4901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 15, 2017, 06:16:50 AM
I think the number of bitcoin user is about a million now, But in case of bitcoin address numbers,  Its going to 30 million because of everyday making new bitcoin addresses of users. In my opinion is Like an average of 20,000 bitcoin address created everyday? Just like my case I have 3 bitcoin addresses but different sites holding my bitcoins.
The mass generation of bitcoin addresses is because many sites are generating an address for one-time payment. There's no way to prove the exact amount of bitcoin users and if there is, I suppose it will be hard and need many people to calculate due to the unrevealed identity of every bitcoin's owner. Just never expect the amount of bitcoin users to be really calculated soon or later.
4902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: April 15, 2017, 05:55:05 AM
Bitcoin is definitely better than Paypal. You can't get fucked in the ass with Bitcoin, but you most likely will experience that feeling with Paypal, at least once or even twice in your life.
Yup i totally feel you in terms of freedom bitcoin is the best as they don't ask for id if you receive huge amount of funds. But if you are a buyer i would anyday support paypal even though many escrow are coming up in terms of purchase safety bitcoin can never defeat PayPal.
As far as I know that majority of exchangers are asking ID to be able to receive such huge amount of bitcoin, therefore, your statement is invalid and not based on fact, please mention to me which official exchanger that could be able to receive bitcoin more than 500 BTC in a day without asking ID.
And the reversible transactions in PayPal could really be tricked by some people out there, not really convenient way for us as a buyer.
4903  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 14, 2017, 10:52:28 AM
Dont invest in cloud mining, I never heard happy ending story when people invest in cloud mining, find other place to invest, and if you are confused then just hold on to your coin, finding a legit place to invest is really difficult, by holding your coin you already investing
Well there's no such story that ended happily if it's about cloud mining but there's a tonne interesting story that makes people success when they're joining to earn bitcoin by investing for mining rigs and make their own earning through it.
I don't recommend cloud mining but I do recommend mining.
4904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 14, 2017, 06:57:10 AM

gambling just wasting time and money also, its useless, because we did that on big community and they didn't use the ambling feature
In my opinion that adding gambling and faucet into the site could make the site seems to have less professionalism. Those features are definitely gimmicks and only attract unwanted attention which are those people who owns bot to destroy faucets, therefore it could affect the network and probably make the service slower. Just my 2 cents though, but, I strongly disagree with the addition of those gimmicks.
4905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can't avoid taxes by investing in bitcoin on: April 14, 2017, 06:52:16 AM
actually this is one of the reason why people use bitcoin because of the bitcoin animosity the bitcoin don't pay taxes .,
But even if it don't pay taxes you should be careful in the transaction fees and or the exchange rate..
Bitcoin is popular now days so definitely recommend using bitcoin and earning bitcoin for a good profit..
i think people will even use bitcoin if there is tax on it. i do not think that people are using it because there is no tax on bitcoin to me i think people are using it because there are so many other advantages of bitcoin .
That's right and I know some of my friend who report their earning from bitcoin through their business in crypto world and fine with it, though, the ones who's going to charge you taxes might be confused their asses off and have no idea what it is but if you're explaining to them, they will give alternative ways. People who using bitcoin to avoid taxes is clearly have done similar things because avoid taxes have its punishment.
4906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: April 13, 2017, 10:59:27 PM
Altcoins can increase bitcoins value since it has altcoins thst spread to more people for further exposure that is more than just bitcoin ! Any altcoins user will use bitcoins .
Nah, I think it's wrong that altcoins could really affect the price of bitcoin, maybe those altcoins are using bitcoin as their base comparison. Nowadays many altcoins have been using ethereum for their crowdfunding currency and therefore bitcoin can't really get exposed but some still accept both. altcoins indirectly exposing bitcoin indeed.
4907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is a potential market? on: April 13, 2017, 01:53:27 PM
Like China and Japan, russia is a country with strong economy and so modern science and technology, it is wrong to say that they do not use bitcoin, In their country, it is always growing steadily in the world market, so russia is also a big country of bitcoin. I was waiting for a special day when legacy bitcoin. It will be great.
Well, I'm pretty sure that most of the altcoins developers are coming from Russia, just figured it out from their typical name and yeah it also indicates that Russia is really a potential market for crypto things to grow as many of them have already interested into it. I suppose that the Russian which already here and joining the discussion regarding crypto world also represent their whole country about the interests regarding the crypto world. Just need some little introduction and everything will grow.
4908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 13, 2017, 01:45:18 PM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.

