521  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Glo and it's network wahala on: December 21, 2023, 05:52:04 PM
If you won't mind having more than two networks for your own safety and for the kind of the nature of how you place demands onnthe network efficiency with things you do online, am not making this suggestion for you to have multiple lines in other to use them for illicit activities, this is just only intended on you to have an itchfree connectivity each time you're online or having network challenge with any of the providers you're using, so i will also adopt the same suggestions given by Charles-Tim.
522  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Altcointalk forum go be our second online home? on: December 21, 2023, 05:28:09 PM
In all sincerity, I been just they very discouraged since all this banning of mixers start because the development affect me Wella and now na Christmas period wey person suppose go home tell people say BTC they pay, btt forum dey pay, consistent effort dey pay.
I don try port my account sha, but watin dey burst my head now be say person go need to dey update that Altcoin talk side and this Bitcoin talk forum too. E never too clear how person suppose take manage both, but with new challenges comes new responsibilities and new focus and determination.

Maybe we should always remind ourselves of this that nothing is permanent in life, you can check out back in some ago, we have some set of campaign managers and now today, we have almost different set of people, who knows maybe the following could be something else different from what we expect, ban on mixers from bitcointalk should also be considered as another means of maintaining it's reputation and trust, this is not a home that accommodate any kind of shade for doing attrocities, am not saying mixers are, but what will people say about them here on bitcointalk, we may be the next target on attack if we continue to allow them, my opinion anyways.

524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: December 20, 2023, 06:39:32 PM
I feel curious about being addicted to gambling, then people who play more and more actively even though they keep losing, I was once caught in a circle like this, spending half my savings just to recover my losses, but it was stopped after I realized, currently I only play 1% of my total income and I enjoy it whether I lose or win

Reckless gambling should not comes in immediately we realized a win from the bet we made, if not it will sound on us as if we don't know what we are doing, we have to be a responsible gaamblers wether we are winning or loosing, the conditions attached shouldn't determined wether we are going to be addicted or gamble wreckless or not, we need to make our own personal efforts to give our gambling the self discipline it requires.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 20, 2023, 06:00:00 PM
I can't say specifically on the kind of gambling sports or games that has more addicts, people are the ones thst got addicted to gambling on different kinds of games or sports, addiction is not embedded in any of them but people make the decision of getting addicted from how the have mutual feelings on gambling and how they were being able to conduct themselves into living a disciplined lifestyle while gambling.
526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What faucet do you use daily? on: December 20, 2023, 05:00:26 PM
And how do you get the profit afterwards? I mean what kind of transaction you use to get the assets?
I understand it is peanuts one can get from there.

There are some other means people can make an investment through with cryptocurrency and still earn without going through faucets because they are likely not to be trusted, it is only expected of the newbies to engage on things like this because they wanted to learn and not that the we now rely on them while they are taking our time without having anything to show for it at the end, even if the peanuts are rewarding, some may still have the endurance of earning through them but they are not reliable to that extent.
527  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How to utilize opportunities in bitcoin on: December 20, 2023, 03:55:24 PM
Bitcoin is an opportunity giver, we have the same benefits others are getting from its adoption when we know and understand how to enjoy and tap from same, the first thing required of any bitcoiner is to find time in learning about bitcoin, what we don't know we are likely to fall a victim of its mistake, but when we understand alot about this digital currency, we will be exposed to many advantages in it which are the same opportunities others are seing when they Invested in bitcoin because they are doing everything with a deliberate mind.
Of course we all know that bitcoin is an opportunity giver but then it should be delved into on time otherwise we may not that opportunity to enjoy the increment as others who ventured into it on time.. let say if I had the chance to venture into bitcoin believe me I wouldn't had been in this level maybe the percentage of my holdings could have increased although I am not regretting rather make use of this golden opportunity to increase my holdings.

We cannot mention all the various opportunities that comes with bitcoin enough, but making an investment and holding is one of the unique opportunities many were seeking after because it's profitable enough for them over their asset holdings, we can also be profitable with bitcoin when we learn how to trade, whatever thing we thought about and we are ready to give the demands it requires from us, we are going to have the best of it opportunities as we know what we are doing, having a target on every of our actions.

Snipped

When I checked the time frame from the two posts made, i see that there's no much interval and the funny thing about it was that it was not on thesame board, which could give a suspicious look on wether it was a deliberate and intentional move, you shouldn't be surprised that some people will always think to be smart in their own eye, if this were to be on his alt accounts then we may say it's probably a mistake, if yiu really want to help the OP, just give him a PM, he will got notified and likely make amends, some could as well be drunk while making posts on the forum, thing's like this are very common especially at night when they needed to make post.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: December 19, 2023, 07:46:16 PM
Hello my friends experienced gamblers! I want to tell you about a cool event in my life. Until recently, my entire gambling experience was limited to a few bucks won in online casinos and betting. But recently I visited a real casino in toronto. Although I lost all my money there, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Now I'm saving up for a trip to Las Vegas!

The more you go the bigger the experience you have, but are you really traveling to Las Vegas for gambling purpose or what, I don't still get the intention for your savings and why you're traveling, we can always go after what we want in gambling as long as it's going to be affordable by us, gambling is full of fun and I've heard about some going on a tourist to ensure they have the best satisfaction from it, then they also never mind on what  may cost them along the line while achieving their aim with gambling, so yours shouldn't be exceptional.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one you are good at? on: December 19, 2023, 07:13:52 PM
So, the question is... Which are you better at: selecting the right bet or managing your bankroll?

