541  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans bomb Doctors Without Borders hospital again - this time in Syria on: February 16, 2016, 11:23:17 AM
Perhaps someone at the mission control misunderstood something about the expression "surgical strike", or they used the wrong maps again :/.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk about MaidSafe coin on: February 16, 2016, 11:17:33 AM
What do you think about it? The price is currently rising, over 300% in the last month and Safecoin hasnt been released yet.

As I heard the devs planning to release it in about two weeks (https://www.reddit.com/r/maidsafe/comments/460kov/roughly_14_days_or_less_until_launch_of_safe/) so I think we'll see a big(ish) pump/price rise in the coming weeks.
543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS AND TERRORISTS ARE NOT MUSLIMS on: February 16, 2016, 11:00:15 AM
This kind of "there were lot worse killers in human history than us" argument looks a bit flawed for me. I don't care who killed who 70, 200, or 2000 years ago. Muslims are a present and future danger, therefore they are something we have to take care of.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Edvard Snowden support madesafe!? on: February 16, 2016, 10:43:12 AM
The only hit for this on Google, is your topic. So if he supports maidsafe he's not doing that very vocally Smiley.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 within 16/2 ? on: February 12, 2016, 01:25:07 PM
A $20 rise isn't that much, so I can imagine testing $400 in a couple of days, but without the pressure from China I'm not sure if that will be a long lasting price rise.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: February 12, 2016, 01:09:53 PM
Lisk looks interesting. Unlike ETH it seems to be a working one Smiley. So followed, liked, joined, everything Smiley. Looking forward to the ICO.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there not more ETH clones?? on: February 12, 2016, 10:36:22 AM
It seems cloning ETH is getting profitable today. I think more clones are on their way?

Is it complicated to clone? not the usual copy and paste like LTC? else why are there only 3 clones after all of this time?

It's not yet finished. We'll see more clones once there will be a stable release.

Also ETH isn't something what someone can easily clone without considerable coding knowledge As most of the cloners have little actual programming skills and the step-by-step coin cloning guides are not much use here they are waiting for a new howto, I guess Smiley.
548  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A Syrian Rebel Leader Is Mourned on: February 09, 2016, 09:12:48 AM
The Saudis have so far spent close to $75 billion in Yemen. I am not sure how much they have poured in to Syria, but I suspect that it might be a similar (if not higher) amount. Now remember that their reserves are worth some $650 billion (compared to $775 billion a year and half ago). How long they will be able to afford such spending?

If they raise oil prices, then Saudis can support these terrorists for many many years. On the other hand with higher oil prices Russia can also afford testing more new gadgets on these "rebels", and Iran can also "pump" Assad.
549  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Syrian "refugee" attempts to rape 8-year old Danish girl on: February 08, 2016, 04:59:52 PM
You kidding? Oo
Maximum prison sentence around 3 years?

Don't know where you found your stats, but in France 83% of judged rapes are punished by prison, sentenced being between 7 and 9 years!
Sorry would only find a French link: http://www.agoravox.fr/actualites/societe/article/statistiques-de-la-police-et-de-la-55516

3 years max is really too low, I don't think it's accurate.

In Sweden and Germany you can get more jail time for tax evasion than for rape.
550  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam the Cancer on: February 08, 2016, 02:56:08 PM
hard to argue with militant athiets who refuse to make a distinction between a religion and what some religious people do because whatever you say they'll always come back with "but christians did mean things whatever # of years ago". old testament law was for a specific group of people to follow during that specific time. there is no commandment from jesus to his followers to impose it (or anything else)on the rest of the world at the point of a sword.

No problem. You know, if Islamist once in the future take over Europe, christians will be called to convert or pay the jizya, while militant atheist will be beheaded on the spot. By then maybe they will be able to realize the difference between christians and muslims Smiley.

551  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam the Cancer on: February 08, 2016, 11:27:11 AM
What? Are we still talking about religion? You know the shit about "the world has been created by god 5k years ago and evolution is just a myth"?
Same thing for Christians. It's just that most of our socities have less and less idiot Christians that's all.

