5161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my take on FTX case on: November 12, 2022, 09:48:24 AM
If Binance had come to their bailout as intended maybe there would have been a faster solution but as it stands Binance has backed out and the CEO of FTX Sam Bankman-Fried resigned  with John J. Ray III, a corporate turnaround specialist, taking over as chief executive.. The best thing at the moment is for their customers to calm their nerves and wait for any possible intervention but to be honest no one actually know what to expect and the possibility of getting refunds is slim.

It was a well planned attack from Binance and they never wanted to take over FTX, they just wanted the exchange to collapse to the ground. FTX was their greatest competition and they were taking clients from them so helping FTX was never in the plans of CZ (Binance CEO).
Also it won't have been a wise business decision for Binance exchange to save the day as it would be very hard to build up the trust of users to continue making use of FTX exchange. They lost the trust of their loyal customers and investors that would just move on to other exchanges.
As FTX is no longer in the picture, that means Binance exchange have all the time to win back the customers of FTX that's why they have introduced Proof of Reserved and that's just to trick customers into thinking their exchange is safe for storing of coins but no exchange can be trusted.
5162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 12, 2022, 09:39:38 AM
After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?

That's true, people know that the market can be very volatile and they don't want to take responsibility for the bad results that comes after the decisions they take so they won't mind putting that blame on someone else and when they do profit, they won't even recognize the risk you took for them.
They know investing in altcoins is very risky but yet because of the greed to make quick money, they want to still invest in them. I'll advice you stick to your feeling and don't go against them. Get them to buy Bitcoin or buy Bitcoin for them and tell them to hold.
Don't fall into the pressure of getting them altcoins as if there investment was to go south, you'll be held responsible and you know how family members can be when it comes to money, they'll spread rumors of you leading them to bad investment just to keep them broke.
5163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop justify stealing exchangers Are responseble on: November 12, 2022, 09:20:23 AM
for instance you may decides to hold 1k below in cex while from 2k above could be stored in self custodial wallet because none can predicts hack or stealing from those exchangers, sometimes it could be internal problem which may likely results from their staffs.

I don't think it's recommended to hold any amount on exchange unless those funds are there for trading and they shouldn't be funds you can't afford to lose. Exchanges aren't wallets and shouldn't be used as wallets. It doesn't matter how transparent any exchange claims to be, becuase when the withdrawal pressure comes, I don't think they can handle it.
FTX was the second largest international exchange and anyone would had thought they could handle withdrawal pressure that comes to them but they couldn't. Just like FTX other exchange don't have the money they say they have and when the pressure withdrawal comes knocking they can't handle itnas well.
As big as Binance exchange is, if everyone decide to withdraw, I'm very certain they can't handle the withdrawal pressure that'll come to the exchange as such nobody should use an exchange as a wallet for storing of their cryptocurency.
5164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 12, 2022, 09:06:22 AM
I think the biggest mistake we make in bear market is that we put all our funds in one go to buy digital asset when it starts recovering after crash hoping that market is oversold, and price recovery has started. Unfortunately, this recovery process is short lived and price slides down further and we are not left with any funds to do dollar cost average our portfolio. The best strategy is making buying in at least 3 steps by when you see opportunity on weekly or monthly technical charts.

Same mistake is happening at the moment with FTT (FTX token), it suddenly started recovering few days ago after the collapse it had, which mean people were buying hoping the token would survive but looking at the market now and the token value had drop significantly again.
Same thing also happened with Luna and the market didn't learn from that incident. People have to stand realizing that it isn't wise to catch a falling knife instead wait until it finish falling.
I think the best way to avoid making mistakes in the bear market, is to avoid the market at all cost. Waiting until all the dust has settled could save you alot because you can never be sure of which project is going to collapse next. Nobody would had imagine an exchange like FTX to just vanished.
5165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 12, 2022, 08:49:09 AM
Everyone wants to make money since they had been hearing that traders can make a lots of profits from trading the currency or the crypto market. Trading is very good but the major problem right away is the ability to manage our risks.

