561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies should gain broader payment gateway acceptance soon? on: October 01, 2023, 06:42:04 PM
The world is gradually moving into digital currency as a means of payment, which Bitcoin is a clean position used as a means of payment, because of popularity, then follow by Litecoin, Tron and Matic Coin, they are fast in transaction confirmation with a less transaction charge fees Blockchain and the above coin has already established in the cryptocurrency market and get more popular know coin.
Not gradually but majority have already moved here. This is the feature of payment methods and those who went early has an advantage. When you say BTC has a clean position, are you referring about its rank which is still at the first spot? Because if you are referring about the other, like for example about its effect to the environment, then you are wrong with that.

This is why many environmentalists are against BTC. The next to BTC is not Litecoin and the rest of the coins that you said but no doubt that they are faster than ETH and the others. BTC isn't fast enough and its fees were also a bit high sometimes but its only advantage is its wide range support.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 01, 2023, 11:09:34 AM
Brentford used to be a tough opponent to beat whenever they are playing at their home stadium but they suffered a loss against Everton in their previous home match. With their current form, I think they might struggle against Nottingham Forest today and their losing streak will continue and extend to 3 losses in a row.
With the current form and having results in last few games look like things are going into wrong way for them, and they have to bring changes into their strategy otherwise they can face serious problems in coming weeks right now they are having 14th spot with chances if they are not going to improve they can drop and then living near relegation zone is surely having pressure for any team.

Now we are having match against Nottingham Forest which is also on same level of performance, but currently they are improving and can go through in safe zone which could be big achievement for them in this season win against Chelsea is big booster for them and current Brentford form is another advantage.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 04:59:34 PM
I still don't know what's stopping Everton from going to relegation all these while, imagine them (Everton) playing very well in the last 2 games and now lost to a very struggling Luton side, I mean what's happening to this Everton team?
I was expecting another win to at least increase the morale of Everton but they were excellently poor.
Luton has a way to even do better in their next game at least they have their first win of the campaign. Let's see how they'll go about the next game against a firing Tottenham, anything can still happen.
I agree, this is really miserable performance from them in this game against newly promoted side which have their first win of this season with this defeat I have feeling they are lost on mindset as well because their mentality is completely down, and they are having not fair chance for the survival into this season after having two tough seasons of survival.

After having two important away wins against Brentord in Premier League and Aston Villa in EFL Cup now losing match in this way is surely not good sign now things are going from bad to worse for them which is clearly indicating they need to be competitive in future if they want to have better things next few matches are going to be completely dead deals for them specially against teams like Liverpool and West Ham.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is only Bitcoin and nothing else on: September 30, 2023, 05:33:22 AM
Bitcoin is the only coin to hold for a long time to earn from cryptocurrency.
It's not the only one, but it's probably the best one among all that can be held for long term.

A person can earn good amount from Bitcoin if he invests for a long time.
True but depends on the level of growth from when one buys and till when they sell their assets back. Buying during the peak and panic selling during the bear market wouldn't give the same output though it can be long-term logically.

There were many tokens in the past that are now dead, and investors who invested in those tokens lost a lot of money. Most shitcoins pump for a short period of time, but later those coins turn into scams, once those coins die they have no value.
Financial markets such as the cryptocurrency market require an investor to do thorough research and analysis before making any investment. If you go all guns blazing in trying to create great wealth through newly launched coins and tokens, you will probably face the consequences.

If we invest for the purpose of making a profit, we can never invest in any other coin except Bitcoin.
That's not true. There are several other cryptocurrencies that can also be pretty profitable apart from Bitcoin, though the trust level differs between Bitcoin and them, they are not all completely useless.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 29, 2023, 05:18:44 PM
I guess now Victor Osimhen is feeling regret because of what happened in the transfer window. He could easily join another team and leave Napoli, so they could not disrespect this palyer.
We know the relationship between Osimhen and Napoli is not good at all and obviously, he can even think about leaving. But the funny thing about Osimhen is Rudi Garcia saying there is not any problem between Osimhen and Napoli while we know he is not right.

