Poloniex recently announced they will be taking action against unverified legacy accounts in a similar way to what Bittrex did.  The big difference being though that it's clearly outlined what will happen WAY ahead of time with plenty of notice for people to withdraw their coins if they wish.  And even after it takes effect people will still be able to remove their coins, just not trade them.

Unlike Bittrex which is a thieving piece of shit exchange that should have legal action taken against them soon.

Exactly. This is the RIGHT way to do it. Not the thieving way Bittrex did it.

Unless they're ready for ordering and shipping now, consider them vaporware.

Hey all. Happy New Year!  Wink

So what's the calculation for the necessary hash rate to solve 1 BTC per day? I lost my saved link to the site for it.  Tongue
Do you mean one block or one bitcoin? You need 7.5PH to average 1 bitcoin per day. You need about 95PH to solve one block per day...

WOW, the diff has risen since last I solo mined.
95PH for a block. Just nutso. Can't even hit that with a rental anymore. WOW..

Good luck guys!

Everyone stay the Fugg away from them.

They want enhanced verification on a foreign account which has requested her account to be terminated 20 days ago and her funds transferred out to a wallet.
They just wrote her n update to her ticket saying their ToS let's them close and suspend any account for ANY reason they see fit!!!
They are holding my friend's 2BTC illegally for 3 weeks now. If this were another country people would have burned down their offices already. LOL

RUN people!! RUN!!
486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: December 29, 2017, 03:17:04 AM
I wondering, why there are people so far using the shittrex service? after they are scamming many people with millions of $$$
My question also.

My friend's ticket that has been open 20days requesting her account be closed and her funds transferred to her wallet and they still have not done it.
Ticket # 655768
487  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Testing the WATERS WTS L3+ s on: December 28, 2017, 03:08:50 AM
I have quite a few L3+ i may be interested in selling. I'm just curious as to what the max people would be willing to offer on each of them. All are basically brand new and are cooled by outside intake air are so they have never seen temps over 60C. Now I'm not in any financial bind or have any real reason to have to get rid of them i'm just seeing what people would be willing to pay. Again i am just testing the waters. If this type of post is not allowed please delete. Thank you

Yes and the march are sold out. I leaned towards the l3s as there is more scrypt coins over sha256. Also bitmain has orders of s9s hitting the streets every 7-10 days difficulty is going to continue to grow and grow. The march batch of L3s is the first batch since december.

Yup, that's why L3+'s are worth gold today in hand. Wink

Nobody is at those prices.  Cheesy
Drop to 1/2 and 'MAYBE' you can sell it.
489  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: December 27, 2017, 11:53:03 PM
This is such a joke. I feel so bad for my friend from Overseas going through this bullsht with Bittrex. Her ticket's been open for a MONTH about the inability to basic verify to get her funds out and they replied 3 with almost the same message about needing to do enhanced verification, which she todl them from the start (in about a dozen) updates that she did not want to do as she is not supposed to from Thailand anyways..

Almost 2 weeks now she opened another ticket to close her account and have her funds transferred out and they are refusing to do so. So they have stolen almost 2BTC from her. I wish I lived closer to Washington State so I could give them a visit in person at their office or person(s) named in the business registration.

She does not want to join the lawsuit as she fears they'll indefinitely steal her money.

Never thought sht like this would happen form the US. Pisses me off.

I hope EVERYONE takes their funds to another exchange and stops trading at this scammy pos and the people in charge get their a$$es beat by people.

490  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) Asic mining farm hosted in data center on: December 27, 2017, 07:02:05 AM
Your pricing is 30%+ too high. Sorry.
What's the power charge per kwh? $2400 per month sounds awefully high.

I've used Philipma1957 for escrow numerous times with no issues.

This thread is utterly useless.
492  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer L3+ & PSU (Brand New) on: December 23, 2017, 02:02:38 AM
Doesn't look like they're interested in selling.

So you're suing them, or did you join the class-action against them?
494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: December 22, 2017, 03:14:17 PM
People that have lost money because of their accounts locked or un verified and can not move, and the drop in BTC, can you sue Bitttrex because of it?
Essentially they are holding people's money , AKA stealing with no recourse. Time to call the Washington State DA people!

It would be great but can you actually do anything against them? Will they give a fuck? Because I honestly doubt it, unfortunately. Also people here don't seem to care much either.

If the people losing money are from the US they can easily cause enough trouble for Bittrex to lose their licensing . They can also be sued in a heartbeat in the US.

Yeah but you think they are not going to fight it? They will just say the have been verifying accounts and will just give retarded excuses for all the disabled accounts.

I'm sure they will, but they can be overwhelmed of enough people start the lawsuit(s). The fact that they are holding people's funds with tickets for verification or other reasons is illegal in the USA. Since Bittrex did not lend the money to the account holder, they have ZERO ability and rights to withhold it from the account holder, if they request it be transferred out of Bittrex to another wallet. It's that simple in the USA. When there is money involved the govt will butt-fugg them promptly if enough people complain/start lawsuits or contact the local and national media about it.

But isn't the ''KYC'' thing supposed to protect them from that? Like they disabled all withdrawals because of that, that's what they say. You think people from outside the US can do something? A part from exposing them on social media.

Yup. In the US we have laws that will go after the company. Not sure where you're from and people should just write it off.

Pics with your name on it?

Also, PM me your best price for local pickup in NY.

Here is the info we got for Bittrex to start the WS DA Complaints. Unless the DA steps in, Bittrex WILL disappear with evreyone's funds as nobody will trade on there again. Heck they are already rated 'F' by the BBB in the USA.

BBB Link : https://www.bbb.org/southern-nevada/business-reviews/virtual-currency/bittrex-in-las-vegas-nv-90051388/Alerts-and-Actions
(RATED 'F' by the BBB)

Everyone do this ASAP to get the calls to bittrex started by the WS District Attorney's Office.
