561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm looking for sites with good sports predictions on: December 03, 2023, 02:24:49 PM

This isn't a prediction site, it's just similar to livescore and flashscore where they provide timely details on the scores on different sports that are live.

I guess most of the websites OP is looking are already posted above, but as to the prediction site, honestly I don't find it attractive as it teaches bettors to be lazy and stupid. I mean, if we just follow a prediction from other people or a specific site in this matter, that would simply mean we don't trust our knowledge and skills in sprots betting, which actually what we need to succeed. So it doesn't make sense why we seek on that thing that doesn't help us in the long run.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 03, 2023, 01:26:00 PM
I was able to bet on this game, AFAIR, the handicap that I took was +10.5.

The game is already over but still on on the delayed live, hehe..

Unfortunately your bet didn't win as Ginebra had won the game by 11 points, that 0.5 was a killer bro, sorry but boune back next time.
Ginebra is just too much for the DYIP, they have offense everywhere and DYIP's import can even be guarded by C. Stand, so who would guard, Ginebra's import? That's why I'd say it's an easy win for the Gin King.

Actually I checked again after the game and I was wrong because my bet turns out it's +11.5, so I won !

^^^It's just a small amount of bet though, I use a local bookie link to my gcash account and it's easier to bet compared to using crypto for betting. It's not that I'm using it on a daily basis, I still use crypto sportsbooks since I'm earning bitcoin so it's easy to move also. Just having lots of alternatives makes our betting experience amazing.  Smiley

So with that, Ginebra Kings still fails to cover the spread hehe.

Let's just watch out on their next game if still the spread would be high then we will bet on their opponent with that high handicap.

Congrats mate and yeah that local bookies of ours is very convenient and easy to use just like the online sabong hehe.

The only problem I face with our local bookie is it doesn't have a huge market, like the bet builder feature on the popular casinos here in the forum.

I have explored this local bookie as well, I think this is the only one that has partnered gcash (licensed by PAGCOR) so we have no other options although this is the safest one. However, I'm not here to complain though, I'm just hoping that they'll be more competitive as the market is huge, so in order to retain and attract more gamblers, they need to show that they are like a one-stop-shop.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: December 03, 2023, 11:58:52 AM
Ryan gets the win by KO. There was nothing too remarkable about his performance but he was able to execute his game plan effectively. Duarte was at a disadvantage because of the 143 lb catchweight. His style was very basic and Ryan had no problems landing shots. After this tuneup it seems like Rolly Romero might be next for Ryan. Both fighters are at a similar level so it should be an intriguing matchup where we will see if either of them is ready to step up to the elite level once again.

Duarte could have gone up but he chose to get up when the count is over, there's a lot of boos going on because Ryan is running to much I think that's the improvement in Ryan's game, a good defensive stance to run too often and not very eager to engage, a deviation from what he did against Gervonta, not a great performance but a win is still a win I guess The Golden Boy will finally get him a title shot after this win.
I'm waiting for the press conference so we'll know where Garcia is heading now after this win, in his interview in the ring he wants Rolly so lets see if he will get Rolly.

I also don't understand why Duarte didn't get up on time, maybe his legs was not still there so he didn't bother to beat the referee's count.

Yeah, many people inside the arena seem to not like the new style of Ryan Garcia, for me he seems afraid on brawl type of fight, had he not connected that left hook, that booing would have continued until the 12th round.

Garcia did the job but for me that wasn't impressive, he was caught with that left hook of Duarte a couple of times, luckily it was not so lethal that he still stood despite all of that.

I think that wasn't really the style of Garcia, he was probably feeling some injury on the rib that he was protecting it to be the target of Duarte. The win wasn't impressive, he failed our expectations but at least he was able to win the fight via KO. I don't know what's next for him, i think he needs more tune up fights like this and see if he can bring his old self, the one that isn't afraid to fight toe to toe, and wins via KO.

Who won here with their prediction Garcia win by KO in the 8th round, or the range for founds 7-10?
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 03, 2023, 11:36:49 AM
[....]

How you can still lose after getting the full momentum and the lead is beyond my understanding but at least the fans had an exiting game to watch.
There was plenty of time for OKC to recover from that collapse then there's Chet's crucial block and second chance points which allowed them to regain their confidence. If Mavs took the lead with a minute or two remaining then they probably would have won that game.