He could not make decisions to leave the club then bur because of the love and loyalty he had for the club he stayed back. From what I have been seeing before now it seems Victor Osimhen is not really cool will Napoli. When Napoli won the Italian league some fans where complaining that Napoli didn't recognised all Victor's Osimhen efforts which he put in to make the club win the league.

I think Victor Osimhen is one of the best players Napoli has and he contributed to Napoli winning Italian league,  Napoli is supposed to  give Osimhen a special treatment to be comfortable in the club.
No one having any doubt about his contribution into win of the last season but as things going to happen right now surely needs to check by the Napoli management because they need to understand respect is important more than money, so they have to regret about their way of treating with his star player and just because of this now we have the good number of rumors about his future at this club even mostly feeling he is going to stay until end of this season but with this issue now we can expect any change in winter transfer window as well because few big clubs are looking for the top quality striker, and he is complete package for them.

Napoli which is currently defending their title is having not good time so with this mess-up most chances they can face more consequences in coming weeks even if they lost their star player then most chances their spot into top four could be in trouble which is surely not good deal for them.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: September 28, 2023, 08:32:00 PM
The crypto bear market is far from over. Although the Bitcoin price is consolidated between $25k and $27k, one can not surely predict that the market is ready to pump. I think the market correction is not over yet, and the chances are that we might see a dip below $20k before the bull takes over. We might see some fake-out rallies in the coming months to attract more retail investors. Chances are that the market will pump once the BTC halving is over.
Agreed, the bear market is far from over and I also predict that bitcoin will have more corrections before and after the halving. But the prediction of bitcoin falling below $20k is a very low prediction, and if that happens, it will cause more serious panic than we think. Personally, I just predict bitcoin could fall to $22k-$23k and will consolidate there for a long time until the bull season comes and takes over.

I have also seen some predictions that there will be fake-out rallies to continue siphoning liquidity from the weak hands in the market but I am not sure about that.
Small corrections don't make the market stay in the bear season in my opinion because the market even corrects itself during the bull run but that doesn't make much of a difference and the market starts going up after those corrections just normally. However, it can be said that we are still not totally out of the bear market despite the fact that the price went from about $18k to $32k this year but that doesn't make it any different since it could go beyond that.

I don't see the price going as low as $20k and it will obviously cause a lot of panic in the market if it happens because almost the whole market is expecting the current price to be the bottom before the bull run that we might see next year or the year after that and the market should start recovering slowly from this point.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: September 28, 2023, 05:35:35 PM
Even the most populated countries like China, India, and others have already developed, and they are still creating other things that will make their citizens enjoy their way of leaving. To me, overpopulation cannot affect the development of a country if the government in such a country is doing well, but in a situation where the government is corrupt, they don’t care about their citizens.

You can see that even if there are resources available, they don’t care to make use of these resources in such a way that they create job opportunities for the citizens, and I believe job opportunities are one of the ways that we can say a country is developing when everybody is working. And that is what the Chinese government is still doing. With their very large population, are we going to say they did not develop? Nah, mate, so if a government uses available resources in a nation to create other ways of earning, there will be no poverty.
As per the international laws and criteria, both China and India are categorized as developing countries and aren't developed countries, although China's growth rate is way higher and it is more developed as a nation than India and there is also a difference in unemployment and literacy rate between the two countries. If we talk about population or overpopulation, it actually does make a difference when it comes to developing a country and providing the best services and amenities to the citizens.

A country with a popular of 63 Million people will be easier to manage and develop than a country with a population of 1.4 Billion. I know that natural resources and the abilities of the authorities to produce wealth and increase the GDP of the country matter in this but the population does have its effects.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 28, 2023, 04:53:30 PM
Bitcoin is a very useful thing to many people. It has provided very good opportunities, job opportunity, trading opportunity and lots more for many people to earn money for their essentials of life. Bitcoin halving is fast approaching, giving many people hope of investment, and making reasonable profit at the end. Yet in some countries it is completely illegal. What will you do if you are a fan of bitcoin but your country did not legalize cryptocurrency?
Bitcoin is not recognized in my country, and I don't really have any problems with that. I can easily buy and sell cryptocurrencies using centralized exchanges such as Binance, I have my account verified there and they never refused to provide their services to me. I have never been asked by authorities if I have any involvement with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies nor has my bank ever frozen my funds and asked for extra documentation to prove that I'm not involved or anything.

