1421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEVER EVER deal Bitcoins with PAYPAL (F&F too!) on: January 30, 2020, 02:58:33 PM
Paypal is one thing but I am really scared for people who want to deal with even cash at this point, I mean we are talking about thousands of dollars here and you may be in public when you meet someone for cash trading however if you are dealing with anything around 1 btc and you do not live in a huge nation (or even if you do) its 9 thousand dollars, people would seriously consider going to jail over that kind of money almost anywhere in the world.

What if one day I meet up with someone for bitcoin trading in cash, he shows me the money, I send him the btc, he just takes off? Not like I would be able to keep him grounded until cops show up, I would probably just following him like a dog barks at cars, not knowing what to do when I catch him, vice versa for giving cash and waiting for btc.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: January 30, 2020, 04:45:07 AM
This year actually has not actually a special one as years come and go. There is much lower chances of the governments to declare bitcoins as a mean of regulatory payments. This would actually change the entire world if ever this step is been taken by the governments but until now, considering the cross swords between the centralized and decentralized authorities I do not really think that the governments have any kind of intentions to consider including blockchain into their regulatory system.

Moreover, I do agree with you that any kind of news usually proves beneficial for bitcoins because the more people would know about bitcoins, the more they would wish to invest in. So, let the media continue sharing news about bitcoins maybe in positive or even negative way.

Blogging is a good source of income in cryptocurrency, but most people are not interested in it because it’s not easy.
You can already see it at the upper right quadrant, signifying there’s need to put in higher effort than you will do in signature campaigns.

You will have to worry about writing good articles and after that you are left with worrying about getting audience, and not just audience but the ones that will come to stay. It’s not an easy thing to do, so that’s why people are not interested in it. Most big blogs don’t write contents for themselves, they pay writers to do it for them. As a start-up you might not be able to afford paying writers to write for you since you’re not even gaining anything yet.

I guess getting another superstar to Bucks could be easier to get Giannis to go to another team. I mean Bucks have a lot of great side pieces, they have Bledsoe, they have Middleton, they have brook Lopez, these are all great guys to be used on a trade if they want to, not like they would want to have 2 superstars and nobody else but at the same time if you can get a player like lets say harden (I know that won't happen but I am just giving an example) wouldn't you give up on all of those guys? You would in a second.

Giannis and coach Bud already built something in Bucks and they are already in the first seed and playing awesome and they do have a chance to actually go to Finals this year, that will be a big thing for them, maybe they will lose but at least they will reach that level for the first time. After that its easy to get free agents, eastern conference is famous for being weaker and with bucks reaching finals they will basically be best east team that gets better and better.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 29, 2020, 04:11:42 PM
It is gonna be a very scary game for west ham I am sure, here we are a team thats trying to beat 100 point thing and on the other a team that is literally fighting to stay out of regulating Cheesy. I am pretty sure if Liverpool plays decently they could literally see 5 goals this game.

With handicap sportsbet is giving Liverpool 1.88 which is not really bad, Liverpool can score +2 on west ham any day of the week, so I will probably either get that or if I feel too adventurous the +2 handicap is at 3.23 which is really high and Liverpool may score 3 goals but I am not 100% sure if they will not get scored at all. 3.23 in any other sense would be awesome but I am not sure how tired they are lately, with all the cups and Europe and league they must be exhausted so I am not entirely sure on that one.
1426  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: January 29, 2020, 03:08:10 PM
Banks in Germany started to allow people to buy and sell cryptocurrencies this January 2020. I think other countries will do the same soon, Japan might be another country with such services. In the beginning, someone has to start something so others can follow suit.

What are the other countries where anyone legally can buy/sell cryptos at commercial centralized banks?
I am damn against this type of banks holding your crypto for you thing. They did it one time before with fiat and now they are literally holding less money in their vault than the money they say they can give out, just to give an example there are banks with 1to9 ratio where they can hold 100 dollars but give 900 dollar loans instead, we do not need that with bitcoin at all.

Think about it they will show your bank account with 1 bitcoin but they will have 0.1 bitcoin instead, is that something you would want to happen? Right now if everyone in the whole world with money on their bank accounts went and tried to withdraw it, eventually banks will not have enough money to give it, it is basically a big ponzi scheme, bitcoin can't be like that at all.
1427  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest 2000 People richer then poorest 4.6 billion on: January 29, 2020, 05:35:46 AM
Sorry, what you have said is not possible. Who will divide the wealth? And from whose pocket will the money come from? Bitcoin is not magic it does not automatically make the poor rich, because it doesn’t know whether you’re poor or rich, you just get what you can afford.

