1481  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: November 28, 2019, 04:53:45 PM
Are you sure about cashless society? Do you think that having a digital version of the currencies we are using today will stop the use of paper money? It's not going to happen like that. You need to do your research properly. Digital money is only going to make transactions easier, we won't be making use of long processes to send money abroad, that's the reason for digital money. When you have a digital money you can then redeem it for the real one in banks.

JP Morgan Chase have already created a prototype cryptocurrency, you should check out their website to know more about it. If that turns out to be a success other Banks will do the same. I believe that as time goes on and we begin to have digital currencies there will be special wallets dedicated to it, other online payment processing companies like PayPal might be part of it in building a wallet that will allow users to receive the crypto version of every currency and then redeem it to their bank.
1482  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betroar.io – Try Bit Brawlers! 💰 UPDATE 11/26: .001 BTC Airdrops Extended! 💰 on: November 28, 2019, 04:10:12 PM
These kind of stuff happens. For example, on dice websites there is an epidemic of "slow withdrawals" just because there were some people who wanted to use the double spend method to make money, they would not lose any money because before the transaction happens they simply send it somewhere else and that would end with them not losing any money, at the of the day if they win they win but never lose.

So, all dice websites forcefully went to manual withdrawal to check every single one of the withdrawals instead of the old automatic ones. Now, that is just the problem of the dice websites, for example freebitcoin is dealing with faucet abusers as well, casinos have a lot of people who try to abuse and destroy and even bankrupt them so its totally understandable.
1483  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: November 28, 2019, 03:37:14 PM
My suggestion to attract new players would be hosting a wagering contest with slightly changed rules, eg. a "christmas special". The rules would be as follows:
- Windice picks a number between 0.1 and 3 BTC, eg. "2,214321" keeps it a secret until the end of the contest
- Every player has to wager the amount he or she thinks is closest to the picked number.
- The number picked is revealed at the end of the contest and the Top 10 players who wagered amounts nearest to that number are rewarded

This variation has the advantage that anyone can win, from a small fish to a big whale. Winning the contest doesnt depend on how big your stack is but how lucky you are and how close your bet is to the secretly picked number.
I doubt that this idea will ever become real and it should not be even tested if you ask me. Yet if you want to actually know how we could potentially turn it into a provably fair one, you could pick a block after the contest ends and do it that way with the seed and all? I mean everyone plays from day A to day B and when it is over on Day B we wait and after that on Day C we get a block and a seed and see the result depending on that.

Hence, you can do this weird contest which I still think should not be done could still be done with provably fair method without giving any power to anyone. I am not entirely sure if that is the only method but it is at least one method that could stir up some more attention and get this website back to those 10+ btc days unless they want to just stay still.
1484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bizarre crash! What cause bitcoin crash?? on: November 27, 2019, 04:04:06 PM
Its second major crash in 3 days going below $7000. What you guys think what cause bitcoin crash because i think uncertainty  of market makes bitcoin crash. I think many of investors should holding there coins and hoping for the best because bitcoin is a fighter and somehow manage to came back at number 1. What you guys thinking about this?
You can't really tell what is causing the price of Bitcoin to fall. But, mainly it has always been supply and demand. Most people believe that when the price of Bitcoin is low then it means that there is a lesser demand for it than there is to supply - when there is an increased demand for it the price will go up as well. There are lots of people that are trading Bitcoin every day, so anything can happen at anytime, there are times supply can get higher than demand.

There are other factors that can influence the price of Bitcoin - like regulatory changes, a decision that is made by the government. Next is political events and the media. Explaining all these is another long story, would be better for you to do your research on it.
1485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving a catalyst for a Bitcoin price bubble? on: November 27, 2019, 12:32:21 PM
I'm thinking maybe the decrease that we are seeing right now is due to the halving that is coming. After the halving there will still be another decrease and that's for sure, but the question is when will the bull run be, is it going to be after the halving or before the halving?

I have seen a lot of price predictions by experts, some of them claimed that there will be an increase this year and this year is coming to an end and the price is still down to $7000 plus and still showing signs of decreasing. Halving is still far though, around May 2020, so does that mean there is a chance that bull run will take place before the halving? Maybe the price will go up and after the halving it will go down again. Best thing is just to keep on holding, if you can.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal CEO Is a HODLr, but Only Owns Bitcoin on: November 27, 2019, 10:12:34 AM
Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency, and right now the only cryptocurrency I am holding is also Bitcoin. I stopped holding cryptocurrencies, I don't see the need for them, I don't gain much from them and sometimes I gain nothing, and I don't even use them for transaction, so I have decided to just stick to bitcoin for now, though after 2017 I was looking into buying Litecoin, not sure about that yet.

