561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 16, 2023, 04:15:44 PM
They do this because they're not traders but influencers, they only claim to be traders to connect with their audience as that's the perfect way they can use to influence them.
The fact is that some traders do live trading, if their portfolio is good and can be confirmed, then more and more people come to subscribe which makes them truly influencers by their profession. Affiliate programs are one form of passive income that can't be ignored when it comes from large companies.
562  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Remitano exchange allegedly hacked for $2.7M on: September 16, 2023, 09:48:01 AM
What I find curious is why the news appeared first on other websites before they announced the breach, and how did other websites find out that Remitano was hacked.
That's "alleged" news which means it has not confirmed yet, cointelegraph didn't refer to remitano's official news. Contributors to news sites work quickly with each other to publish articles (perhaps they have many drafts of articles).
The first one here is actually @CyversAlerts. I think these journalists follow these kinds of blockchain analysts on Twitter more for their article material.

Anyway, this is a funny case.
563  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Remitano exchange allegedly hacked for $2.7M on: September 15, 2023, 03:59:29 PM
Will this be a useless hack? Almost 90% of assets that are USDT (ERC20 and TRC20) have been frozen and the rest in ETH instead deposited into centralized services. What a strange hacker. https://twitter.com/CyversAlerts/status/1702566664758337770
564  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Bisakah Binance benar-benar menghentikan perdagangan BUSD pada tahun 2024? on: September 15, 2023, 02:36:17 PM
BUSD sama seperti beberapa pasangan koin stabil dimasa lalu yg mereka delist[1].

565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Common Bitcoin ideas on: September 15, 2023, 01:12:19 PM
in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space.
Ignorance determines the impression. Yeah, they feel lost while they still hold bitcoin in their hands.
To refute the paradigm that bitcoin is an "investment scheme" that can harm their finances, I think it's good to start teaching them by utilizing bitcoin right away. But, this is only limited to someone who has the will to do something that will pay them in bitcoins. I'm sure their impression will be different from before.
Most people don't really feel like they've lost if it didn't come from risking their money.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 15, 2023, 12:53:43 PM
First, note that for a trade to truly impact the price of bitcoin, the scope of the trade must be limited to the spot market or something else that actually moves supply.
Back to the OP's statement,
While the common approach is to view Bitcoin solely as a long-term investment, it's worth considering an alternative perspective – that of an active trader. By delving into trading strategies, it's plausible to generate a daily income ranging from $20 to $30, provided one has a sound grasp of the market dynamics.
if people take that perspective, maybe bitcoin isn't their priority because some assets actually have higher volatility to get profits that are closer to the daily income targets.
567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] NonKyc.io - Embrace Privacy and Security in Cryptocurrency Trading on: September 15, 2023, 12:19:00 PM
If you did your own research, you don't have to ask.

....
And we don't ignore, we are not very active on this platform. we use telegram, Discord, and our own Ticket system.

If you want to avoid us, please do so.
My question is from the results of my research based on the existing signs of contradiction. Unfortunately your answer isn't what I expected. Any platform is not your problem to answer if you basically have it, unless you don't.
But it's your right if you want to ignore this one, it's not just a personal choice to avoid, but it's also a red warning for everyone. Remember that open forums like this are more indexed in Google searches.
568  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Waspada Binance Palsu (Scam) on: September 14, 2023, 03:33:42 PM
Cara pemasaran APP kek gini biasanya pake metode "underground" ato bisik-bisik dan target pesertanya orang yg tua-tua 40-an keatas. Mereka kan biasanya sekali denger "cuan" emang lupa daratan meski udah banyak peringatan di internet. Namanya orang tua, kalo dikasi nasehat sama yg muda-muda kebanyakan di skip. Grin
569  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit expects to exit UK market on: September 14, 2023, 03:07:41 PM
I thought this already happened sometime back in 2021?

If I recall quite well, they even started blocking users from the UK. Was it just a bluff to please the regulators by announcing that they are exiting yet they did not?
Yeah, but OP's article explains that...
Quote
some exchanges have nonetheless been able to serve UK customers via reverse solicitation.
So, let's say previously bybit set up a service branch in the UK with permission so that they could also market products and services to UK residents. The new regulations (2021) remove their licenses and branches but do not restrict UK customers from coming to request service through any office outside UK jurisdiction.
The latest regulations now fully take customers as the object of protection, bybit no longer has the opportunity to serve UK users personally from any office jurisdiction.
570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: catex.io & dex-trade.com on: September 14, 2023, 02:26:11 PM
I also joined their official Telegram group, which is very active. Then I tried to ask some questions like why I can't transfer my tokens to any address and why their website still has the ICO page open. After that they blocked me on Telegram.
So it's a bullshit project, they prevent you from asking more questions which makes their community start to wonder why they stay.
I looked at both exchanges, it just looks like bot trading or fake orders. I suggest just forget about it, unless you're willing to spend a few dollars for network fees to get these tokens out of your wallet to the exchanges above.

