4741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 04, 2017, 06:21:06 AM
Well cash will still be better than bitcoin that's because as you said, you work on real life, in fees I think for me the tax are the fees but here in our country they will return some percentage so its okay, you can buy anything with money, for confirmation time I would say if they pay you direct deposit in your bank, for exchange yes there are no risk as long as you don't get holdup by thieves, and yeah everyone knows about money because its the most important thing in this world right now. Bitcoin still has many flows, the exchange rate is not constant so its hard for bitcoin to bit cash.
Yeah I agree there are many situations that compel me to say that the cash is better than the bitcoin. In cash based transaction, you don’t have to wait for the confirmation of the transaction nor do you have to pay any extra charges on the payment transaction unlike the Bitcoin. The bitcoin fees are way high and are increasing more which proves that cash is the better one.
Actually, you don't need to force yourself by blindly using one of the options for every transaction. It's you who have the right to choose based on your needs. You say cash is more benefitable, alright, just use cash then.
And when at some point and circumstance you find out that bitcoin is benefitable, simply use it. No one forbid and you always have the right. So, comparing it based on daily use is actually doesn't really match well.
4742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 04, 2017, 03:05:55 AM
If I'm sending coins to my own wallet this would make sense. Who cares how long it would take to confirm, as long as it's at some point. The issue is when people try to mix coins or they're sending money to someone else they don't pay enough and it really screws things up.
Most of the users are using low fee for sending fund, we do not like to pay for higher fee because we know that there is a traffic in the blockchain even low fees or higher fees it depends on the wallet you are using.
That's bullshit and you're really wrong. The type of wallet doesn't AFFECT the speed of a transaction. It's all the fee which always be the factor of how fast a transaction could be confirmed. Rest assured, when you're using low fee and far below the current recommendation, it doesn't matter whether your wallet is premium or platinum, your transaction will have a big possibilities to be rejected by the network.
4743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: June 02, 2017, 03:21:51 AM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b/4a0b16dd-6783-4dac-9fa0-76e923c9a774

According to this link, a bloomberg news site, it was mentioned that there are two hotels in LAS Vegas that accepts bitcoin as payment for hotels, food and drinks. If you want to visit this place as a tourist or to gamble and you happened to lost your money to gambling you can always use you stored bitcoins to get a room to sleep and relax and enjoy the food and booze.

Fortunately, the hotel accept Bitcoin. As can be seen, they grasp the opportunity of the market while Bitcoin is rising and increasingly popular, investing in it is a wise thing. From there, a new era of money will open up. Think about it, you can go anywhere, buy anything you want without carrying your wallet or cash. You are not afraid of being stolen because it is a false virtual currency. So hotels start accepting Bitcoin as a new step in the trade and tourism.

Besides of those benefits of using Bitcoin, there's also disadvantages. Unfortunately, if you're travelling abroad to some places in 3rd world countries in which the entire region doesn't fully covered by the internet. You can't use your bitcoin. The only option is to use the foreign currency.
2nd point, you may not afraid of being stolen as long as you've backed up your private key and have an additional security in your bitcoin wallet. Otherwise, you'll be struggling to recover your bitcoin and once the bitcoin sent to another wallet which the holder is the stealer himself, you can't do anything.
4744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: June 01, 2017, 12:29:58 PM
yes it will because paypal are very strict they dont support like  gambling site, PTC and traffic exchange site that is why they used bitcoin as payment method. paypal need you to verify account so you can cashout, there is possible that your account will get freeze, thats why many people jump into bitcoin no hassle.
Agree with you mate, i think lot of paypal users are now transferring and used bitcoin for their online transaction. And also more users know that we can easily do earning in bitcoin than paypal. Like me before i always used paypal in every online transaction i made but when i discover bitcoin i am quickly ignore paypal and start using bitcoin.
I think that's not right. The majority of PayPal user as I know don't switch to bitcoin but prefer to use both based on their needs. Maybe you can make earning with bitcoin and more benefits, but still, PayPal have the widest coverage among any other payment processor. Therefore, the majority of people still holding on with PayPal.
For you, it's maybe as easy as flipping hand when talking about switching over services but for someone who has business with these things. It's kinda hard and needs a lot of effort.
4745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is viabtc transaction accelerator really working? on: June 01, 2017, 06:27:57 AM
How does this work if i have bitcoin on electrum?  So i could send btc free of charge with this program with electrum and it sends fast?  When i send btc using electrum, it uses the default fee so it cost to send btc but it sends fast.
it's an accelerator which only makes your transaction get included to block by viabtc freely for a transaction which has under the recommendation fee. It's not a tool that'll make you can send bitcoin freely and fast. It's just to help people, and keep in mind. 0.0001 BTC / KB is required to make your transaction eligible for using this.
One more thing. Electrum has nothing to do with this stuff.
4746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Ecuador on: June 01, 2017, 04:42:54 AM
Do you think that the Ecuador government will freely allow the use of Bitcoin as its popularity increases?
It is difficult to assume that a government will allow users to trade bitcoin if there is a legal ban enforced by the government, either they will be forced to change their decision because they banned something they did not fully understand and in the present situation when more countries are accepting and legalizing bitcoin they should change their opinion and starts regulating rather than rejecting a technology.