But I don't think PayPal will agree to add Bitcoin to their app. That their CEO is investing in it doesn't mean that they are going to add it, they might feel it's not fit for their business. Their CEO is not the only one that makes a decision, it's something the executives discuss and I know for sure that some of them won't be in support of it. Anyway, it doesn't even matter, whether they add it or not, Bitcoin always grow.
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would one pay $7K for Bitcoin if he/she can get the same thing for $0.001? on: November 27, 2019, 08:28:32 AM
When you have a company and that grows to become a big name in the industry, people would prefer your product more than others even if they are offering something better than what you have. I think people are into buying names and not products lol.

It's just like social media like Facebook: I see a lot of people that complain about Facebook having bad security and selling users information, but these people continue to make use of Facebook despite all those claims, does that mean that there are no other social platforms that are better than Facebook? Well, you can answer that.

So, that's how it is when it comes to cryptocurrency. Yes, I have seen a lot of altcoins that claims to be better than Bitcoin and do what it does better and for half the price you will pay when making use of Bitcoin for transactions. Some of them claim to be faster, while other claims to have better privacy and security. But people don't care about all that, all they know is that Bitcoin has already made a name for itself and it is safe, they don't have any problem using it, any other crypto claiming to offer something better is just wasting time.
1488  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: November 27, 2019, 07:48:04 AM
Maybe signature campaigns are just "that" and nothing more. It only makes people remember you exist and that is how you stay afloat. When you do signature campaign and get new people that is good but when you stop it that means you are leaking customers, there will be more people going out compared to coming it.

However, when you keep doing signature campaigns that may equal to actually making people comeback as well, they might have left for any reason at all and eventually after gambling in other places as well they might think "maybe I should give it another chance" and comeback. Signature campaigns basically keep making see your name over and over again and when you have like a contest or a promotion etc you could showcase that which would make them comeback even faster.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 26, 2019, 11:51:00 AM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
Stopping gambling at wish must be a good sign but that does not mean that you can gamble as much as you are able to. I mean there should be some limit even you have full control over your gambling and control on stopping it at wish. When you gamble unlimited, you may start losing your control on yoru gambling activities. That is a dangerous one, you may remain a disciplined gambler only when you gamble limited.

most people, when they reach the intermediate goal, continue to play until they lose everything. Therefore, you need to choose the right time to get out of the game without loss.
How to choose the right time is the million dollar question. If you are able to reach your intermediate target then why not continue until your final-target? A control on stopping is possible for every gambler but they do not know what is happening next so they lose. If I know I will lose all my bankroll on 25th bet then I will stop on 24th Grin.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The Worlds First CryptoCurrency ! What does this mean for Bitcoin now ? on: November 26, 2019, 08:24:11 AM
Sorry, Bitcoin is different from all those things that you have mentioned here.. Being the first cryptocurrency gives Bitcoin more advantage over other cryptocurrencies in the market. If you check, investors are always interested in Bitcoin more than altcoins. A lot of people these days don't even trust altcoins, they only trust Bitcoin because it's the first cryptocurrency. Most altcoins that are created ends up not succeeding at last. And lastly, there are people who will at some point, withdraw their investment from altcoins and invest them in bitcoin.

So, there are lots of advantages to Bitcoin being the first cryptocurrency. It's less likely to die off like other cryptos. And the way I see it, it might not.

When you say Bitcoin is backed by nothing do you understand what that really means? Something that is backed by nothing cannot be reliable nor trusted. Bitcoin is backed by the people, investors, traders, its unique features, online assets etc.
Very soon when institutions starts to invest their money in Bitcoin it will start to grow and will be backed heavily. Though there are people who are against having institutions involved in Bitcoin. For now, it's the people that are backing it.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A whale transfers $310 millions worth bitcoins for a ridiculously low fee!!! on: November 25, 2019, 08:29:09 PM
That's the good thing about cryptocurrency. I don't think banks will be able to do that. When you're making a huge transfer that is an international transfer, the bank will charge you their own fee, and since the bank is not the only agent that is carrying out the transfer there are other fees that are being added maybe for the government and others like Western Union and all that, depending on what you choose to use.

