5421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: November 30, 2016, 07:19:51 AM
Do we really require a bank for bitcoins as we are already well secured with wallet systems. The wallet system is so comfortable and adequate. It reduces our time and energy. We do not require to reach a place or someone for any transactions. All are inbuilt in wallets.

Internet banking is as convenient as the wallets you mention. Smiley
If you use a web wallet, then banks can be considered much safer as well.
Actually, even if you're using hardware wallet or any kind of high-security wallet it's not much safer than when you're saving your money on bank. If your bank accounts were hacked then you will get the replacement fund immediately and the bank will be responsible of it while if you use some sort of bitcoin wallet and getting hacked, there's no one will be responsible for this problem but you
5422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 30, 2016, 07:11:20 AM
Indeed, the future of bitcoin is bright, in another 2-4 years it will be huge.

The slow confirms are not a problem.
The slow confirmation will be a problem if you're wanted the transaction to be done urgently but you need to wait for at least one confirmation which rarely takes more than 15 minutes for an average time needed for a transaction to be confirmed and luckily less than 15 minutes.

you're not considering it as a problem. that's okay. maybe you're not transacting so often hence you never really got the experience of waiting confirmation to arrive

To online transactions like purchasing online wherein it will take some time before they send you your items there is no problem. But when we use bitcoin in paying for a cup of coffee in a shop the long confirmation will be a big issue since some confirmation took a 2 to 3 hours time before it is completed. And so if you are a customer you will wait long before you can leave the shop. But another thing, if the shop owner is open minded after checking the blockchain you are allowed to go. But this issue of slow confirmation should not be left aside since big merchants see this as a problem.
well that's right that the merchant could do some steps to check whether the transactions are sent without any intention of cheating by seeing the transaction histories and the fees were spent for each transaction by the sender. but still the confirmation is needed if the merchants are seeking the safest way to deal with their customer.
5423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 29, 2016, 07:51:20 AM
For me this is impossible to used by buying bitcoin because most of the addict in drugs or users are wanting to buy drugs personally they do not want to send their money first to the people did not know to buy drugs.
Hm it seems like you do not know anything about illegal activities which relate to Bitcoin. There are many drug sellers use bitcoin in order to hide their identity. On deepweb and darknet, you can easily find a site which sell drug and they only choose Bitcoin for payment method.

Yes, it is the fact that some users from darknet are using bitcoin for their illegal activities and that’s the matter of worry for us. We should find some solution for this issue because ultimately it is damaging the image and goodwill of bitcoin. Governments will have concrete reason to impose ban of the whole bitcoin in their territories so we shouldn’t stay refrain from such activities and must find some practical solution for such issues.
They are doing it because they can and bitcoin is a great currency for that as it's anonymous, we can't control them but they help us anyway.
help in what factor? i think they're just like ordinary bitcoin users who just spent their bitcoin to get some stuff so their activities will be considered normal in blockchain and the difference is they're will receive illegal stuff. i think they don't really help community but just making the image bad.

and keep in your mind that bitcoin is not fully anonymous because your transaction are stored in the blockchain
5424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: November 29, 2016, 07:46:46 AM
Usually,  I'd take advantage of the situation and would gladly sell it  but since I'm keeping myself from spending my bitcoins to keep as many bitcoins as much as possible.

I will not do anything, Just continue to hold my bitcoins as usual. This is just a safe approach, Most traders might take the risk to earn more.
the fluctuation of bitcoin might make your bitcoin which you were holding not worth as much as before thus you've missed many opportunities to keep your wealth stay on its amount and value. holding bitcoin which is volatile also having some risk. even though it's about the value you deserve to get at the current rate of the time
5425  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: November 29, 2016, 07:38:02 AM
I see it as a very good event for bitcoin adoption
this will not only add an option to pay with bitcoins for you favorite games, but, possibly make young gamers who are not familiar with bitcoin
interested in that weird B shaped symbol that you can pay for your games with hence increasing cryptocurrency audience among the youngsters

I'm seeing steam's adoption of bitcoin as good advertisement to their million players who are using their platform. And for sure this can be a good way to make the demand of bitcoin even higher because many will see that by using bitcoin. It will give them more convenience and easy way of paying their in game items for purchasing it.
Well, it's just an image appear on payment method. doesn't attract so many users I guess. Some may get interested and gonna checking out after that, but the rest will don't give attention. Though most of the people don't care about payment option. they just use what they have and they're done with the business

