Is it because your rank is "Newbie". Posting image is not available at newbie rank. You must atleast rank up to Jr. Member in order to unlock this feature. You might want to try to purchase the special membership - Copper MemberIt allows even a newbie rank to post images by paying about 0.002 (not sure if the price changes over time). Yes, it is a good idea. If you want to post images even your rank is only Newbie. Then go and purchase a copper membership to Sir theymos. It won't cost too much. Your question is already answered right from the beginning by Sir Jet. You should lock the thread now or else it will be flooded with spam posts.

Well, congratulations. Looks like you're already rewarded with Negative Trust. I just want to inform you (if you haven't read the forum rules yet) that buying accounts or even selling it is strictly prohibited. Don't waste your time to buy accounts as you will only end up with Negative Trust ratings. Please learn to read the forum's rules sometimes. It will only take a few minutes. Poor humans

Politics and Society section really is a trash site. It is maybe because there is no assigned Moderator(s) in that area before, until now. I don't actually visit that section too much but, if I only have enough knowledge to be a moderator. Why not? I will be proud to volunteer to myself to Moderate that trash site and clean all junks there. I know there is no benefit by volunteering in that section and it will be difficult but its worth it because it will clean up all the mess and will lessen all shitposts which will help the forum to improve. A responsible moderator is really necessary. For now, all I can do is to support whoever is willing to volunteer. But from the list Sir theymos provided. I will vote any from these five. 1. LoyceV 30% 2. Flying Hellfish 30% 3. Vod 25% 4. Nullius 10% 5. Iasenko 5% The percentage represents how much I would like to give my vote. All of them are responsible and trusted members of this Forum. I would also like to vote Sir rickbig41 but he's already a moderator in Philippines local board. Monitoring and moderating two section at a time is a little difficult (I guess). Also suggesting Sir Jet ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

About Jet's (Sir Jet) Thread you were talking about. I think this is it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3081595.msg31781653#msg31781653titled "The English language improvement thread". I always keep important threads like this one so that I cam be able to retrieve its informations. Well, I like your thread as well. You're trying to help other people who can't speak or write English fluently. But, in my opinion. I think it is much better not to rely on these tools just to improve writing English. If a person really wants to improve his/her English vocabulary, He/She will spend some time just to study English. But I'm not saying that your suggestion are not helpful. All I'm trying to say is, to those people who really want to learn English language. They must conduct studies about English, reading English books and researching about more English words are better and a good idea too. But to those people who can't even spend minutes of their time to study English language. These tools are highly recommended

I would share Merit if I had but sorry, I entered forum 2 months later than it was needed.
But, your rank, when you reach it, will be sort of more deserved then these joined before. Because before that you could just just post anything (like "What a great idea", "I agree with you") for the whole day and thats it, you get you rank when you posted " ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) " enough times. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I can't barely understand you because of your broken English grammars. But I think you are giving a wrong advice to Sivainvest ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Posting such "What a great idea", "I agree with you"
just to rank up is WRONG. It has no difference from spamming the thread.

I saw a bunch of topics that were very informative, especially for those who are new on the forum or in the cryptotrading. And what do we get? We get the following: old and experienced members dont find these topics informative or interesting, because they already know the most things that were told in them. But for newbies (not rank) these topics are the real treasure.
I believed this part is true. Yes, you are a right OP. I still believed that there are some posts out there made by newbies where it is very informative. But like what you said, high rank members don't find it interesting which is also true. Let me tell you something, actually yeah some high rank members are sometimes (or often) not interested in topics made by Newbies, it is maybe because they already know what the topics discussed all about or they're not really interested. But actually, it doesn't matter if high rank members are not interested in a particular topic you made. It doesn't matter if you're post didn't even receive a single Merit although its a perfect symmetry. The most important thing is, you create a informative thread/posts to helps and educate your fellow newbies/beginners. Don't count how many constructive and informative posts you have made, instead, count those Members that you can be able to help. Sharing knowledge is the most important thing, even when Merit System is not yet implemented. I'm sorry if I'm a little bit off topic but I hope you get what I'm trying to say. Without that, i see the sad painting, where new forum members reaps their buts making the really good topics and dont get anything for it. And on the other side: high ranked members just live in their own world of the same rank members and dont give a thing about any other people. Yeah, some high rank members doesn't even care about helping Newbies. But it's only "some". There are still a lot of Hero and Legendary members who are giving good considerations for newbies. They are helping Newbies, Jr. Members, Members, Full Member and Senior Members to rank up if they really deserves it. If you agree and find it useful, you can share merit for me.
This made you a Merit beggar ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Jajajaj... Oh!! This is Poetry!!!! Joyce would be jealous...
I really feel there are many boards totally and complete contaminated by this kind of shitposters. "Beginners $ Help" feels like a loop, every day the same questions about the "begging system"; "Bitcoin Discussion" sometimes is a total joke with too many people trying to look brilliant, but when you pay attention to their words all you can do is to burst out laughing. I prefer to avoid the "Economic" because it seems full of scammers, and there is no longer interesting posts... But, whatever, this is normal, we are too many around here.
I agree. Almost all of the topics in Bitcoin Discussion are spams. They're not even discussing about Bitcoin anymore, that's why I'm not visiting Bitcoin Discussion more often now, it seems like shitposters already invaded Bitcoin Discussion, just the same with Economic. Meta section is the only place here where some topics catches my interest, but as we can see. Spammers/shitposters are now starting to invade Meta section. Newbies and farmed accounts are posting topics repeatedly which is annoying. To OP, Well it seems like shitposters/spammers are not posting one to two liner posts anymore ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) They are now posting posts with more than 500 characters, but the content is still nonsense. They are just making their posts long so that people will be attracted to Merit their posts. Because of the long content, there is a possibility that people might think that their posts are conducted by research and effort for the first time you look at it, but the truth is, when your starts to read it, you will only witnessed a Spam post with a nonsense content and broken English words. Some people here missed the chance to know that a Good Quality of post isn't based on how many lines of sentences does a post have, they didn't know that it is based on how Good the contents are.

