5141  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 16, 2017, 08:02:12 AM
You should invest some amount in trading of altcoins and hold some bitcoins to sell them in future because the price of bitcoin is increasing and in coming days it will definitely give you a good profit. And don't try to invest your money in gambling it is full of risk and you'll loose all your investment because it totally based on your luck.
to me ii think 0.5 is really a good amount of bitcoin and you can invest it in trading alt coin and from there in turn you can also get a good profit. i think. but for that you need to be a good trader because if you do not have any experience in trading then it is very risky to invest money in trading as there are more chances  that you will lose your money.
Yes it is a good a mount to start in my country with  0.5 BTC you can live for a month with that money. Trading will be better choice for them if they want to invest it.
Here you can barely live for a week comfortably on that money.  The best choice is probably to drop it into a casino bankroll and see how it grows over the course of a year or so.  You could even keep adding more over time, if you put it in a variety of different bankrolls instead of just one.
That must be a developed country where you lives in. I think that investing into casino's bankroll only suited well for people who have so many times and not expecting too much profit.
I honestly better to find out better place of investment where it could grow the bitcoin a little bit faster rather than very small percents of bitcoin per year. Maybe, a promising altcoins project?.
5142  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: April 16, 2017, 07:56:27 AM
No doubt that USD is being used for illegal activities, if it is not so. Then US doesn't have any prisoners for committing such crimes. And there's no exception of it, as long as it is money, people who are craving for money and riches will use any currency that they wish to use for their illegal activities.
Also the world acceptance of the dollar makes it very attractive for those that want to commit crimes to use it, it does not make much sense to use a currency that only a few have ever heard of, the US dollar is known all around the world.
That's right, a wide acceptance + leaves no traces. Actually, bitcoin or any other altcoins (except those which really have anonymity features instead of pseudo-anonymous) aren't suited well for illegal activities that every traces of transactions will always be saved up inside the blockchain and it's impossible to be deleted. Just still wondering why people here keep on assuming something which is wrong regarding bitcoin's pseudo-anonymity that they said could bring the criminals to a higher level.
5143  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: April 16, 2017, 06:39:18 AM
With the price of Bitcoin being so volatile should we ever consider buying or even holding if we have bitcoins?

What are your thoughts??? What should we do??

As it stands today at this moment, the Bitcoin volatility index reads:
4.57% the latest 30-day volatility estimate
3.54% the latest 60-day volatility estimate

The bitcoin volatility index for present day can be seen at: https://btcvol.info/

My opinion of bitcoin longterm can be investigated here in this post titled "Hacks & puppets & forks - how to destroy bitcoin": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1834310.0
I think we should still. For me i see higher volatility in price as more profit.Fast changes in prices may make more profit for traders when it comes in short trading. If trader like me goes by the flow of price volatility we can make more profit for us
Only if you can manage to always make a profit instead of losing your money. Higher volatility means more profit alongside with higher risks. People like you often think that it's opportunity, there's nothing wrong, but if you're underestimating this circumstance, you will eventually doomed, no matter how smart you're on managing your money or analyzing the current trends.
5144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a beginner, I want to start trading. What should i do? on: April 16, 2017, 06:36:09 AM
I think you should know alt coin trading isn't easy and you can lose a lot of money trying to earn profit, especially if you are trying to trade unknown recently pumped alt coins, as they die very often and after a big pump the price is dumped fastest.
Trade with bitcoins is the best trade you can do, it's safe, you don't need to worry if the currency will lose price.
Trading in any currency is risky, including trading altcoins. Since in altcoins, it is in its developer on how does the market goes. If the developers decided to dump it, all of its investors would lose their money which could cause a coin to die and the only people that take advantage of that are the exchangers and its developers. However, not all of altcoins end up with this since many altcoin get sucessful and it's a crtypto currency coin now.
Both tradings in bitcoin or altcoin is risky either, there's no such thing as safe trading because you still have the risks of losing your money anytime. Trading bitcoin sometimes are really hard because you often can't predict the dumping or pumping by the market, you can only follow the trends, if you're against it, you're doomed. Whereas with altcoin, if the developers were releasing some good news regarding the project, the price of the following altcoins will be pumped.
5145  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 16, 2017, 06:21:03 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Yes of course, you also said it yourself that money is the reason why corruption exists. Greed exists when people see that there is more than what is needed. Greed is the reason why there are many poor people.