5427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: November 29, 2016, 07:26:35 AM
That's probably because they're fearing for their national currency, which is probably in great troubles now, or they wouldn't do it.
If their national currency (local fiat) is in trouble of having such a high inflation then their economic will also be in trouble. For the sake of keeping their economy stay in good condition then they don't have any option but banning bitcoin. It's not wrong for them, but maybe bitcoin can be an alternate option there if government just limit the usage of bitcoin. Though it's impossible to really limit the usage of bitcoin unless they put effort into it
5428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: November 28, 2016, 09:28:31 AM
Not really it's against bitcoin because Satoshi had not set any rules and regulations while creating and launching bitcoin so we have full freedom of our money. We can even hold our money or use it for online transactions

yes i am sure that we can store our bitcoin for ourself and its not against with bitcoin and i am believe that satoshi will not disallow us to store or keep our bitcoin into our wallet.
if satoshi does regulate bitcoin to such thing then it's really against what people said. bitcoin is freedom so it'll be the right for any bitcoin users to use their coin as their wants, whether they're going to save it or spend it doesn't really matter. and not against bitcoin
even if bitcoin being used for illegal things like what've been happened on darknet. it's the right of the users
5429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2016, 08:26:38 AM
pokemon go player decrease in a huge amount because of there always new update

Exactly especially if you do live on a third world country in which must of the people uses cheap smart phones. Everytime they do an update obviously the requirement also increase. Regarding to this, it is already off topic tho.

The possibility only is that if the user decrease the potential of this idea also does
Well there's also a good cheap smartphone are getting around in third world countries such as those stuffs which was made originally in china or Chinese phone
it's indeed not as good as the popular brands if you're looking it from the quality but the specs are decent. really cheap but useful I'd say especially for those who can't afford even a phone which cost $150 upper
5430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 28, 2016, 08:24:12 AM
I think the main difference is freedom and control of your own wealth, just imagine I have transact with Bitcoin this morning with ease and very low transaction cost, and also sure that my information will not be stored and used by anyone

You are wrong with it, if you are using coinbase I have read some news that the US government is obliging coinbase to get the information of their customers.

The transactions covering year 2013 up to 2015, I'm not that updated if that is really a real news. That's the difference of bitcoin and real money.

Transactions in real money are charging high fees unlike with bitcoin fees are very cheap.
coinbase is not the only wallet available in bitcoin world and if coinbase was proven storing information about their customers just simply don't use it. use a usual desktop wallet or even hardwallet wallet then everything will be fine. though the transaction will always saved on blockchain means will be there forever
5431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2016, 07:29:59 AM
yeah we need to use bitcoin because bitcoin is very famous and stronger currency and bitcoin is very secure currency and maximum people want to store their money in bitcoin because bitcoin is safe currency.
how can you call bitcoin is a safe haven currency while prices dangat beganti sooner or arguably fluctuate? What do you think if someone asked about this to you?
I think bitcoin not exactly safe because the risk is high

I think the one you quoted is referring to the security of the coin.  The bitcoin you hold cannot be freeze by any  government because you alone have access to it.  Aside from that carrying bitcoin around is easy because you can save it in just a single piece of paper, or usb, or in your mobile phone.

About the fluctuation, this is the reason why bitcoin got the interest of investors.  Fluctuation that enable them to earn more.  Risk is always present in every investment so I think there is no difference if you invest in bitcoin or any other investment out there, with the use of bitcoin or real money

I don't get what you mean by the words I highlighted, you are suppose to check your post before hitting enter.

Anyway, it's real that bitcoin fluctuates and by putting your money in bitcoin it's already a risk, so no safe haven for me.

dangat beganti = greatly changed

if you're talking about security. the wallet itself really vulnerable to cyber criminals and once the information about yourself leaked such as a private email it'll really threatening your security. The only way is to enable double authentication to improve your security.

The bitcoin cannot be freeze by the government but can be seized like what just happened in Australia when they're auctioning the bitcoin they've seized from someone means it's possible
5432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 28, 2016, 07:24:39 AM
that must be suck few MLM could and few bad guys whose problem were exposed can really screw up bitcoin's image there. i'd recommend to show some infos about bitcoin to your beloved father and explain why it's trustful. some materials  could be found out in youtube. just search "bitcoin explanation videos" and everything you needs will be there.

