Te reason not to stake is the LOW INTEREST!, the less that you get paid for doing something the less you are gonna do it. With a greater initial POS reward people will be more willing to stake their coins.
On android always stacking will mean It will also drain battery LIFE (Not desireable) so people will shut it down most of the time.
Anyone who keep large amounts of anycoin on android kinda deserves whatever they get. since blackcoin transactions take seconds, just take what you need and go. No need to stake on android. I do the same thing with bitcoin. I never keep large amounts of bitcoin on android even with backups. Little point. Stop trying to make this an issue when its not. |

Not really, no evidence of any "Wall St." investors, just a PRWeb article. The coin is still on a natural upward trend though! The fundamentals are strong, and the people involved are (for the most part) capable  We probably want to keep the number of huge claims about big investors (that end up being nothing) to a minimum, though, so as not to befoul our beloved coin's image... Definitely, it's good to remember that people should need to earn trust before we throw money at them. Thank you for your comments. I have been waiting to see what you would post. I think I have more than earned the trust of this community. 1. I announced the press release and raised money for the project. I used the money exactly the way I said I would. 2. I announced BlackOut Weds and 10 minutes after my announcement the price shot up over 1000 sat. That is a FACT... 3. By Tuesday BlackCoin was trading at over 10,000 on 2 exchanges. This was way before the CoinKite announcement or Multipool buy support. 4. Our press release goes live and the entire community was and still is talking about the release. Even BITCOIN tweeted about BlackCoin. 5. By Afternoon NYC time, buy support was established at multiple levels on Mintpal, and more than 30 BTC was spent just to establish a stable floor. Ask anyone trading and they can confirm this. This has never been done before, who do you think put up all that BTC? It wasn't mysterious magic forum trolls that put up that buy support. 6. After all the news and hype BlackCoin is still trading at an all time high and has not retreated to 8000 which has happened multiple times before. Now sir tell me how wasn't the promotion, hype, or press release a success??? PS: I came through on EVERYTHING I promised and more. I also remember YOU saying you would donate after the press release went live. Lets see YOU follow through.... just do your thing, people will donate or not. Now for anybody wondering what they can do to help BC a very small thing that could be quite productive is:
Ask Cryptsy to add a USD/BC market!
Within the next week they say they are adding USD /BTC/LTC/DOGE/FTC Lets get BC added to that list!
Its just one email!

Hopefully we get +1000, I know Cryptsy normally will add a new coin if they get over 100 emails requesting it; since where already there hopefully only 100 more to get a USD market registered. And remember Cryptsy has made big changes, from what I have read they are the only exchange based in the US (where bitcoin has been declared property, so hopefully property theft should not occur) They have been compliant with the IRS (from there twitter feeds), FinCEN (Cryptsy displays on their front page FinCEN BSA ID: 31000027060819) and followed SEC regulation by listing their shares with a separate entity! From what I read they started filing paperwork back in September, If Mint pal could add USD it would be great but I think we have a much better shot getting listed with Cryptsy when they go live. So take the time and Message Big Vern/ Cryptsy and Lets get a BC/USD pairing! meh... I would take BTC-E over cryptsy anyday |

Just wanted to raise an idea with the group. I really like BLK as a symbol for BlackCoin, and it could be legitimized fairly easily. We have a good precedent in ccTLD's (domain names), where small island nations which were blessed with a useful country code have leveraged their names. I don't think selling ISO currency codes will be nearly as lucrative, but the same principles apply. Finding the right person or group to speak to would be the first challenge, then the ISO. The island is not presently marketing .bl domain names. neat idea, but i think your over thinking this. crypto's have no boarders... lets not limit ourselves. |

I don't think that 40 btc sell is malicious, it might just be there to buy time, its currently the only thing standing in the way of 10k right now.

Iconic, as far as I'm concerned you've been a success. BC has reached 10K on every exchange, except for Mintpal where it hit ~9900. No need to go overboard now or throw some claims around if it doesn't get there today. Look at this positive : ~1000 BTC worth of BC has been exchanged at this price level over the past 36 hours. Than you...However, this is not about it going over 10,000. I want to know why is someone pushing the price down artificially. Everything I said I would do was done. But...A lot of BTC has been spent trying to keep BC from going below 9000 and it should be well above 10,000 now.

mining wont net you many coins, but if you can only mine its better then nothing. that being said. I sold my 6mh rigs and bought more blackcoin last week... I think direct cash investment is worth much more then mining. I still mine with 2x 280x's I have left though Do you wish you could have minded bitcoin or litecoin and gotten 30-40 coins per day? same thing with blackcoin, not sure how it long it will last though. |

Well whoever it is they have a lot of BC to sustain this kind of downward pressure. I made a joke to Soepkip earlier and asked him "who did they piss off"?. There are enough buy walls placed strategically so the price doesn't dip bellow 9000.
I mentioned earlier that even if the top wallet dumped everything the price wouldn't even drop 1000 sats. Last 12 hours summery; Blackcoin rock solid at 9600 sats @ 600+ btc volume. Its not a question of who is selling, its a question of who is buying? |

grimrog, ofc i could be wrong.. but i honestly believe that fac is a small group manippin prices. that being said, the sell walls look pretty thick on that depth chart.
anyway, something i jus remembered. mintpal is awesome and i love them.. i've had my fair share of problems at cryptsy, lost out on a lot of profits due to stuck coins.. but, they are opening up their usd section soon. hell of a chance to get BC/USD with some decent volume if they ever decide to put it up.
FAC's "multipool" is nothing more than a stratum proxy that points to Waffle that maybe took about a whole hour to setup along with the website. That said enough for me. If people want to gamble on FAC, go for it. But BC is the only coin with real development. We've proven it now. We have real pools, good PR, and now CoinKite. And more will come in the future. If you come up with a good idea that can benefit BC, it's community,and cryptos in general (and you are capable of executing it) - BC will fund it, and fund it well. If 20 BTC and 5 BTC worth of investor + supporting exchange money (note, there is no premine for BC so that's 100% on external investors) doesn't convince you, then it's your loss. And feel free to gamble on some other clone + premine or IPO coin that you know won't go anywhere but you'll just hope for the best anyway. Seems that the large holders are constantly re-investing in BC's future, and able to fund large projects, gaining momentum as it goes. More BC wallets get downloaded, better distribution every day. ^^ I forgot to address that comment. The last thing we as a community want to do is take "baby steps". I will repeat...there are new coins launching every hour, and if a coin doesn't keep forward momentum it dies a slow death. Just ask the MintCoin community if you think I am exaggerating. It wasn't baby steps that got us briefly above 10,000 sat and it will not be baby steps that get us to the #1 spot. Agree 100% 3.2 mil marketcap is tiny. Seriously, compared to ltc or btc or any other fiat currency, we are a speck. That being said, once any amount of large investors (talking at least 100k-1 mil at a time) start to get serious about blackcoin this could rocket up to 20 mil or higher market cap in 1-2 trading sessions. There are at least 3 serious investor groups working parallel on blackcoin right now. Those are just the ones I know about and each could bring this coin to 10 mil market cap. Together.... who knows. Blackcoin has all the makings of a coin with massive potential. Nothing holding it back. |
