etherum ETH never hard dumped this dump or price is down still control and slow down not fast dump and hard dump this now price ETH is still stable price
It could drop in price in the next few months when most investors will divert their attention to ZCash. The Business models for ETH and ZCash are quite orthogonal - I don't expect anything here - but plumming agains bitcoin....

No, not really. How about you prove that they aren't spam? 30k unconfirmed transactions in the 1-10 satoshis/byte range says a lot. Sorry I can't. I have no clear definition / qualifier to detect spam and separate from good txs. All I know is that this type of definition / qualifier is constant over time. Why do we have so much spam shouting just starting last few months ? If we can identify a 'someone' or a group started this would really help here.

Sorry - why do you say 'spam' - how do you know ?
You can analyze the types of transactions, included fees and whatnot yourself. Why do you say 'someone' - how do you know?
That's not your concern. From you as a mod I'd expect a bit more quality here ...
That is irrelevant and a fallacy. Thanks for answering on that. You say 'spam' - > you or others (link?) need to prove not me . Same on 'someone' - have you indacation of a single one or a single Group spamming on purpose (that would imply your posting) ? - Clear that you do not Need to say a Name.

What's your point? This is just the number of unconfirmed TXs on blockchain.info's node. My mempool is around 450 MB and ~60k unconfirmed transactions (at the time of writing this post). Someone turned up the spam today. Sorry - why do you say 'spam' - how do you know ? Why do you say 'someone' - how do you know? From you as a mod I'd expect a bit more quality here ...

it is almost funny to see all these topics about bitcoin price (high price) being active in this board in the past two days, especially this particular one which is also old.
i always say that topics with big price predictions which are unrealistic like 560K$ are the same as FUD topics with the very low price which is also unrealistic like $100 and the same way the other way is not happening this is also not happening and certainly not in 14 months (or 13 if you count from the OP)
I fully understand your point - it looks very odd to say such things. But pls take a closer look into that one and I hope you see the predictions made as risk manager would calc agnostically - and yes it's pure math - no FUD or position related / biased stuff: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4519139/

I guess this needs to be recalced a bit including some externalities like scaling / political issues + other alts, blockchains and hyperledgers steeling parts of the show ...
Bro I think the OP was smoking funny stuff when he made that price prediction. I am actually bullish regarding bitcoin but myself, I'd be extremely happy to see $1,000 value per bitcoin in thr next 12 months at some point. I'd see that as good. Kind of - but it's the very same fun-smoke like others take to give extreme value to fiat, facebook, whatsapp, twitter or other stuff ... If bitcoin get's its problems solved and adoption + volatility goes hyperbolic -this prediction IS very conservative like quantum physics & stochastical mechanics can show.

Bank cards have one big advantage, it's not their security, but their guarantees. Claim you card was stolen and charges made by a thief are refunded.
With bitcoin, you're in charge of security. A blessing for some, a nightmare for others.
True. And banks do that because of love? We morons pay for all those losers - due to nice insurance fees !!!!

Well while Bitcoiners are busy hating and badmouthing anything and everything that doesn't adhere to their 'Bitcoin philosophy', banks are calmly looking for ways to integrate the blockchain tech into their design, completely oblivious to the hate. The blockchain tech that Satoshi created is bigger than us, it's bigger than Bitcoin. Why not let them do their thing while we do ours and let the people decide for themselves which one they prefer?
But I think bitcoin will win in the long run as more people are becoming aware of it.While banks are adopting it in their system, still the profits goes to them in terms of charges etc. People are looking a system which is cheaper or value for their money. Yes and you give good reason to keep fees low and system unlimited + open to all beeing unpoltical as much as possible.

Huh? The very most conservative change to bitcoin would be to keep historical distance from used block size to max limit - in percentage! No more

humanINTEL can id real content ... amplify that and you win ... stick with linear math
Linear math for the voting rewards can't prevent Sybils. We already covered this in great detail upthread. Sorry the problem is rewards via voting. That can never be an objective system. Either you have Sybils or you have whale extraction. There is no other mathematical option. Looks like those behave orthogonal... Only a very small point of correlation...

Bitcoin will be never die bro. I think It will be more valuable in next years.
It already died bro. Just because it still has value due to lingering speculative idiots, the network is broken without any reasonable scaling solution. There is a stalemate for two years now where one party Blockstream wants to rig up an alt to replace bitcoin so their proprietary system gets going. While the otherside big blockers want to scale on chain. But, Blockstream controls commit access and decides what goes in the next version of software. The system is dead. Just because morons pay $600 - doesn't somehow mean the software is functional. The software is fucked. Bitcoin is dead. Died a long time ago. Hehe dead and alive. good stuff since dead ones live longer It s really dead, if the 21Mio limit falls and node + miner count = 21

You can replace Visa with other stuff like SWIFT, ACI and even BankBlockchainhyperledger.... But still you sound a bit philosophical: how comes a dead one knows anything?