So, a person will not face a lot of problems just because Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are not legal in their country but they can face problems if they are banned within the country because that will create issues for them, the applications supporting cryptocurrencies such as exchanges and stuff will not be accessible and they might also get in trouble if they are found being involved in buying or selling Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: September 28, 2023, 11:15:34 AM
Planning about collection some MORE altcoins and thats why i manage extra money for that. But market situation is still confusing and today Altcoins dump minimum 10% even more. So is it really right to collect altcoins?  Or another dump will be coming before bull run? Should i postponed my invest or not? I post this in speculation sector cause we can only predict!  And I'll go with the most predicted result
Have you ever heard of a pump and dump scheme on a token? If yes then your risk of loss is quite large (when you buy the wrong token)

I advise you to play it safe amidst this market uncertainty, don't let your dream of making a profit go to waste because you chose to invest in the wrong token. Some of CMC's top 100 crypto assets should be your priority to buy, and stay away from speculative assets that only rely on hype.
It will be pretty confusing if someone goes for the top 100 in the list of cryptocurrencies listed on CMC because when you go for choosing the altcoins you want to invest in, you will need to thoroughly evaluate the coins and tokens and the projects behind them so that you can choose the best ones and your investments don't go wasted. That's why, one should narrow down that list and then go for choosing how many they want for their investments.

If the investor is a newbie, I would suggest they go for the top 20 or maybe 30 and evaluate each one of them very closely and research about them and see how they have been doing in the near past just to have an idea about their recent performance, and then choose the best ones among them.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: September 27, 2023, 08:15:31 PM
Lifestyle change is a big problem that is found with most of the people. When does this happen? Mostly it happens when a person gets into a better position earning $1500 from $700 in the previous month. This gives him the choice to spend. Here most of them doesn't follow strict guidelines and end up borrowing at the month end. In some cases, they manage everything within it, but the savings will be the same as when he earned $700. There is nothing good or there is no room for improvement.
It's not easy to manage your finances, especially if you are not disciplined in general. A person who does everything in a way that seems like he is just getting it off his shoulders and doesn't really care, such a person will do the same with their finances, they don't care where the money is going, they don't try to have more savings because they also don't care about the future and the consequences they might face if they don't have a job some day in future.

That's why, it's always important to take everything seriously, and when it comes to money, if you are earning well, you shouldn't be careless with the money because you are privileged to have that because there are people in the world who sleep on the streets and barely get to eat a single meal every day.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: September 27, 2023, 07:21:10 PM
Well I am not expecting so much of a raise in price of Bitcoin. There is so much going on in the world and we are waiting for the sec to solve many court cases.

But then if I see whales stacking their coins I think maybe something big is going to happen. Michael Saylor's company MicroStrategy has now bought a additional 5,445 Bitcoin for a price of $147.3 Million. So it does give me some 'bullish' thoughts when he does this.

https://coinjournal.net/news/microstrategy-acquires-an-additional-5445-bitcoins/
Michael Saylor and his company-- MicroStrategy have always believed in Bitcoin and their belief has always paid off, and the major payoff for them would be when Bitcoin hits another all-time high this time maybe going around $100k which will surely make their stack worth lot and the company will have a huge profit out of its Bitcoin investments that it has made so far and might make in the future. They've always used the perfect market conditions.

If we talk about market conditions, I believe we won't see any major movements now in this year, the only major movement we saw was at the beginning of the year when Bitcoin went from below $19k to $31k in just a couple of months, and then it became stable there. But, we will surely see some action in the next year.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see any value in move to earn crypto projects? on: September 27, 2023, 05:12:40 PM
There are some move to earn projects like stepn, stepapp etc . Do you see any value in them or it is just a death spiral?
Well, they were only famous when the concept was new and people were excited, everyone was into them thinking that they might actually make some money through them but I guess that didn't work out and the concept has been going down since then and now I barely see anyone talking about these apps when previously I would see a lot of people promoting their links and stuff to get referrals for the benefits they could get if they made a purchase through them.

