1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is based on probability. on: July 22, 2020, 07:33:19 PM
That is the point we need to learn a lot about crypto trading knowledge, so we can predict the best probable outcomes.
Although there are no guarantees we can make a profit, but by trading based on probability in my opinion the opportunity
to get a bigger profit is opened. And that is what I am do all this time, and the fact is successful.
Basically anything we do has some sort of probability attached to it and trading also has it's own probabilities like the outcome can be favorable or unfavorable I agree like you said. But with more knowledge and experience you tend to take better decisions like still your trades have a chance of profit or loose but with time and experience you will make more 60-40% trades while when you are new you make 50-50 or 40-60% favorable trades so that is how it goes, you learn and use that knowledge in next time you trade which then increases your chance of profits.

I always consider trading as a no-edge based gambling and it is 50-50% in starting but as times goes on you get better just like sports betting.
1242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Difference Stock Trading and BTC trading on: July 22, 2020, 06:46:24 PM
If you're trading, the difference isn't much and if you have been trading stocks and you're an expert in it you will definitely understand how to trade cryptocurrency easily. When it comes to general differences and similarities, there are a few things that differentiates them all, but these differences have nothing to do with the strategies that are being used.

The number one difference is that cryptocurrency trading is easy to start compared to stock where you are required to have a particular amount of money before you will be able to start trading. In cryptocurrency trading, it doesn't have any limit, you can trade no matter the amount you have in your account. Apart from that, sessions are another difference, unlike cryptocurrency that can be traded any day and time, stocks have limited sessions.
1243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance compared to other Crypto Exchange. on: July 22, 2020, 06:13:21 PM
Bittrex has lost ot far back as at 2017, Binance leverages in the incompetencies and shortcoming to build an exchange that will be most welcome to the crypto community and that is what we are witnessing it today. As at today, in terms of user experience, liquidity, services etc, Bittrex cannot contend in the top 40, an exchange that has one be in the leader seat
Bittrex also does not understand the problem of their traders as I had a issue where I mistakenly deposited waves platform bitcoins into their address and when I asked them please can they help me out then they just denied me and told me there was no way to recover it. I know it is my fault but a true exchange should listen to it's members.

I feel so peace of mind when I trade at binance because it feels like safe as a bank and their support team quickly replies and is actually very friendly. I don't trade much but whatever trades and buy/sell of coins I make, it happens all on binance because they are just too far ahead of their competitors.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: July 22, 2020, 05:32:03 PM
I don't know any crypto casino who offers cryptocurrency staking. But I think it would be nice if they would offer it. If the first casinos will start with such a feature, I guess the other will be follow.
There is a vault system in stake that allows you to save your money and use it as a wallet to fund instantly but I don't think they will allow staking at all because they surely had the idea of staking when they have their casino named stake Grin and have the vault system.

But, I agree that just one casino needs to set an example and lead from the front and others will follow the same pattern and it is about time when a casino starts offering staking and I believe they will charge some fees too for the operation costs but still worth it. I wonder there are so many casino owners and some might be fascinated by the idea already.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 22, 2020, 05:18:15 PM
I am not surprised. Even more and more people know what is bitcoin and have already heard about blockchain technology.
During lockdown a lot of people have played a lot in online casinos just to spend some funny time Tongue
However I guess that this is just a drop in the ocean. More and more gamers will be part of this revolution, it's just matter of time Wink
Yes and casinos like stake are growing with a decent speed as I saw they gave away like $121,027 in weekly bonus and imagine if a casino is giving out such a hefty amount per week to it's gamblers combined then how much the casino must be making of their own and what level of wagering must be going on there. Same goes for primedice and they also give out bi-weekly bonuses I think, although I only play at stake not used PD for sometime now so don't know what is going on there now days.

