521  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowdays how to get wealthy secret on: March 27, 2022, 09:14:02 AM
Can't exactly tell what other traders are up to. There are so many people who are buying and selling cryptocurrencies and I don't think there's any way for you to be able to tell exactly that this is what the majority of the people in the market are doing at a time. Unless you're going to say  that you are buying when the price has faced a huge market correction. Which means that you are buying when the price falls or is at a very low rate. And when it increases you start selling.

And while you are doing this, you still have to be very careful so that you don't make these decisions at the wrong time. Just because there's a slight decrease in price doesn't automatically mean that you start buying. You have to back up your decisions with analysis.
522  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |  1M March Madness prize pool! | VIP | on: March 27, 2022, 07:25:41 AM
Actually you can find out the latest promos from duelbits without having to wait from the email by routinely opening the duelbits website, almost every day I do this even though I do not make bets to check what the latest promos are interesting and in accordance with the funds I have in my account, o it could also be by looking at twitter duelbits, it's unfortunately if miss an interesting promo because you know it too late.
Do not forget social media accounts as well. I have talked about this before but for some reason people do not care about it, social media accounts of the websites always end up with something that is beneficial for you if you keep checking them out.

The best way to make the most out of casinos is to deal with the promotions and all, those are usually places where you could make the most money and they will in return give you extra nudge to get you over that hump and can make you win. Realize the fact that house edges are usually between 1% to 5% and that means all that small extra that you could get, could put the house edge to lower, or even nearly zero.
523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: March 27, 2022, 06:10:55 AM
The "crash" didn't take long, we recovered in a month, all the coins are higher right now, things are looking great. Which means that we should sit back and enjoy the show and learn from our mistakes. If you didn't buy when it crashed, you forgot the eternal truth of investment which is buy low, sell high. When it crashes, you should be buying as much as you can and that is how you make your money.

All the rich investors spend every single dollar they have during the bear markets because they know that bear market is temporary and it will recover and if they invest during bear market, they will be richer during the bull market for sure.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 27, 2022, 05:21:17 AM
There is an opportunity to make Test cricket enjoyable. For this, the ICC has to take some difficult steps. The batting-friendly pitch must be stopped completely. As a result, the match became boring. But what the pitch will look like depends entirely on the home team. Notice, the match between England and West Indies is quite exciting. Only the team that plays well will win.
Now things are very difficult to make Test Cricket as enjoyable, sitting in front of television or in cricket ground for five day match is very hard job specially in Third World countries even now Indians fans are also not coming for test cricket matches just because of this looking to ICC for bringing some changes in not good as they can't do anything with this current system we can expect test cricket will survive for some long time because still we have something in this in few countries.

Fast pitches can bring some better results but still not fair for having some good interest and increase in fans base life is going to be difficult so every one looking for something better which need some good time and with this all it's not possible to watch these matches and have enjoyment.

T10 and T20 is better replacement but still many having no time for them as well, mostly peoples checking just scorecard on apps and having their required updates.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 26, 2022, 08:30:30 PM
It may take a long while. The US and the West won’t stop making Russia experiencing the “worst of the worst” in their economy. Although that each of us are having our opinion regarding the timeline of Russia’s economic recovery, it’s not going to guarantee that the timeline would be accurate. Anything could happen without warning.

The West won’t stop and may impose additional sanctions in the future that would severely impact Russia’s economy even more. That’s what I was thinking. Although now they are accepting BTC as mode of payment for buying Russian oil to “friendly” countries, it’s not enough to make their economy recover soon because the West are going to do whatever it takes to prevent Russia from recovering fast.
I agree that west will try their best (worst?) to make sure that Russia never recovers from this, or have a very hard time trying to recover from it. At the end of the day, if Russia lives through the hell because of it, then it would take them a bit harder to ever try something like this again. Putin is already 70 years old, and this is probably either his last war, or he will just kill us all to keep it going.

It means that we should not be shocked if he ends up attacking with even nuclear weapons one day, but that seems like an unlikely part for the time being, just because he couldn't get Ukraine, he wouldn't fire nuclear weapons as far as I can see.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: March 26, 2022, 03:41:08 PM
Humm, there was a lot of speculation after EOS, TRX was born and many people predicted them to be ETH killers.  However, so far all developments as well as speculative behavior are still standing and intact for the top 1 altcoin market.  The explosion of scalable altcoins in the last 2 years such as Avax, Dot, Luna, BNB shows that they are maturing and evolving but sustainability over time is the constant development that characterizes them competition.  I guess Luna or Avax will have a very good potential to compete and grow like ETH in the future.
The thing about EOS and Tron is that they were both once big, but today they are not anymore and they are not doing that great. I am not saying that they will stay this way but it is clear to me that we are looking at two things that could have been great and had immense potential and just screwed it.