If the vote for MVP was happening right now, I would say it belongs to Luka Doncic. He’s playing the best basketball in the league right now. Unfortunately his heroics tonight couldn’t secure them a win, but that’s somewhat to be expected with Kyrie Irving out with an illness and them having given up most of their team to get him.

He did everything to win but their comeback was wasted because they weren't able to close it well. a 30-0, biggest in the franchise history, that would be remembered forever and Luka could be remembered as one of the best players of Dallas as long as he stays with this team until retirement.

I thought Dallas would win, actually I'm a bit worried because I bet on the other side which I had -5.5 for OKC, luckily the last 2 FT went in, so I was also lucky though.
565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: December 02, 2023, 09:35:59 PM
Setting a stop loss is best only when you are starting a trade or when you are doing leverage in trading. Since the future market is not guaranteed safe and profitable, then it's a wise decision to use stop-loss to prevent from losing too much. However, if you have high experiences as a trader, and you know already how to maximize your profits and control your losses, then you can trade successfully without the need of a stop-loss. Using stop-loss does not prevent you from losing, but it will only limit your losses not to fall into huge and massive losses.

While trading in the market still remains risky and uncertain, then using stop-loss could offer you help but if you become dependent on it, then chances are  that you can never maximize your trading profits as much as you want it.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 02, 2023, 08:25:43 PM
Well, yes... a lot of people bought into the hype of some of these shitcoins and they burn their fingers. Every Alt coin investor are hoping to experience the rag to riches story that some early investors in Bitcoin experienced, when they bought bitcoins for a few cents and then the price went up to $60 000+ .....but sadly that seldom happens with any of these shitcoins.  Tongue

The major problem are people's greed..... and their thinking that each of these shitcoins are a get rich quick opportunity.  Roll Eyes So, when these shitcoins fail up to their expectations, they blame the coin... and not their own stupidity and greed.  Tongue
Due to people's ignorance and greed, they prioritize altcoins over bitcoin because they think these altcoins have higher potentials to provide them quick and massive profits, without knowing that they will only end up with unexpected huge losses. And even if they do research over these too good to be altcoins, there are still high chances that they can't avoid from losing, so bitcoin should have been the best coin to invest instead of falling into altcoins.

However, no matter what people may say about their experience about altcoins, its not reasonable that they will put all the blame to altcoins. People should not tolerate their own wrong thinking, and they should fix their mindset first before they come to invest in crypto space, because even if they invest into bitcoin with their greed, they won't still be in profits in the end.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: December 02, 2023, 01:58:17 PM
I tried to use free services but every time they told me that they didn't carry out this type of activity...
Of course Just for sake of curiosity.
I am not sure actually there Is any reliable system that can outperform a gambling platform.
But I am pretty sure something like this could be created and in the past some "big" gamblers have been able to create such predictive model.

I don't believe there's anyone who has successfully created a tool that guarantees easy wins in gambling. When we discuss gambling prediction tools, I assume we're referring to skill-based games, as luck-based games inherently have a house edge that no tools can consistently outperform in the long run.

The reality is, if such tools existed, it would be relatively easy for gamblers to bankrupt a casino. Given the enormous financial stakes involved, it seems unlikely that such tools exist now or will be created in the future.

Even in sports betting, the most popular form of gambling where the outcome of games is involved, if someone were to create a tool that accurately predicts results, making significant money would be seemingly easy. However, despite the vast size of the sports betting industry, there's no evidence of gamblers consistently winning. Therefore, it's safe to presume that no such tool has been developed yet.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 02, 2023, 01:29:01 PM
Is Fajardo already out for the season? I saw ha had some kind of bandage in his and shoulder in their last game.

Not out of the season yet but per report, he will be out 4 to 6 weeks and with that timeframe, the Beermen should have at least played 10 games already and as we all know that SMB Beermen is not so lethal if they in the twice to beat disadvantage come the quarters.

4 to 6 weeks is like out of the Governor's cup I guess. So that means no more JMF which is tough for the SMB since he is a very dominant big man and their MVP. It's time for the other bigs to step up, maybe Brondial will earn more minutes, and Manuel as well I guess, but I haven't seen him anymore in the line up.