I think with a limited number of bitcoin when it is used in many countries it will make bitcoin prices keep going up. And it is profitable for those who buy bitcoin today. But later in the end will be like currency in general bitcoin prices will be stable, and it certainly makes me as trader cant get big profits. And in the end bitcoin will only be used to pay or buy something, such as money in general. Thank you
The flexibility of bitcoin amount makes bitcoin can be torn apart without limits, and if many people are using bitcoin and make the demands increase, the result is the price pumping and the increasing value of each satoshis, I guess that if every country with all their citizens starting to use bitcoin, satoshi unit will be more often be used to determine how much bitcoin they are currently owning rather than BTC
4909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 13, 2017, 12:18:47 PM
I used to buy a coffee from time to time with bitcoin.
But I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now, because the fee is so high, if I keep 0.0001 fee like before, it would take days for the transaction to get confirmed, I've got a transaction which took 11 days to get the 1st confirmation last month.
It's not cost-effective any more to buy (I mean both online and buying face to face) thing via bitcoin. And this is why I quit buy coffee with bitcoin.
If I were you,I wouldn't waste my btc on buying a cup of tea.Who knows this cup of coffee will cost me thousands of dollar in future like the 10,000 btc.
Use bitcoin for bigger transaction or better hold it.
Speaking of the matter, he want to spend his bitcoin as normally as it should be, it's normal, you can't consider it's as a waste whereas bitcoin was first made to be a currency for spending and not for investing.
Probably you're right that in the future we might see that bitcoin would skyrocketing its price but still it's a right thing to use your bitcoin for a cup of coffee.
4910  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 13, 2017, 11:44:00 AM
Smartphone really helps the growth bitcoin, because we can see that there is a smartphone everywhere. and with that people can easily access the bitcoin if there is internet connection. You can also have a confirmation easily and fast. and you do not have to wait to be at your desktop to have the sell/buy of items via bitcoins.

It is true that smartphones gradually changed the living of middle and upper class people, but doing all the transactions with only smartphones is far to reality. Even using crypto currencies, you can't get confirmations that fast and could not complete the trade. But trading had become more easy and user friendly with smartphones.
LOL, whether you're using smartphone or computer for your transactions, it's obvious that this thing have nothing to do with the speed of confirmation to be arrived for your transaction, therefore, your statement is invalid.
Just what I'm thinking is that using smartphone is kinda complicated and really stressful compared to when you're making a transaction using computer, just didn't really think of using smartphone for everything in my life.
4911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: April 10, 2017, 07:54:22 AM
Bitcoin is only digital currency right now and I don't see any competition to it at a moment but things may change in future when it may get replaced some new and innovative currency and till it happens enjoy the ride with bitcoins as it will never disappear.
It has competition from many government and security agencies i just hope bitcoin get's equally distributed around the world so that the bitcoin controller china can stop manipulating the price of bitcoin.
Right guys , but here in the online market of the altcoins and coins the bitcoin has really a big competition .
The reason is that the people are going toward the dash , ETH , monero etc like big altcoins Because they are going increasing rapidly in the price value and price . And also the speed of confirmation in the dash is much more fast then in the bitcoin , so here in my opinion the bitcoin needed a big improvement in his network to make more powerful and better to confirm his transactions speedly , so that no one coins or altcoin can jump over the bitcoin .
Please don't talk about dash it was obvious the pump was made and now the currency is badly dumped by the huge investors.
Plus if you see the market cap also of dash reduce and now ripple is on third. I think eth can be the best asa it recently good
a featured on mainstream media
Yeah, the pump is temporary and have high chance of being made by those whales who keeps their money in form of dash and taking advantage of the pump to move out their wealth. That's what happen when things get an instant pump, it will eventually falling down and touch its very deep point of price, can't expect more.
4912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: April 10, 2017, 12:13:11 AM
Bitcoin has been steadily losing market cap dominance, from 90%+ just two years ago to ~80% today.

When it comes to exchange dominance it's just 66.4%.

This trend will probably continue and in a few years there will be people using cryptocurrencies that do not know what bitcoin is.
No chance.Altcoins are just pump and dump coins.Only Bitcoin deserves to be the king of cryptocoins. All altcoins were in need of bitcoins even to show their price value.
Even crypto currency coins also need bitcoin in order for them to have a value. As we can see, all pairs are against bitcoin which stands like a dollar in foreign currency. So like dollar, if U.S. economy's break down, all of countries are affected since it is a majore curency.
But somehow when the price of bitcoin is falling down, those altcoins get pumped so hard that sometimes the value towards bitcoin was changed but the value of the dollar still remain the same. Probably people are moving their money out of the bitcoin in order to save their wealth, that just makes sense, but, it's mean that bitcoin actually can't affect all those crypto coins as a whole when it comes to price fluctuation.
I figured out that majority of people are still considering so hard their altcoins value towards real currency which is Dollar.

