541  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: November 03, 2023, 05:33:35 PM
These comments can increase the fear and anxiety workers always had that these super-computers will replace them in future. What are your thoughts regarding the statement by Elon, do you think we should take him seriously?
Even a simple machine without AI already removed tons of job opportunities from human especially on factory which manpower is needed. Heavy Machines makes a lot of people not needed for the job since it’s more efficient. I believe his prediction on AI effect in the future has some merit on it considering how human become more lazy due to technological advancement.

I doubt robot can replace human in terms of socialization problem but AI technology might dominate the manpower industry especially the call center area and other work that can be done through the use of internet as source.
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 03, 2023, 05:23:09 PM

What you are referring to is a pump and dump groups and they neither charge people nor have membership program as their amin source of income is the shit coins or low volume coins which they would have accumulated earlier and just wait for the users to follow their signal and buy that coin which pushes the value of the coin higher and immediately sells off in bulk this the person who are late to sell their coins are losers. I am referring here to the crypto signal groups who shares the details on coins which we have to long or short with the specified there targets and only shows winning side by sharing screenshots and hiding their losing bet. unfortunately people falls trap for this and end up paying for membership. I have personally lost a good amount of money as it's like gambling wherein your mind is attached to the signal that as soon as it's shared you end up buying it to avoid missing out on entry price specified. If they really do offer such accuracy then why to collect membership fee because of their signals are so accurate they don't have to waste time creating group and selling membership and moreover no one will be poor.

I agree with you on stock market but crypto is different.

Probably you only saw those pump and dump signal group on telegram channel that provide buy price and tp/sl with their signal but there’s indeed legit signal that provide better technical overview with their call to back up their signal and not the typical pump and dump.

Signal groups/channel started as legit service and just impersonate by scammers now due to its demand. I do agree that most of this group now is mostly scam but there’s still legit out there that give solid call. Ofc premium membership is required since owner is doing thorough research on bunch of tokens just to find perfect coin that is showing potential pump through TA and FA.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No advertisement for btc on: November 03, 2023, 03:26:56 PM
I was just reading this post and thought crossed in my mind that there has been no advertisement for Bitcoin. It's all growth has been natural, it's quite surprising if you think about it.
Bitcoin does not require any advertising because it has no organization or ownership of its own. But Bitcoin is a globally known coin. Bitcoin doesn't need a new introduction as countries around the world already know about its importance and necessity.

This correct. Bitcoin has no paid advertisements since there’s no company or people behind it that will benefit the most when Bitcoin was pump since Satoshi identity is hidden.

Bitcoin is being advertised in different form such as news, personal opinion and share of knowledge by its community. This the definition of real decentralized since the community is working on their own to promote Bitcoin unlike other shitcoins that get funds from the community to start their project while they still own the most token supply.
544  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tarot cards gamit pang predict ng market? on: November 03, 2023, 03:20:32 PM

545  Other / Meta / Re: Is it just me? Bitcointalk slow!!! on: November 02, 2023, 04:31:33 PM
Anyone facing issue accessing bitcointalk? I am unable to browse bitcointalk normally. It's so slow. The pages taking forever to reload. Is it just me or everyone else? My location is "Bangladesh". Can anyone check why is it so slow, or the cause of high ping. My point is, it's not as it was before.

Other sites and apps are working just fine, no network issue.

I'll lock the thread after some hour.

The loading speed on my end is normal. Everything is quick to reload when I click thread. Probably due to your ISP. Try clear data on your browser and if possible use VPN to check whether your loading speed will improve or not.

I experienced this issue on gambling site and it turns out my ISP is probably not compatible on the website loading speed.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: November 02, 2023, 04:06:42 PM
I was listening to a news that one of the relatives of a person kidnapped him and asked him for bitcoin in ransom. This happened because that person showed his bitcoin holdings to many of his relatives and news spread among them that he has lot of money invested in crypto. Though, finally funds were recovered from that guy but he could have even lost his life in the whole scenario. Thus, you should be careful with disclosing about your bitcoin holdings to everyone.

This is not new. Actually it’s dumb to flaunt Bitcoin in public while the main goal of using Bitcoin is for decentralized transactions. Most of the people doing are those arrogant or someone who’s using his gain to attract other user to invest while benefiting on them through referral link.

I have a lot of friends like this on social media and most of them promote ponzi after sharing huge holdings of crypto asset.

Not only Bitcoin is subjected to this but anything that is valuable because you are attracting someone to rob you because you don’t who will rob you while they freely observe and wait for perfect opportunity to attack you.
547  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin help global refugees and migrants to relocate to new countries? on: November 02, 2023, 03:58:51 PM
Hamas and other terrorist use cryptocurrency to fund their war. I think Bitcoin can help refugees too but not a direct P2P but rather through a NGO since it will be very hard to convert that Bitcoin to Fiat when is closed.