All, if you're experienced in gambling and also gamble responsibly then there's no need for you to worry about because you always know what's best or good for you, managing your bankroll is another thing one does not need to be taught how to do so except we are not upto task in what we do while gambling.

And, how has it been going so far? Are you profitable or not, and why?

You can ask a question like the reporters, everyone will have something to say concerning this, gambling is not for making profits, but when you are good at what you do and you're satisfied with the pleasure in it, that becomes a profitable thing to you and not until you win or loose.

Every good deeds begins from he mind, when you're determined for it, it will not be that difficult for you to face the challenges that might comes along the way, some don't know that it's their attitude that chase good things away from them, this all begins from the way we handle other's people's things in our control, the way we handles ours as well and what we always have in mind to doing them, they are what brings in favour to us through the manners we have about doing things.
532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin ETF now? on: December 19, 2023, 05:47:53 PM
I want to buy some, I Seems to be almost sold out. Already sold for $4,626,720.67 ($5,059,485 is the maxnum amount).
Let's talk about this.

A new bitcoin ETF is about to get launched already, some are planning to make their investment towards the presale while some are waiting for it to come out to launch, if you're interested in that, take it as your own risk over it, this is altcoins we are talking about and you should know what's involved in making decision for investment on alternate currencies, but if you can't risk it then don't try it, we are a product of what we did yesterday and behold it consequences today, you could make the future decision as well starting from today from what you chose to invest.

534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 18, 2023, 07:27:04 PM
I don't agree that gambling can be used as a reference to measure someone's intelligence. Basically most gambling is based on luck, maybe we can do card analysis and counting but nothing is certain, it's all just probability and luck.

I also don't agree with this and don't think it's right to assume the way we gamble is the measure of how intelligent we are in life, gambling should be done with our personal best of interest, not because we are forced or required to do so, but because we have chosen to gamble and also have access to every entitlements that comes as benefits from being a gambler, luck and skills all works together to determine the expectation we have from it.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 18, 2023, 06:50:38 PM
I am not sure if I understand this correctly but what I have observe if I am not wrong about this one is that this is very common with boxing matches. Promotions wants more audience and money so they fix matches to further raise some profits and if you are placing bets on a specific team or league this means a 50/50 win or loss but most of the time the winning team or the defending champion will suffer a controversial loss just to have a stupid rematch.

Do you actually think that they made the decision on fix matches for boxing, i think this is only common with sports like wrestling and not boxing, while game like soccer doesn't work by this strategy, they can choose to make their promotional efforts through other means but when the spectators knows that they fixes matches base on that purpose, they may not get their target crowd as expected eince they had already known their plight towards fix matches, so all these features aren't applicable on many games than we thought.
536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin market is like other markets, has its cycle. Focus on its cycle! on: December 18, 2023, 04:10:51 PM
Bitcoin market has its cycle and so far, it relates to Bitcoin halving which was set to be triggered after every 210,000 blocks. During each cycle, there are bearish and bullish years and many news will appear in each cycle.

We have to understand the target to each of the bitcoin circles we have, we must know wether it's appropriate time to accumulate, distribute or engage on other phases base on what the time says on what we are planning to do, that is why we have the chart, the history and other helpful resources that can help us track the right stage we are, we could have a strategic speculation as well while maintaining a focus on the pump or dump market season of bitcoin, the market price must be put into consideration here and we can compare them all with previous years to know what's ahead or to be expected.
537  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [ECONOMICS] Which Way Nigeria? on: December 18, 2023, 03:35:30 PM
This nation is all we have, and while politicians allocate billions of taxpayer funds to foreign trips and renovating the residences of the Vice President and the President's Chief of Staff straining the economy. Procter & Gamble, a major consumer goods company, is set to discontinue its ground operations in Nigeria, opting for an import-only business model.

Let's try to say the real thing behind the entire veil covering on what transpired in this kind of situation, first of all, know that P&G is not he only international reputable production company in Nigeria, there are numbers of others, so i don't see ge needs of them taking a leave al because of their on affordability of complying to tax demands, i can remember all goods items in the market are changing in price each day, a good product that is manufactured by P&G is the oral B we all use, this has been once sold at #250 and bow you will have to secure one at #850.

Now the question is, are there other companies making same decision on leaving for same condition of tax payment, there should be more within their inner circles they need to uncover, this was nit to cover up for the government, but there are more other sources of income that the government make use of in nation building other than tax.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 16, 2023, 07:42:05 PM
Accept your losing session and move forward, try not to chase your losses during that session but instead, stop and re-assess your strategy then try to adjust to make it effective and allow you to win and recover little by little.

I still don't understand the way some gamblers could be having a consistent winnings when they are playing than loosing, the more they are after winning they are indirectly chasing after loss and the more they may be loosing again, how has it been easy on having a consistent winnings by gamblers, making money in gambling is beyond what one can plan for, I think it's more of luck than we can put in an efforts for its achievements.

People have to understand the needs to providing source to any information they are bringing here, especially when th case warrant for such, it makes their whole story have meaning when it was referenced, but on the other to end, who cares about moving assets from one wallet to another, how does that move the market or change my personal pause, this is not the first time we will be seeing whales moving coins to and fro.