4914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Any Banks And Any Other Third Parties on: April 08, 2017, 11:05:56 AM
look at the features of the bitcoin then I am sure that bitcoin is the best at this time.
many things we can do, perform many financial transactions with just a few steps. while the Bank still has some limitations.
To be fair, besides of all those limitations given by the banks, the features they were provided since centuries ago could please their client whereas bitcoin, in my opinion, could only please the minority of them.
Overall, with the bank, you can still perform many financial transactions as much as what bitcoin can do with ease regardless of its limitations, it's at the same time also means that bank actually still above bitcoin based on comparison about its feature regarding financial transactions.
Probably y'all already looked down on bank without even making a fair comparison, thus, blinded by your idealism, though, it's right to defend your idealism as long as it's for the sake of good purpose.
4915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: April 08, 2017, 10:59:58 AM
I think it depends on the user, if they are loyal certainly will have no effect, this time my country also banned bitcoin so I used the exchanger from abroad to buy and sell bitcoin.
Loyalty will eventually fade when the mass banning against bitcoin also carry the regulations which may heavily burden the users or even could drive the bitcoin users into the real prison. Well, if bitcoin is going to be banned by my country, as long as there's no such strict rules against it, I can still improve and secretly using it.
4916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 07, 2017, 10:15:30 AM
Bitcoin is not good or bad it depends in the users who uses it for good or evil.
Dont blame an innocent virtual currency to the cruelty of human beings
Many people will take advantage of bitcoin's decentralized and anonymous feature but bitcoin can be freely use by anyone even if you're good or bad.
Exactly, I have many friends who react bad when they hear "bitcoin", they say its a currency for thieves and criminals, what is total bullshit.

It is like saying that mexican peso is a currency for drug cartels and murderers.
Guess what it is just being used by cartels: and the same thing applies to bitcoin: it may be used for illegal activities however you can use it for buying any product, even a car!

If I would be a terrorist, and I would want to use cryptocurrency as a payment method, my choose would be rather Monero than Bitcoin, it is better for people who want to stay 100% anonymous all the time.
That's a stereotype based on what media said and people near you seem to have been brainwashed by the media easily. You have to choice to whether get the stereotype right by persuading them to learn what is bitcoin which would take so much effort and not easy of course or just ignore them like when you're ignoring bacteria around you.
4917  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: April 06, 2017, 07:57:46 AM
Well of course we will become billionaire, I will enjoy the rest of my life lol, although 1satoshi=$1 likely impossible going to happen if we look at coin supply
There's no guarantee that you'll be keeping your whole bitcoin and save it in the future, and, one more important thing if the transaction fee still stay the same which is average 0.0001 - 0.0005 even if the rate of bitcoin is that high, it'll surely will kill the existence of bitcoin itself by the time due to too costly fee per transaction
4918  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: April 04, 2017, 08:57:56 AM
Can anyone tell me what is the exact definition of going to the moon? Is it $10k or $100k and so on? As everyone will be expecting different price level and no one knows what will be the highest price of bitcoin in future.

I think there is no exact amount to define the term going to the moon.  It is simply an expression that tells all the hopes of a person on the coin.  From my point of view, going to the moons means, increase in price, increase in adoption.  A success in relation to price increase.
That's right, it's a mere expression for the increase of bitcoin's price, people often say that bitcoin is going to the moon when the price is pumped hard, but, never arrived on the moon, LOL.
So, the definition is relative.
4919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to accept Bitcoin as payment method. on: April 04, 2017, 08:41:51 AM
this is the first step for Ripple coin to be accepted in Japan. They aim to adopt ripple, not Bitcoin. But it is a good sight for cryptocurrency in general. After 47 banks agree to use ripple, we are looking forward to seeing more new things happen to this awesome coin
Well, japan is actually adopting ripple's blockchain tech according to some news that I've read means they're only interested in ripple's blockchain system, don't really know about the rest. But, why japan choose to adopt ripple's blockchain instead of bitcoin? they might have seen the disadvantages of bitcoin's blockchain I suppose, it's at the same time means that bitcoin is no better than ripple even though it's the most popular cryptocurrency as for now? any opinion?
4920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is everyone? on: April 03, 2017, 11:42:15 AM
That's why I'm consider that trading altcoin far more riskier compare bitcoin since altcoin provide low value and volatile
Even if there's a rumor that some altcoin may increase it's value, you should sell it as fast as possible
Rumour is rumour and there's no strong reason of believing it but you can just do some further analyzation instead, just wonder why people keep on believing other people's mouth whereas they have secret agenda behind their very movement. Just wake up guys, there's no immortal pumping, everything will have its point of time to be either pumped hard or dumped hard, but honestly, would prefer holding altcoin for short term, just my 2 cents LOL