We are assuming here worst case scenario which internet and banks is not available for everyone especially those heavily affected by the war. NGO is vital in times like this since they have access on financial tool outside the war country while they can freely enter to distribute funds.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 12:19:38 PM
What are your thoughts on this? When you bet with crypto do you find it easier or harder to fund multiple accounts?

This aspect of funding is the most important thing to always considers because we are not going to be active in the two account or more if we are not having money in them to use for gambling, now it's more of how we can afford funding multiple accounts if our source of income is capable or not, assuming that gambling were to be free without the use of money, that would have been a different case, there's no benefits in having multiple casinos without using anyone of them because they lack funding to use in playing a bet while gambling.

Funding multiple doesn’t make sense if you will just bet normally since you can’t play on multiple casino simultaneously. The only reasonable explanation to do that is when you are doing arbitrage that requires bet on opposite side of same match using different casino odds.

But funding both account at the same time is a waste of time and transaction fee since you can focus only on one casino then transfer funds to other one omce you are done.
549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which sites to go to gather Crypto information and news? on: November 01, 2023, 04:38:09 PM
Hi everyone!

Which sites do you go to everyday for general crypto information and news??
I visit Cointelegraph.com and coincu.com.

Please let me know which site you visit often.
What do you recommend?

Cheers

Forget about cointelegraph because they are worthless piece of shit with their recent fake news on twitter.

Cryptopanic.com is the best source of news because it’s a news aggregator meaning it has a lot of source for their news and combine it to their website. It’s the most reliable news outlet since it gives update in real time event from different news channel platform.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: November 01, 2023, 02:18:39 PM
Generally, when the global financial situation is good, there is a positive movement in all types of business, including the stock market of different countries. But the crypto market always behaves differently. As we saw in covid-19 when all types of financial institutions went bad crypto was bullish state.

You probably didn’t know what really happened to crypto when Covid-19 first hit hard the global economy. Bitcoin price plummeted from 10K to 3K level that time. Bitcoin just recover quickly than the rest of the global market due to the news of institutional investors entering crypto market.

But in general, Bitcoin is still affected on what’s happening on the global economy it’s just Bitcoin is so resilient which FUD doesn’t last longer and the hype is very strong to push the price quickly in upward movement.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 01, 2023, 11:47:45 AM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

Around 1000$ with just a 15 minutes of high wagering due to chase loss. On the bright side, that amount amount is just my profit for my 1 month of slow phase gambling. Anything can happened on gambling including losing big time within just a few minutes of intense game.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago

This is painful especially if this money is your total bankroll because it seems like a life savings. I knew high roller losing million dollar instantly but they have high bankroll so they can recover immediately or doesn’t care much about that loss.
552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is reported by Senator Cynthia Lummis on: November 01, 2023, 11:28:19 AM
Fiat is use to fund many terrorist activity so this means that they should sue the central bank for being tools on transferring funds to illegal organizations? US government is doing anything to hurt crypto in general.

Binance freeze all the account related to Hamas with their own accord. I’m not sure why this senator view this the wrong way while while Binance did a very good job on cutting funding for this terrorist group. This is a joke lawsuit and I’m sure that this will be put on the garbage.
553  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: November 01, 2023, 10:29:29 AM
Meanwhile, Bitcasino.io launch another Bitcoin Predictor November. Do not forget to place your price, guys.
Wow Bitcoin Prediction Contest comes again for Bitcasino, although I just heard it has been talking on several pages before but this I will feel how to predict the price of bitcoin in this November.

Some say Uptober, it really happened the price to $34K became the highest price of the year, now only entering November, but there are others who say we will soon Novembull again will bitcoin be possible to the $40K area? It feels very curious my friend. Cheesy

We will enjoy this contest.

There’s a high chance that Bitcoin will continue to pump since last quarter of the of year usually a bullish season for Bitcoin. I will not be surprised if in the coming weeks the price is already near the ATH since 34K is holding strong right now and the price is already consolidating on this level.

This Bitcoin prediction contest of Bitcasino is well timed to the current bullrun of Bitcoin. I just hope that there will be no major FUD happened in the market until the halving arrive. I’m really excited on the new ATH next year!
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool almost empty? on: November 01, 2023, 10:20:58 AM
But as I have said, it could be different when the bull run arrives as there could be a lot of transactions and everyone wanted to go first in the line and might increased their fees to get confirmations.

I doubt that we will experience heavy volume of transactions during bullrun since no one is selling that time but rather retail is buying more Bitcoin and hold. The only way the network will be flooded again if there is some kind of shit happened on BRC20 that cause to fluctuations of dust transactions but regular transactions from regular holder will never flood that much the mempool.

Fees might increase but because Bitcoin fiat value is increasing and not due to the increase volume. Since sending Bitcoin on exchange is a one time transaction and doesn’t need multiple transactions that will cause huge volume of tx.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you any of pump groups or Channel ? on: October 29, 2023, 07:24:19 AM
Im on with notourious powerpump team yesterday they pumped yfi i made nice profit with them.
Tell me your experince about pump ? My experinces are good to be honest most of money i Made with pump.
I remember when ETC pumped i Made from 10$ to 500$ in few hours i don't Understood why people don't like pumps it's really great i have made real money from pumps.

