If I were some wild conspiracy nut, I might think that as more S9's are pointed at our pool, that our luck has gone sour.
It certainly seems to have.

Let's get back to a multi-daily pool restart, shall we?
Anyone notice that the bad luck streaks across the net has started since the S9's started arriving?

I brought up the same question about my reported best shares being much higher than the pool status page bestshare, yet was told to 'Not worry about it'... So who knows.

I've gotten more than a bunch of people to switch to it who were renting from me in MRR and directly.

Who is the moron renting 25.6PH at high prices?
F2? U serious? Someone really HAS to actually ask this? This is a joke, right? Is it April's Fool's day? Flugtag? Did Hillary win the election and the US population all became lobotomized (more than they already are).. Ok enough kwan-teen - ness. KANO.IS IMO IS the best pool out there, but if only people would stop with the big f'ing rentals from NH/SH. They don't seem to get the fact that they actually lose BTC doing it by renting HUGE amounts at one sitting.

LOL. I wouldn't call 2 blocks a windfall. Mostly not after the past few days of crap luck average.
Is 6 in 6 hours enough? (to call it a windfall) Yup. Yeah. That's more like it.

Time for my 4Ph rental to finally hit a block Long overdue for one. Want to add some to the pool Best regards I'm sure your rental paid well for itself. Lol

So who are the ftards doing the huge NH rentals and killing the luck?
Stick to MRR. I think something is fishy sometimes with NH rentals.

Can't find the support email addy for NH, so here it goes : In your FAQ on your website you say you do NOT charge any fees for refilling orders that already exist : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can I edit or refill my order, and what happens if I cancel my order?[/b] Yes, you can edit your order. You can increase order price and optionally limit hashing power (or change existing limit). If you edit your order and set higher price, the logic is the same as when submitting new orders, see also How can I buy hash power at NiceHash?
You can also refill your existing orders which essentially extends the running time of an order - you can refill your orders as many times as you want and you are not additionally charged for refilling an existing order.
You can also decrease price of your existing orders. To avoid manipulation, price decrease is only available within predefined price steps, can be applied only each 10 minutes and resets your position to the bottom of sub-list of same-priced orders. The predefined value of price decrease is displayed on Decrease price button. Of course, once you decrease price you can always later increase it without any limitation.
If you cancel the order, you'll get your Bitcoins back. This enables you to quickly switch between different algorithms (Scrypt/Scrypt-Adaptive-Nfactor/SHA256/etc.) in dependence of current profitability without loosing funds or hash power.
The remaining Bitcoins that have not been used yet for paying accepted shares are loaded back into your wallet and service fee will be refunded (from the remaining Bitcoins), however small 0.0001 BTC non-refundable order submission is not refunded. We've had attacks with order spamming in the past and currently don't have any other appropriate ways to prevent order spamming. Our first priority is to protect all users, stability and security of the system. Thanks for understanding.
Please note: it takes a couple of minutes for the refunded funds to appear in your NiceHash wallet.
Note: You can not lower the price on your order and order can not be paused. These features would lead to orders manipulation or abuse (discussed above) and are thus not available, but you can implement them by canceling and re-submitting orders, applying to the above stated rules. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yet there is a 3% charge every time nicehashbot refills an order. Why is this?? Bump

Will you guys ever fix nicehashbot's inability to keep up with a rising and falling price? Adjustments of 0.0001 or whatever it does every 10 minutes is f'ing absurd!

Unless you want to see your losses go up, I'd suggest not going to Bitminter. LOL. Last block took 2.5 weeks.
So renting 1ph for a couple of hours isnt a good idea? Better to rent say, 100th for a week?
It makes no difference either way. 1PH for an hour has exactly the same chance of finding a block as 100TH for 10 hours. The only difference to you is that you get to watch your rental for longer with the lower hashrate. And you don't screw up and raise up the prices on other people's rentals . When people rent a short burst of high PH on NH/WH it fuggs up everyone else with higher rates.

More than likely pool or user config error.
IF a miner was running fine in the past and all the way up to the start of the rental, then once rented it went poof, it's ALWAYS a problem with your settings, your pool, or the pool's vardiff not working. Or running too slow.
i've been having this problem with renters numerous times (twice today!) opened a ticket just to ask & see what the problem is; got a reply saying This occurs when there is an issue with the renter's pool configuration i'm not complaining! i get paid while my rig's chilling! its just annoying to see that sudden drop of hashrate in your chart for no reason at all! & the fact that it can be misleading for noobs & visually discredit your rig & service! was wondering whether MRR could implement a solution to test if a user's pool config is valid before letting them rent rigs! as in everyone has to have valid pool config before being able to rent! I agree. I have had a bunch of people over the past few days rent and complain that they were not getting proper hash rates, even though it is obviously their pool or config fault. Even tried to hand-hold them to help out and still get a refund pulled by MRR for them. All on almost 100% rated rentals I have. I opened a few tickets up regarding them and already got back the reply : "They were using a popular pool." Riiight.. Even if it's 'popular' doesn't mean they set it up right and never used a manual difficulty which is known to screw up with a LOT of pools if relying on vardiffs. Frustrating. I think a lot of newbs are renting after turning off their tiny home-based miners and have no clue how renting/difficulty settings/workers and pools really work. Some don't even want hel to fix or figure out why THEIR junk pool is not working.
