521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIGHTING AGAINST ICO SCAM on: March 16, 2019, 07:15:56 PM
The fight of scam projects in blockchain industry should be intensified.  For over a year, this scam has become a huge problem  to the industry and more reasons why I have supported the government regulations to stop this criminals from killing the the industry.
The more reasons why we have to embrace Security Token Offerings (STOs) before they finally discourage investors generally rather than fighting it.

I really wonder what will be going on through the mind of big investors that has been scammed by this projects, it is really disheartening and I don’t think it is enough to know them from the list OP is trying to compiled through his thread because some might be reported falsely.  If I were to advice most intending investors, stop investing on new ICOs.

If someone is careless and does not accurately research the project, it can also be scammed by the STO. The difference between ICO and STO are legal regulations that will help punish scammers, but it will not stop them from trying to steal investors money.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC SHOULD BE STOPPED FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: March 16, 2019, 06:43:54 PM

In another view, if a bounty hunter has to go through KYC ,then it should be at the start of the bounty, during registration, if accepted or passed, then you go on with the bounty.

I also think that the bounty hunters should be informed that KYC verification will be required before joining the campaign, but if someone is honest and the reward is high enough, then he should not have problems with the verification of documents.

524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is getting green and is improving? on: March 10, 2019, 10:28:58 PM
hopefully it's the good time this time there seems to be a slow but steady growth of the market maybe we are witnessing the beginning of a new bull market...

Let's hope that this is not another bull trap and the trend is really changing. I think that we can definitely say that in about two months. Now we can only keep our fingers crossed.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never sell my Alts for loss: Prefer to take them to the cemetery! on: March 10, 2019, 08:48:41 PM
In my opinion, it is better to sell altcoin with even a small profit than to stay with a coin worth zero, or completely delisted from exchanges, i.e. without the possibility of selling.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain gaming will rock on: March 10, 2019, 08:38:27 PM
There are projects built on blockchain and related to the world of games, for example https://gizer.io/
However, it is a long way to let such corporations as Microsoft or EA get interested in using cryptocurrencies. It seems to me that such large companies do not need a crypto (at least for now), because they can create their own tokens or kind of scores.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING on: March 08, 2019, 11:46:40 PM
I am sure that ICOs will be kicking, but first people must learn how to avoid scammers and how to make good research about dev team, idea and whitepaper. I'm sure that with time this education will come and ICO market will explode with huge number of succeful projects!
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged? on: March 08, 2019, 11:11:45 PM
In order to make such a decision, you should know the details of selling tokens at each of the ICO stages, and basically about the size of bonuses for each of the sales stages.
If the bonus at the first stage is very large, it is very likely that just after listing on the exchange, investors will want to fast get back their money with % of bonus. Usually when bonus is little price drop after listing is also little, or even price is growing. Unfortunatelly, but dumps are usually made by early investors with huge discounts and bonuses.

530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to pay newbie with bitcoin? on: March 03, 2019, 02:17:45 PM
I'm not sure if it will be more easiest but it depends on skills of this person.
You can install wallet on his mobile, and show him how to withdraw fiat money from BTC ATM.
But, also a condition that must be met is to have BTC ATM near.
At least you will pass the paperwork with sending documents to register on Coinbase.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Screwed Up on: March 02, 2019, 06:53:21 PM
I was trying to transfer my Bitcoin and for some reason my Bitcoin was sent to the wrong address, I just started to use bitcoin recently and now i'm suck on how to get my money back. The transaction ID is (0d2ab7e318058c36f10ad06c26b79ebde8ea532551f78d9150759e591a3a674e) and it was sent to this address (bc1qy4jleyqse9jka39296vzn6ykx7hk3mh63zpwvl) which I did not create nor facilitate which confuses me the most. Please help me if possible thanks.

If you have no idea whose address that is, then your device might be infected with malware or virus. There are some of this which changes what you copied into their own wallet address so they get to steal your funds while others records what you type and copy.

By the way I checked the address bc1qy4jleyqse9jka39296vzn6ykx7hk3mh63zpwvl and that it is receiving funds from 4 addresses. Are those all your addresses? Or which one is yours?
And what wallet or exchange where you using and where were you trying to send them?

All 4 of those addresses belong to me, I was using electrum, and I was trying to send the balance to an online market.

It looks like your mobile phone or desktop is infected with a virus that replaces the recipient's address.
To be sure, open your Electrum wallet and see if the address you enter will remain unchanged. If it changes automatically, it means that your device is malware softwear.
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Predicts The Exact Date Of Bitcoin Reaching $1,000,000 on: February 22, 2019, 10:10:01 PM
He not only predicted the exact price of $1,000,000 and the date December 31, 2020, but he also promised that if it did not happen, he would eat his own genitals on TV live.
Here is his tweet about that: https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/887024683379544065
(Actually his first prediction was $500k per 1 BTC, but later he rise it to $1M)
533  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan is launching its own cryptocurrency on: February 22, 2019, 09:41:23 PM
Before they said this they were speaking that Bitcoin and everything related to crypto is fraud, now they say this "Cryptocurrency was supposed to replace banks in the long run".  Never liked the at all but This could influence in current price on market, they are good on what they do after. Or this could be some marketing trick for JPM for there own blockchain platform. As they say it will be backed up with diamond and gold but if will be only for business customers.