That is why Bitcoin is the best option when it comes to international transfer. I believe that if the same whale tried to transfer that amount using bank he's going to face a lot of difficulties and some screening? I guess. But with Bitcoin, he's in complete control and will only be paying the fees for the miners, no stress and the transfer is done already.

Lately, I have been making use of Bitcoin when I want to send money to friends abroad, they receive it that same minute and they sell it and get the money in their bank account immediately. But imagine when I used to make use of banks lol, I would leave my house and go to bank early in the morning around 8 or 9AM and start filling some paperwork and then wait for days for them to receive the money.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 25, 2019, 07:44:21 PM
That seems like a manipulation. With the bear market that most altcoin is now, I dint think that you should be expecting any altcoin to actually do you 2x too now, except maybe you could be lucky now that we are approaching the altcoin season which we still don’t know if it will happen within the next 1 year or it will still extend after one year no one knows, we are only expecting and speculating without full assurance that it will occur by then, but if I am to advise you to risk any altcoin for now, it would be for you to just strictly hold altcoins that are within the top 10 coins in the market, while you should try as possible to make bitcoin your sole coin for the year as this is the only one that I can guarantee you that will actually do you that 2x to 5x within the next year now that the value still look cheap and quite very affordable.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 25, 2019, 05:48:23 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
You shouldn't do things based on your friends' point of view, the question should be whether you yourself are benefiting from it and whether the projects you have been promoting all this while is bringing in enough profit.

There are still a lot of good projects that are being successful and more are still joining the community every time. Your friends have tried and it didn't work out for them and they want to make you quit with them, that's not right. Whether you want to quit or not should be a decision you make for yourself and not them. So keep working hard, and be checking out tips that will help you know the best projects, in case you don't know any.
1494  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | Sportsbook Launches November! 👽 on: November 24, 2019, 04:31:05 AM
Do we know if there will be esports in the sportsbook part of the website when it releases? I know there are some people who are using the sportsbook part right now (the VIP people) if any of you could check and tell us if there is any esports that would be lovely, it would be even better if you could check which games and tourneys there are, right now there are not any worldwide huge ones going on as far as I know anytime soon but there are some Asian majors going on, if anyone could check those and tell us which games and tourneys there are it would be very cool. Also symph is here and if you know the answer you could check and let us know as well, or you can even get a picture from the website in BETA and send us a whole picture of the esports part if there is one, that would be super awesome.
1495  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 23, 2019, 05:37:06 PM
I would have totally understood that type of statement if the place was a brand new place, yet when you have literally hundreds of bitcoins lost in gambling here (investors took a huge hit time to time but overall we are in profit in long term) you do know that there are tons of people who do gamble with a ton of money and also win, how do we know?

Because, we are investors and we do realize when our money gets lower as investors. That is why there is literally no reason to think that "when someone gambles big, game is under 1.5" because there is literally no proof of that happening preferably. Its a regular gamble where the odds are there and you gamble knowingly and that's it, sure crash is a bit weird because you do not realize the house edge but in the end its provably fair.
I believe it is not about someone betting more or less that the result will be low or high. The reality is that when I gamble the game will end quickly and if I stop the game will go x100+ Cheesy. We all have that gamblers fallacy and I have faced many times that whenever I made some profits from investment part and want to get it back (the interest lets say) and play with it and just go either all-in or just small time couple times in a row, I end up losing and suddenly I see the investment going down as well because someone won a huge amount after me.

It is really a kick in the guy because you see someone else betting and making a ton of money when you just lost but that is gamblers fallacy, you could potentially win a lot as well but you just happen to not because those are the odds.
1496  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 23, 2019, 04:07:48 PM

It is ruled out, "Russia is a country of democracy and fair elections."
There is a joke on this subject, I don’t know how Google translator will translate it, but I will try.
Sailing in a boat after a shipwreck - Putin, Obama and Merkel.
Well, let's argue who should work the oars. Well Obama says: "I am the president of the best country in the world, I will not row oars"
Merkel says: "I am a woman, and Kansler is the best country in the world."
Putin: "Let's vote."
The picture is changing, and Obama and Merkel are working the oars.
Obama asks: "How did it happen that three of us are floating in the boat, and four have voted for him?" Grin Grin
You may find Russian politics like that and it is true but do you really think it is not correct for other nations? Most of them are probably fixed already, how about UK ones for example, do you really think Conservatives won't win? Those guys are the same people who brought you Theresa May and Boris Johnson but they will still somehow win the next election, that is how horrible the situation is.