Why do people need bitcoin, which governs the government? People want to freely use crypto currency.
There should be no prohibitions on crypto currency, because it is not fair. Every person must decide for himself what currency he can use
Regulation created in order to stabilise a specific region which the government rule. It's right that everyone must have their own freedom towards cryptocurrency and be able to use it. But, if the government themselves have already made a decision regarding of the rules for the sake of the country. There's no point on arguing that thing furthermore.

4748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee on: June 01, 2017, 02:04:42 AM
Can anyone tell which Wallet with lowest transaction fee both desktop and web wallet.

Thanks

There is no PC wallet with lowest fees like that,Online wallets Poloniex just requires 0.0001 for withdrawal, heard coinbase is "free", LBC also takes less fees than the normal.
PC wallets and BC.info offer free fees, you can set it as much as you want (or as less) but of course if you lower it the possibility of getting confirmed plummets.

Poloniex is not a wallet as such it is an Exchange, it is not advisable to use it as a wallet plus all the Exchanges are currently struggling with Support if you should need it due to so many new users signing up.

Coinbase is not free unless the transaction is between Coinbase users, i.e. Coinbase to Coinbase.

Most wallets now give a choice of transaction fee for you to choose from according to the importance of the speed of the transaction.
Just to correct thing. Poloniex requires 0.001 as a fee for withdrawal and not 0.0001. It's right that Poloniex is basically an exchange, and many people have repeatedly said that it's really dangerous to keep your money in exchange for a long time because every exchange has the potential to turns out becoming scam just like Cryptsy. But, if someone is expecting to make a big sized transaction with the lowest fee, using Poloniex can be an alternate option. It doesn't matter how big your transaction is, the fee will always be fixed.

BTC withdrawal transaction fee is actually 0.00010000 at Poloniex but another problem with all the Exchanges and many other centralised services at the moment is that due to the surge in new users there are lengthy backlogs in the support systems should you need them.
Ah, Sorry, I just remembered that 0.001 is Bittrex withdrawal fee. Pretty curious about why there's a huge gap of fee between Bittrex and Poloniex. Maybe Bittrex just trying to minimise the loss caused by the overwhelmingly high fee.
But, a good thing it's also fixed so it's fine.
4749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 01, 2017, 01:48:45 AM
If Bitcoin ever went to $1000, I would be buying every bitcoin I could lay my hands on.

For sure many are going to buy bitcoins by that time but the fact on it is it will not going to happen again. Let's say there is a chance that the price is possible to come back at $1,000 but the chance is very small. With the current total investments on bitcoin and with the adoption that is being done by Japan, the value is really high and it's not going to come back there.

I think $1000 it is possible. Even lower is also possible. And the chance is not very small. Please remember just one week ago the price was $2700 and then fall to nearly $1500 with the panic sell. This does not mean the price will stable at $1000 but. Everything is possible. I accept the chance is relatively low if we compare with 6-8 months ago but still possible
Bitcoin's price going down to lower than $1000 after halving?. There's no hell way. The demands are now increasing because the wide acceptance of bitcoin in which today is increasing significantly. Just if there's some sort of major hack or bad news, it could happen. But, the chance of bitcoin to rise instead of falling is far above.
We're now currently on a stable level because of the recent correction that dumped bitcoin's price so hard. But now, we're heading for another level ($3000).
4750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Copy-Paste Virus For Bitcoin Users -- Beware!!! on: June 01, 2017, 12:30:53 AM
I also experienced this on my laptop, although only 0.01 total losses. but from the events, I learned to be more careful and always checks resetting to 3 times the wallet address we want to transfer funds.

