they may have been acting in the pump on Bittrex. I don’t know. What I know is that the road map and the planned development is just not possible with a handful of people holding 50% of the coins. I am not going to invest in development of BITZ to benefit the top 5-10 holders of BITZ so that they can dump as some point in the future.

This is why MOJOcoin was conceived and executed in the way it was and this is why MOJOcoin has a much wider distribution and the coin supply is significantly higher. MOJOcoin will take over as our main project and become what I originally imagined for BITZ.

Therefore we will no longer offer support for BITZ and we will no longer develop BITZ for the reasons explained above. I realise that this is not the desired outcome for anyone.

We will now focus entirely on making MOJOcoin a premier crypto and learn lessons from the BITZ project. MOJOcoin is more resilient and will not be taken down like BITZ. This does not imply that I consider the BITZ project failed but I consider it sabotaged with intent to make a profit for a few actors.

The network is still running, exchanges are up and you can still trade.

There is no point in trying to discuss BITZ in the MOJO thread.

If anyone wants to discuss the BITZ project, start a new thread.

Only because at the moment that's better for me.

If it were you what choice would you make...

I don't understand your offer. Why is it not better for me?

I really think you could do more to sustain relationships with those who have come to trust you.

I am now having second thoughts about buying into Mojo because I think your offer is not fair and you are not being fair.

Are you sure you want to abandon Bitz? oh ye, forgot you will not discuss

Anyway I'm sure you don't give 2 hoots...  don't even know why I bothered writing this.

You have been around for a while so I will discuss it with you.

I know you have been following BITZ for a while and I do care, it's just not sustainable anymore to develop BITZ, i.e. I could not afford to do it. Everything was paid out of my pocket and I don't have a large stash of BITZ. What took it over the top and ultimately resulted in the MOJO ICO was the massive pump-n-dump on Bittrex where someone pumped the price and crashed it again. 495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / When do we consider Staisybit to be failed / scam / abandoned? on: April 24, 2016, 03:58:23 PM
As some of you might be aware, the Cloud Staking Service trading as Staisybit (SB) (https://staisybit.com/) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1091402.0 - has been down for a considerable amount of time with no real updates and no timeframe for when it will be back up. As SB went down it took all the invested coins with it, worth around 100 BTC in total. Since the downtime nobody has been able to withdraw any coins and the staff have been unhelpful and have not offered to return coins to customers.

There is a discussion in the SB thread about this with no updates from Alberto. SB supporters keeps making apologies and keep stating that everything is fine and it will all be ok. They also keep stating that there is always a risk in crypto and that you should never invest more than you can loose etc. This does not make sense, SB and Alberto has all the coins or has he lost the coins somehow? Where is the risk here? The risk that Alberto and SB will loose the coins or that they will take the coins and run?

Let me ask all of you, this question:

At what point do we consider SB failed / scam / lost / abandoned? Give me a date or a length of time from today that you consider as a reasonable deadline for SB to come back online so that we can withdraw our coins.

If you have coins in SB, then how much and what coins?

NEW FEATURE

I have set up an official MOJOcoin blog

Mojocoin Official Blog

This will be the first place we will publish any official updates, alerts, competitions and wallet releases and other important news. The blog is not a discussion forum and only serves as an official channel for updates. It has been set at Medium.com as it is easy to use and clear and I am redirecting the subdomain blog.mojocoin.org there now. I will put together an update re. the hard fork shortly and then update with the wallet links as soon as the wallets have been tested properly.

waiting for an update love this coin

As you can see we are testing the new wallet (shows up as /Mojocore:1.0.1.1/ in the explorer) which has been built. The tests are running to make sure the staking is correct and that the masternodes are correctly set up. You can see this here: Block explorer network

I am currently setting up an official MOJOcoin blog as I think that is the best way to update people about news / forks etc. Hope I will have that done today and I will put an update on re. the hard fork and update with download links as soon as we have them.

Don't worry, there is activity behind the scenes and we just need to get past this hard fork and new wallet and then we'll work out a details plan for the future.

500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED] Staisybit - Universal Online Staking Wallet on: April 23, 2016, 05:25:27 AM
I am sorry to drone on about this but, how do you know that Staisybit (SB) is coming back online? You are not directly involved and have no direct line of communication to Alberto and say that he has a communication disability and you ask us to trust him?

I am the dev for Bitz and Alberto was happy to take my Bitcoins to integrate Bitz into Staisybit and there was a lot of communication at that point. There was a lot of communication about promoting SB and there was in general communication about getting people to use SB and for devs to donate and get their coins integrated.

Once SB was up and running was when the communication stopped. There are also lies in this thread. There were never any real communication with devs about the project and about the staking and the so called staking scripts.

The only way I see SB having any chance of surviving is if they set up a system where you hold your own private keys locally.

What we get as investors and customers are apologies on behalf of the dev from other investors and stake holders as the dev can not or will not communicate. How on earth can this ever work?

Even if SB comes back online, how do we as customers have any kind of trust that SB won't just go down again in the same way?

SB does not have that many customers and I say again that the only way that trust could be restored is if Alberto stopped whatever he is doing and started paying back coins to the customers.

If SB comes back online I will withdraw all my coins and I will continue to recommend that everyone else also withdraws all their coins and leave this failed experiment behind.