I feel like these numbers are going to only go higher with coming time and situation like covid-19 are only fueling these because everyone wants to gamble online now days rather than going in a real casino.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Limited escrow service for building self discipline. on: July 22, 2020, 04:53:59 PM
A good self-control would be enough if one needs to restrict himself from playing. he doesn't need to let anyone secured his earnings since he can control himself without a problem and this is something for anyone to practice if they don't have it yet. This won't come easy at the start, but on the long run, you will gonna use to it and will not carried away by his emotions.
But being a gambler I can tell you that it is not easy because when you lose some money initially then you feel desperate to win the amount back and that desperate moments can cost even bigger loss maybe it is worth having someone else control your funds but make sure they are trusted and you can access them in case of absolute scarcity. I have played in past where I locked my funds for a set date but it felt horrible when I needed them but I could not access them. So, I am not a big fan of locking your money but if you get out of control then yes it might be worth it.

I think if you rather only deposit as much as you are affording to loose then you don't even need bankroll management because you know what you deposited was affordable to be lost.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest winner during COVID? on: July 22, 2020, 04:14:01 PM
It's not yet over now. But it is clear that if some country/company can bring the vaccine/medicine for the virus will be the true winner.
If no vaccine comes within the next then china will be the winner, as they seem to handle the total situation really well.
While China managed the pandemic well I too agree with that but that doesn't mean they are winners because they lost a large number of lives and some reports even claim they hide the actual number of cases. So yes, while they managed the situation well without having too much impact on their economy but I won't class them as winners maybe would call them as better survivors of the situation.

I agree on the point that the country that can develop the vaccine will become a true champion because they will cure their people and also export it for a large sum of money to other countries hence helping their own economy in the process.
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Current Bullish & Bearish scenario on: July 21, 2020, 11:11:35 PM
I feel like bitcoin has always runs between that line of being bullish and bearish, there is really nothing to be done about it and that is why I believe that we would basically be living in the moment and without actually knowing whats going on or what will happen in the future. However that is the good part of the bitcoin world, you get to try and learn and get better, you get to share stuff, you get to laugh about it with friends and you just basically make it a hobby most of the time as well.

This is why in the end we are not going to just see bitcoin move up or down and when we see it it is going to be way too late and that is why we will not be able to make a move on it because it will be too late. It is just a different situation, we have to basically be very careful.
1249  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 21, 2020, 08:32:56 PM
The economic situation of many countries around the world is much worse The impact of the epidemic has been more on the poor people of the society Most of the workers are facing financial problems due to shortage of work and dismissal. Although the government has tried its best to help this help has not reached everyone Political leaders are intervening In that case poor people are living a life of starvation It is not possible to control everything completely until the virus is removed.

The economic situation will soon recover, and many countries will pass the worst situation because of the pandemic. People will search for new jobs offline or online because they need to have money to buy their daily needs. The government's help is not enough if the private business is not trying to do its best to reopen the new jobs for the people. If some workers don't get payment from their bosses, they don't need to come back to the old bosses, but they can search for another boss who can give them the new jobs.
Although as easy as it sounds there are more workers than boss and the brutal reality is that if you don't stick to your job now you might face much more troubles and the company owners know this and they are taking advantage of such times because they know if even they pay half the salary they can retain their workers or even get new ones.

That is the reason why jobs are always considered to be temporary because as long as you are useful to them they will allow and once they find a cheaper or better substitute you are out without a mistake being made. I personally feel that people should not leave their jobs during these times, no matter what!
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: July 21, 2020, 08:01:31 PM
Low volume is basically the main cause of this, that is what happens when you have low volume or basically no person really interested in trading, you end up seeing no change at all. There could have been another outcome, the volume could be low, liquidity would be low and some rich person could have taken advantage of it and change the price a lot, they could have dropped or increased it very very quickly. What is going on is the alternative to that and nobody wants anything to do with bitcoin.

Hopefully over time there will be some time when people will want to change something and they will get a lot more interest towards bitcoin and at that moment bitcoin will definitely change, maybe it would be people being bored and start selling all together or maybe everyone will hype up and it will go up.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 21, 2020, 07:26:48 PM
Well, that didn't happen... Its 10 days later now and there is absolutely no bull run at all. I know that its not easy to make predictions and TA rarely ever gives results since if it was such an obvious thing every single poor person would learn TA and use it to get rich and nobody would be poor.