Don’t mind people that say Bitcoin can save you from poverty, they say that due to the first people that invested in Bitcoin most of them became millionaires later, and that’s because we that came in late started investing and causing the price to go up and those people turned rich overnight. This time the market is more than and for you to gain a little wealth is by luck, unless there’s going to be another bull run as has been predicted by some Bitcoin analysts.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: New York City Stores Must Accept Cash Council Says on: January 29, 2020, 04:49:23 AM
Technology is good and cryptocurrency is good and they make things to be really fast. But seriously, I don’t know why some people here are fond of posting hate topics about cash. You have chosen to make use of cryptocurrency and no one is disturbing you or saying about it and you’re using it freely, why then is it a pain in your ass that others have decided to be making use of cash?

You should focus on what’s best for you and stop minding what others wants to be using, it’s simply none of your business, same way what you are using is none of their business. Among me and my friends and family, I am the only that’s making use of cryptocurrency, because they are not interested in it. I don’t say anything about it to them and they also don’t care what I use, and yes they all know about cryptocurrency but they are just not interested. As simple as that.
1429  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 28, 2020, 05:39:17 PM

Let's wait a few more days and check which prediction will be more accurate. However, it seems to me that it is the last, so in the range "$8,001 - $8,500" is the most possible..
Anyway good luck and fingers crossed!  Wink

We are out of that range already. Smiley I think with the current pace we can reach "$10,501 - $11,000" till the end of the month easily, and if that happens, I win with 58x! And someone said earlier in this thread that suspending bets just 7 days prior to the event was too late. No, it wasn't! And today's price is the best proof of that. Now I'm even glad that I missed the opportunity to bet in the last hour, because I would bet on "$8,001 - $8,500".
There is a big rush towards the 8.5k-9k nowadays because of the increase in the price that happened in the last 24-48 hours. The 8k to 8.5k people are getting the second place because of what it has been in the past few weeks. Interestingly the 10k-10.5k odds are still at 22.22 right now, that means people do not think bitcoin will break the resistance in the next few days, sure it looks not around there right now but if we broke the 9.4k barrier anytime in the next few days I am sure we will go beyond 10k as well and suddenly anyone at the top 5 predictions will be wrong as well.

By the looks of it I am sure the third spot already lost unless something major happens, 7.5k to 8k is not happening anytime soon and it requires some bad news about btc for it to happen if you ask me.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 28, 2020, 05:07:50 PM
Looking at the cup right now there are still a lot of good teams left, Arsenal is still a good team and sure of course they could win it as well but I wouldn't give it my all that they would win it. Unfortunately for them, it looks like they won't be doing anything this year, not champions league, not European cup, because they will not be good in league after this moment, they may recover a bit but not good enough to actually pull off something so major to make a jump towards European places, cup also looks like a big challenge for them and unlikely so they have literally nowhere else to go.

When something like this happens the trouble is, these teams gets paid less as well and it makes things harder for the future seasons too, they make a debt to get better and if they don't it gets even worse and worse.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 28, 2020, 03:26:37 PM
we as young people in the cryptocurrency community do have an obligation to promote bitcoin and crypto to others. because without promotion it is impossible adoption can be realized. and holding seminars is a great way to promote bitcoin and cryptocurrency. sometimes local exchanges in my country also hold seminars on campuses to discuss cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. hopefully seminars like this are often held so that more people will know and understand about cryptocurrency.
Even in my country there were few seminars held regarding the awareness of the blockchain technology. This really seems a lot useful for a lot of people as speaking personally, the seminar which was held in my country had a number of people who were not even aware about the fact that bitcoins are circulating in the monetary systems.

People need to have more and more knowledge about bitcoins or the blockchain technology because it would only make them bear immense profits and also they would continue filling their memory with the most precious knowledge of all times. This would eventually spread the awareness at large scale as educating one person would make him educate the another and this chain can never be broken as our knowledge enlarges only if we share it.
1432  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 01:55:56 PM
We have visited this price a few times this month now but it does not have enough steam to sustain 9K and above price. You have to hold this meme back for now. Bring it back when we see strong support above this level.
There would need some time to create a strong support above this level. This level is just been touched and how can we expect that there would immediately be a strong support at this level? Let the price climb a bit more and then we could see a strong support which would never be broken and the price would continue in the upward trend. These might be the symptoms of the arriving bull markets so anything can happen in further markers.

Big whales are constantly speculating the markets and they would flood the support levels if they see the price climbing higher than $9500. This would make this adjust their support levels above the current price which would surely be a major step towards the arriving bull runs.

