I have already lost this weeks anyway, I have lost on Chelsea because I gave it to Abraham and thought he would score this game (didn't even checked if he was in the game or had any problems, that is my problem). Then I said jack for Aston villa for some reason, I mean not only that I didn't get these two games scorers right, I literally failed to guess which team would win correctly as well, I can understand Aston villa one that is expected but how the hell did Chelsea lost is beyond me. Don't get me even started on Burnley game, I mean they are literally fighting to not relegate and I managed to guess one of the few games where they scored incorrectly. Overall, I am not getting anything this week and I know it already, it is a sad thing to fail only on the first 4 games, thankfully I got Liverpool game bet and made some money on that bet but that doesn't help jackmate at all.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 07, 2019, 03:10:47 PM
I was thinking this is the first season of Chase Center right? So golden state warriors executives seeing how amazing their team did in the previous seasons spent god knows how much money (just checked it was 1.4 billion but city and sponsors helped most of it) so now they are not doing any good at all, what happens to people who bought this season? I mean many people actually reserved a spot BEFORE Kevin Durant even left, now they don't have basically anyone at all.

Even if Curry and Klay eventually returns, we are talking about Draymond not being as good as he used to be as well and lack of Kevin Durant would make Golden state a playoff team, not a championship team at all. They would be good but looking at the west can we say fully healthy Warriors right now could take out clippers and lakers easily?
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi should be in Time's influnetial person of the decade list on: December 05, 2019, 08:56:47 PM
As we know this new year, a decade would have passed. And this time the Time magazine will be taking out most influential person of this decade list. I was thinking, we should start a petition and as Time include Satoashi's name. He was the one who started the financial revolution.
Is Satoshi Nakamoto, the name of a person? How do you even prove that its a name of a person or the name of a group of people? There is no way you can tell, it's not possible man. You're not going to put up an anonymous person on the Time's magazine and praising them as being influential when you don't even know who they are. People will expect them to put up a picture of Satoshi and all they will end up seeing is a blank page.

1. I think Times only chooses people who did something prominent in that year, so Satoshi would be already disqualified, since he was only active in 2009-2010.
The topic said the most influential person of the decade, so there is still a chance for it to land on the page. Bitcoin can as well make it to the list. It has really brought a lot of changes so it is worth it.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: December 05, 2019, 08:26:04 PM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
For this year, the only thing we got is the short bull run from April when the price moved from around $3k to $13k plus. Bull run does not happen before halving (I don't know for sure, but based on what I've seen), so the price is either going to remain remain stable with a little fluctuation up and down or it will get dumped. So, I'm only expecting the price to start going up after the halving, June next year. That was the same thing that happened in last bull in 2016, the price went up a few weeks after the halving.

in my opinion they are free to expect the good according to their wishes and expectations about bitcoin
There might be a bull run next year, a lot of people have been saying this for a really long time now. And I have also read news that whales are getting ready to invest huge amounts of money in bitcoins.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is definitely huge for Binance traders! on: December 04, 2019, 07:39:39 PM
It's good to see how much they have been improving this year. This is going to attract a lot of new traders and even some of those that left the exchange. No one likes paying for an in-house transaction, making it to be a free thing to do is a really great. I just hope that some people don't start misusing the opportunity that has been given to them lol, just like one other person mentioned.

This is really one big surprise and I hope to be seeing more of it as time goes on. Binance has always been my favorite exchange though it's not the only exchange I make use of (about four of them), but it's on top my list.

Binance is too late to implement this feature in my opinion as most other exchanges are doing it for years like yobit's yocodes and cryptopia's internal transfers (as cryptopia is not in operation, I could not recall their feature name).
Yes you're right about that, other exchanges have been offering this particular feature, but there is nothing wrong with an upgrade. If an exchange started offering this particular feature first, there is no need for them to rush into it so it wouldn't be like they are straight up copying what others are doing, would be best for them to take their time. And I'm happy they did.
1466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 04, 2019, 06:54:54 PM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.
Technical analysis is very important for anyone that wants to be part of crypto trading. If you don't learn how to analyze the chart, how then are you going to know the right choice to make? That's why it's important, unless you're one of those that relies on predictions that are made by others (experts), which I know they are not up to 10% reliable, because a lot of them up to 90% I see are always wrong.