Not them only hearing but because of the easy ways to decieve people on the internet, many new users have been exposed to the idea that all traders are making a killing of the market without realizing that most of those screenshot of profits that they see online are fake and those traders they think are succeeding are all lying.
Infact most traders we see on social media living all those luxurious life gets their money from the courses that they're selling instead of the trades that they make.
Trading isn't as easy as people make it sound, if you want to pick a profession from it then you have to be determined and not get distracted by the paid groups and signal people advertise online, stay determined and you could get something from the field.
5166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost today 2000 usd and quit gambling + lesson i learnt on: November 09, 2022, 07:09:46 AM
I don't really understand what you mean by abundant energy but one thing is certain which is the fact that reckless betting is something that isn't advisable and shouldn't be encouraged.
I also wish I had such about of money upto that 2000 to stake a game at a time which implies that I will be very careful and not reckless
$2000 is a lot of money to be toyed with I have also seen people who gamble full time and take it as a source of livelihood and excellently doing well.
No matter what you choose to do in life, always try to learn the rudiments first before thinking of earning a living out of it.
I basically gamble for fun and extra cash is a win for me.
5167  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi is a scam site on: November 08, 2022, 06:02:04 AM
Well, at least give more detailed information regarding this accusation. Include screenshots, chat logs, any information that will prove your side.

Either way, have you contacted them before saying "scam". Try to post on their ANN thread[1] too regarding your issue don't just talk about scam if you want a help.

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279745.2380
I see no reason while someone just wakes up to rubbish the name and reputable of another.
You said you submitted a document and it was rejected, my questions are
1. Did you find out why your documents where rejected?
2. Are you sure of the documents you presented?
After answering this questions then you can go to their ANN thread just as PX-Z suggested.
Most times you might have provided the real document required but maybe you didn't submit it in the required sequence or format and that isn't their fault.
So I think you should provide more proves to what you said, so you can get better assistance from over here. Thanks
5168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 08, 2022, 05:39:25 AM
Sorry all I originally didn't give the name because like I said they have always done right by me and I think they will again now. I just didn't want people to see the name and the post and assume it's a bad place to play because it's been the opposite until now. The site is dragon7.games

I totally understand the need for verification, but I keep seeing different answers in different places. Most say 48hrs, some say a week  some say hours, some say two weeks.

I can tell you this has been the most stressful week of my life thus far lmao. Thanks everyone.
Well i don't know for you, but $128k is a huge amount of money and you shouldn't be toying with it.
Since you've been able to provide the name of the casino, then I think you should provide more evidence like your prove of staking, prove of winning, and possibly the response from the customer service support for proper assistance. And I would advice you to stop spreading your wins as the heart of men are desperately wicked.
If the casino is located in your country, them I would also advice you seek the counsel of your lawyer immediately and let him be aware of the case while pending positive response from the casino.
5169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 08, 2022, 05:17:25 AM
I was just reading some articles on the web and upon every scroll, there was this gambling ad belonging to a casino that just displays, sometimes even covering parts of the text of the article i was reading, then at some point, i began to imagine myself as a gambling addict who is struggling to quit or reduce my gambling habit, and going online and seeing Ads of different kinds from different casinos, would this Ads lure the gambler back into gambling notwithstanding that he or she is trying to stop ?

I personally liken this to some one who is addicted to porn and masturbation, and really wants to stops, but just by scrolling the pages of his Facebook or Instagram account and saw some naked women, which triggers the urge to do it again at that time. Grin

If this continues to happen again and again, do you think such a person will ever leave such a habit?

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

Addiction is a great issue and should be treated as such. Addiction in any form shouldn't be a thing to hide, if you notice  you're getting addicted to something, please seek for counselling.
Addiction is something that has grown to an habit and once something is an habit, it wouldn't be easy to leave such.
Most people actually could get to handle this themselves while the other wouldn't find it easy and if you notice this in someone, try as much as possible to counsel the fellow.

Popped up ads is another great factor that enhances gambling, especially for first timers because the ads that usually pops up most times, are very enticing and captivating and most of the bonuses if not all will be sampled with lots of great wins even jackpots winnings.