I mean if they were really good, they would have been in the top 5 right now, because they were loved that much and the future looked that great for them. Nowadays, we see ADA without even having a proper smart contract deal above TRON and that should tell you all you need to know about it. If they keep this up, eventually they both will be out of top 100.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: March 26, 2022, 09:28:05 AM
I don’t think so. I think that the government are starting to know that without centralised exchanges that their  power on cryptocurrency community is useless. If the government decides to ban cryptocurrency, and stop centralized exchanges it might affect the market for a short time because mostly people who are newbies in the market will be confused as to how to go about it.

Some people don’t know how to make use of decentralized exchanges, so they tend to go for centralized exchanges like coinbase.com which offers them simplicity. But, as time goes on they will get to learn how decentralized exchanges and wallets works and then they will all get back and the cryptocurrency community will start blooming again while the government is left in the dark.

And the government wouldn’t like to experience such so they will still want centralized exchanges to continue and would want everybody to make use of centralized exchanges so that they will be able to control the crypto-currency market.

I have to say if you are waiting for over 3 months on a place that is wildly talked about as "scam", then maybe it is time to give up?

Erdogan gets paid to defend this place, he has been here for many many months now and that is understandable that he will keep on defending it. You could try to argue against it, but dude literally has a negative trust because of defending here, meaning if he wants to leave here and starts promoting any other place, no other place would take him. This is why he is forced to defend this place to earn money or earn no money at all, those are the only options available for him right now.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: March 26, 2022, 07:07:00 AM
You should know that investing, gambling and trading is somehow the same because you are not sure that you could win the prize, so expect that you could win and you could lose your money.
Yes, trading and gambling can be similar in some ways but when it comes to gambling even after you have developed strategies and analyzed everything it still comes down to how much luck that you have. Gamblers mostly counts on luck and it’s not like trading where you can be able to predict the next move that the market would make and be at least certain about it to an extent. But I'm not trying to disagree with you on that.

Secondly it is very important that people learn to limit their budget when trading. Most people tend to forget that trading is a risky business and if you lose your money it is gone. Unless you are lucky enough and maybe you end up recovering what you have lost. But, what if you are affected in a way that you lost more than half of your money? That is when it becomes a problem, if you also don't have money to spare. So, it is very important that anyone who is trading puts the risk that are involved into consideration.
530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 26, 2022, 06:19:23 AM
Daytraders do not have too much of a choice, when they have a window of a few seconds to make their trades then they cannot hope to make their trade in time if they have to open their wallet, write the amount they want to send, sign the transaction, wait for a confirmation and finally wait for the exchange to acknowledge their deposit to finally be able to make their trade, by the time all of that happened the market has moved so much that most likely the trading opportunity has evaporated already.
This is the true answer. If they are trading, and they have a small chance to achieve what they are trying to achieve, spending extra amount and time to send the money from the wallet to the exchange and then trade, and trade back and send it back again all would be too inefficient.

I do not believe that we should be putting our trading money into anywhere else, if you are a trader then just keep it in the exchange. Hell, I do not trade that much and yet I still keep all my money in Binance, I just trust them more than I trust any wallet, and it is free to use them as a wallet as well, not only it is free, you could even stake or earn interest there as well.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysian Ministry Proposes Legal Tender Of Crypto Currency on: March 26, 2022, 05:35:25 AM
We should support people who change their minds. In the end if we didn't allow people to change their minds then we would have to jail everyone who has ever done something wrong and we do not have enough jails for that in the world. Sure dude had a bad idea, and we did not like it, but right now he is showing how he is involving and seeing the brighter side of the crypto world.

I honestly believe that El Salvador and now even Honduras helped him, plus what happens right now in Ukraine and Russia about the war and how crypto helps them both, showed them that crypto doesn't hold sides, everyone could use it for any purpose and still find help.
I agree. In my nation people and specially politicians didn't like crypto for the longest time up until 2017, from 2008 to 2017 they saw it as a bad thing and banned it. However, during the 2017 pump, things started to change and by 2018 we have it legalized and by today we have it not only legalized but supported and ads all over the television channels for the local exchanges.