Sometimes, I see these influencers making wrong predictions on Twitter and deceiving their followers. I guess they just get too excited and start typing whatever rubbish that comes to their mind and misleading people as a cost of it. Despite that, I have also seen some predictions that were 100% accurate. Another thing you have to know is that short term trade is not for everyone, you can go for long term trade and have time to focus on other things, and also learn to manage your loss.
1467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term bitcoin trading viewing on: December 04, 2019, 04:40:30 PM
If we roughly estimate like past 2 halving triggered 10x growth of bitcoin prices then we can assume like bitcoin prices is set to test $100k to $200k by the times of 2021. In pre-halving periods, bitcoin markets did not have any big spikes but in post halving, market was known for testing previous ATH which is always leading to set new ATH. This way we may expect bull may come into actual business.

Yes, right now we are not into exact bullish market still it must be kind of recovery phase. Recovering from the losses of 2017 market is happening but the bulls are not in decent focus. They lose power time to time. Bulls may get full power after the halving which may lead to testing current ATH of $20k levels before end of 2020 which means in 2021 we are going to have a complete bullish mode in bitcoin markets.

The bullish trend in 2021 may set 10x higher prices of current ATH. but we need to note that 2017's bull market set 20x higher prices than previous ATH which may signal about another 20x growth in upcoming bull market or even 40x growth too. Because, it all about rate of adoption by new investors and the level of money that they are going to bring into this markets.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can people use facebook libra coin? on: December 04, 2019, 02:17:31 PM
I want to know about the new coin from the facebook called libra and how will people use libra, and when will libra be available? to use. did you think that libra will overtake bitcoin and other crypto coins and become the number 1 coin in the crypto market?
There is no release date for Libra, I'm not even sure if they are still going to release Libra because they are having some problems with the government. If it happens to be a success I believe that by the time is gets released Facebook will communicate to us on how we will be able to make use of it, but it wouldn't be anything different from other cryptocurrencies, and it's going to be backed by assets (a stable coin).

I also believe that they will have the wallet separate but your account will be linked to a Facebook account, that's the Central unit that is in charge. It was said it would be released in 2020, that's next year, for now the date has been cancelled till further notice.

Libra will be just another cryptocurrency in the US and on Facebook? It is not enough to overtake bitcoin.
Libra is not created to overtake bitcoins but for competing in remittance services. A stable coin from a famous brand is the only reason, libra is getting too much of limelight. It will serve like how paypal is existing and nothing more in my predictions. Slowly libra users will start adopting bitcoins after realizing its potential. Yes, all developments will lead to adopting the versatile one.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your Bitcoin cash price prediction on: December 03, 2019, 07:35:13 PM
The Bitcoin Cash community is planning on testing a beta Telegram tipping bot  “Tipmebchbot”. This bot enables Telegram users to tip other users using BCH. With this development, 2020 might the price surge and by the end of the year, Bitcoin cash price might reach $4000 USD.

What's your point of view on this? Let me know!
What exactly is making the price to surge, is it about the tipping bot you mentioned? Lol, that's not enough to cause the price to surge. And I don't see the price of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) going up without Bitcoin. BTC controls the market the most, so the price of BCH will only have a chance of increase when there is a Bitcoin Bull run. And by the way, it's not even all the coins in the market that increases in price during the Bitcoin bull run, some of them will only crash in price.

For the price of Bitcoin Cash to go up, it depends on the project that are being launched on their platform and how much investors are investing. We will only wait for the right time and see what follows, though I don't look much into that coin, more of my interest goes to BTC.
1470  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 03, 2019, 07:04:50 PM
Mintdice or any crypto casino is not a coca cola level tho? I mean coca cola is basically all around the world and even people who do not drink it knows its existence and that is what matters when you make a marketing for a company as big as that, you just want to keep reminding people that you exist and that's it.

