1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 17, 2016, 07:01:54 PM
Yeah, Eth is poised to be Bitcoin 3.0. We'll see.
The small up and down swings of the price are the usual 'traders' profiting by pumping and dumping like with stocks. Never believe anything people's post or say online. Do your own due diligence, read accredited articles and see who is involved with the coin.

This is the only thing out there right now that has a remote chance of being ,something' . If it goes where people's think, expect and hope it will, it'll make a lot of smart people's very rich in the next year.

good progression of ETH price today to 0.022, with good volume (50 % of BTC) Grin

Yeah. News hasn't hit yet even..  Wink

Daym. I had 5.33B bestshare again before he solved it.
Lol
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 17, 2016, 12:54:59 PM
Because suprnova underpays or steals shares, who knows. During my tests a few weeks ago it paid consistently 30% less than ethermine.org or ethpool.org even did.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 16, 2016, 01:52:22 PM
Same as always, BTC going up, ETH going down.

logical. When BTC goes up, all alt coins go down. Not only ETH

Yup. That's because of the price change as btc goes up, the other coins follow down to match previous price.
Rarely, the altcoins stay high temporarily and you can make some extra $$ on the price moves.

This is with no news or pumps involved on a static altcoin price.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 15, 2016, 07:53:37 PM
Ok, thanks for the confirmation.  I first tested it out with just one 390x connected via 16x riser, and that worked great.  Then, I installed TeamViewer, shut down, connected the other GPUs via 1x-16x risers, and restarted (without a monitor plugged in.  I thought I could just then use TeamViewer to connect and start up the mining software).  After work, I'll try restarting again but with a monitor connected during bootup to see if the other GPUs get started.

I've got 2x 1000w platinum PSUs to power the 6 gpus.  Should be enough.  While testing though, I've only got the 3 connected with 1 of the PSU.  I think 1000w is enough to power those 3 cards though...

No Prob.

The 390x's shoudl draw stock about 250watts each, the 280x's about 230watts or so. (as long as they are good quality cards).
'Most' 390x's you can undervolt and get back about 10-20% wattage, some more, some less.
I run all my 390's (non 'x') at 100mv undervolt, 1100/1500 settings (stock is 1015/1500) and they use 200-210watts each while getting around 29MH+ now.
Solo mining has been earning me 50% more than pool mining for the past week so I'm sticking to it. Some days I get 1, some days I get 5 blocks.
1467  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 171 blocks solved! on: April 15, 2016, 02:58:23 PM
I threw my 800TH at it for 1/2 a day. Nothing..  Shocked
1468  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: April 15, 2016, 02:44:47 PM

ps. why would i go else where when i have the convenience of mining here selling here and getting paid here all in one place (wish i could get payed to my paypal account instead of bank but yeah), unless your going to say i'll get more rewards elsewhere lol.

why would you go anywhere else? idk cus bitmain and antpool are bad for btc. unless your actually located in china there is no reason to use a chinese pool.

and yes you would get paid more else where. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1338693.0)
VERY BAD.. Stay away from chinese pools and if possible, stay away from Chinese made JUNK.

Yes It's been good for the past 14 hours. *Crossing fingers*.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 15, 2016, 08:01:55 AM
NO it does NOT..

I run a bunch of them with 5 GPU's each with no problems using USB 1x to 1x Risers.
You only need to plug in 1 GPU to the monitor so you can see what's going on. After it's all set and automated, no need to plug anything in.
Use a remote desktop software like teamviewer or gotopc, etc...

Make sure you're using a GOOD power supply and plug in the MOLEX cable into the Mobo.

1475  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: April 13, 2016, 12:34:49 PM
is Nicehash.com down? I haven't been able to connect to the website for 2-3 hours now.

Yes, it's not just you, it's down since hours and BTC in orders are still draining and hash being delivered.
Though I have no way to either cancel or re-adjust my orders since hours. The site has been down or acting erratically a lot in the last days.
Any statement from nicehash?

No statement from nicehash. I've contacted them through here and on twitter. I'm extremely frustrated. I had just sent 2 BTC there to mine something that's time sensitive!! Now my 2 BTC are stuck and I can't invest it elsewhere.

'Time-sensitive' and mining doesn't compute... on nicehash at least....

Nicehashbot has been stable since last night, so they 'fixed' whatever is all specifically related to me.. *ROLL EYES*. It's their crappy servers. It is constantly up and then down again.
Nicehashbot's terminal window shows this many times during the day, then crashes it.

No wonder most people don't use it. I'm the only one dumb enough to. lol
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 13, 2016, 04:33:44 AM
Hmm. No issues in my end with geth/wallet and synching across multiple pc's.

1477  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: April 13, 2016, 12:25:05 AM
Is nicehash going out of business? It's reliability is becoming like Betarigs was. Nicehashbot always down, even website crashing, nobody doing anything about it.

I thought they were claiming they have a 'developer/support staff' or programmers on hand to fix their software?

thedreamer, we would very much like to help you, but your issues seems to be isolated to you. We would need some more information in order to help you or fix the bugs that you encounter. Send us screen-shot of the issues with NiceHashBot and screen-shot of crashed website when you come across this kind of issue. Thanks.

I doubt it's isolated to me. It is happening from multiple locations/networks and different PC's. Nicehashbot crashes constantly with a server error . I wrote the info down before and am too lazy to keep looking it up).
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 12, 2016, 03:01:18 PM
i only have 10 ETH and i mined them all. price is almost half and may be will not that high again soon. I planned to buy another gpu with it. My target was at least 20 ETH @ $14-$15 per coin. Damn

Stop panicking and put on big boy pants... This is crypto, not a cash piggy bank. It will swing, it will crash, it will pump and rise. They all do, but at least Ethereum has more to it than 98% of the altcoins out there have/had.

So what we are seeing here is the 51% rule in reality.  It doesn't matter who hits the block first, China just overrules everyone when they can and moves on.  The next step is to simply take over all found blocks.

Yep  it is an issue that will most likely kill off BTC sooner rather then later.

agreed. unfortunately this is human nature. They see it as a way to get rich quick and dont care who or what they screw over doing so. in what other industry does the producer of the product also consume it? kinda sounds like a dealer getting high off his own supply. (normally bad for business)

where does money come from in nature?  this is all man made construct that can be reversed.. but they have no incentive to "yet".. Let us see the price drop thru the floor and another coin take hold.. ohh wait they already mining eth too.  O well.. was  a great experiment anyway.

Best REgards
Doug

One day after f2pool opened for Eth coin. The coin started to tank .

Back to the pool we need more blocks!

Anything china touches they 'eff' up.
