Mudah-mudahan bisa upgrade ke versi yang baru :) Sejauh ini Bitcoin Core versi dibawahnya masih bisa saya gunakan dan saya belum mengetahui perihal informasi atau warning untuk tidak lagi menggunakan versi tertentu (versi lawas) sebagaimana beberapa kasus yang pernah terjadi di Electrum lawas. I use such a ledger + electrum 2-of-2 wallet for long term storage. Besides the obvious pros there are a few cons:
1. On the ledger display it is impossible to check the receiving address. Ledger can't check the change address either. There is no such problem with some other hardware wallets.

You cannot check your own receiving address. You just have to create in a file or print out a list of your addresses and check against it. I noticed this too. The following is the statement by ecdsa and SomberNight regarding this matter. you do not sign a message with an address, but with a public key.
There is currently no way in the GUI/CLI to sign/verify a message with a privkey/pubkey; only "with" an address. If someone implements this, it could get merged, most certainly for the CLI. It does not look difficult to do.
BTW, I saw that Electrum has an Android app, would that suffice as the third setup?

Yes, that's normal. Every time you receive Bitcoin, Ledger automatically generates a fresh receive address for each transaction. Your address for Bitcoin and Bitcoin-based crypto assets changes every time you receive a transaction. For other crypto assets (Ethereum, XRP, Stellar, etc.) the address stays the same.
Bitcoin transactions are public information. Addresses should not be re-used for better privacy. Ledger Live automatically generates new addresses using standards (BIP32/BIP39/BIP44) and keeps track of your previous ones. Previous addresses do remain valid, but they don't offer an optimal level of privacy.
Things like this also commonly happen to other hardware wallets, such as Trezor: A fresh address is a newly generated address that has not received any previous transactions. It is recommended to use a fresh address for every transaction, as this benefits user privacy.
