561  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [StarMiner] - ARM controller image for your ASIC mining needs! on: July 06, 2014, 01:55:12 PM
Being a bit of a noob relating to linux and arm, I can just download the image and flash it to the beaglebone black or rasp pi? Also is there a list of supported hardware somewhere?
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: July 05, 2014, 03:50:39 PM
Both mastercoin and counterparty lack easy to use and start wallet software. Mastercoins wallet, masterchest I have been trying to setup for months and been talking to support which are little to no help.

Counterparty I tried the latest build many times but cant get it working.

I think counterparty desperately needs a software/downloadable wallet that anyone can use. Having to use the webwallet is something I hate. and feels alot less secure.
https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/BoottleXCP_binaries/releases Like this?

I have tried that. It is old and doesnt work. And their is no support or community around it

565  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ♦♦ GIGAMiner.net - BTC mining contracts from 1.7$ per GH/s ♦♦ on: July 04, 2014, 01:48:40 PM
We're thinking about a new little program

how about lottery ! lets say we're gonna give away a 10GH yearly contract for half the price to the lottery winner ?!
Do you guys like this idea ? we might do this from time to time and I think it would be interesting

The lottery sign up will be a simple email submitting system and we're gonna declare the winner in our website and on this thread along with a confirmation email to the winner

So tell us what you think !

Regards
B.Moradi

I  think you lottery should be something like for every day for each 1gh owned you get 1 ticket. Then each month you draw a ticket and the winner gets free hashing for the month.

At that price a break even time is about 130 days. And that is assuming free power, and that the litecoin difficulty does go up at all.
567  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BTC Mining Equipment on: July 04, 2014, 01:43:29 PM
would you be okay breaking it down so users can get 1 or 2 pieces?

569  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [70 TH] mmpool.org - 1.5% fee split DGM/PPS - tx fees/vardiff/merge mining/tor on: July 04, 2014, 12:02:01 PM
Hi, now that mmpool.org is active here i would like to ask if he/she reads PM:s. It would be great to receive answer atleast. I asked if I could transfer funds from my old account as DGM kept adding balance after many rounds. It's not much, I think 0,0007xxx btc, so its not of big importance but in principle would this be possible. First i mined without other wallets and afterwards added account with nmc etc. wallets so old one left useless.

Somebody loan me hash so i could direct it to mmpool =)

I am in a similar boat. The admin hasnt responded to me for over a week.

573  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: June 26, 2014, 02:07:50 AM
I am a bit curious, so hashfast is at this point more/less dead.

Reading from something that was previously said that hashfast has about 20 million in assets and 15million in more/less debt. Does this mean that about 5million will be dispersed between creditors?

Also for batch one customers who received a batch 1 unit is there any point in filling? I mean at this point they only owe batch 1 customers MPP which is never coming, and I dont expect to get any money for that.

575  Bitcoin / Mining / Questions about p2pool on: June 24, 2014, 03:20:32 PM
Hello, I am considering using p2pool, but have a few questions I was hoping someone could respond to.

1. Is it possible to use p2pool without a full bitcoin node?
2. Is it possible to use p2pool with mergemining and if so where/how can I do it.
3.What coins are merged mine on p2pool currently

Thanks

Does anyone happen to know where a brothah' can source those ChainUp/ChainDown cables?  Thanks in advance for your reply.

H@shKRaker

Sadly I dont know, but if you find out please let me know, thanks
577  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast BabyJet users thread on: June 18, 2014, 12:00:02 PM
Figured I'd try here rather than a strict WTB thread but if anyone is interested in selling a BabyJet I'd be interested in buying. These seem to be pretty nice little miners when they work!
I have rev 1 boards for sale. Can ship immediately. I currently have 9 to sell. Make me an offer.

When you say boards I assume you mean boards and chip as in all I have to do is connect it with my current babyjet and it shoulld work?

How much?
578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: June 16, 2014, 10:11:17 PM
Well I just got an official letter telling me I may be a creditor.

Riddler would you mind making a dedicated page on btx trader just to prove that you own it. For example btxtrader.com/proof.txt with a statement saying riddler on bitcointalk is the owner or something like that?

Assuming you are legit tho, I would vouch for you. BTX trader is a great service and I have been using them since they released their software.
