Don't waste your time reporting to them, the only thing you should be ready for, is that if you lose money be ready to sue the heck out of them since it's their fault for not being as secure as they claim to be

Actually it does, he talking about 8.1 update 1

Ah, okay, so they re-patched their 8.1 Patch to 8.1.1 then... At least something.

btw, I'm not really against offering new GUI conventions (even if they break the old ones) - BUT they have to be optional.
Had MicroSoft offered to make a simple choice to use either Win2000 - XP - Aero - Metro GUI, they would have saved themselves from alot of trouble.
But it seems they preferred to go the Office Ribbons route "Fail to find even the most-used and basic functions!!".

On a positive note, all that re-introduced the users back to the Windows Keyboard shortcuts and the console Wink
(which are quicker in producing results than their failed Metro GUI or Ribbons UI any day)

Yes exactly, they are offering the option now to by pass the whole modern UI thingy (they don't call it metro as in windows phone and don't know why) Modern UI is good but not right now maybe when they'll be a strong appstore and most have a touch screen device but right now it's just a pain for those who doesn't have those

But aside that, you just need to choose the boot drive, to the one you want to install windows from USB or CD Drive for example; if your hard drive already have windows just make your harddrive your primary device

Windows 8.1 actually brings back the start button!

Yeah, but it doesn't work like the start button.
Win8 is likely the only OS you have to purchase some shareware to make it work halfway useful again.

It's not surprising that the Win8 lead designer has been fired from MicroSoft.

Metro design looks like a 16 color CGA design for the visually impaired (reminds me of the Win95 basic design for handicapped users).
Even the 25 years old C64 GEOS or the Commodore AMIGA Workbench offered higher usability than Metro on a Desktop. Heck I'd rather sit in front of a 15 year old SGI Irix 6.5 Desktop on a 20 year old Indigo2 200MHz Unix workstation - at least that GUI actually works like a charm and still looks heaps & bounds better than this retarded Metro design error.

SC2, if you fancy a game that combines, strategy, instant decision making, and gaming mechanics and reflexs
When I had taken my gpu miners down last November cause of poor payback, I converted one to a gaming machine and had purchased SC2.  I played it a few times along with Borderlands 2 and Rage, but then the prices of bitcoins and the alt-coins went up and I put the gpu miners back online.

I still have the GPU miners running, but am getting close to shutting them down again.  In the mean time, I have been playing Magic:The Gathering in real life and just recently started playing the online version, MTGO.  What I found was that I can actually play it while still mining as the overhead from the game is low.  The miner loses about 20KH/s while playing, which is not that much for a couple of hours of game play.

So, MTGO is the game I have been playing the past couple of weeks.  Still getting my @ss handed back to me in match play, but I am getting better.

If I take the GPU miners offline again, I will be back to play some more SC2.

I used to play on my gaming desktop while mining, sc2 is not that of a heavy game at intensity 13 the games runs fine, but what I do now is play on my ultrabook while using my desktop monitor and gear, it plays fine, at good setting with few slowdowns when I have many tabs open on browsers and flash stuff (but might be ram related, as I only have 4gb on my laptop)

I'm just going to say no and no because I have no idea what you're talking about, why did you ask 2 questions instead of one?

There is really not much justification for more MS OS'ms. Are there any essential things that Windows 7 and 8 contain, that XP does not?

Minor updates and bugfixes would be sufficient. Instead there are major releases which are bloated with graphical gimmick that just waste system resources but add nothing substantial.

Security/speed/latest standard compatibilities, XP is so popular because it is light and when vista came out vista had too much incompatibility issues and didn't like old machines thats why XP remained strong

So the black boxes stop pinging after 30 days and we only start looking for them ~25 days into the search? Doesn't sound like a very smart thing to do IMO.

They were looking for them but the location they were looking at was wrong due to to multiple factors, after corrections they are manging to find the ping, it will take months if not years to get them back from to the surface if it is a 4-8 Kms water deap area

Did you really have to answer your own question?

That's not an answer, but rather my opinion on the subject and other might have their own opinion, don't you agree?
