Hello again all, long time since I have posted here.
I've decided I am going to attempt to hard fork and repair this coin sometime in the next 1-2 weeks. May as well give it a try, certainly can't be any worse off than it is now. More info coming soon.

Stupid question about your 'shifts' - if I point my GPUs your way do they only hash certain hours a day or 24/7?
They work always but shift means that all generated btc will go to buy drk every day different algo does it. 1st day scrypt 2nd day sha 3rd day x11 and again....correct me if I`m wrong..  almost right, except the shift simply finish when enough has been mined and exchanged. If there happens to be a big spike in hash rate, the shift will end sooner. For now, until I can see there is a steady and consistent hash rates, the shift are manually ended when I see enough has collected for it. Ideally I'd like to pay all algos, each day or even twice a day. But for that, there needs to be at least ~3Th SHA256, 125Mh/s Scrypt and 2GH/s X11 consistently. Not quite there yet, but I see scrypt just blew up and it's running ~310mh/s Also with more coins to exchange more often, it allows a more consistent and plentiful DRK buying on the exchanges, pushing the prices up. Which is good, but also, need to realize that it's going to make the payouts slightly less. Kind of a catch 22, but I think the end goal of a higher price is worth it. |

The shifts will eventually be a set period of time like 24 or 12 hours ideally. There just need to be more miners so there is enough coins mined and exchanged to make it worthwhile. So right now the shifts are 24-48 hours. |

We just have to assume the dev got hit by a bus and died, and now all the pool operators and exchanges need to get on one chain. This has really gone on for too long.

What's so difficult about providing this? #1 needs to be done by the dev,. #2 can be done by a community member with good video making skills. (with dev's help if needed for technical info) #3 can be done by community member although it would be better if dev did it with specific technical differences. #1 I can put together something graphical if Dev can give some indicative timelines on phase 2. I think all that's in order is funeral planning. |

I think i saw somewhere in the thread that someone else will be responsible for info and thread activity or i am wrong? Can we contact him ask him about ETA of phase 2 and the multipool? Paid off waiting was correct   ETA for the multipool was this weekend. So let's hope that still happens. But really, it's not the end of the world if it multipool gets delayed.  ETA for phase 2 does not exists as of yet I believe. Maybe I missed it. But they did say they are progressing on it well. (development wise) Notice how the Roadmap on the OP says "Phase 2 solution in testnet". To me, that's fairly specific as they did utilize testnet for Phase 1. We all want to become rich sooner. I do. But it's not dev's responsibility to do so. I doubt they'll have a multipool ready by then. They already let my offer fall apart by a little crying miner. |

Darkcoin is now trolling it's own thread.  Everybody wants cheap coins They are pretty cheap right now. If you look at the depth of the market at Cryptsy you can surely see that only a few MNs are up for grabs in this price range. Is what am thinking also on a pool where am mining a diff coin but been paid in darkcoin so considering to stick 24TH on to it from rented hash power Dark has it's own multipool who I'm sure would appreciate the support http://www.xpool.cayeah man, fire away.