Staying off the internet wouldn't help rather a counselor should be hired.
5170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 07, 2022, 01:13:21 PM
Today i was in colombia lost 1.4 million pesos
Even lucky people like me got it wrong sometime

I plan to revenge and withdrawed 1000 usd from my bank to make big bets and beat them.

When i cane back they  closesd he casino they lucky to close before i play again i had all my adrelaine and mood to win and bankrupt them.
Tomorrow i visit them again and take what is mine.

Btw i recover most  on the funds with bc.game today but i want revenge on this casino phyisical casino.

Revenge gambling is one that is very bad and the moment you have revenge at heart when staking a game, there are 85% chances of losing that game because now you'll be staking a game with emotions and most times you should know that our emotions plays alot of tricks on us.
Since you've recovered some of your lose from an online casino, why not take it easy and try to playing for fun when next you go there, who knows you might get excited when leaving and might not have the zeal to leave Columbia no more .
Remember just you can't send a casino bankrupt because I believe they have a maximum payout at a time and they should have the funds ready as well, so die that thoughts and go have some more fun tomorrow while hoping to get your funds back
5171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: show us your stadium visit ⚽🏈🏀🏉⚾🏏🏐🏎 on: November 07, 2022, 06:29:12 AM
This is going to be interesting thread to see and read. I have no picture yet . I think the profile name is somehow going to draw some back to post that way but the user account making the post may serve same purpose. It is good seeing the forum front page.

I'm feeling left out already. This thrend will really be an interesting and exciting one.
The O.P has nice views and I love the fact that also sampled your campaign and also proud of it.
I also want to see more of those pictures and I also hope the locations be included if possible.
I also think it will be nice if it's not just the physical presence visit to a stadium pictures are require but also pictures of how you're watching a current match.
For example, one might be privileged to be at the stadium to post a picture of the stadium for us to see while the other might be streaming same match from a device which doesn't actually make a difference and the both should be allowed and permitted to show where there are watching it from as well.
5172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SOCCER TIPS for the Weekend! on: November 07, 2022, 05:30:49 AM
It will be better if you can provide the odds of each selection and maybe a total odds if you make all into a parlay bet.
Also, once all the bets are settled, you can update your own tip so we can see your statistic.
It is very common thing done by most other tipsters, good stats will make you popular and maybe there will be a chance for you to be paid tipster in the future.
One more thing, we are in November already but you write "10" which refers to October.  Cheesy Cheesy

The thing here is that I'm not looking for the best odds (or, I'm looking for the best odds at different betting operators for this specific bet), rather I'm looking to find the most probable outcome and still make some money out of it, so in a sense, the odds don't matter that much...

The final goal is to increase my Bankroll.
Your games looks really interesting to me and I think those who are in soccer gambling might also find this interesting too.
But I do hope you also take note of the dates as we are already in November but your date stated 10 which implies you were referring to October.
Please try as much as possible to monitor your thread to avoid spams.
While posting this games, I do hope you post the odds as well and also do well to post the outcome as this singular act will increase people's trust in your predictions
5173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 07, 2022, 05:15:05 AM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?

Certainly yes  from the illustration, most times when you want to try out something new, especially with real cash, most persons especially someone like me wouldn't want to try it out with a higher amount even when I'm not on a budget.
$10 deposit is a relatively nice amount for a minimum deposit and $5 is also a nice value for withdrawal, this two figures respectively, would boost the morale of a player to give the game a trial.

Then in cases of someone with a strict budget, then I think it isn't a point of contemplation, as the player would turn back without a second thought and the casino then loses a player too.
So I stand on the ground that both the deposit and withdrawal should be relatively small to accommodate all budget classes too.
5174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEW🔮Zkasino.io | Fully decentralized casino | $10.000 🎁away | 0.6% | NO KYC on: November 07, 2022, 05:05:28 AM
The main problem of this casino is using their own token that we're don't know how the security and it's centralized or decentralized, since they're mention Ethereum network so I assuming it's centralized.

