Great video for those who doesn't know about additive manufacturing, cloud computing ... but it only present the positive side of things, and doesn't talk about the limitations and issues, it's more like a promotional video a good one at that, and I feel that bitcoin technology and bit/altcoins should get many videos like this that explain to the general public what the technology is all about and what cryptocurrencies

Last response from May 14th:

I am really sorry about our response delay to you. I am working with our Payments Department to get these returned wires credited back to your Kraken account right now. Somewhere in between the transaction of your funds being returned by your bank back to our bank, the funds were sorted into a "retuned funds" category which we are working to credit back to you as soon as possible. I will keep you updated once we have done so, but rest assure I have requested this action as urgent to our Payments Department. Again, my sincerest apologies for the delay and the inconvenience you have experienced. Thank you.

Yet another week passed, still have no funds returned. I will keep updating, so that you get a real life feedback on this case to decide for yourselves.

thanks for the information, I myself use Kraken for small amounts (I don't own much) but so far it's been all good for me no issues what so ever, but keep a not to my self that in case of such an issue it can become problematic
505  Economy / Economics / Re: IRS says mining is "income" (40% tax) instead of cap. gains (20% tax) on: May 22, 2014, 02:51:39 PM
Just to make sure of a couple of things

-that 40% on income is after you remove the price of hardware and electricity right?
-when you pay your tax you also contribute to your social security and retirement plan right? I'm not to familiar with the american system, but here in europe when you work and you have your gross salary and net salary, and the different is to pay off for all those + tax (well at least in some countries)?
-I'm not promoting tax evasion here, but how can IRS know how much you bitcoin you've mined

It's weird when your browsing the forums and find random Asian pictures here and there
One more for today Tongue
Take your pick

is there some kind of promotion there, buy one and get one for free  Grin, no seriously they are all physically great if not hot, but I'm sometimes still skeptical about the amount of the make up and how they could look without it
507  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which Console, Xbox One or PS4? on: May 22, 2014, 02:43:20 PM
I've had both xbox and ps2 and found that xbox was the better system.. I had xbox 360 and ps3 and sold my ps3 rather quickly so going with past experience I decided to skip the ps4 and just get the xbox one. And I'm telling you right now , no regrets it is a awesome console.. And with the better exclusives out already and titanfall and halo 5 it's only gonna get better ! Playstation is suppose to be the "true gamers system" where are the exclusives?? Killzone?? No thanks and ya the playstation has more power but who's to even say that they are gonna take full advantage of that!

Please explain to me how the xbox was a better system than the PS2 it has nothing to it that could touch the PS2, games library, exclusives, market shares ect ect. the PS3 tho it was a bit different story, the PS3 launched one year after the Xbox360 with a ridiculous price tag and basically had no games and it was quite complex to develop games for it, but then again the Xbox360 was a nightmare with it RROD issues, but after 2008 the PS3 became again the best choice, not only it was superior in terms of hardware, the exclusives started raining as they used to be in the PS2 era, hence the reason they caught up and passed the xbox360 sales numbers despite the huge advantage MS has int he beginning and btw the PS3 to this day still getting exclusives. Sony learned from it mistakes from last generation and look his struggling this time around.

As for exclusives launching, Titanfall is not an exclusive since I have that on my pc and I can play it on a much better resolution and setting than on the 500$ XBOne and that's about the only "exclusive" worth mentioning that was launched on it as for Sony, Infamous second son already launched, and some of the best series are confirmed such as the last of us, or uncharted, GT ect ect. gaming =/= FPS, the best way to play FPS is on a pc (as all the titles you've mentioned are fps)

512  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dealing with idiots. on: May 21, 2014, 09:38:12 PM
if you quite your work you might get another job where you have a better boss but that not a certain, Sadly you'll always meet and work with some idiots, and you have to deal with the situation in the smartest way and know when to be diplomatic and when you need to draw a line, I'm not saying it's easy I'm saying just try to be smart about it and know that at the end of the day it's just work, you have something to do just do it , and get done with it

Currently rewatching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This is the sixth or seventh time. Still love it.

the original was good, as for the most recent season I didn't like it at much or at least the beginning and didn't watch it

516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: May 21, 2014, 06:08:30 PM
Paying 500 usd for private key is not an idea most people will take.

euh what? by same logic paying 500$ for one 500$ bill (another piece of paper) is not an idea most people will take which is not the case, it's the concensus of value you give it, bitcoin cost money to produce (hardware-electricity ect ect) it can buy you stuff, and thus it has a value
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: May 21, 2014, 02:48:03 PM
not yet, if you notice the current trend, the price has already stable around the 500$ If the price were to have another 50-100$ jump it would require a massive buy out of 500-1000btc

so thats mean that we should only be patient and hhooddlll until it climbs up again i wish it will became stable for the couple of months and rise a little bit

there is a slightly higher chance for it to rise than to drop, but everything is possible, bitcoin is still quite speculative and still a relative not large movement (500bitcoins is not a huge quantity if you consider the amount of money poured in the stock market for example) can make the difference in bitcoin at the moment Sad

I heard a discussion about this in the radio today, a key information here is that they've been married for 30 years or something like that, so there is some legitimity behind the judgement tho, she might have contributed in the fortune of the guy