However, this one missed the mark by a mile. At the end of the day TA is something that "suggests" you something and that's it, there is nothing more to it, you have to deal with everything else on your own, if you do not make it then that means TA wasn't right that time but like I said sometimes its wrong, sometimes its right, you have to be careful and just make sure you are not going all in just because you saw something, what you saw could be wrong and would be your financial doom.
1252  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! 🎲 DICE with the best autobet mode🥇 on: July 21, 2020, 06:03:19 PM
It is actually quite cool that they are improving the website in so many ways, there has been a lot of talks about wolf.bet with their new features and better betting strategies and 2fa now and many other stuff. Like these guys know what a casino is all about, it is all about hype, you need to find the gamblers but you also need to give them a reason to gamble, if you give them something to talk, something that will keep the interest, that means you are doing a great job.

Any casino that is forgotten will be the ones that doesn't receive a message for a like a month, this place gets like couple per day, that means there is a lot of hype and attention and interest towards this place, that is what I like about it. Keep on improving and you will become the biggest ever casino in crypto.
1253  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: July 20, 2020, 09:33:17 PM
*Moneypot(.com). It was an interesting project, shame it didn't last, the URLs below for those who are curious:

https://web.archive.org/web/20151127194540/http://moneypot.com/
https://web.archive.org/web/20190115143554/http://moneypot.com/
Yeah, moneypot! That was definitely the one that I was talking about. I even used that place for wallet for a looong time as well, I just invested everything I had in there and withdrawn only when I needed money, that way I thought it could have made a lot of profit.

Obviously it got so much money invested in it that at one point it got hacked or abused or whatever and people lost countless amount of bitcoin, which basically started their demise and it ended pretty quickly, they worked on V2 or whatever to get it going again but as long as there is no interest towards it, there was no way it could have made any profit neither.

It was pretty awesome when Rhavar had it, it became the biggest talking point in all of casino world in crypto and after he sold it, it became not so well over time.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: July 20, 2020, 08:13:16 PM
We can’t move all jobs remotely. There are people who work as cleaners, they can’t work remotely, because they can’t clean the office from their home. So not all jobs can be done online, that’s why we all need this situation to stop. People should just wear their masks and go back to their works. Companies/offices should have everything that’s required to keep their employees safe at this time in their office, by providing necessary information, and telling employees to maintain distance at work, and wash hands, and wear gloves and all that.

So, I must agree with you that it is really unfortunate times for all of us because of covid19 and it's quarantine periods. But, most countries started relaxing lockdown restrictions which helps people to get back into their normal life including getting back to job so that they could feed themselves. Some countries are announcing about public use of vaccine by the beginning of August month. When that will be happening in real life, I hope everything will get settled down.
1255  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: July 20, 2020, 06:38:13 PM
  • Enhancing Online Business and Marketing
We know world COVID-19 has stopped the activities of industries, firms and businesses. People are now being motivated to involve in online business and online marketing which is beyond the affect of any culprits. Online job and marketing has increase tremendously than before
Yep, this situation really enhanced online business. This made us realize that there are so many jobs that can be done remotely without requiring staff to be in the office, and I’m hoping that they maintain this standard after this situation is over. Even before now there were lots of companies that were offering remote jobs, and there were some of them in the cryptocurrency industry.

Exodus were offering jobs that are all remote jobs on their website and that was really cool. But your last point, I don’t really know about that. A lot of people I’ve discussed this with usually say that they are not ready for investment at this time.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 20, 2020, 06:03:14 PM
Eventually. I do not mean right now, but eventually. Because the world has always constantly changed and I do not think finance is any different, that changed a lot as well. That is why I think even if not 100% clear of cash, we will eventually be pure digital, without ever spending cash anywhere except some weird people or very old people.

