I think people are pulling out of Blackcoin because the big growth is over and done.
Whitecoin is moving. And PoS ends like what in 3 hrs.
BC lovers say WC sucks, it's nothing but a copy coin.
I'm moving into WC. I hope it copies BC verbatim. 1200 to 50000.

Blackcoin was mentioned.. BC getting notice each & everyday more & more BC is being considered the MOST high profile altcoin to ever be released. Blackcoin is for wealth preservation - high net worth income earners BC is the prestige altcoin of all time. (IMO) Last 30 days sorted by top volume for last 24 hours. I'd say blackcoin is doing pretty well.  |

How about just use blackcointalk? I have to agree. Now is not the time to split up our community. It just not big enough. Why not use blackcointalk or /r/blackcoin? I know I don't want to have to check 3 or 4 websites to get all the latest blackcoin news. to be honest though I mostly just review /r/blackcoin as everything gets posted there sooner or later. |

Is there an updated wallet we need to download? Or does the change take effect with the blockchain synch? It is currenty purely a test, no new protocol just yet. This has to be tested extensively first. Has rat4/anyone else done a press release for this? What were the criticisms (s)he is trying to address and how will the new system differ from the previous one? Edit: If it is a test the press release might be ott, granted. But investors and potential investors will still be curious. We should be making more noise about this if the testing is successful. rat4 improving the the proof of stake algorithm would be a MAJOR bit of news. It's an advancement of cryptocurrency. I also strongly believe a portion of Peercoin investors will gain interest in Blackcoin if we improve upon their protocol. Also nxt holders would be willing to get on the black train. |

That looks absolutely brilliant, nice one Iconic! Thanks... When a wallet is hidden within a image, it camouflages each section in a region of the image. The regions selected to save each bit of the wallet are chosen by performing several calculations with the password entered. The same calculations are performed when recovering the wallet data hidden within the image. You can do some pretty cool stuff with the image after you cloak the wallet. For example: You can move the image to your phone or digital photo frame for safe keeping. No one will ever know it is there. Is the program install or can you just run it solo? having that program on your computer is a dead giveaway that something is afoot. Being able to encrypt the image and delete the program and delete all the cookies of the download would be the most secure. Cookies wouldn't apply in this case, but you are correct. If someone had access to your computer and noticed you had Wallet Cloak, they can then assume some image had a hidden wallet. However, it doesn't matter because it is virtually impossible to recover the wallet. I will explain why... 1. He/she will first have to know which image contained the wallet. Most computers have hundreds or thousands of images stored on their PC. 2. If the person knew what image stored the wallet, then he/she would have to figure out which pixels within the image contains the information to recover the wallet. 3. If the person was able to recover the wallet, then he/she would have to use some kind of brute-force attack to decrypt the wallet. When I have time I am going to cloak a wallet containing $500 worth of BlackCoins , upload the image to the web, and then issue a challenge to decrypt it. Obviously if the person is able to recover the wallet he/she will be $500 richer. That is how confident I am it cannot be cracked easily. Nice challenge ! Not attacking how good the encryption is, and I'm not an expert but I was going for a true cloak. If you have no record of ever having downloaded wallet cloak that would be of greater benefit then having someone find the program and assume there is something hidden. Cloaking to me is the idea that no one would ever know anything is amiss. Same thing about cloaking sensitive files on your hard drive. |

Hi it my first time whit crypt I tryining mininig BlackCoin on http://www.cryptoalts.com/ I got a Hd7970 it sid it give me 2.045Mh/s but on cryptoalts it are under 10 BC in 24hour are that all 100% right and my system are to slw or do I do some thing wrong ? 7970 will only do around .680-.750 MH, the hash rate bounces around quite a bit so its possible it showed 2 mh, but that is not sustainable for more then a few seconds. |

I bought a BlackCard and I have NO Windows product. Why did I but a card you ask SUPPORT....Is there any way though we can get this working on a mac PC ?!?!?!?
Thank you for your purchase and support. I made it very clear on the website and in this forum it is a Windows only product. that's not very hard to fix. u can partition the drive with a mac formatted partition and stick the wallet on it. easy or he could get a real computer...  |

Strong  there is no urgency in bc right now. people are content to hold, but are keeping 1 eye on bc looking for deals. Seems most people are able to keep their value in BC for weeks without much issue. Are we 60 days old yet? lol |

actually around 350-400k was bought in the last 10 minutes or around 100 btc at 25k. that's a very nice pickup and could be a very expensive lesson in patience for the seller |

Who keeps dumping insane amounts of coins? People need to BUY AND HOLD. Stop flash selling. Your ruining your own investment. If you want to make a quick 5-10%, good for you. If you think 5-10% return is enough to celebrate, go ahead. Or, hold onto it, and wait 2 week sand you will be up quite a bit more than 5-10%. Theres only 74 million coins. Im seeing millions of coins dumped each day. If you hold your coins --> less coins on market. With the BC mining pool buying up a few hundred k coins per day, it would litterly take less than a week for your investment to start rising dramatically. Whales + fools  only a few 100k bc is trading each day. and that 100k sell was taken down pretty quick. buyers in no rush, sellers getting impatient. once it moves forward all those super impatient people will panic buy back in. |