in my country also having some MLM which use bitcoin as their currency after failing with fiat and it's really give bitcoin a bad impact among people here
5433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the you think is the best Crypto currency trading site? on: November 27, 2016, 06:03:06 AM
Lots and lots of trading and exchange websites were available for bitcoin buying, selling and for trading needs. Personally I feel ease of trading through localbitcoins.com, as it is understandable even for a newbie without someone's help.
i guess OP don't need a site to exchange bitcoin to fiat but an altcoins trading platform for trading purpose

honestly i will strongly prefer poloniex as its most known site for trading and have such a huge volume for 24 hours. the bigger volume the fastest transaction going and the demand and supply will be much more than a site which has lesser volume. and their support is not really bad i guess
5434  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: November 27, 2016, 05:57:45 AM
Panic selling means theres no tomorrow for bitcoin to up again.panic selling makes bitcoin price down day after day,and no chance to rise up again.
Definitely such an invalid reason stated by you. panic selling had already happened to bitcoin for multiple times and until now the bitcoin price could just go up easily and now even reached $700. Panic selling doesn't make things getting doomed, it's just a temporary selling trend and will eventually end
5435  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Manipulation is real on: November 27, 2016, 05:47:18 AM
Of course the manipulation is real. I'm just surprised at how late you realized it. I guess it's better late than never. I'm laughing at those who still claim it's all supply and demand, market volatility, blah blah blah, such stupidity abounds here on this stupid forum.

Supply and demand did always affected bitcoin price, I thought 'the manipulation' they discuss here about some big players (millionaire/company/exchanges) all these connected to rise and fall of bitcoin price. What kind of manipulation that you realized since the beginning except those I mentioned, if you don't mind to share.
not an actual manipulation we're talking about I guess. It's just bunch of whales trying to get the advantage of the current condition by dumping or pumping and it's such a usual thing. An individual who has about a billion dollar worth of bitcoin could affect bitcoin directly with and give such a big effect compared to demands which were made by hundreds of people but only have low amount of money
5436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is to storage private keys in the cloud? on: November 27, 2016, 05:39:52 AM
Why people insist in putting everything online? clouds, webwallets..

Just make an ring with your private key, make a tattoo under your feet, just don't trust on internet.
maybe to simplify when they're in needs of the private key immediately so they could just simply open up their cloud account and then take the private key. though cloud storage is not so secure. for an example when some celebrities' photos were taken from iCloud (yeah it's iCloud and was made by Apple). even cloud storage which was provided by a professional company like Apple and quite expensive also have a hole on it
5437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 27, 2016, 05:35:50 AM
I think it will be a long time until they are accepted in normal stores

Cities will probably adapt first though

This is true, that it will takes too long time until that the normal store will use the bitcoin as the method of payment like the adaptation of credit card to the normal stores and most of small stores do not accept that credit card until now.

almost every small stores in developed countries are accepting things like credit card or debit card. they just simply provide an EDC machine and they're now could accept any kind of cards freely. and i think if they don't provide this thing on their shop they will lose potential buyers
5438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This man sells his cattle for Bitcoin in Zimbabwe! on: November 27, 2016, 12:15:39 AM
i think its good deal that he want to sell his cattle for bitcoin and i think we can use bitcoin with easily and if someone send bitcoin to this person if someone is same country of this cattleman then its possible.
Yeah using Bitcoin for the payment currency is such a good option especially if he'd live in Zimbabwe. Their currency fluctuation is overwhelming. I guess no one is going to lift 1 kilogramme of money for a cattle instead of using bitcoin with ease. just hand him a phone and everything will be fine
5439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2016, 12:04:33 AM
Since the election of Trump to the new US President yesterday, many questions about Bitcoin arise.

Will he promote Bitcoin and make it a breakthrough? Will he even officially ban Bitcoin? Will he make such a bad economic (and monetary) policy that Bitcoin will be seen as an alternative for many?

What do you think, what will a President Trump mean for Bitcoin?
i doubt it changes anything for bitcoin, until he announces any changes for digital currencies that is. But when he won the election we saw a huge spike in the price of bitcoin because everyone was switching currencies to bitcoin.
Definitely. When he was getting elected the rate of USD is dumped hence people getting worried and then save it in the form of bitcoin. Though this not last so long and the US could recover their economy in just a few days afterwards. i guess the price was increased not only because the falling rate of dollar
5440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: November 26, 2016, 11:59:35 PM
The danger is the price it could be fall anytime and back into nothing. But I guess whales wont allow that to happen. They have invested so much money in btc so the chance of btc getting back into nothing is no chance atm.
what's those whales can do then. their funds are not unlimited yet they can't prevent what's going on with the price whether it's falling or increasing.
those whales who invested on bitcoin are actually seeking for the volatility so they can grow their funds and add its value by doing some price margin trading. they're not going to hold the price and just let it stay at the same place for a long time