____________________

We have only one game today, finally ROS got their first win, and the spread was -3.5, so they also win that as they won 5 points.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 02, 2023, 09:54:20 AM
So if you can't afford to gamble, then it's simply, stop playing and don't play even 1% of your budget.

Don't play at all, follow the rule, gamble what you can afford to lose and those who cannot afford to gamble has no room in gambling. Why would people force to gamble even if they are struggling financially? Most of the reasons are they want to change their lives for the better, and thinking gambling could help them achieve that is a wrong mindset, the reason why lots of people struggle more financially and they blame it all  to gambling instead on their ignorance.
570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your portfolio building strategy for crypto? on: December 01, 2023, 09:41:22 PM
Guys, I’d really like to know how you built your crypto portfolio? I’m a seasoned crypto investor myself (not to mention an entrepreneur) and this is just that time of the year when I ask other crypto investors about their strategies. My Strategy is centered around using AI to analyze data and trends of the current market and then rebalancing my portfolio based on my findings. What are you all doing/have done to build your portfolio?
At first, I was only sighting for dips to make a good buy and just continue to buy every now and then when the prices are crashing. But I realized that not all the time the market is in dips so that won't maximize my investment portfolio. So I'm now doing DCA which really works for me, and it could mean very helpful especially that I'm preparing for the upcoming bitcoin halving.

I think doing DCA is the safest strategy that most crypto investors are busy doing with. Most especially that bitcoin is seen to have a consistent price increase, then DCA could be the only way to maximize your bitcoin accumulation despite of its expensive price.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 01, 2023, 07:58:35 PM
Why are you regretting it? You said it yourself, you sold the BTC for a laptop — for your "essential tasks". What was your alternative? Fail your classes just so you can have more bitcoin?

Don't put too much importance on gains. Because knowledge(depending on what course you're taking and why you're taking it in the first place, I guess) can go a long long way.
Bitcoin investing has certainly it's best time to maximize your investment, and right now I can see that you should attend to your educational needs first before you consider long term hodling with bitcoin in order to gain higher profits. Do not be lured with bigger amount of profits, you will have all the chances to experience that later on when you have succeeded on your education.

However, that will only happen if you land a decent job in the future. When that happens, you will gain a lot of opportunities to invest, and it's up to you to set your limits as long as you can still afford your capital losses in the future.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 01, 2023, 04:39:36 AM
Now that you share this? yeah i may consider doing this but first I will review my daily income to make a deal with my wife  Grin Cheesy

but 1-2% is just a small amount to spend and risk(also to take chance being lucky) now that I may spend that small amount then i can play the maximum winning I may try .

You're a very loving husband. Personally, I don't tell my wife that I gamble. It's not that I don't want her to worry; rather, I view gambling as a form of personal satisfaction, much like her shopping with her friends. I don't mind whatever business she's doing, and I'd like my pursuits to be treated in a similar manner.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 01, 2023, 03:41:40 AM
Energetic import of NLEX has been fired, he was a good one but the team decided to let him go.
Typically, no one dare to touch Pido. Politics..politics..politics everywhere on PBA.
This is not new, if you have the money and connections, you can still get out of it no matter what the issue is.
Well, that import deserve a better league and PBA might not meant for him. The PBA should be more strict when it comes to punishing whoever made a serious mistake and not the one who are the victim. This is the problem with PBA until now, there is too much politics and those who are on top always have the influence for every decisions.
They can easily replace an import, but coaches tend to stay in their positions for a long period, especially in the case of Pido, who has been a coach for a while now. However, consider how his team is performing—they aren't winning games, and yet he is still coaching. If this were in the NBA, he would have been fired and replaced a long time ago.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: November 30, 2023, 09:47:12 PM
If you have been trading in the market for long, you will realize that successful trading never happens easily, and that it never happens to most of the aspiring traders especially if they lack the skills and strategies to trade. So it's not actually surprising why majority of the crypto traders are not successful, some just pretend to deceive the people who dream of becoming successful traders.

The only way they gain an income is through making contents about their trades and make people believe that they are good and reliable traders. You will only know this is you start trading by yourself.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 30, 2023, 08:23:20 PM
I am just wondering, what will happen if Bitcoin shutdown? Will the market crash? How about the effect of this to altcoins? Can government shutdown Bitcoin? I have a lot of question about this matter, because who knows, right? Also, how about hackers shutdown Bitcoin? What are your thought here? Let's discuss this.
The government has no full control over bitcoin because its decentralized. They can obviously banned it nor restrict the people from using bitcoin but they can never put an end to it, they can never force it to shut down. That's the advantage of being centralized, one thing that bitcoin users have an edge over fiat users.