I think this is one of the biggest reasons he keeps holding on.

Anyone tell me pls, is one of Musk's companies now adopting doge?

Sorry, but this doesn't make sense!

Let's assume that he had those $3 million at peak doge value, that's $0.731578, doge is -91.59% at $0.061578.
He would still have $246 575 so he just lost $4 000 of his initial investment.
Those numbers are impossible!
OP said he also borrowed money, if most of the doge has been sold to pay off the loan+interest it might make sense.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Tim Gurner wants Unemployment to increase. Employers have lost their power. on: September 14, 2023, 12:37:07 PM
Tim Gurner, the CEO of the Gurner Group, wants unemployment to increase so that people can be subservient to their employers as it used to be. He believes that since the pandemic gave way to working from home, employees now how too much power and have even go as far as s dictating the terms of employment to their employers.
Or conversely, employers with opinions like this are actual dictators who support a system of slavery. They think they can still stick to the old rule of "money is power". The Covid pandemic has actually helped employees to remove the shackles of dictation from previous bosses and opened up opportunities to find better economic stability variables. Covid is the new economic order.
573  Other / Meta / Re: where we can see the forum time? on: September 13, 2023, 04:01:29 PM
I was finding "forum time" section here:
No, it's not.
It adjusts your account's time setting if you change it, not the forum's default.

When in doubt, check the latest post in a private browser window. It'll give you the forum time.
Ninjastic tool also displays post history based on UTC time.
574  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apakah ada perbedaan sesudah naik ranking on: September 13, 2023, 07:10:41 AM
575  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can I make a loan with collateral with small interest on: September 13, 2023, 07:01:38 AM
The easiest way, look for physical borrowers around you. I think fiat loans aren't really a problem either. It can be exchanged for BTC on CEX or P2Pmarket after you get a loan. And assure them that you will be able to pay them back.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 13, 2023, 06:50:24 AM
In the crypto space, the term "DYOR" is known, meaning that every user is required to have at least a basic knowledge of how to research a project independently. You can determine which influencers are worth following within reasonable limits. Some influencers are not that bad, they really explain things according to reality.
577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance and multiple citizenship on: September 12, 2023, 01:09:39 PM
Update: Thanks to the news of Binance's airdrop[1] to Moroccan users with the requirement to complete verification, so apart from them applying for verification requests in addition to Proof of Identity (PoI), they also have Proof of Address verification (PoA)[2]. So all users can be asked to complete it at any time to ensure there is no misuse, for example by participating in their events such as charity programs only for a certain country.

578  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: September 12, 2023, 12:29:54 PM
You can not eliminate the middle man in businesses, especially in this digital age, be it fiat or cryptocurrencies, because they have come to stay. Big exchanges like Binance, are cashing in on being the middle man in businesses, an unavoidable indirect business associates, in your face, waiting for you to go through them.
Certain cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin are able to eliminate middleman technically, whereas in this case it is a user's need to adjust to business preferences, especially because cryptocurrencies must really pay attention to the level of trust of the second party.
As innovation develops in the crypto industry, the role of third parties can also be built into code which is usually called a smartcontract, although some of these sometimes have serious vulnerabilities that cause greater losses.
579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If they have the ability why would they sell? on: September 12, 2023, 10:19:57 AM
1. There is no proof of certificate that shows that the group owners are professional traders.
Usually signal owners post each of their entries in groups and people can conclude how often they close positions with profit results.
But yeah, no one can confirm whether the screenshots shared are belong to the owner or whether they're just forwarded from another signal group. Sensibly, professional traders wouldn't take money from noob traders that way.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 12, 2023, 09:51:44 AM
I just saw a big whale who feels threatened (again and always) with his portfolio. Is there any bad news ahead?
But seriously, that's just speculation which is really far from hope, not sure who among us will get the opportunity to sell the bitcoins own today at that price.