Many members had mentioned this problem when merit system was launched. After, you have given merit to a post, if you refresh the page same number of merits are given to same user again. For instance, you give 5 merits for a post and refresh the page, he will get 5 more merits.
Though I am surprised that this is not fixed yet by the admin as it is a major bug in my opinion.
I'm sorry Mr. But I think you're mistaken. Though, you were right about the bolded part of your sentence. Its true that when you refresh the page after sending sMerit, sending sMerit will be repeated and the amount of sMerit you sent will be sent again. But, before it happens, a message box will appear first confirming that if you return to the to the page, your recently action (Sending sMerit) might be repeated. It will only repeat if you click "Continue" button and I think the OP didn't clicked it. He also didn't mentioned anything about this message box so it means that he didn't refreshed the page after sending sMerit. Maybe he just accidentally clicked the "send" button again. Because if he really refreshed the pages, the message box will appear. This is the message box I am talking about. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FvEzpmhG.jpg&t=663&c=_vb-sWqeNQe9iw) Edit. Image resized, Thanks for reminding Mr @edwardceng.

Maybe you just double clicked the "send" button ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Maybe you touched "send" button when you were trying to refresh the page after sending 1 sMerit that's why it doubled the sMerit sent. There are already some Member here who experienced the same issue when sending a Merit. They said that maybe it's a bug or something, but the truth is they just clicked the send button twice. When you clicked send button and the page starts to load, although the page's loading didn't completed (due to slow internet) or it happens that you cancelled the page's loading after a minute, the amount of sMerit you entered in the textbox will still be sent.

I think it's not necessary. You are intending to make an experiment to become an example for beginners am I right? Well, that really is unnecessary at all. There are already some Jr. Members who ranked up to Member and I think its enough to prove that the ranking system is working, and those Members who ranked up are enough to be an example for other Newbies and Jr. Members. Actually earning Merit is not too difficult IF you're contributing well and making Good Quality posts here in the Forum. Other Members prefer to do bounty hunting and some are spamming that's why they can't receive any Merits. Well, it is their choice anyway. Merit System was implemented to force those spammers to improve their posts, to force them to make a Good Quality of posts. When Merit System was introduced, they were given a second chance to improve themselves and to stop spamming. But, some members seems like they just wasted the opportunity as they are still spamming here in the Forum, well we can't do anything to force them now. It is their choice if they don't want to rank up. Besides that, I'm pretty sure that some Hero and Legendary Members won't make it to rank to Member if they create a new account. I'm sure that not all of them are Good Quality posters. Some high rank Members just reached their rank because of the old ranking system which is based on Activity count. They are the one who must accept this challenge if they can really make it to Member (and also if they only want to accept this challenge). Well OP, it seems like you're a good poster. There's no doubt by looking at your Merits. (I hope you didn't earn it in wrong ways because I'm not gonna check your Merit history as I believed that you're a Good poster). I'm sure you will make it to rank to Full Member soon. Be an inspiration to other Members ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Use yourself as a good example for other beginners. That solves your problem

Thanks for sharing this information Sir. Looks like we're now dealing with this another problem of the Forum. Just a clarification, how actually can they get paid using your profile? For example, they join a signature campaign using your profile and username but the address is the idiot's (impostor's) address, but you are wearing a different Signature. Is the Campaign Manager will still pay them? It is not isn't? Because in order to get paid you must wear the Signature of the campaign where this idiot (impostor) joined. Am I right? I've heard about the same kind of Modus but all they used is other members's gmail when filling up an airdrop application. I'm pretty sure that this is not the only case if we will try to check all of the bounties's spreadsheets. Looks like they are now using a new Modus. Haaayst when will these idiots will learn to stop making frauds. Thank you for that idea mate I do hope it will work on my mobile phone. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Edit: Not working on my mobile phone but my big eyes can still spot these cheaters and I will hunt them. You can use the "Find and replace" function of the spreadsheet for Android phone to search a particular Name, address, etc. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FkZ0I9AM.jpg&t=663&c=puy-WLSayLqwBQ) It is much better than reading all the cells of the spreadsheet one by one

Could you please publish the list of users who qualified for payment? Just want to make sure I've done enough.
Or just add "Qualified" in the list of the participants in page 1. I will patiently wait for the payment before I remove my Signature

Same here, I checked out this thread having thoughts that it was a server down again. But there's no too much update, I thought newbies will flood the Meta section with earlier problem of the Forum but it seems like they are behave this time. Seeing "Error 526" in my browser gave me a little nervous and a bit happiness. A little bit happiness because I saw my own number in the error which is "5 26". By the way Teacher, I'm going out to make a snow man for a while. I'll be back in the chemistry class. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

A lot is happening but most of us doesn't care too much what it is.... New rules? New strategy? New members? New regulations? Don't care much, just have to accept it and go with the flaw of life.. .. be carefree...
Those who doesn't care about the new System will remains at their rank forever. If you doesn't care about it, it only means that you're not contributing here in the Forum and you just joined to earn Money. We didn't owned this Forum, we are just PARTICIPANTS, that's why in exchange we must contribute to the Forum's community. Don't care much, just have to accept it and go with the flaw of life.. .. be carefree...
I believed that its "Flow" of Life.