However, if let's say that bitcoin has been force to shut down, then most likely the whole crypto market will lost its value too because bitcoin is the lifeblood of the crypto market, altcoins are only dependent on the image of bitcoin.

576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 02:41:08 PM
Sports betting is your gambling needs if you love sports.

As to the chances, yes this is better than other type of gambling that solely rely on luck. Here in sports betting, you can make your own strategy that would work in the long run. I think there are already lots of successful sports bettor out there and personally I also like to succeed in sports betting, but as we all know, it's not easy as what we expect since first you need to ensure you have to build a good bankroll as success here are measure on a long term journey, and no gambler would be fulfill even he is profitable but not making a significant amount of money.

For me, the most important factor here is to consider starting with a serious amount of bankroll, then everything will follow as a gambler as we are, we will do everything to protect it. It's quite different when you are just playing for fun than being serious in sports betting, and one way to make yourselves serious is to start with a decent bankroll.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Math and Gambling on: November 30, 2023, 01:33:43 PM
this will also increases our chances of getting higher edge over time winning in most cases on how we gamble.

I doubt the edge will increase if we are playing against the house which has a house edge.

It's known to us that games with house edge aren't winnableo on the side of the gamblers, at least in the long run. So the best benefit we could rip from having a good math in our game is to stay realistic and being able to manage the risk, there's no other benefits aside from that, unless we're up to a level of skilled based games.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: November 30, 2023, 11:41:19 AM
So still everything is in the hands of Canelo right now and it looks like he is not going to make his decision any time soon. Most likely he will go on and enjoy the holidays with his family and maybe January will be the time frame to see which fighters will he chooses to fight.

Canelo is done for this year, he'd made two successful fights this year and won via UD. He deserves a break and to enjoy with his family, but certainly he'll come back next year with a new fight, hopefully against someone who could really match him, like the fans will be puzzled a bit on who will win. I know against Benavidez the fans would stil favor Canelo, but at least they'll not think it's going ot be a one sided fight.

On the case about Canelo not fighting a fellow mexican, I think money can change this mind, so let's just watch out for that PATIENTLY.  Grin
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 11:59:57 AM

What can you say about this? Are you willing to risk your $18 to win $18k, or a million in PHP pesos?

This kind of small bet with insane multiplier is kinda popular now for Filipino better. I saw many friend of mine on social media doing this kind of crazy bet but with just lesser bet like 1$ a slip.

Probably this guys is a high roller for placing that kind of money to an insane x1000 odds because that’s almost a sure loss if luck hits hard on his bet that time. This post might encourage many Filipino bettor to pursue more risky bet since everyone in there is very crazy when it comes to copying someone insane win.  Cheesy

I don't find any problem if it will encourage them to bet on high odds like this. As long as they understand the risk of gambling and stay discipline, they'll be fine for sure. This betslip shared by OP was just a proof that anyone can win this big money in gambling if you have the courage to take a bigger risk, as they say, big risk = big reward, and this is it.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 29, 2023, 05:39:41 AM
Warriors showing their dominance on the Sacramento Kings again, a huge lead at the end of the second quarter. Although the Kings was able to put back 7-0 run in the last 1:30 seconds, but with that huge lead the Warriors are comfortable going in the 3rd.

GSW hitting 18 three points shot, 50%, so that is huge for them. But let's see if the Kings can make a comeback in their home court.

They don't want to get another L from their rival. Draymond Green back from his suspension and playing point as well.

As long as Thompson and Wiggins are playing well, Warriors will likely win most of the time. But his ain't over yet, we still have one quarter, so breeze yourself and hope that the Warriors will be able to hold on.

Yes, Draymond the man is back, damn, this guy is what the warriors really needed as the energy on the floor is very high, so hopefully no more choking game from him.

Yes there's still plenty of time and a game that once dominated by the Warriors has now become a close game. Warriors are only enjoying a 3 point lead now with still plenty of time left in the game, I feel this will end like their past games, but let's see if the Warriors would still come up victorious.