Christians most likely not going to chop off any of your parts if you not acting as they like. They also not used to blow themselves off on crowded places. Most importantly if some of them would do the above mentioned things they surely not going to be celebrated as the heroes of christianity. So yes there are some objective measures what can make a given religion worse that others.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a currency with Proof Of Uptime ? on: February 08, 2016, 11:15:44 AM
this is essentially proof of uptime

I also want them to be geographically distributed. Otherwise it is possible to set a cluster of virtual nodes on the same physical machine with high uptime, and ping between them will be near zero...

Finding the geographical location of a host is an interesting question in all cloud(like) environments. I'm afraid a that's not going to work without a GPS device. As an alternative, you can investigate the next routing hops, but trace route not allowed on many networks, so that might or might not work.
553  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thousands of Migrants Stranded in Greece as Route North Is Narrowed on: February 05, 2016, 01:36:51 PM
It is interesting to see many heartless people in this forum. Those Syrian people are fleeing death. Those are moms protecting their children, and families trying to survive. Anyone with the same condition would've done it!

You know why? Because hundreds of bombs are dropped on their heads everyday by the tyrant Assad, Over half millions are already dead. They just need a no-fly zone areas in their country to feel safe and stay home.

btw, the same Syrian people welcomed 12 thousands refugees from Greece during World War II in Aleppo city alone. not to mention the rest of the Syrian cities. What a coincidence!

Actually you can see very few woman and children between these refugees. The majority of them are young males. Instead of fighting for their country and family they came here for living on benefits and harassing european woman.

As I see at this moment that so called "tyrant Assad" is the best option for Syria. Surely better than those bands of islamist riff raff what is his opposition.

12 thousand vs cca. 15 million... are you kidding?

Payment received, thanks Smiley.
555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Cryptsy can save itself on: February 03, 2016, 04:57:22 PM
Can BTC continue to increase in price with issues like these?  Some people will lose confidence in it because of the risks.

Only some 13000 BTC had been stolen from Cryptsy and that's nothing in comparison to the Gox theft. In addition a lot of altcoins also disappeared (2.5k-3k BTC worth LTC, BTCD and XC) what will be dumped for BTC at some point, I guess. Even 13k BTC wouldn't have too much effect on the prices.
556  Economy / Gambling / Re: looking for a gambling site that is fair ? on: February 03, 2016, 12:29:20 PM
You can share or give me advice where I can play games or gamble gambling sites that have a truly fair!

Most of the sites here are provably fair. But if you want to be sure go for the bigger/older sites with good reputation, and let others testing the brand new sites Smiley. Always do a search on this board for a given casino before you make any deposits, you will find out quickly from the feedbacks if there are any issues with that site.
557  Economy / Gambling / Re: BEST AUTOBET STRATEGY? on: February 03, 2016, 12:23:56 PM
Autobet is an excellent tool to make 0.1 or 0.0 from 0.01 with lightning speed Smiley. According to my experience the only way to make 0.1 from anything <0.1 if you are lucky and you have control over the "process". With autobet you surely giving up on the control part.
558  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racism is a real thing (this thread is extremely racist) on: February 02, 2016, 04:42:02 PM
But it's all a question of how long will the races exist? Because the more time passes, the more we go through mixing the races!

Hopefully long enough. That's something called biodiversity, and that's good for us Smiley. Traditions and cultural diversity is also tightly connected to identity of smaller groups (nations, tribes, local communities, families). If you pour all of these people into a blender and mix them, finally you will get a brownish mass of people with little genetic diversity (as the dominant genes will outplace the relative recessive genes). All these people without traditions, group identity and the only horizontal cultural diversity will be something like what football team they are supporting. Leftist/liberal wet dream. Isn't it?
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Custom indicators for use in predictive models on: February 02, 2016, 04:24:54 PM
I see what you did with the Ethereum Grin

Dump prediction indeed seems problematic.

The reduced profit in coins like DASH and ripple, NBT could imply that the coin itself has fundamental issues, like premine or the coin rules could be less fair (weak decentralization, other issues).

However the thing that surprised me was Litecoin.

According to my experiences, some issues like weak decentralization can be interesting or even impressing for some people.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No talk on Capricoin & Vizionary ? on: February 02, 2016, 03:01:27 PM
I have done a research by myself on capricoin but it only leads me on this thread, was wondering why there are no threads about capricoin when the op clearly stated that they are better then litecoin, I've gone to the site he mentioned and don't like the package at all the package are to high for average investors..

Looks like a common MLM/pyramid scheme. Why would you want to waste money and time with this?