From a nation that banned it, to a nation that has 1.5+ million users daily, and this is not the total user amount, this is literally the amount of people who bought or sold crypto in a single day on average. So, it is good that politicians could change their minds.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and usdt people trust on: March 25, 2022, 09:55:34 PM
This is actually a very frightening thing, it becomes even scarier when you realize that USDT is controlled by just one exchange and it is responsible solely for maintaining its value, which means if someday something happens to that very exchange your USDT loses its value. And it's absolutely true that 70-80% of all the wealth of almost all the traders is kept in such stablecoins, which means one shock in such coins is enough to shake all your wealth, I remember such a thing happening a few years back when bitcoin jumped by almost 3000$ from 7k to around 9k after there was a news regarding some abnormality with USDT.
This has been the case for USDT ever since it was created, and yet people still invested heavily into it for some reason. Same goes for USDC and BUSD as well, one exchange is behind both of them (coinbase and binance) and that means if we are talking about stablecoins, we are talking about three big exchanges that are behind 150+ billion dollars worth of stablecoins total.

This is why it is very very scary to us that 3 exchanges could literally ruin all of crypto world. I am not saying that they will, why would they, they are making a lot of profit from them so they won't but the fact that they even "could" do that is scary enough for me.
533  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 🦉 DRAKE x STAKE 🥩 - Watford FC & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 25, 2022, 09:12:29 PM
Its a game you could discuss with anyone doing maths as their major pretty sure, all gambling has a relation to probability studies imo.
man for me it's more like a game of luck, see in my case when I play plinko I start to lose a lot and then when my balance is almost gone, something like $0.01 I start to have wins and losses, and I keep playing even with this low bankroll, and then I try the luck to put that option of 2X and I can win and the balance goes to $0.21 and I keep playing until I lose. I don't seem to have much luck but I keep playing for fun and also to relieve stress
The release of stress is the main reason why we all gamble, it is certainly one of the better methods to release stress. I gamble a lot on dice even after we switched over from primedice to stake years ago (well primedice is still there if you want to gamble) because that's what I got into when I first started gambling in crypto.

I do gamble sports, and I do gamble some slots but in the end I always get back to dice games for sure. And I have to say I probably lost around a few thousand dollars in total over 5+ year period, that's like 200k+ by now when you consider the increase in BTC price. However, I always say that it's small amount when you divide it per day, and I had that much fun to make it worth it.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How has trading been for you during this Ukraine and Russia war on: March 25, 2022, 06:44:39 PM
As we can see no, bitcoin price showed a resistance then it seems to have a correction again, it is very hard to tell about the situation where bitcoin price headed at.
That is true, nobody know if bitcoin price will rise or fall this time but I do not see any effect the war is having yet, all just seem like how bitcoin should be even if there is no war at all, we all expect corrections this year and it is happening. Bitcoin price rose to $43000 again today, but that does not yet mean the price will not decrease again. But I know that with 2x correction, people can buy bitcoin, but only people that want to hold for long time.
Everyone likes to buy btc when it's cheap and not all of them are long time holders but 2x correction looks pretty brutal if we are at 60k last time and price corrected at 30k, that's only 1x correction so if it's 2x, the price will nearly go down to zero? damn. I am not sure if that can cause for people to panic buy or maybe they are going to panic literally thinking that it's now the end of bitcoin.

People have different sentiments about the war, some say wars affect the prices of the coins while others say it didn't. If you believe that wars are nothing against the price then you can trade normally. It's always better to trade with a peaceful mind.
535  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin at $1 000 000 by 2030 on: March 25, 2022, 05:25:35 PM
Of course this is a realistic price, 2030 or 8 more years there will be a lot of big surprises, if the price of Bitcoin 8 years ago is under $ 100 and now around $ 40K means there is a 400x increase, and to reach a price of $ 1 million only needs a 25x increase and is very possible happens, even I'm optimistic that the price of $ 1 million can be reached more than 5 years.
Bitcoin 8 years ago was not as well-known as it is now, let alone recognized as a currency by a country but now it is different and what will happen in the next 8 years? surely half the world already invested in Bitcoin. there's really nothing we're after, I'd rather see the price of Bitcoin slowly rising to $ 1 million than too fast (under 6 years).
The approach in the big nations changed as well. Plenty of big nations either banned it or did not have any laws about it. Today we have Coinbase, which is one of the biggest exchanges in the entire world, being listed on stock market of the USA, which is a big big move. People forgot about that, and did not realize how big of a deal that is.