I think these trend coins are not really worth investing in because once the hype gets over, they will start losing value over time and they can barely be revived by their teams and developers since people stop using their services eventually and the concepts start dying off after some time.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Volatility and its effect on: September 25, 2023, 02:09:52 PM
Volatility is expected because bitcoin is not a stable coin pegged to the USD. Bitcoin is traded freely without anyone's intervention, but if its price volatility didn't really exist then it's clear the average person would never want to trade it or invest in it. For me, price volatility is mandatory for all crypto assets, even USDT always fluctuates and never has completely stable value.

Moreover, price volatility is not a threat to the future of crypto, especially bitcoin. However, the impact of this volatility must be minimized so that investors and trader do not experience losses over time.
How do you expect the impact of the volatility to be controlled or minimized? That might be possible if an asset or a cryptocurrency is centralized and the control is in the hands of the creators or maybe the holders which is barely the case with Bitcoin or a lot of other cryptocurrencies because the amount of volatility depends on the demand and supply rule and we are not really able to control the demand or the supply unless a cryptocurrency has a supply that can be increased or decreased by the developers which makes it centralized, somehow.

And the main thing is, as you said, the volatility isn't really a threat for cryptocurrencies but it's the reason why they are so popular in the world today. Imagine if Bitcoin wasn't volatile from the beginning, and the price didn't increase at all, would it be able to reach where it is today? I don't think so.
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Elon Musk keep what he said or not? on: September 25, 2023, 01:35:49 PM
Elon doesnt matter, he is just one guy.   Always was true, the Bitcoin effect is not one person and I dont think he is pivotal.  Nothing to do with liking or disliking him, even when BTC was doing very well and he was helping its hype perhaps I'd still have said the same.  It dont matter, we are hoping BTC is part of the world from the smallest people to the largest perhaps but its really only about the general dynamics true.  If he doesnt see its of any benefit thats his own problem to handle, love to hear he has ideas and innovation but I never really read anything interesting in that respect.
It's not really about him or whether he likes or dislikes Bitcoin, but it's about his businesses and whether he will start accepting Bitcoin payments for his companies or not which will surely make a difference for the time being because Tesla is not a small company, it's one of the most popular car companies in the world and if they start accepting payments in Bitcoin and announce that for the public, that will surely help give Bitcoin a generous push towards the bull run.

And, if they also start accepting payments for SpaceX's Starlink, that will be like icing on the cake because it will make it a double surprise for the public, and that will spread a lot of positivity around the market and both retail and industrial investors will start getting more confident for their investments.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 24, 2023, 06:10:49 PM
If you are completely new then better visit most popular casinos out there since it will help you stay away from the scam sites out there. There are plenty of names such as Roobet, Stake, Duelbits, Primedice and much more in the bucket list. Visit their official ANN listed on the forum (in the current section) and you can get hang of it after reading in depth. You can also visit freebitcoin if your core focus is on sports betting. They have simple betting formula, simple UI and plenty of games to choose from. Always have a habit to read about their TOS though they are boring long text they can save yourself from complications in later part. Good luck mate.
Why only new gamblers , I suggest even if you are old experienced gamblers you should stick to these trusted websites that are also active on this forum and play / bet on whichever sites among these suits you the best. Sometime you will not find all the games to bet on , all all the sites so i prefer stake.com when i had to bet on any match.

Another thing you can compare between the sites is the odds they offer for the betting. Some sites give better odds than others, a careful analysis will let you choose the best one for you.
An old and experienced gambler barely need any advice regarding this and they will already be careful when choosing a new casino to gamble on, there is basically nothing wrong in trying out a new platform with a small amount as long as you are not doing KYC verification or providing any personal information to them which can be an issue if the platform turns out to be a scam later on, but if it doesn't, you can enjoy the initial bonuses given by them.

And, by odds you probably mean the house edge, it surely is different for different platforms and also for different games. However, if you are talking about the odds in sports betting, that's a totally different thing and that surely requires some research from the gambler's end to find the best one.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 24, 2023, 05:35:24 PM

I don't know why many people frown at KYC verification but I think sometimes, it may be as a result of previous experience that is making people to be more conscious about dropping there data on exchange except the exchange has user data protection which will enable individual data to be well kept in a portfolio where no one has access to it even though the exchange get hacked.
That's because kyc encourages identity theft in many ways.