If coca cola stopped advertising today they still would sell and yes in couple generations at max people would move to other places, yet when it comes to mintdice or any place, even the big ships like stake, if stopped and not doing anything they may end up losing their customers much MUCH faster, inside one generation, WE would move to other places. So I am not entirely sure if signature campaign is the best way to go about marketing or not.
The reality is that bitcoin in general is not known as much as some companies, look at google or apple for example, even when you want to look up bitcoin online you use google most of the time, which means they do not need the type of marketing bitcoin itself needs. Now, we are even more niche, because we are talking about a casino in bitcoin world which is a niche part of something niche, and we are talking about a new one that is not as old as some of its competitions as well. So of course, marketing will be different.

However, do not forget that even the oldest ones are doing the same sort of marketing to stay alive, so I see no problem with mintdice signature or mintdice contest or mintdice promotions because all lead to more users for mintdice and that is awesome for all of us involved, even just the gamblers.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: December 03, 2019, 04:39:10 PM
There is no need to worry much on middlemen or any intermediaries as technological revolution may boost some business and may eradicate some other business. This is how the entire world is working so far. Those people will switch over to new business/employment or go innovating to add new features to their existing system so that may keep their customer-base intact. But, here the most versatile thing will survive as people will choose the convenient one rather than sticking with existing with current system.

Bitcoin is here to provide a trustless payment system. It means you do not need to depend on your government for storing your hard work in terms of money as money will lose its value over the time due to inflation reasons. Bitcoin will ensure that you are not trusting anyone but yourself when you choose to invest your money into bitcoins. This does not mean banks will find its hard time to survive as most people may not trust themselves to adopt bitcoins as bitcoin is known for wildly fluctuating. Until, bitcoin finds stable prices, banks may exist hence middlemen will find some jobs to survive Smiley.
1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: December 03, 2019, 03:07:34 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?
There is no way to be safe in trading, simply because of the negative news that the market may collapse quickly. So my advice to you is to be smart in trading, find out the news that can affect the price of altcoins especially bitcoin. In order to avoid a deeper losses.
That must be the simple reason why I would always suggest to anyone who are all preferring to enter trading to go for Hodl (long term trading) that would benefit them more than short term. Short term trading carries a lot of risk and you might not be okay with losing that money yet. Of course you can lose money in Hodl, but the price can still get back up as well.

Everything here is all about risk in this crypto space, and you should understand that and be ready for it. But, if short term trading is something you would like to get into then you will have to make out time and learn it. It's not something you will learn just in a day.

There are lots of things you have to learn and that includes technical analysis. You have to know how to read the chart perfectly and make the right decision. Being profitable in trading will not be possible from day-1. A trader must need to be competitive against market fluctuations for that continuous learning and practicing in real market is more important. So, adopting easy way of trading like holding would be much better way to crack easy profits over the time.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, What did you buy with your bitcoins on Black Friday? on: December 03, 2019, 01:04:09 PM
Nah I didn't buy anything using Bitcoin, but I did buy a lot of things online on Amazon on Black Friday, but not with Bitcoin. I don't really buy Bitcoins to use them for buying things online, my main aim of buying BTC is to keep it as a savings or investment. And by the way, I don't like how the using–of–Bitcoin for buying online works; the process it takes and the fact that there are no protections in place if it happens to be a scam or maybe the product isn't what you need and things like that.

Bitcoin = savings account
Fiat = daily spender
Right man, that's the same thing with me – any money I put into Bitcoin is to be saved, so I don't spend them on just anything. I spend and buy whatever I need using fiat only.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: December 03, 2019, 07:22:32 AM
Also gambling houses should stop the users initially, when they come for withdrawal stating you've got multiple accounts doesn't look to be a fair thing.
It is fair in all sense. They cannot freeze your accounts when their ToS has no mention about multiple accounts or anything about abusing their system (usually bonus/give-away) using more than one account. So, they reserve the rights to lock a suspected account at any time they catch. Houses go freezing out mostly at the time of withdraw due to the obvious reason of their last check point where they lose all the control over a gambler.

In some other perspective, a gambler opens more than one account and may deposit or not but plays for some time and develop some gambling interest and may get eligible to withdraw but house catch them and lock all the accounts. Now, house helped a person to be a new gambler.

