It's not a pump it's a genuine growth recovery after the dump.

 I know the idea of getting BC pairs on cryptsy is big right now. Allcrypt jumped at the chance to do this when asked. Maybe taking a look at what pairs might be good there, and trying to add some volume would be a good indicator for other exchanges to follow suit.
 The BC community put up 50BTC in volume on Moolah in around 8 hours so I think it wouldn't be hard to show some support on allcrypt. I know it's hard to get away from the bigger trade volume, but if the volume spreads the price may not be so vulnerable to manipulation.

I just added 8TH/s (SHA) to the Blackcoin Pool. I didn't want to add all of our hashing power on to it yet. Will do a 5 day test and see how it performs. If performing well, will add another 32TH next week. Hope this helps a bit.

Please add consider BC/DOGE, these are the 2 most liquid markets after LTC and BTC. To be able to avoid the high transfer times and deal with the newer and faster altcoins directly, Mintpal has the option to set itself up for significant additional volume.

 I believe it will be well worth your effort.

Blackcoin will rule the world!

one could get the feeling that everyone is just sitting in front of their monitors and waiting for the next takeoff  
hardly anything happening on the exchanges, just creeping up a bit, but....

Still 4th in volume on coinmarketcap even in a timid environment. Most coins would have withered under the dump.

It's a little different from AUR and MZC but yeah investor confidence is probably at an all time low, I expect holding over 9k though, which would be impressive considering the price a month ago.

I can't take this any longer...With all this madness going on right now, I have to step in and say what I gotta say.
First of all, Blackcoin is not crashing...it still is +50% comparing to one week ago.

This is what's happening, and I hate to see this happening:
After BC started to gain some decent volume, a lot of greedy ppl jumped on the blackcoin train without knowing anything about it's background. Ppl bought BC based on the green numbers and the huge trading volume they were seeing.

@ a certain point we almost reached the magical 100K barier, and that's when some big bad shark decided to collect his profits...because he knew he could do it all over again...
This big guy knows, just like I do, that there are many scared fish in the Blackcoin sea, and when he sells of in one time, he will scare them, and force them to panic sell.
Now, you have to know that these little fish swim together in a school...so when one little fish starts to panic, the rest will follow...
So, in no time we took a dive to 50k, 40K, 30K, 20K, 15K.

Because the shark is greedy, and because he wants all the shiny blackcoins from these little fish, he asks his friends to help him to scare the fish even more... He pays them to spread fud in the Blackcoin main topic...Or does the shark didn't know I would notice that 99% of the fud talking nobrainers are newcomers with profiles no older than a few weeks?

They keep on doing this, untill he decides that he collected enough shiny blackcoins for his next round...
When will this happen? No one knows, only the big bad shark himself...

The same thing happened on our way to 10K...many ppl lost their coins to this guy(s).
History will repeat itself on this coin...again we will steadily continue our path to 100K and then, suddenly...boom...110K, 120K, 130K,...

Now, what am I trying to tell you?

1. Never ever buy a coin that you don't know...do your homework, and only buy the coins you really believe in.

2. Never ever sell a coin lower than the price you paid for them...your loss makes someone else richer (the sharks).

3. Everyone is here to make some money, sell your coins when you decide that you made enough out of it, or just keep holding on to them if you really believe in the coin (like I do in BC)...but for gods sake...never ever sell when it's in freefall modus...

4. Read all 984 pages in the Blackcoin main topic, after that you are left with two options

--> option one: you are still not convinced that Blackcoin makes a good shot to become N°2, and who knows even N°1 in the world of cryptocurrencies: Please stay away from Blackcoin, and look for a coin that suits you better.

--> option two: You are convinced that Blackcoin makes a good shot to become N°2, and who knows even N°1 in te world of cryptocurrencies: Please, buy as many Blackcoins as you can @ these ridiculous rates, but only with money that you don't need to live, so you won't be forced to panic sell when we take another dive...

Why is everyone selling?

Thats only true short term. Long term miners will buy the network if they hold less than one year at the current hash rate. if the price cuts lower they will buy half the network in 3 months regardless of dumps or fud

I think it is a good thing. It's behavior is as typical as a stock. I expect the following to happen:

1. It will "bleed" slowly for a couple of days. I expect to see something like 12K-13K there.
That phase is needed in order to evaporate the last parts of the selling pressure. This will
happen on very low volume because the ones that bought in higher than 10K will see
no worth on selling and the buyers are scared to invest huge amounts.

2. Then, it will try again something like 25K. It will go down a bit again (18K-19K ?),
some will go for a quick buck. And then ...

3. Boom, 120K-150K. And ...

... the circle continues. Anyway, this is what I would expect in a stock with value.

But, it is crypto, it is Easter period (all the best to all of you, health and prosperity), so who knows?

I was at the Toronto Bitcoin Expo over the weekend.....I spoke with developers about Blackcoin ATMs launching June 1, 2014.

Fiat to blackcoin baby. There is also rumor that Tim Horton's will be incorporating Coinkite system (which will include blackcoin) in both USA and Canada.

I pray that blackcoin price stays low for the next few months.....I only get paid once per month and I need more blackcoin !!!!

This pump and dump has been good for only one thing, getting people's attention....those who sold at a loss have made a very, very big mistake.