This virus also ever attacks my laptop because I Download software which are offering you free Bitcoins and I need to reinstall windows just to remove the virus. My advice you don't Download any software which are offering you free Bitcoins as this are all hacking.
Nah, that's right. Same goes for downloading cracked software or games. There's always a hidden purpose behind free software especially those which offer free money. And many of the purposes is to steal your data and BTC.
By the time being and until now. I've rarely heard this case anymore. However, there must be someone or some people who're facing this problem but doesn't have the intention to reveal it to public. The best way is to keep your security up to date.

4752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: May 31, 2017, 07:54:11 AM
It is great to see that more and more companies are accepting Bitcoin. However, it won't really affect the price of Bitcoin because Japan already accepts bitcoin as a legal currency. And this small company won't really do much.
It's right that these Japanese Airlines don't give that much affect towards bitcoin. But, it's a sign that the acceptance of bitcoin in Japan as legal tender is known by many companies and it reflects the reality of how the citizens react to the acceptance bitcoin in recent time. Bitcoin is not always about price but how it'll contribute to this world.
As the main purpose which stated by Satoshi himself. Bitcoin was made to be a currency, in this case, the sentence clearly mention that bitcoin is normally used for transaction and not investment. Therefore, this news is really a good thing that makes bitcoin back to its main purpose.
4753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange is best? on: May 30, 2017, 07:38:55 AM
if you want trading with high risk you can trading shitcoin in yobit.net, its fuse trading with gambling. You can gain high profit and lost high profit too
must try Smiley
That is the worst piece of advice you can give to anyone, stay away from shit coins no matter how much profit it can give you at a short time, you never know when you will be the bag holder.
@OP in the past few weeks only bittrex was working fine without any issues while the rest of the sites such as POLO was having a hard time handling the users because of the sudden influx of new users.
Your opinion sounds about to right. It's kinda wasting effort by trading on a site which has higher risk than the rest. Yobit, unfortunately, have had repeatedly said by so many people that it's really fishy.
TBH, there's no way for me to make a trades there. There are so many exchanges out there that give good service, why spending your time and effort in the worst one LOL. doesn't make sense.
but actually, pretty disappointed of few popular exchangers which suddenly have so many newcomers and making the system laggy.
4754  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: May 30, 2017, 07:29:05 AM
The price has been steadily recovering after that short dip that we saw last week. This has been the trend all year and every dip from now on should just be considered as buying opportunities because the price always seems to bounce back stronger each time we see minor corrections. We might even see $3,000 earlier than expected.
Well, I pity those who dump because they panic, now we are back and price is pumping again, I would love to see that price mate, anything as long as increase in value is good in my eyes. I have my investment for long term but if the current price trend will continue to happen, it might be converted into short term because I also have to reward myself.
There's no pity for the weak hands, it's all their decision so. From my opinion, the current price rally indicates that there'll be repeating the price pump in which have happened few weeks ago, thus $3000 is kinda easy to reach.
Though I'm also thinking the same, if the price just pumped so hard that it's reached far above what I expected, I'll just simply sell my bitcoin at that point, no more or less. Even if it may get me feel unpleasant.
4755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: May 30, 2017, 05:31:41 AM
If there are online airlines, if I want to go to japan by using bitcoin as a transaction tool.
Very good news! But it is a small airline which has very few destinations. I hope other airlines catch on.
Even if it is. Still a good thing for the whole community, bigger airlines are always considering the possibilities of benefits they can get by accepting a payment option.
The bigger ones will always wait and seek until a clear regulation coming out, they're not going to take unnecessary risk, but, always seeking for benefit.
4756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: May 30, 2017, 02:52:47 AM
I regret when the first i know about bitcoin that is year 2010 bitcoin worth 50$ only i really regret it. I don't believed on bitcoin that time so that i don't buy bitcoin but now if i can see the price i really feel sad. If that time i buy bitcoin i think this days am millionaire.

