541  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the most effective campaign methods in 2023? on: September 20, 2023, 03:36:21 PM
Honest reviews campaign, because first it will definitely attract filtered early adopters (they wouldn't bother testing the platform if they weren't interested). Furthermore, these reviews will become a means of reference for many readers and some of them will become potential users if the review summary shows satisfaction.
542  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duckdice verification failed on: September 20, 2023, 03:23:12 PM
What type of verification asks for screenshots?
You're usually given unlimited repeat opportunities if it's identity verification, unless you try to fake it, it makes sense they don't give you another chance.
This is just my assumption, better get an explanation from the team.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone notice this pattern? on: September 20, 2023, 03:12:55 PM
I am not speculating anything as it is a simple calculation of the average.
Reaching ATH is basically speculation, and your calculations are only about anything more specific than price.
I also noticed that pattern as a conclusion to my predictions, but that again would not contain any accuracy because ATH is not a cycle. Several major scenarios can further influence future pattern changes.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 19, 2023, 02:59:16 PM
None of the above for me.
Buying: I don't need as much money as I earned at that time for quite a long time. I'll buy some to accumulate.
Selling: I have desires that I can't fulfill with cash, I 'l definitely sell some.
I can convince myself about the price after the halving, but I can't convince myself about the age.
545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there another similar concept? on: September 19, 2023, 02:50:03 PM
This is an avenue for other ideas to be born, because I have observed the consistent record of this platform and knowing that BTC is first among many other cryptos who tried to replicate the idea, I asked, so as to know if there are other platforms as this, just like we have altcoins and shitcoins and memecoins.
As far as I can find, there is no forum as comprehensive as bitcointalk. Site traffic is the main reason other forums aren't as desirable as marketing targets. Apart from that, altcoins gain more popularity from social media. Campaign offers may be found on their forums, but most are just for shills on other platforms.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand to start taxing overseas income next year, including from crypto on: September 19, 2023, 02:34:56 PM
Bad news for foreigners with foreign income living in Thailand as the government in Thailand will tighten tax regulations on foreign income to Help the Thai economy right.
If I caught the news correctly, the tax object applies to everyone living in Thailand, including the indigenous population. But seriously lol, I don't know from your perspective you think that's bad news. Is the number of corruption cases high enough in Thailand?
Well, this rule is just another urge for citizens to try to be as honest as possible. Talking about the loophole, it will remain there forever due to the default characteristics of bitcoin, such as bitcoin addresses not being geographically identifiable.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UnionBank to offer Bitcoin trading on mobile app in Octomber on: September 19, 2023, 02:10:49 PM
I think we need to wait for a while first , I mean lets see the effect first and if people in crypto will take this as advantage or another threat because this will surely involving KYC in which many of us tries to deny passing if given a chance.
anyway I love this to come if ever and I am surely one to use this when that happened .

Maybe I'm wrong, I think the app would sync with the user's Unionbank account or use it for default fiat deposit storage. If you're an existing user, KYC will no longer be requested. Or if you're completely new, Unionbank will handle user registration.
This method is the same as my local forex platform.
548  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.GAME Deposit problem (9 days and counting) on: September 18, 2023, 03:04:49 PM
got the deposit after 10 days, thanks to everyone who replied.
Glad to know, I hope you're still around, @OP.
However the accusation must be ended, now I suggest you to change the status of the accusation to "Resolved" (in the title) and lock the thread.
549  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Let me rant a little: Coinbase fraudulently enriches itself on: September 18, 2023, 02:49:39 PM
but let's assume that just 20 million of their customers have a low amount in their accounts they can't withdraw like myself. They can't make less than $15,000,000 from this singular act.

Yeah, and it applies once to 1 user, guess if you have the desire to come to that platform again? No?
Don't think it's their chance, because every time this warning is given it means they lose their sustainable income. And they sure hurt when they drop it on users with balances worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Just take the positive message, for example this can happen on other exchanges.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 18, 2023, 11:41:44 AM
a woman who operates a physical  exchange getting harassed publicly because she had a physical exchange
Please be more specific, what kind of harassment do you mean? Is this related to the ignorance of people who then talk demeaningly or intimidate Bitcoin users?