Moreover this casino didn't accept Bitcoin payment, this thread should be moved to Altcoins section.

Not to mention there's few things that this casino still don't have, like terms of service, privacy, etc. It's possible the casino currently doesn't have any rule about KYC, after someone win big amount, the casino will post a KYC rule on their terms of service since they're don't want to pay the winner.
Had to go check them out and obviously you're right. But I just want to believe that, since it's still on testnet then everything will be fixed overtime, and I hope they get to fix the bugs on it and also the popups takes much more time ans possibly delay  or even hinder the bet entry field and should be checkmate

Just as @Plaguedeath has said which I just confirmed that the   casino doesn't have terms of service and also privacy, this is one factors most players might want to look into since you stated that the casino is KYC free, because players like myself wouldn't want to be lured into making deposit and at the end after making a big win be asked to provide KYC or get kicked out.
5175  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 06, 2022, 08:31:03 AM
With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

I really don't see this trend ending anytime soon because people really love talking games and gambling in general.
This forum is a crypto based for  and whatever is crypto based is free and permitted  to be discussed over here, so if we have most of this casinos having a trend over here and also having a signature campaign, then nothing is actually wrong with it and referring to the forum as a gambling forum isn't nice

I don't really think this alt coins might thrive anytime soon because it only did when people haven't had enough knowledge of those coins but that doesn't mean there aren't casinos using alt coins but they aren't much as compared to before.
5176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 06, 2022, 07:25:05 AM
Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?

Most already established businesses. Not just casinos should be doing good.
From my thoughts, most of this casinos especially online and even offlines are striving now because it has turn the only work for the common man. In most developing countries where the inflation rate is very high, and there is scarcity of job, then casinos are the hope of the common man because one can have to play with relatively very little amount of money with expections to win big on those amount played and the rate of gambling lately has really increased rapidly.
5177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com from US with VPN/Proxy without Level 2 Verification? on: November 06, 2022, 07:15:25 AM
Does anyone know how to signup for Stake.com using a VPN/Proxy without having to submit level 2 verification/ID? Is level 2 verification always necessary to deposit?

I was able to play for a couple months by just submitting an invalid picture, it would let me deposit and bet immediately, then 2 days later ask for ID again, rinse and repeat. I got suspended after depositing recently unfortunately.

Since then, my new accounts aren't letting me submit an invalid ID, it just sticks me in withdraw only mode immediately.

You should b glad you also have the option of withdrawing your funds and I don't know why the second thoughts of it is coming.
Go withdraw your funds first which is the right thing to do and also remember that you've gone contraling to the terms and conditions by first using a VPN, so I will suggest you withdraw your funds first and go stick to the terms and conditions.

This time also try to use the right identity to aid and facilitate your verification rather than trying to cut corners.
But most times, I sit and wonder why people shy away from KYC and start running up and down when stocked along the process.
5178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 06, 2022, 07:10:41 AM
This shouldn't be a case to call for alarm, reason being that you have the option of atleast logging in your account and making just one bet in a year.
I see no reason why one should have a funded account and in 365 days, you don't make any use if it, why then was the account created. One if the company even stated that a message will be sent after 3 months of inactivity which is fair enough to me and the penalty for not use it month even after a notification is still fine.
If you no longer want to use the casino, then you should make a withdrawal until you're ready and not store funds.
Most sites will also statebit clear to you that you're not allowed to use your gambling wallet in place of a bank and funds not meant for playing shouldn't b stored and I guess that's the reason for the actions they take.
5179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 06:56:41 AM
Basically I haven't won big to consider it enough to even show it to people as a source of motivation.
But I've been lured on two several occasions to first bet on gambling and secondly went into lottery.
I was first playing a football virtual game and making cool but very little winnings from it.
I wanted it big but was scared not until I saw the winning of man from my neighborhood who won over a 2k dollars with less than $1 as at then and I said to myself that, if others can do this, then I can do it too, but it haven't been easy and I wouldn't boldly say my result have been good enough to present it to people.

And I've also helped predicted a game for someone that almost win but lost after just a game messed the whole ticket up