Yes even I have made the same mistake for not buying bitcoins at that price even though I was aware about bitcoins but didn't had faith that it will survive or it will go higher in future and if I would have bought bitcoins at that time then I would be holding more then 100 bitcoins at this stage and now its never possible to have 100 btc in wallet.
I think so many regrets happen, especially lately, because they sell the bitcoin they've sold at a price of $ 1000 or less. Well, nobody expected that bitcoin prices would be as high as this, in fact I'm also a bit sorry for having sold my bitcoin at a cheap price.

The fact is I never thought that bitcoin will go this high in future as I know bitcoins since last 3 to 4 years but never wanted to risk my money by investing in it as I had a feeling that bitcoin will be there only for 1 or 2 years and never thought that it would be this valuable in future.
Though, there's no point on regretting that. It's better for us to dedicate our time on earning BTC instead.
And yeah, no one exactly knows how bitcoin can be this valuable especially a guy back then who uses his BTC to buy pizza. Many people have been repeatedly saying that bitcoin will surpass $10,000 in the future and I think it's really possible seeing that today, Bitcoin could reach $2,000 dollar within short time span. while I'm here, confusing with my ass and can't decide whether to hold or sell right now.
4757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins in 2020 on: May 29, 2017, 05:52:09 AM
Is this a question in general on how many altcoins will exist come 2020, are alive at 2020 or if bitcoin suffers a major attack or a flaw surfaces killing it and all alts "Temporarily till a patch is released & applied" ?

i think altcoin will still exist in 2020 or more because for every month, there are many ICO that have been release which offering the best project for the investor and if the projects is really good, then the project can continue and getting placed into the market. so no matter how, altcoin will be exist in 2020 as long as bitcoin is used by the people.

But how many are dead now ? Thousands were made in 2014 alone and only a handful from then still live to this day, same year after year.
Natural selection at its finest. The useless coin will be dead overtime and the useful ones will remain. A few years ago, altcoins often made for a joke and can't survive for a long time, as you can see the result now.
I can say that, alongside with mass coin delisting on popular exchanges, the total amount of dead altcoin far surpasses the total amount surviving coin.
4758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: May 29, 2017, 05:21:44 AM
Know what this is about, and as the man above said, it's called arbitrage.  Get familiar with that word.

I don't do this, personally.  Bitcoin fees and confirmation times would seem to make it impractical.  But I certainly agree that the potential for profit is there.  I'm just not sure how many people actually make money doing it with bitcoin or if it's even possible.
Talking about arbitrage and its connection with the transfer's fee which often people worrying about. It's all always depends on your capital at the end. The majority of exchanges are now using 0.001 BTC as fixed charge for miners' fee, which means, it doesn't matter how big your transactions size are, the amount charged for a fee is fixed. Therefore, if you're trading with rather big capital like 2 BTC or above, it'll not  hurt you, just keep in mind that the price margin is pretty big that could cover up anything. Though, I've figured out the price margin between international exchange is rather big that 0.001 BTC is not going to hurt you that much.
4759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Danm ! What the f*ck is Hapening ? on: May 29, 2017, 04:25:09 AM
Bro just buy bitcoin when it goin down how much it can and sell it when it is goin up.Dont worry that is normal ,bitcoin will not die soon, maybe after 100 years but bitcoin is now very important for all of us.
Talking is easy but not when doing the activity. You say buying when it's down and sell when it's up like some kind of predictable activity but it's actually all wrong. The main problem is when we can sell or buy the specific coin since the price could crazily increase even after you've sold some of them or the price could just drastically dumped even after you buy some of them.
Yeah, Bitcoin is not going to die soon but the problem is that if the price going the opposite of what we've predicted. we lose money. The bitcoin is not going to die, but the traders will have the burden of losing after all.
4760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: May 29, 2017, 01:52:57 AM
Glad to see a project that finally provides alternate energy for the world through the decentralised market with blockchain system. It'll sure attract many interests and make the world better. We're now tired of unrenewable energy sources that result in many disadvantages and the awesome project is right here.

There's his linkedin profile but it would be really better if the escrow will be a respected member of this forum since the promotion is going on here. It would also be better if that guy confirms that he's actually holding funds for escrow since people can just randomly pick someone from Linkedin and then say that the guy is holding the funds. Just my suggestions, though.
Multi-signature escrow would be a great idea for additional security and increase the trusts from the community, however, if the following person has met the requirement of being a good escrow and trustable, there's not going to be a problem. The community itself will make an examination.
