Hi @Royse777,

I will be leaving the campaign for week 3 as I have been accepted for another one. Regarding the remaining payment for week 2, it is fine if I do not receive it. You can add it to another member who is going to receive week 3's bonus, or use it as you see fit.

Thank you so much @Royse777 for accepting me from your campaign.

One thing that comes to mind if I ever encounter an aqua business is the saying, "You are not a true fish farmer until you hit your first million".

However, I think it would be more interesting if you could share how you obtained the funds for the renovation, hospital bills, and establishing the aquabusiness. You see, it's hard to determine if these are just made-up stories without any context or explanation. Nevertheless, I appreciate you sharing your achievements."

The reason why I chose a fish farm business for my wife is that I don't see any stress in fish farming except for feeding and water changes.
It easier said than done. From what I know, you'd still need an ample amount of knowledge regarding water chemistry, aqua veterinary, and pipe fitting. Not to mention the need for marketing and maintaining a good supply of fish on your local for your business to become profitable in the long run.
564  Other / Meta / Re: Indian local Board Issue on: March 27, 2023, 02:40:31 PM
The Pilipinas section has also been inactive for months, possibly due to the accusations of a bitcointalk charity scam against cabalism which led to a lack of activity and merit circulation in our local section.

While there have been a few Filipino members who have expressed their desire for a new merit source, I am still guessing that the administrators are hesitant to appoint one, especially since the application of @crwth is still pending.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The End of the Bitcoin Mixing Service, Should We Worry about Our Privacy? on: March 26, 2023, 02:42:24 PM
Mixing services is just a part of many privacy related methods when dealing with bitcoin isn't it?

I mean you still have the option to create your own full bitcoin node[1] to avoid leaking information about your transactions and balances to third parties, avoiding KYC-compliant P2P services, using wallet with coinjoin[2] functionalities and practicing coin control[3].

566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you updated about machine learning tecniques that useful to trading? on: March 26, 2023, 02:15:53 PM
Last time I heard, machine learning was being used in "Algorithmic Trading", where trading bots follow your trading strategy religiously and execute orders for you automatically based on the rules you've programmed into the bot (e.g., volume, price, ML models).

I cannot thoroughly explain which ML algorithms out there have the most accuracy in predicting some kind of price action on the financial market, but there are some good resources that explain the use of ML, such as "Advances in Financial Machine Learning" by Marcos Lopez de Prado[1]. This book covers topics such as data structuring, ML research, supercomputing methods, and others that use data science and programming. However, the book can be difficult to understand, especially if you do not have a background in hardcore programming, data science, and statistics.

But here is the caveat: even though using ML models for trading can give you an edge over other traders, you must still remember that there is no mathematical model that can miraculously predict the price action of a certain stock or crypto. Remember that price movements largely depend on billions of individual traders happening in real-time, as well as other fundamental factors such as legal issues, media presence, or perhaps the company's financial status.

At the end of the day, algo trading or using a bot in trading is just a complementary tool that you can use to improve your current trading strategy, and it is obviously not a "cheat" to instantly grow your money. You still need to upskill your analytical and risk management skills.

567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 26, 2023, 01:30:44 PM
You are better off calling for some help[1] if you think that chasing loses would justify the closure in terms of gambling! Come on mate, its 2023, you can't just ruin your life because of some stupid reddit post.

568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country tax your gambling winnings? on: March 26, 2023, 10:43:04 AM
Lucky for us here in the Philippines that we don't have such a law of taxing gambling winnings. If the government decides to tax our winnings then probably most of us will stop gambling or maybe corruption will arise because many will bride the tax collector just to pay small amount as tax.

In our country where cockfighting is legal and some cockfighting enthusiasts will win a couple of million of pesos within a day then that could be huge money for the government.
The taxation of gambling winnings in the Philippines is a subject of debate, as the country's tax code lacks clarity on the matter. However, it is important to acknowledge that all gambling winnings are subject to taxation, and the specific amount owed depends on the type of gambling activity and the total amount won.

As far as I know, if an individual's gambling winnings are below PHP 10,000, they will be required to pay a 10% tax on the earnings, and 20% if however, their gambling winnings exceed PHP 10,000. It's worth noting that if an individual wins at a casino, the operator is responsible for reporting the winnings to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). However, it's unclear what the tax implications are for winnings obtained from offshore casinos.

It's important to mention that small-scale gambling games commonly found in local neighborhoods are exempt from taxes. These include raffles, small-scale lucky draws, and bingo or any other gambling games that can be found on the streets.

If there are any instances of tax evasion, it is likely due to the law not being restrictive enough.

hirap magpa rank up sa international boards
Almost 2 years ako naka gather ng enough merits from being "Member" to "Legendary". I am not saying na nagmamadali ka pero kasi that is normally the amount of days it would take you to rank up. Siguro gagawa ako ng post dito sa local maybe within this week(or kapag sinipag ako) about sa pointers kung paano yung atake sa pag-post sa international boards to make your post interesting to read and not some fucked-up common opinionated post na madalas ginagawa ng karamihan.

Just like nay other members have said from before, "merit" is subjective.