Not many lines or articles are online for the moment but hopefully it will be in next few hours or days.

We all know for a long time that JPMorgan lied from the beginning. All banksters hate cryptocurrency, because there is no need for a trusted third party - so banks. JPMorgan are hypocrites who want to create a fake coin - something similar to a ripple, so it will only be their toy for speculation, nothing more.

535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2019 the new 2015? on: February 17, 2019, 11:28:43 AM
I would say 2019 will be a new 2017 as Bitcoin have been stayed between 3000-4000 for a long time, it can be considered as the later period of the bear.

Ok, so I'm going to remember this quote from this legendary poster, and if at the end of 2019 the price isn't close to $100k than I'll know that he's a fucktard. I'm pretty sure right now, but at that point I'll be 100% sure.

We would all want the scenario from 2017 to repeat itself and the bull run came as soon as possible. However, in my opinion this year will be like in 2015, ie a long period of stabilization, and 2017 will be repeated in 2020.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction about BTC price!!! on: February 17, 2019, 11:19:54 AM
Bitcoin will be the future payment in every part of the world., more and more users are diving in into cryptocurrency , this only says that bitcoin has a good future, and the price will go up significantly in the coming years.
You marked a very important topic that Bitcoin will be the future payment system. For digitalization, digital payment method is needed in our world and for this reason, the popularity of Bitcoin is increasing rapidly. Thus the price of Bitcoin will be rising also.

It is the adaptation of Bitcoin in the real world that is the real determinant of the price. The fact that BTC price grew to $20k and then fell so much, it's just speculation. The price will increase naturally with the number of places where Bitcoin will be accepted and with the number of users. So spread the word and watch how charts change to green Smiley
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2019 the new 2015? on: February 16, 2019, 09:45:43 PM
Hopefully, nearing the end of the year bitcoin can make a leap. And even though it's still a possibility, it doesn't hurt I believe, rather than selling it at a low price today.
The next halving is in 2020,so the chances of having bull run in end of this year are not found yet but it may happen like other predictions says.

But I won't compare any year since you can see most unexpected thing at any time.

This is a section of speculation, so everyone who is reading this is aware that predictions are just "loud thinking". If you write that tomorrow BTC price will go up, nobody will buy, just because you wrote that. Here we only say our thoughts on whether this year will be similar to 2015. I think, yes.
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yet another worse scenario a head of BTC on: February 16, 2019, 06:58:54 PM
IMO you are relying too much on tech analysis. Bitcoin is not a Forex and the market is driven by many other factors than pure tech-fundamental analysis. Every whale could break lines in any point and you will be in panic what happens.

The "whale" factor is mainly just a function of low liquidity. There are many volatile, low liquidity markets out there. Bitcoin isn't the only market that trades that way.

When support lines get broken, panic occurs and downtrends are triggered. You make a good case for using TA (so one can identify those times when price will continue falling). Wink

On the cryptocurrency market, technical analysis can be useful only in short periods of time (hours, days). Unfortunately, it does not work if we apply it in longer periods.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: I expect the market to be in green throughout this month. on: February 15, 2019, 02:44:46 PM
When I read  this news three days ago: https://www.rollcall.com/news/congress/the-future-holds-cryptocurrency-based-funds-says-secs-jackson. But since then market reacted a little and everything is now in red today.  I think investors and traders are still waiting for more clearly news to come out before pump the market.

One or even a few positive articles will not change the color on charts from red to green. After such a long period of bear market, the situation will not change in a month. In my opinion, we will have to wait for a minimum of six months to change the trend.
540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction about BTC price!!! on: February 13, 2019, 01:29:16 PM
In the last few years, along with the bitcoin all other altcoins have emerged, I have a good idea about the issue, that is crypto currency really unpredictable. When bitcoin $ 10k thought it was the right price, then it grew two times, and even when bitcoin started to decline, I thought it could not fall below $ 8k. Both of my ideas were wrong. In fact, crypto is not in the position, it's its own speed. So you do not need to think too much or time here. You have to take important decisions in a short time. Smiley

The cryptocurrency market is unpredictable, which is why it is called high risk. I think that we will never be able to predict the exact price due to the complexity of this market. However, we can try to predict some scenarios. For example, at the moment with high probability, we can think that this is the end of the bear market, or it will end soon, so it can be the best moment for long-term purchase.