When a company dealing in crypto gets listed in the USA stock market, that is the biggest proof you need that crypto is as legal as it gets and can't get any more legal than that. And this happened in the USA, one of the if not the richest nation in the world. So do not assume anything will go badly, it will definitely go greatly.
536  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|✍️Signature Campaign|🎰Boosted DailyBattle x10📈 BFG on BabySwap on: March 25, 2022, 08:25:22 AM
snip
Yes, staking BFG tokens at Betfury can also be done for investors. I've never used Babswap and maybe I'm not that interested right now because it would cost me more money to buy Baby tokens.
If you keep on staking BFG, that means you are getting more and more interest towards something that has utility. That is why people keep doing that. I am not saying that you are guaranteed to make an income from it, obviously you could lose money as well.

But, between making money from dividends, or staking, or keep using it where people end up spending it, we are talking about something that at least has some ties to real usage and that is very important in crypto. We are filled with so many terrible tokens that have absolutely no usage aside from just swapping that people are fine with biswap, babyswap or whatever else swap they could find to do BFG staking.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 24, 2022, 09:44:29 PM
Isn't it so weird to see Barcelona this way. They were always a great team and nobody even imagined seeing them in the europa, everyone expected them to be out of the group stage in UCL, but with Koeman they became so bad that they really had to change so much, they are still in big financial trouble and even though they were given 70-80 or something million salary budget, they are spending 100+ million more than that.

But at the end of the day, this team recovered so amazingly, beating everyone with 4 goals so frequently that right now we are feeling like watching the old Barcelona aren't we? I mean I certainly am getting the same feeling right now.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 24, 2022, 06:18:35 PM
Congratulations to Bangladesh. But at the same time, I am appalled at the horrific state of cricket in South Africa. How can they lose like this? It was a completely lopsided match, with Bangladesh winning by 9 wickets (24 overs to spare). Those who have been around for a while would remember that South Africa was the strongest cricketing nation during the 1990s. They were the favorites to win the 1999 World Cup (in which they lost the semi-finals). I guess two decades of quota policy and the installation of a quota product as the captain has completely destroyed them.
It is the worst time for South African cricket that they are losing ODI series against Bangladesh, specially losing this last ODI by 9 wickets and 24 overs spare at home is surely one of there the worst performance in recent years. We all know how strong was South Africa few years back but now suddenly just because of internal politics and decisions which are coming just because of personal egos are hurting them very badly.

Their domestic set up is also having not good system which can bring some good and quality players because recently we have mostly average players coming which are mostly coming just because of colour without any merit is also having not good impact hopefully they will take this as wake-up call and now try to settle things in positive for Test Series.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2022, 03:59:44 PM
I am in agreement with you. So often I hear people using the phrase “HODL”, which I of course think just like with any money that you should “stack” it, but money is also meant to be used to purchase goods and services and I think this is another way to garner mass adoption.
We can stack money but its value can decline. It doesn't make sense to stack it but why not stack btc instead? because btc value cant depreciate but it only can become valuable in the long run and of course we shall spend our btc too sometimes because this is the true meaning of btc for spending but is there a hodler that hodl's forever and for what purpose they are doing it? there is some point of their lives that they will decide to sell their btc for profit or spend them on some item directly.

Spending btc can indeed help the adoption because others will get curious if you use your btc to buy stuff and they will use btc too later on but first we need to wait for our country to make btc as a legal tender.
540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 24, 2022, 03:00:21 PM
As for the distribution of the Rollbots throughout the entire sports available on the site, it hasnt been decided yet because Rollbit currently is making a poll for the most popular sports according to their community
Those figures should have been available before they launched it but it's still not late to ask. Where is the poll? Soccer/Football would likely get most of the Rollbots.
The sad thing about betting and the real sports is that the amount watched and the amount wagered is not the same. For example, you could have tennis being watched less than X sport, but wagered a lot more. I do not know why, I do not understand how that works, but I know that people like to wager a lot more on tennis than some of the other sports that end up getting watched. Same goes for volleyball as well, gets a lot more wagering.

The rank of "most watched sports" vs "most wagered sports" is not the same. This results with polling not to be correct at all times, it results with people picking what they watch, instead of what they wager.
