Lack of dev updates always leads to price dips. Nothing to worry about.
I still can't fathom the lack of brains from someone both giving cheap coins away and dropping the value of their sale by 20% instantly with a dump like that. Wouldn't take that long to trade your way out at a stable price with a coin like this. Meh, congrats to the buyers of that dump I guess. Maybe more to come. Oh wait I get it, panic chase of blackcoin rally that is already over and drawing in suckers. Hate to be cynical but... It's probably someone who needs the BTC. I hope they aren't getting suckered into the Ether IPO.. Lulz. I'm not in the game to buy ether but I have friends telling me to. Do you have any links/info that discourages buying in? There's already a fork in progress what requires no IPO. I'm not sure why anyone would buy into that bullshit in the first place. Actually I have done it many times in real life. Sadly, the people I know in real life don't have the alts that I need. I have done the same deal many times in real life.
If I am to escrow the BTCs, then there's not much of a risk. I don't need more than 2 BTCs worth, so whoever will be the first will be the only one to take advantage of my offer. I have over 100 BTCs myself, I am sponsored by a well known Poker Site named Betfair and have over half a million in tournament winnings in poker (which isn't my bread and butter). I have many well known friends in the poker community that would vouch for me (which are known world wide).

Hi,
I have been day trading alts since January and have made a bot to do all my work. I am not really interested in investing in any new coins as I already have too much in alts at the moment and not trading some of the more popular is also wasted money.
This is what I am offering anyone interested. If you loan me your coins (I only need about 1-2BTC worth) I will use them to trade and give you 35% of profits from the coins. Yes I understand that there will be a lot of people saying that this is a scam and so on and so forth but I have a lot of backing. In the poker community I have done hundred of thousands of dollars in transactions with a flawless record and am fairly well known. I just do not wish to invest anymore BTCs in alts that I do not know enough about. I have also borrowed with interest (and paid back fully) about 100 BTCs for trading purposes when the volume was about 20x what it is now.

No matter what happens you will get a profit and the profit is normally about 2-3% per day. It varies depending on the volume. No matter what happens the coins will be returned when requested, in full. It's really funny how people yell out scam without knowing anything. I am also ready to escrow the equivalent in BTC to someone we can both agree on. I also don't understand why you say you would make more holding on to the coin? You will be making close to 1% on the coin each day (this is payable in btc, not CLOAK however), so you will have your initial coins plus the profits in btc which you can buy more CLOAK if you wish. Lulz. Listen to yourself. You just walked into a room of strangers, asked for $1200-$1400 dollars and promised to give them a "guaranteed" profit. Everything else looks really good so far. I really like the tabbed markets concept! It makes it a lot easier to trade on multiple markets. Now for someone to buy my Cloak xD
Really? Why do I only see 1 sell order of 1 Cloak and the trading history empty?  It's a new exchange that's been under development for some time now. Looks like they're just starting their marketing efforts. Lots of of potential with a killer roadmap. LazyPay looks like a Bitpay/Coinbase merchant service that's due out when they get their licensing sorted. |

But for myself and other exceptional cloak investors, if anyone is up to speed on the general reaction/responses Cloak has been receiving from the darkweb peoples... would kindly share your theories/thoughts on how well Cloak is being received :]  Would be massively appreciated. The overall reaction has been pretty good. Enough to activate a smear campaign from the competing currencies. I actually found the guy who has been going around spreading FUD on the articles, youtube and reddit. He's basically copy/pasting the same thing everywhere. I don't normally engage in these type of discussions, but since you indicated to be an early DRK investor, I will indulge this one time. I don't condone what any of the "DRK holders" are doing on another thread, there is absolutely no reason to do this. May be a bad apple here and there. However, 100% of the time you can trace it back to the sellers/PnDers/Traders of other "anonymous" coins coming to DRK thread first and riling people up here, because this thread is not moderated. It has been an absolute advertisement for other coins thread and a FUD thread. All this while people are not doing any of their homework and playing with their money, siding with certain camps and generally being idiotic. DRK bashing continues on ALL the anon coin threads. From HERO members, to newbies. I had a chat with Evan before the CN coins came to limelight and he indicated that porting Ring Sigs to DRK would be an easy way as far as transaction privacy was concerned. It would not have taken more than a few days to do it. But he didn't take this route. He had long term plans via Masternodes. To others, obviously do your due diligence but you ain't seen nothing yet. Don't believe in any FUD. People are throwing jargons and marketing like there is no tomorrow, mainly because DRK leads anon market. Exactly. I just wish people would let the technology speak for itself, instead of resorting to gutter trash tactics. Tbh, I wish all promising anon technology success in the future. If PoSa works word of mouth will be the only marketing we would ever need. It would also add enormous amount of trust in the devs and as we all know trust is the most important factor for every currency. See you on the moon  I agree with you that word of mouth will spread Cloak around; However, we'll still need a professional marketing effort to reach people beyond bitcointalk. The whole point of marketing is to spread awareness of a product to the target market. Our efforts will be targeting journalists, not just crypto users. Hiring a professional that is skilled in this area (media distribution) will only increase awareness and accelerate the word of mouth effect. |

This launch wasn't promoted as much as some other coins, but there was a Cloakcoin thread on this forum since the very beginning, and I started mining right away. Just because you and others didn't check the announcements thread often enough to notice does not make it an instamine. Do u guys plan to do anything like a Cloak Docs? P2P encrypted file transmission is really important for privacy protection. And if Cloak platform could integrate a open source ftp client/server into its platform, it'll be a great plus.
With that, we could find a file server with the pub key of the owner and then login and download.

You're in early now. Enjoy the ride. I'm with you in regard to the fact that I'm probably high print on any of the last upward spikes in cloak. Hold with conviction. There are 18 BTC between 'last price' and 150k on cryptsy. That is 18x612=11016K. It's not gonna take much to move the market and besides that, there is not more supply available. We may see a mini-bubble in prices, it just happens sometimes.
Bravo to you all with those 12-18K prints.
OK this means nothing, it also does not take much to tank the price back to 18K. In fact, this is true of many altcoins, and the less liquid they are, the easier it is to move the price, but it still means nothing. Tanking Cloak down to 18k doesn't take much? Lulz. That's easy for you to say. Why don't you give it a try. |