If that gambler deposit some money to gambling bankroll with one of their multiple account and plays and lose some portion of it, again houses welcome that until they opt for withdrawing. These are the reasons why all the houses are locking out at the point of withdrawing and until then allows gamblers to enjoy.

Gamblers usually have two accounts only, 1 for betting and the other one as bank account.
As bank account? It is a news to me Cheesy. Probably OP wants to have more number of bank accounts Grin. Are you using any gambling houses as your web-wallet? Are you saving tx fees by doing so?
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 02, 2019, 02:50:12 PM
I can't believe how great Raptors have been but I seriously think Clippers will have a bit of trouble on the playoff part. I mean PG13 has always been a very injury prone player and Kawhi is well known for missing out games, now they are back and they are looking like they are decent, don't get me wrong I would give them the biggest title chance with both Kawhi and PG on the floor but right now Lakers are looking like a well oiled machine (even with the Dallas loss) so I feel like maybe we have overreacted on the whole Clippers thing?

Maybe, just maybe Lakers were better all along? I know we gave up hope on Lebron last year because he realized he wouldn't make it to playoffs and gave up but we all are seeing how hard he plays out there now, Lebron playing with a heart is actually very terrifying.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 30, 2019, 10:21:42 AM
Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?
I can't really tell why Satoshi Nakamoto is hiding, but I have always thought of the possible reasons that can cause him to remain anonymous and things that always comes to mind are – maybe he's hiding from the wrath of big banks?

Although I have seen some people claim that banks are not worried about cryptocurrency, I don't think that is true. Central banks are run by influential people, and I don't think any of these people would be happy seeing Bitcoin ruin their businesses for them. The next thing is the angry Wall Street, lol. People like Warren Buffet are seriously against the use and investing in Bitcoin, and that's another long story, you can search that up on Google.

Other things that also comes to my mind is that maybe he's someone that likes privacy or he's ...dead? Sad But in the other way round, if there's a risk in being Satoshi Nakamoto, then why are people still claiming to be him? Well, I'm just really confused anytime I think of this.
1477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: November 29, 2019, 07:41:56 PM
Look at those odds 🤑
Who's going to win the Champions League? ⚽

It is weird to see Liverpool being so well powered engine that goes very well in the premier league but at the same time on champions league Manchester city looks to be a better candidate to win it all. Look at the futures in almost all sportsbooks for premier league (some even closed it lol) and you will see that Liverpool as the highest candidate to win the premier league with the best odds to get it, now in champions league if an opponent was from any other league I would have said its expected and could totally possible but when a team from the same exact premier league becomes bigger chance to win champions league, that sounds a bit weird.

I don't disagree with it btw, I too think city has a bigger chance of champions league versus premier leagues Liverpool.
1478  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: November 29, 2019, 06:16:57 PM
The deal is, when you are a huuuuuge sportsbook, you don't need to provide anything, if you already have a customer base that is huge and doesn't require you to get more customers like the new small ones, you can omit the foul ones, hell you can omit the corners and even "who will get a red card" or whatever. Because even with the cliche good old "who will win" as a pure state and some over/under or handicap and what not, you can already keep the base going.

But, if you are a place that is new and want to get bigger very quickly all around the world that means you may want to add in stuff like fouls and maybe even the coin toss, there was a guy who ran a place that literally had a 1% house edge "who will kick off" type of gambling, he was doing it illegally so it got closed after couple months but dude made money on just "kick off" prediction market.

Uuhm, I don't think you're right. I like Bitcoin, and I have always thought the same until I realized that Bitcoin is not meant for that purpose. If countries should switch to making use of cryptocurrency I don't think it's going to magically make our economy better, make everyone rich and turn every country into paradise on earth.

As long as we continue with our evil ways and politicians remains the criminals they are, then nothing is changing, we are still going to continue to face the same problems we are facing these days. Is in our hands to decide whether things get better or not, Bitcoin is not a magical spell or whatsoever you think it is that's going to bring solutions to our problems. No matter what you do, there will always be those that don't want things to get better, they are the ones we need to tackle.