1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2019, 05:49:19 PM
Liverpool is taking the league very very seriously this season, they weren't worried about the league last season because they failed the champions league when nobody even expected them to be in finals but with Salah gone and Madrid beating them they were focused on getting the revenge so they put all their efforts on champions league (beating Barça 4-0 was just a historical moment) and now that they managed that, they want the league more than ever, it has been decades and it is time, they knew they had the talent and sure they would love to get another champions league title but if the tossup was between champions league and premier league, they want the premier league more than ever now.

Beating the second place team 4-0? That is just shows how absurdly better they are than anyone else.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 27, 2019, 02:02:09 AM
I once tried to calculate it but there are few times where I don't remember how much I started with and lost in the end. I normally play with regular amounts so it is usually always around the same number, but I have been gambling for too long so I don't recall the early days and how much I must have lost there.

I know that I have lost over 10 bitcoins in total for the past years but I can't find an exact number since I gambled in plenty of places and not remember all of them plus some don't have data going back too long. Long story short if I kept my money with me instead of gambling it would have been better for me but this is just a fun thing that I try to entertain myself with, if I got 10 bitcoins worth of entertainment out of it then it was totally worth it.
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is YouTube Now Cracking Down on Crypto Related Contents? on: December 27, 2019, 12:43:34 AM
Crypto influencers are frustrated and confused by YouTube deleting crypto-related content on its platform

Based on Twitter and Reddit threads, YouTube suddenly began deleting a number of cryptocurrency videos on Dec. 23.

YouTuber Chris Dunn, whose channel has over 210,000 subscribers, noticed on Monday that the platform had removed all of his videos that mentioned cryptocurrencies.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptocurrency-influencers-speak-out-on-youtube-deleting-crypto-related-content?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social
YouTube? Well, they have always had a fraught relationship and now they have turned worse. And for sure it is not every crypto content on YouTube that’s really bad, there are lots of good videos that can be helpful to people on how to access cryptocurrencies.

But, I won’t blame them for going on a crypto videos deleting spree without even checking whether the videos are good or not, there are lots of videos on YouTube that are related to cryptocurrencies and they wouldn’t have the time to go through all to know what they are really all about. There are still videos about cryptocurrency that are still not deleted, maybe they have their reasons for deleting the ones they deleted.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 27, 2019, 12:13:21 AM
1. Banks are very slow in their reaction towards virtual currencies yet by now over 70% of central banks around the world are looking into crypto.

2. Major changes will surely rise because bigger transnational organizations are showing interest in crypto.

3. China is really leading the way with their upcoming owned central bank digital currency (CBDC) which will be the first of its kind.

4. To add to this list of mine i read somewhere that Mark Zuckerberg is pointing out to China as the reasons why U.S should act quickly in regard to crypto, he personally believes that U.S needs to see more progress with cryptocurrencies.
Yup that’s the truth, Bitcoin is unstoppable. Being decentralized/open-source means that bitcoin will continue to grow no matter what. Bitcoin doesn’t have any Central unit that is in control of it, that means that the government will not be able to shut it down, they would have found it easy to shut down all this while if it was not like this.

China is really taking the lead with the new cryptocurrency they are about to release. I don’t really know how it’s going to work out, and whether it will gain wide adoption, but I’m looking forward to when Facebook will release their Libra. When they announced Libra I was really happy with it because a lot of companies came together to form an association to boost it, which means that it’s definitely going to be accepted by a lot of people.
1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: December 26, 2019, 06:47:03 PM
If we don't care about the people who are misinformed about the bots and scripts and what not and think that there is a way they could win and they end up losing because obviously the house edge is against them and they don't understand the game, we will have bunch of people who think they should have won but lost.

If those people think they figured out a way to win but lost and they come here complaining they should have won but lost there will be a little chaos, which means there will be people who are new that come here read the messages and feel like not playing here during that chaos, which would result with the investors losing money. So all in all, while you try to win money of the idiots who don't understand the game, you are losing the money of the people who do understand it.
Don't we already say the things we need to say for them to realize it is impossible for them to find a winning method?

I mean let's face it gambling is super fun and you may get lucky once in a while and make some profits but all in all this is a game where if you play long enough you will lose all your money, that is the point of casinos, to make you lose and make themselves money. Hell for places like this where there are investors it is even more obvious, you make more money investing into the website than you gamble because (obviously) gambling against house edge will make you lose whereas having the house edge will profit you.

So, everything that needs to be said about this has already been said, if people insist on trying to find a way to profit from gambling against house edge, they might as well just send their money to investors and be done with it quickly because they will lose their money and as an investor I thank them wholeheartly Cheesy.