You're exposed to a third-party attack should such an exchange or company get hacked as your data/details can be stolen in that event and be used for impersonation and other criminal activities to your person. Etc.

You'll need to go through this thread to get the whole idea of why many people frown at KYC. Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless
Identity theft is already there but I think thefts are more interested in money than a simple data. I know many people still hates a KYC for different reasons but they should understand that it is also important and it could discourage the fraudsters of doing an illegal deed because this makes them easily tracked.

KYC is not the ones that are dangerous but it is when someone steals it from you and impersonates you but we shouldn't worry as long as we know that we are using a very trusted platform with no or less history of being hi-jacked. And they definitely improve their security from time to time because it can affect them once something bad happen to them or to their customers.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 24, 2023, 04:58:30 PM
I don’t think anybody truly retires young, they just stop having to work for people for money. Most of the “retired” people I know have replaced their jobs with other things. Sometimes relationships with people, sometimes hobbies, sometimes with a new business they run themselves for fun. I think retirement isn’t exactly a black or white thing.
That's right, a retirement doesn't need to be specifically about leaving a job that you've been doing for many years in your life and then sitting at home and living your life off of the money that you might get as a pension. People might also retire because they want to do something of their own, they might have found a way that can earn them passive income and they won't need to do a job anymore, they might have won a lottery and can live their lives happily without having to work anymore.

If we talk about retirement at a young age, I think only a person who has acquired a lot of money when they are very young might stop working but they will still have ways to earn more money, they will probably have a lot of businesses set up around the world which keeps earning them more when they enjoy their life.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 23, 2023, 08:59:01 PM
On this board I often see a lot of discussions related to investment and finance which tend to be large scale. However, to start investing we need capital. How do you find capital for investment?

Let's talk about small scale businesses that have low risks and promising profits so that we can have capital to invest and become passive income in the future.

Do you have a small business idea? or business experience? I want to hear it
First of all, you need to understand that in any business, profit is directly proportional to the amount of risk involved, so you can't expect to start a smart scale business that has low risk but a very high profit proportion which is basically not how businesses work. The scale of your business determines the profit percentage and we all know that the bigger the scale is, the bigger the risk will be since your capital will be increasing as you increase the scale.

So, we should leave the low-risk, high-profit thing aside and think of businesses that can be started with a small capital and can provide some profit based on how much you are investing. One such idea can be to buy and fix a vending machine somewhere within your city where you know it will be used and there won't be any problems like it won't be stolen or broken or something.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Baby Doge? on: September 23, 2023, 08:22:23 PM
New games using babydoge?
Who cares? It's a meme coin at the end of the day, and no matter what developers do, the price of the coin or token won't go up significantly as long as there isn't enough community hype and it's not really easy to get that to happen considering how vigilant the investors are becoming day by day, there are only some investors who are always eager to invest in meme coins or shit coins because they have seen other people gaining significant profit in the past.

However, they don't understand that just because a person or maybe a few people managed to get a lot of profits by investing in a meme coin at its early stage, it doesn't mean that every single meme coin will give that to its investors and it has been proved thousands of times when meme coins were created, tried, and died.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing? on: September 23, 2023, 06:35:23 AM
The combination of these fundamental factors has led to the rise in value of Bitcoin. Also distribution limits and mainstreaming means that Bitcoin's supply mechanism affects the mainstream price on the upside.
It all boils down to one point, which is supply and demand, the supply of Bitcoin is limited and so when the demand increases, the price increases with that. All other points basically only add up to the main point because no matter what the reason is for which people want to have Bitcoin, it basically increases the demand which is the fundamental reason why the price of an asset keeps increasing over time, now since it's free to grow and the demand keeps increasing, it keeps going up.

However, if we consider the reason why most people are adopting Bitcoin these days is because they want to earn money and they can clearly see that the price of Bitcoin keeps going up which provides an opportunity for them to buy when it's relatively low and sell when it is higher than usual.