Quote
not all youths who are legally (not involved in any form of fraud) can also boldly walk about the country boldly claiming  to have bitcoin atkeast for their personal safety.
Keeping bitcoin ownership secret is part of privacy, especially in an insecure environment. The threat is not only from the government, but also the environment. You don't have to force them to reveal it
551  Other / Meta / Re: Without merit... on: September 18, 2023, 03:52:23 AM
without merit how can YOU rate a post as a quality post or how can you appreciate a quality post?
It will work as I subjectively rate a post, only there is no reference point to how or how many the appreciate is assigned to a post, so you can't see anything. Moreover, since subjective judgment is unlimited, it doesn't need to be revealed.
I remember about the neutral feedback feature which is allowed to be used outside the trading context.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: September 18, 2023, 03:20:18 AM
Even P2P transactions require some sort of middleman; how are you going to pay for the bitcoin you're purchasing?

If you mean banks, that is a specific need because only they can digitize cash. In this case, @op specifies the definition of the term "middleman" as not being the bank itself (unless they also provide recommended bitcoin traders directly).

And like I said before that "trust" is the concern. When it comes to making transactions on the internet, at least it is easier for users to trust centralized exchanges because they are regulated, or p2p exchanges where they have a list of verified traders and are considered capable of resolving disputes.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 16, 2023, 04:15:44 PM
They do this because they're not traders but influencers, they only claim to be traders to connect with their audience as that's the perfect way they can use to influence them.
The fact is that some traders do live trading, if their portfolio is good and can be confirmed, then more and more people come to subscribe which makes them truly influencers by their profession. Affiliate programs are one form of passive income that can't be ignored when it comes from large companies.
554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Remitano exchange allegedly hacked for $2.7M on: September 16, 2023, 09:48:01 AM
What I find curious is why the news appeared first on other websites before they announced the breach, and how did other websites find out that Remitano was hacked.
That's "alleged" news which means it has not confirmed yet, cointelegraph didn't refer to remitano's official news. Contributors to news sites work quickly with each other to publish articles (perhaps they have many drafts of articles).
The first one here is actually @CyversAlerts. I think these journalists follow these kinds of blockchain analysts on Twitter more for their article material.

Anyway, this is a funny case.
555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Remitano exchange allegedly hacked for $2.7M on: September 15, 2023, 03:59:29 PM
Will this be a useless hack? Almost 90% of assets that are USDT (ERC20 and TRC20) have been frozen and the rest in ETH instead deposited into centralized services. What a strange hacker. https://twitter.com/CyversAlerts/status/1702566664758337770
556  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Bisakah Binance benar-benar menghentikan perdagangan BUSD pada tahun 2024? on: September 15, 2023, 02:36:17 PM
BUSD sama seperti beberapa pasangan koin stabil dimasa lalu yg mereka delist[1].

557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Common Bitcoin ideas on: September 15, 2023, 01:12:19 PM
in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space.
Ignorance determines the impression. Yeah, they feel lost while they still hold bitcoin in their hands.
To refute the paradigm that bitcoin is an "investment scheme" that can harm their finances, I think it's good to start teaching them by utilizing bitcoin right away. But, this is only limited to someone who has the will to do something that will pay them in bitcoins. I'm sure their impression will be different from before.
Most people don't really feel like they've lost if it didn't come from risking their money.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 15, 2023, 12:53:43 PM
First, note that for a trade to truly impact the price of bitcoin, the scope of the trade must be limited to the spot market or something else that actually moves supply.
Back to the OP's statement,
While the common approach is to view Bitcoin solely as a long-term investment, it's worth considering an alternative perspective – that of an active trader. By delving into trading strategies, it's plausible to generate a daily income ranging from $20 to $30, provided one has a sound grasp of the market dynamics.
if people take that perspective, maybe bitcoin isn't their priority because some assets actually have higher volatility to get profits that are closer to the daily income targets.
559  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] NonKyc.io - Embrace Privacy and Security in Cryptocurrency Trading on: September 15, 2023, 12:19:00 PM
If you did your own research, you don't have to ask.

....
And we don't ignore, we are not very active on this platform. we use telegram, Discord, and our own Ticket system.

If you want to avoid us, please do so.
My question is from the results of my research based on the existing signs of contradiction. Unfortunately your answer isn't what I expected. Any platform is not your problem to answer if you basically have it, unless you don't.
But it's your right if you want to ignore this one, it's not just a personal choice to avoid, but it's also a red warning for everyone. Remember that open forums like this are more indexed in Google searches.
560  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Waspada Binance Palsu (Scam) on: September 14, 2023, 03:33:42 PM
Cara pemasaran APP kek gini biasanya pake metode "underground" ato bisik-bisik dan target pesertanya orang yg tua-tua 40-an keatas. Mereka kan biasanya sekali denger "cuan" emang lupa daratan meski udah banyak peringatan di internet. Namanya orang tua, kalo dikasi nasehat sama yg muda-muda kebanyakan di skip. Grin