Nah, actually not only money that can be corrupted, the same thing happen to gold and any precious things. Greed is nature of human and will always exist until human come to an end (extinct),
Talking about poor people, greed is one factor that make poverty exists, though, the laziness of struggling to get better living is the one main factor of why poverty is still exist, if we can resolve this, the poverty will seem to be decreased eventually, but, it's impossible to vanish the poverty.
5146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinurl is a malware site on: April 16, 2017, 06:16:55 AM
If true, coinurl is partly to blame. I know how easy it is to buy advertising through that service, but they should check that any malware isn't included in any banner.
I suppose they don't have time to check all of their ads or just lazy because it's money coming to them. As I've seen that most of the ads which come from bitcoin-based advertising platform often contain malware and could potentially decrease the daily statistics of unique visitors, it's really a problem for those who primarily offering great service and content for readers. Just enough with shitty pop-up ads which always popping out secretly and really disturbing.
5147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 16, 2017, 06:13:35 AM
If all the nations of the world started using Bitcoin I think the worldwide government will have no choce but to accept Bitcoin. By that time there will be issues if Bitcoin will be the universal currency or not. Also, the valie of Bitcoin might rise to mountain due to it's demand.
Why there's no choice? I guess that if the world started using bitcoin it's might be only for an alternate currency and not for the main currency unfortunately, though, not accepting bitcoin will not affecting the economy that much, or even don't affect at all.
If the government sees that bitcoin could be a threat for them, they simply refuse, that's it.
5148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2017, 11:20:44 PM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
I think no Altcoin can ever replace bitcoin. When bitcoin is on rise, there is a lot of congestion in network and people switch to Alts and that is the main reson their migratinf to Alts but if we solve this network congestion issue,Altcoins will not stand any chance to beat bitcoin.
Asking the real question here, how to solve this network congestion? as I've seen that this problem haven't resolved since many times ago and it's kinda serious problem for bitcoin, but, even if bitcoin having this problem, the users still stay regardless. There's nothing wrong if some people might migrating over alts due to the problem they face in bitcoin, but, what we can do to solve this network congestion issue? I think none.
5149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 15, 2017, 11:32:02 AM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.
This is possible really , Because the advantage of the bitcoin is going increasing and new new ways are generating in the bitcoin to make earning and start business , so no doubt that one day all the nation's will use bitcoin  , and if it will happen then we can estimate that how much the price will jump , Because most of the times price of the bitcoin flutuations fastly but just think what will happen if the whole world will enter in the bitcoin .
Here I will say that just wait for the time and hold bitcoin in your wallet , surely your bitcoin will multiplied by 100 Wink

There's a need to develop more ways to make bitcoin transaction faster, Its really possible that every nation will use it but its also hard to accompanied now a lot of users, due to its demand and lot of users people it might be hard to accommodate all the transaction smoothly.
That's right, as for now bitcoin have its scale problem and struggling to overcome this. What I worried is when many people are joining bitcoin within a short span of time, bitcoin will becoming really slow that will make the transactions get confirmed after waiting few hours, it's not good and probably make bitcoin's image becoming ugly.
With this small percent of people using bitcoin compared to the whole human population around the world, we're already facing some serious problems.
5150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 15, 2017, 11:28:55 AM
Considering a number of bitcoin users and their behaviour which are mostly not so consumptive that majority of bitcoin users are only spending their money for investing or any financial things. They're probably really not attracted to implement bitcoin which is could be definitely wasting their resources and time for nothing, though, most of the online stores which sell such techy things like domain, VPS, and hosting are now starting to accept bitcoin widely.
In my opinion, those store aren't necessarily needed for fulfilling my real life expenses while there's bitcoin debit card existed.
5151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 15, 2017, 08:52:43 AM
Just give em' random combination of numbers and letters if they seem very fool, otherwise, you can use multi-sig. Though, it's kinda rare that people forcing you to hand over the private key instead of forcing you to send your bitcoin to the addresses given by the criminals.
At least, that's what those robbers usually do when they're robbing.
5152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2017, 06:28:05 AM
This can happen. If bitcoin cannot put a solution to scale problems, it will be overthrown by altcoins who have better handle on scaling problems, have faster confirmation time and lower fees. Investors will always choose the better and cheaper means to do business, and if bitcoin cannot provide that, they will surely seek an altcoin who does.
Nah, those altcoins need popularity first to overtake the place of bitcoin. As I see that bitcoin is now really slow if it's about confirmation and really inconveniencing their users, but, the bitcoin users still stay and seem not going to moving out to those altcoins. I honestly really hope that the scaling problem will be resolved immediately as soon as possible.
5153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 15, 2017, 06:16:50 AM
I think the number of bitcoin user is about a million now, But in case of bitcoin address numbers,  Its going to 30 million because of everyday making new bitcoin addresses of users. In my opinion is Like an average of 20,000 bitcoin address created everyday? Just like my case I have 3 bitcoin addresses but different sites holding my bitcoins.
The mass generation of bitcoin addresses is because many sites are generating an address for one-time payment. There's no way to prove the exact amount of bitcoin users and if there is, I suppose it will be hard and need many people to calculate due to the unrevealed identity of every bitcoin's owner. Just never expect the amount of bitcoin users to be really calculated soon or later.
5154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: April 15, 2017, 05:55:05 AM
Bitcoin is definitely better than Paypal. You can't get fucked in the ass with Bitcoin, but you most likely will experience that feeling with Paypal, at least once or even twice in your life.
Yup i totally feel you in terms of freedom bitcoin is the best as they don't ask for id if you receive huge amount of funds. But if you are a buyer i would anyday support paypal even though many escrow are coming up in terms of purchase safety bitcoin can never defeat PayPal.
As far as I know that majority of exchangers are asking ID to be able to receive such huge amount of bitcoin, therefore, your statement is invalid and not based on fact, please mention to me which official exchanger that could be able to receive bitcoin more than 500 BTC in a day without asking ID.
And the reversible transactions in PayPal could really be tricked by some people out there, not really convenient way for us as a buyer.
5155  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 14, 2017, 10:52:28 AM
Dont invest in cloud mining, I never heard happy ending story when people invest in cloud mining, find other place to invest, and if you are confused then just hold on to your coin, finding a legit place to invest is really difficult, by holding your coin you already investing
Well there's no such story that ended happily if it's about cloud mining but there's a tonne interesting story that makes people success when they're joining to earn bitcoin by investing for mining rigs and make their own earning through it.
I don't recommend cloud mining but I do recommend mining.
5156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 14, 2017, 06:57:10 AM