I would say 2050 is a good goal to pick, that would be people who were born in 1960's and 1970's mostly dead at that time (sure some people alive but very small percentage) so everything who was born after 80's would probably not feel the need to spend money in cash, almost all of them already spend it with either credit card or crypto right now, the number of people who was born after 1980's and still use cash as a standard option (not when they have to but they want to) must be close to people who own bitcoin.
1257  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 19, 2020, 08:53:32 PM
If the withdrawals were not initiated by you and it was an inside job, then of course you will not get any intimation on it. I think the only way to is to contact the support or Sportsbet.io will reply here on your accusation to give his point of view on this case.
It's hard to say it was an inside job when there are better targets than him and i've seen the same thing happen in other sites that are reputable as well. I guess the account wasn't secure enough like no 2fa or weak password. If only the 2fa was activated on his account the problem would've been easily avoided since the codes are required for every withdraw.
Why the first thing in mind was inside job? I mean you guys do realize that you are blaming a company that spent 6 million dollars on a sponsorship with stealing 10mbtc right? Surely you have to be kidding me, that is really not the way they would work, what would be the need for that.

If it was inside job but not the owners, just a worker who was ill mannered, even with that in mind that is still a hacker that is just not from outside but inside but still a hacker and doesn't regard the company at all, they would fire him and give you your money but they are the ones who are used in that as well and wouldn't want that on their name. I would say it was probably a regular hack from outside just like always, some accounts are just easier to crack into and than withdraw all of it right away.
1258  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: July 19, 2020, 10:40:49 AM
I know that requires a bit of luck because just as 12 months is ending some whale could come up and win like a million doge and you would have a big loss, but unless something unexpected like that happens you will end up with a good amount of profit in 12 months. I can't wait to see the results even from today.
I don't think it will hurt more when you invested a load of time.
We are already looking at whales betting large amounts and they had been winning.
But, it doesn't put us to zero.
12 months is a long time, unexpected events could just rob days from it.  Grin
I am not saying it would put you in zero, I just meant it would be changing the approach. Like for example you can invest for 12 months, you could make 47% profit in one year as an example, well for one minute it is 47% and another minute it is 46% because some whale won. Obviously it is not changing it too much but like I said the moment they play they could change the outlook a bit, is 46% a bad investment? Obviously not, it is an amazing investment return however whale just dropped it 1%.

So, what I was trying to say that do not just look at one picture of what happens, look at the bigger picture, look at what happened after each week. Invest on Monday, and after that check every Sunday for 52 weeks and see the increase with your eyes. Just one picture doesn't really reflect how awesome it can be.
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Institutional Interest in Bitcoin (BTC) and Crypto Markets are Rising...And the on: July 18, 2020, 08:39:30 PM
The interest is growing, and it’s not stopping. A lot of investors want to buy Bitcoin, and those of them that don’t know about it are looking for people that will help them understand and start investing. I have really helped a lot of them where I live. Some meet me and tell me they would like to invest huge money, and ask me everything they need to know and I give them answers. And the interest seems to be growing as of recent, everyone is just talking about it, they want to invest in it. This is the level of recognition I have been waiting for.

Unlike most people do state in our speculation board, I guess we expect or not or we love or not, but we are going to touch stars very soon and this is what I understand whenever I am coming across any discussion about increased bitcoin related activities or anything similar to that. Institutional fund managers will get into board for sure as bitcoin will be providing massive returns for sure and that also will be in very short time period. I mean no surprises here but this is what I do dream about at more frequency.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Abra CEO and founder Bill Barhydt now sees Bitcoin as a store of value. on: July 18, 2020, 07:22:34 PM
Having initially been quite sceptical Bill Barhydt has now come out and proclaimed that he agrees on Bitcoin being a store of value by stating that "today Bitcoin is best used as a store of value that will become more and more uncorrelated to traditional investing markets over time".

As more people start to view Bitcoin as a store of value this could arguably gain popularity with the general public and, dare I say it, even boomers.
It’s good that a lot of people are starting to realize Bitcoin as a store of value. A noob was asking me if Bitcoin is a store of value and when I gave him a yes as an answer, he said if it was a store of value why then does the price drop.

I brought out my smartphone and opened a Bitcoin chart and showed how the price has been moving for a decade now and told him to imagine if he invested in all those years it definitely would have been a store of value for him and he would have made huge profit as well. At last he had no other option than to agree.

Majority of the people think short term, that’s why they don’t see it as a store of value. If they would look at it for a long time, they will agree.