How about USA? Those guys literally have two party system, which is horrible but they do, you could flip a coin and decide who wins. People think because of Trumps horrible term the result will be a clear Democrat candidate winning but Republicans still hold a lot of power over many states so if they could flip couple states Trump could still potentially win, it is weird how someone like Trump could get reelected after all of this but it all depends on two big states to vote for him and he gets it again.

So, political gambling is a bit difficult, most of the time "they" know who will win beforehand, we are the only ones that has no clue.
1497  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 22, 2019, 05:45:06 PM
However, 5/7 has been quite common for some reason, there has been a lot of gamblers that actually managed 5 so maybe 7 is on the way, I don't know if there has already been one neither because we only know people here, maybe someone already got it?
I don't think we have a 1 BTC winner yet. If there happens to be a winner, I am pretty sure FortuneJack would come out and announce that someone won.
I agree that if something like that was to have happened there would at least be an update if not a big news splash. Not only would help promote their website but it would make other players try the game out so as far as I can see no winner has yet been announced.
Until now there have been no winners but there are some people who have gotten the free bet from their correct predictions of 5/7 and 6/7. There are still many rounds left, so I think people still have a chance to win this contest.
Seven out of seven will not happen that easily of course. I mean this is literally 1 bitcoin worth of deal, if fortunejack gets a winner they will be forced to share it because if you are spending 1 bitcoin on something you want everyone to know about it. Hell given the chance if I ever spend 1 bitcoin on anything I would like everyone in the world to know about it as well Cheesy.

All jokes aside it is such a tricky thing that you may get it next week on your next try or you may try for 100 years and never achieve, it is seriously trick that soccer is something what you expect it to be and sometimes soccer is something so unexpected and fun that you can't really believe what you are watching. This is the same league that has the same big clubs for the past 50 years but also the same league that Leicester once became champions with odds like 5000x or something.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 21, 2019, 08:19:06 AM
Im very confused how to win with high odds in soccer prediction. Because winning with low odds is very basic IMO , i mean it's not specific but mostly low odds always win , the potential is higher unlike with high odds as its 50/50 chance wherein very unpredictable.  Is there any strategy you know except viewing their past game or history?
I believe that you will not be asking such question if you have understood how odds works and how it impacts your profit levels. Low and high odds are purely depending on how many people bet on one particular sport event. So, there will not be any possibilities for predicting to win big profits for the same betting amount. If you risk big amount and your prediction will be right then you may profit in big levels, but odds has no role in maximizing your profits as it basically denotes how many gamblers on your side to share your profits.

Low odds will always win; Okay but do you notice that easily predictable side always has low odds? It is because of more number of gamblers go betting for an easy prediction.

In almost all the sports, underdogs may surprise the strongest team occasionally. In that case, high odds' side will win because most gamblers go wrong with their predictions. So, the gamblers who predict the UNLIKELY event gets more profits. So, if you focus on rare winning then you may profit in high levels Smiley.

The crash is one of my favorite games. But I'd like it to be multiplayer. Because the singleplayer is not very enjoyable.

I guess the EOS network isn't ready for this game to be multiplayer, so it's not that fast. But I still hope they will find a way and we can play the game to be multiplayer in the near future.
Normally "crash" type of games are almost always multiplayer, that is where the fun is, even better back in the day bustabit had bonus where if you are the last one standing you would get extra money for being the last one out. Many people went as high as possible and you wouldn't have a true "last" one because there would be few that burn down and lose money while waiting for the others to get out. Hell I remember there was a bot that literally just waited until everyone left and then quit right after, so all you would be waiting for would be everyone leaving, doesn't matter if it was 1.01x when everyone leaves or if it was 100 because all the bot cared would be being the last one. So, multiplayer would make this place a decent amount of profit and we would get better dividends but that is not gonna happen :/

The methods shared here all have been shared for dice in the past 10 years crypto has existed. What you guys may not remember that satoshidice website even when it was on-chain and horrible in the sense that when you compare it to today's gambling it is not really improved like the new ones are. However even back in those days of satoshidice we all talked about this.

There is mathematically no method that makes money at all, there is none, if there were any people would have found it but when you look at it from a logical stand point and realize it is actually mathematically IMPOSSIBLE you will stop doing these type of methods. Hence there is no reason to go around and trying to figure out a way to make money from gambling, just put up money that you wouldn't mind losing and try to have fun.