Today poweroump team will pump LTC let's see how high they
 send it

Because 99.9.% of pump group is scam. You are just lucky that you manage to purchase earlier before anyone or else your money will be use as exit liquidity by those who post that pump signal.

Most of the pump group has an inner circle group which who purchase earlier before they will release the signal to the public. Their blind and dumb follower rush to buy without doing research that’s why the price is pumping until the inner circle group take profit and the rest of member first come first serve. This is a ponzi scheme which you are competing to each other on buying early and selling quickly in profit. This is already gambling rather than trading.
556  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake Balance Glitch on: October 29, 2023, 07:13:57 AM
I can't post a picture here idk what to do says 'does not support picture here'

Use talkimg.com to upload picture then post the bbcode of the image here in forum. It’s either you will purchase copper membership or rank up to make your image post visible. For the meantime sharing the link of the image is the best thing you can do yo post image here for proof.

I didn’t follow completely your issue but do you already check your betting history because you might accidentally multiply bets when the system is on glotch to easily spot the questionable bet.
557  Economy / Lending / Re: (LOAN REQUEST) 15.23 LTC - 0.031 COLLAT on: October 29, 2023, 05:46:31 AM
LOAN AMOUNT: 0.031 BTC/ $1650
REASON: PERSONAL
REPAYMENT: 18LTC OR BTC EQUIVALENT
REPAYMENT DATE: 08/11/23
COLLAT: 1150 USDT

Your collateral is much lower than the amount you are borrowing. Even bank will never allow this kind of collateral which they are in loss already the moment they approve your loan.

You should request loan amount much lower than your collateral if you are really serious on asking for loan. This is an instant profit for you when someone fill your loan since you have nothing to lose with your newbie account.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 29, 2023, 05:43:38 AM

Mostly the new gambler understand the fact it’s hard to chase the loss in the real gambling games.Nearly the 20 percentage of the loss will be covered by the gamblers, but the reaming loss can be covered if they ready to play the game till the end.In order to recover the loss in the gambling, the gambler should train himself to get the loss money with the full effort. It may take time, some times few days and sometimes it take over some years. But the gambler should wait to meet the loss money to the profit from the same gambling sites. It may be added some more dollars in the regular way to get back the loss.

This is easy to say than done since we are talking about gambling and not trading. People gamble because they want a quick profit. It’s obvious that anyone with losses on gambling will do the quickest way as much as possible to recover their losses. Playing slowly to recover losses is a good idea but that kind of patience level is very hard to apply on gambling since people will not gamble if they have that patience.

This chasing loss is the typical error of players which the casino really like that’s why they give some cash back feature just to encourage user to play since they some insurance when they lose.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anti-Gambling Tools on: October 29, 2023, 03:44:13 AM
I'm curious if any of you have faced a similar situation and if there are tools or methods you've found effective in controlling crypto gambling. It feels like most platforms lack daily limits or deposit controls, making it a bit challenging to stay on track.

Would really appreciate any advice or recommendations from those who've been through something similar.

There’s such tool like this that will help you avoid gambling rather than completely getaway on any form of online access that will lead you to gambling or put your money on a financial manager that will control your expenses. The best way to counter gambling addiction is when you don’t have accessible money whenever you have the urge because it’s very hard to avoid gambling especially when you are alone and you have all resources available to do it.

Have a good social life and busy schedule to fill all your vacant time that you can use for gambling purposes. Relying tool that you are still the one in control on how setup is useless. You need someone to look out for you since addiction can’t be done by self control without a guidance by someone that doesn’t have any influence of gambling addiction.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have we seen the lowest low of this bear market? on: October 28, 2023, 04:55:28 PM
Since the FTX crash I listened a lot to Gareth Soloway and Nicholas Merten from Datadash. Both expected lower lows. Soloway even expected BTC to get under 10k at some point. With the recent price rise I'm a bit worried that the ship has sailed. In his most recent video he no longer mentioned these lows. He even mentioned a 50k possibility for this year.

What are your thoughts? How big of a price rise do you expect if an ETF gets approved?
And is a scenario of World War III (Israel + USA + NATO vs an alliance of Islamic countries) bullish or bearish?

Most of the social media influencer usually give prediction based on current trend because that’s the most logical thing to predict due to trend that time. They also doing this to quench most of there listener speculation since it’s common nature of trader to wish for more dump when the price is dumping so that they can buy lower and same when the price is pumping so that they sell at higher price.

Predicting based on the current trend gives influencer a bit of support from their followers instead of opposing them. Surely they will mention again the lower lows prediction and quote their previous statement when Bitcoin price becomes bearish. They always play safe when it comes to prediction.