gambling just wasting time and money also, its useless, because we did that on big community and they didn't use the ambling feature
In my opinion that adding gambling and faucet into the site could make the site seems to have less professionalism. Those features are definitely gimmicks and only attract unwanted attention which are those people who owns bot to destroy faucets, therefore it could affect the network and probably make the service slower. Just my 2 cents though, but, I strongly disagree with the addition of those gimmicks.
5157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can't avoid taxes by investing in bitcoin on: April 14, 2017, 06:52:16 AM
actually this is one of the reason why people use bitcoin because of the bitcoin animosity the bitcoin don't pay taxes .,
But even if it don't pay taxes you should be careful in the transaction fees and or the exchange rate..
Bitcoin is popular now days so definitely recommend using bitcoin and earning bitcoin for a good profit..
i think people will even use bitcoin if there is tax on it. i do not think that people are using it because there is no tax on bitcoin to me i think people are using it because there are so many other advantages of bitcoin .
That's right and I know some of my friend who report their earning from bitcoin through their business in crypto world and fine with it, though, the ones who's going to charge you taxes might be confused their asses off and have no idea what it is but if you're explaining to them, they will give alternative ways. People who using bitcoin to avoid taxes is clearly have done similar things because avoid taxes have its punishment.
5158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: April 13, 2017, 10:59:27 PM
Altcoins can increase bitcoins value since it has altcoins thst spread to more people for further exposure that is more than just bitcoin ! Any altcoins user will use bitcoins .
Nah, I think it's wrong that altcoins could really affect the price of bitcoin, maybe those altcoins are using bitcoin as their base comparison. Nowadays many altcoins have been using ethereum for their crowdfunding currency and therefore bitcoin can't really get exposed but some still accept both. altcoins indirectly exposing bitcoin indeed.
5159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is a potential market? on: April 13, 2017, 01:53:27 PM
Like China and Japan, russia is a country with strong economy and so modern science and technology, it is wrong to say that they do not use bitcoin, In their country, it is always growing steadily in the world market, so russia is also a big country of bitcoin. I was waiting for a special day when legacy bitcoin. It will be great.
Well, I'm pretty sure that most of the altcoins developers are coming from Russia, just figured it out from their typical name and yeah it also indicates that Russia is really a potential market for crypto things to grow as many of them have already interested into it. I suppose that the Russian which already here and joining the discussion regarding crypto world also represent their whole country about the interests regarding the crypto world. Just need some little introduction and everything will grow.
5160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 13, 2017, 01:45:18 PM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.

I think with a limited number of bitcoin when it is used in many countries it will make bitcoin prices keep going up. And it is profitable for those who buy bitcoin today. But later in the end will be like currency in general bitcoin prices will be stable, and it certainly makes me as trader cant get big profits. And in the end bitcoin will only be used to pay or buy something, such as money in general. Thank you
The flexibility of bitcoin amount makes bitcoin can be torn apart without limits, and if many people are using bitcoin and make the demands increase, the result is the price pumping and the increasing value of each satoshis, I guess that if every country with all their citizens starting to use bitcoin, satoshi unit will be more often be used to determine how much bitcoin they are currently owning rather than BTC
