Threads been rather ... quiet. Im assuming we all migrated to Reddit/BLKTalk
Probably just a Friday night (U.S.) and the market is pretty quiet with no excitement. It might be rather quiet till Monday and the confirmation from the pr team that blackcoin is now a client. till then all I see is accumulation at the 28k level for the last 7 days. |

WOW, Just WOW. Seems you guys are really in it for the money after all. All i see in this so far is Money this, more money that, money=power. Maybe prove yourselves first before asking for money. E.G We are still waiting for the $30K invoice from the PR company that was said would be given to show transparency And since when has foundation had ANYTHING to do with Wall.St - are you now 'officially' bactracking backing it ? Maybe you should have helped to fund that before throwing $15K to a PR firsm that has so far done nada and maybe say they will require even more money  Astro, besides building the main website, the blk foundation website, building the BC Multipool, funding the PR push, doing blackcast and getting trolled for it for no salary... what has Soep and Maarx done for us? Are you really asking this? There comes a point when peoples complaints just make no sense in the face of overwhelming facts for of the contrary. |

nice to have a new moderated thread....just wondering, i never found a clear answer on this, but what was rat4's involvement with CINNI? the gitproject page shows some kind of contribution to CINNI but I haven't been able to find out what that was. I would hope that rat4 would be solely focussed on his BC creation and not some clone competitor...we need new features like Coin Control, update notifications, anonymity (any plans to integrated DarkSend once it's open sourced), colored coins, to name a few)...we need to be the first with some of these features to show that we are serious with supporting this coin.
2 small fixes. I do not think that the CINNI announcements are real, maybe just fake to make the pump easier. There has been zero CINNI-dev-activity since the initial release, and that was a copy with a few parameters changed. so in all likelihood it's a scam like WC and will fall like the others to BC?  If that is the case, i wonder why rat4 would give support to a scamcoin. without active dev support it won't survive. |

Rat4 did the same sort of thing he did for mint. there was some kind of issue with it and he fixed it for them. I don't know the details. In regards to extra features, I don't think its urgently necessary yet. |

Isn't someone working on this? people are welcome to make anything they want with blackcoin, but as an official exchange made by the devs? no thanks, they got enough on their plate as it is. Doesn't matter if it's Dev or not, someone close to the team or in the foundation would be of course be the best the more decentralized the better. The more new people that are developing services for BC the better. currently there is no real need yet to make a BC only market. Altcrypt already has bc markets but they do little volume. Once there is real demand for it (people can make money) then there will be an exchange. Mintpal could add a bc/doge market and I think it would be very successful, but if a brand new exchange did it it would be pointless. I'm kind of frustrated that Mintpal has not yet added this market. There is easily enough demand for both, but I believe they are holding out because they make money as separate markets. However they would be able to make it all back with everyone now using Doge + BC as arbitrage coins. So if you want to push the bc market, email/tweet mintpal ! So sick of bitcoin being so god damn slow. |

TLDR
Litecoin provides no significant advantage over BTC now that scrypt ASIC's are in the wild.
If your not BTC or a POS coin then you will have trouble.
I wouldn't never invest in a POS coin , why would I spend my coins if I could stake them and get more? , POS encourages hording IMO and also gives the rich more coins for doing nothing.There's a reason why Peercoin won't ever be number 2 and it's 24 hour volume is $129,675 compared to litecoin's $2,105,900 I 100% agree. the concept of peercoin is terrible. 10 minute transaction times, waiting 20 days to get stake coins. Its a terrible setup. If your only experience with POS is peercoin then check out blackcoin at some point. 10 sec transaction times coins are available to stake after 8 hours so no need to hoard 1% stake annually no ipo no premine I know I curse bitcoin's 10 minute transaction times. its infuriating some times waiting for btc to confirm. BC confirmed fully within 1-2 minutes. honestly its simple, maybe too simple. You can see my sig so i am little biased, so take this with a grain of salt. |