As I was saying, gagawa na lang ako ng thread dito about posting guidelines na natutunan ko in my stay here for about 5 years. Baka makatulong para maging better poster kayo sa international boards and para hindi na umasa dito sa local. Kasi tama naman talaga yung sinabi ni cabalism from before na hindi na ganon ka-active tong Pilipinas section.

our local board already became inactive, most of the users posting there are just the old ones which I don't find they need Merits and for the new ones, nah.
570  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Merit Cafe on: March 26, 2023, 08:51:27 AM
Na curious lang po ako sino po ba sana yung merit source natin dito dati?
Si @cabalism13.

Ito yung merit source application niya: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5136481.0
This one right here is his request na kulang yung sMerit na meron siya which is hint na accepted siya as our very first merit source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153158.0

And if you are wondering kung bakit siya nawala; Well according to him, there is a lack of evidence[1] as to why there are missing amount of money that have been donated to his bitcoin charity in the past[2]. Nakakapanghinayang lang kasi siya yung nilook-up kong member dito nung "Member" rank pa lang ako :v

571  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance suddenly haults all crypto trading services on spot! on: March 24, 2023, 01:17:09 PM
Yeah! I currently have my USDT deposit not being displayed on my spot wallet even though I have both received the in-app and email notification that the deposit has been successfully confirmed.

At first, I thought it was a stupid mistake of copying an incorrect address, and then I saw this post which I assume that it must be the cause of deposit issue.
572  Other / Meta / Re: Five legendaries you know with the highest posts/merits on: March 24, 2023, 01:06:54 PM
Check the animated chart created by @bitmover, which displays the merit earned by Bitcointalk members from 2018 until the present time. From there you can easily determine which of them belongs to the top 5 merit earners.

Posting each of their profile in the thread would be extremely cumbersome process, no?

573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Here on: March 24, 2023, 04:20:45 AM
All you need are:

- Become useful
- Only post when you have something interesting to say
- Learn any bitcoin related areas that interest you.

After that, merit will follow.
574  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Guy buys Ledger on Amazon... his crypto gets stolen... on: March 23, 2023, 08:56:46 AM
There is an Amazon official sellers[1] in every country right?

Plus there are ways where people can verify the legdger live[2] itself as well as the authenticity of the hardware wallet[3].

575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 23, 2023, 06:56:44 AM
Finally, a question I can answer.

In the past, when I participated in YoloDice's signature campaign, we were allowed to include our own referral code in our signature, which we could copy onto the website. After wearing the signature for a few months, I was surprised to learn that someone had used my code to create their own YoloDice account. This user happened to be a "whale," capable of betting a whole bitcoin.

To my surprise, thanks to YoloDice's referral bonuses, I was able to accumulate 0.1 BTC, which I withdrew immediately from the website. Imagine making a lot of money without making a sweat. And now I wonder how much money bitcoin gambling review sites can make out of referrals.. Shocked

Edit: @_act_. I meant 0.1 BTC
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Deflation in signature campaigns on: March 23, 2023, 05:05:29 AM
Apart from the implementation of the merit system, the discontinued chipmixer signature campaign just become another catalyst for other members to upskill themselves in terms of being articulate and experessing themselves more clearly. Because if not, there would be a surplus of forum members who can't earn even a single penny.

The point is, with the influx of ex-CM participants, there is an increase of pressure to maintain the quality of your post especially if you are on a campaign with a former CM participant. It just feels like you can be replaced anytime soon if you can't keep up with them and not do some legwork.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 23, 2023, 04:10:27 AM
Perhaps it has something to do with past results, especially if during the game, your previous bets resulted in consistent small wins which influenced your confidence to bet big without realizing that the house is primarily designed against you. Essentially, you are being blinded by small consecutive wins.

At the end of the day, it is still a game of chance and luck, and the only way to go is proper "risk management."

If not why are the reputable members of this forum not promoting the stake.com signature where there are always open slots in this campaign?
One reason maybe is they require a lot of post count while being underpaid in which most members disagree with.
578  Other / Meta / Re: Changing password and mail wrong thing? on: March 23, 2023, 03:08:53 AM
You can just sign a message from your previously staked address in this thread[1] if you are worried about your account being suspicious to other members (which isn't likely). Here is an example[2] of mine when I changed my email address like a few months ago.

It's pretty optional though since you don't need to prove yourself to other members especially if it is for security purposes.

When you decide not to trade or invest in something that you consider to be vapourware, you acknowledge the possibility that it could appreciate in value without feeling any regrets later on.

However, if your friends call you stupid for investing in something that you lack faith in, I swear I could just curse them to lose all the money they've made from that stupid coin.  Roll Eyes

You can refer to this list:

I didn't have first hand experience in using any of these services, but from what I have read, BTCPayServer is the most popular one especially if you want to accept bitcoin and lightning payments only. There are other simple options as well like MyceliumGear[1] and OpenNode[2]. However, these are 3rd party websites that aren't privacy friendly.

Also, I just checked your website and it looks like there are missing links on the markup since I cannot go back to the "INSTRUCTIONS" page when I am on the "CART" page. Just tested it using mobile and pc, and it's the same.
