Atomic swaps where discussed here and I could not see that it works yet:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1364951.0

Than as a true blockchain company you should pay not in fiat but in bitcoin.
4822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction queue size on: November 22, 2016, 05:46:40 PM
the transaction is here

https://blockchain.info/tx/9e8a1556766430300c99dcfd961672f4b2c099c5c428340d44650fc8c44e6d38

it says it's high priority, and very soon. It's been like that for many hours now (18+)
I got about the same wait time so far, maybe 10hrs for me
Tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/30b9746c7470f5ee94a25bee66a89f6f053ab8404048a17fbb5dcf49beaf1304

Unfortunately this was sent from an online wallet of mine this time so i had no control over the tight ass fee they added.

In this instance there is no use being pissed off at bitcoin, i have sent 3 other transactions after this all with an adjusted fee and all confirmed within about 20min.
Although fees are starting to get a little high at times like these.

Edit: mempool is over 50k transactions and counting, this could take a full day to clear.

Shit. And it is soooo cheap to do this again and again.... Such a clusterfuck!

Makes it very easy to any attacker to fuck up the network. Any small bitcoin hater is invited to cheer up.

I wonder how Andreas Antonopoulus is able to make his live only by bitcoin / dependant on trx and fee guessings?

I really wish all those politicians and fear mongers, unable to provide a community-unifying compromis (= consensus), should really try the same - put your lives on bitcoin trx - exclusively!

So with this we might see some real good consensus sofware coming out of devs work.

And no this is not spam - the threshold defines ALL to be spam, but not the elite.

There is no fee quessing, if you use the correct tools to determine the recommended fee -->  here https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ ... I have used

it for a long time, and I have not had any problems with tx's not being confirmed. I just hate it when people come to this forum, complaining

about tx's not confirming, and then they do not post the tx ID for us to see where the problem is. Andreas will cover all his bases and would

not rely on people guessing what the fees must be to pay him, and if and when this happens... he would give them proper advice to rectify

the problem.  Wink

Sorry, but with a community wide consensus there would be no such Problem as you just admitted there IS, artificially created and very obvious to any neutral judges.
4824  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 22, 2016, 12:58:58 PM
I don't wish to see Bitcoin going over 5000 USD per coin or so. This is because I would like to see Bitcoin (or maybe another cryptocurrency) to take over traditional fiat currency when this technology become more mature. If Bitcoin price is very high, I really doubts it will have mass adoption and hence becoming only an investment for rich people and big corporate.

Hu ?  Sth llike 10 Satoshi = 1 Cent  works fine and would fit for any scenario...

TXS fees are the major issue against mass adoption

Don't forget the possibility that Satoshi could be a group of people.

Yep, and they might wait until there is a closed economy where no dumping vs fiat is needed at all.

Hope there might be first real bootstrapping in  some unbanked Region?

Just found this video about a modified PoS (Prof Kiayias) , partitioned into time slots and with a random selection of new stakeholders

Shows nice graphs on theoretical central -> decentral and speed graph but missing full CAP theorem view. Watch at 15min:

https://youtu.be/pjYDWWEkgN0

At 35 min the new PoS model comes up.

Guess, it won t work....

Auf unocoin (https://www.unocoin.com/charts):

61857 INR/BTC * 0.014671 $/INR = 907.504047 $/BTC

Indien macht bisher weiter.

Shocked

Auf unocoin (https://www.unocoin.com/charts):

63373 INR/BTC * 0.0146681 $/INR = 929.5615013 $/BTC

Indien macht immer noch weiter.

Cheesy

So can there be a defracmented system of markets again? Or will you try to lead all?

Funny this Money discussion here in the Decentral blog.

But I guess this is exactly where it belongs to since perfect money in terms of store of value or store of work needs an ideal decentral proof of work as kind of intrinsic value or feature.

Gold was the ancient best aproach to that.

Fiat WITH gold standard was a good try, but...

Bitcoin is next level.

Sure there are higher levels, but I'm not able to see it yet...

Feel free to report any success story you can share here and / or PM me if you think I could help.

If they ban cash how will they pay for their illegal drugs and prostitutes?

You need to establish a secondary market / economy and go f_ck for drug ...

 Grin

BTW India might be next.... that's some magnitudes higher than Sweden. China ?

Nochmals zu Indien:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/india-bitcoin-premium-reaches-20/

Folgender Auszuege:
Quote
Coinsecure launched Entry Level Trading Account for International Users as well as the Indian market and removed the verification process for a .5% fee.

Quote
“Users can submit their KYC when they want to withdraw or deposit INR and avail the discounted fee of 0.3%,”

Ok.
