561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: July 18, 2016, 04:05:08 PM
The barrier is very high, we have seen many contenders and none have thus far been able to.

Yes and its not easy to replace bitcoin as if we talk about digital currency then I think bitcoin is the best and it will be very hard for any other crypto to replace it very easily.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overcoming halving on: July 18, 2016, 04:03:13 PM
everybody expect halving will have good impact for bitcoin especially for the prices and i had say it before that as long as the prices not going down it is not worst things and currently the prices slowly rise this is good because majority people has been waiting for this situations and hoping that the next peak should be higher than the current prices

I think we should be satisfied with current price tag that is attached with bitcoin and its really good to see that price is not going back at this stage or else it would be really disappointing.
563  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 10:40:54 PM
i already quit a full time job  6 years ago and work fulltime online, the best decision i made. earned 10x more than my day job. visit and take a vacation on the place i could not visit before..
Maybe you did a great job but I like more about the reasons and conditions you made that decisions and risks you say at the first before starting your online job?

@pinoycash how much money you earn each month ? $1000 ? $10.000 ? im very interesting with your story earning 10x more than your dayjob.
are you use other online payment like paypal, payeer , google ads etc? or you focus only at bitcoin.
I hope the guy is true and he did make a good job before entering to bitcoin job which is very promising.

Yes its very promising and above all it requires great courage to leave full time job and start earning online, this is not possible without great level of self confidence.
564  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 14, 2016, 10:38:22 PM
I try to not spend any Bitcoins because it is not that handy, they are worth allot of money and spending them is dumb if you can make money with them.
If you want to spend then just spend cash but not Bitcoin.
But it is not bad to spend some of bitcoins since circulating bitcoin is useful for bitcoin itself.

It is quite difficult to spend bitcoin in my country. I can only use it in one online shops to buy computer parts.
Unfortunately most of us are spending bitcoin to buy digital goods and even you are a bit lucky that you are able to buy computer parts.

Yeah spending bitcoin is limited at a moment as its used only for mobile recharge and for buying digital stuffs, and sometimes I spend it on gambling too.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: July 14, 2016, 10:36:22 PM
There will be of course a time to sell your coins. And that is the best option. You must sell it when the price is high.
Than you can have some more money and that will be good. But you need patience and that is very important.
Yes, there will be a time for selling but I emphasize that no one knows when is that time and it might be current time!

If you consider bitcoin earning as a investment, then you could never think of the price for a long time. Often if used as fiat, any time looks to be good for selling. The reason is one on the other he won't get a chance to exchange if he holds for increased price.
It depends of purpose of investing, for example many may buy some bitcoin for  long term investment.

Yes and I think if you want to earn really huge profits from it then you should hold it at least for next 10 to 15 years then only investment can be profitable.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 14, 2016, 10:32:43 PM
bitcoin is safe place to save our money, look at the bitcoin price now, if we save $30 or 0.1BTC(in price $300) now we can double our money Smiley
i hope i can reach my target at this year , my target is saving 10btc
It is not a safe investment but it is a good investment since safe suggests with low risk but you have many risks in bitcoin.

Yes as everyone knows that bitcoin is unpredictable and anything can happen, but looking at the growth of bitcoin I think we can afford to take risk of investing in it.
567  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: July 14, 2016, 10:30:18 PM
For now it's an investment, and I think this should be the case for everyone when you put your money in an "under development" project. If the investment is successful and btc gets worldwide adopted while being interactive with the real world, then that's when I'll use them as a currency.

I think you should also use it as a currency, as rotation of bitcoin is necessary for the bright future of bitcoin, if nobody will spend then it will definitely affect its price.
568  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 10:28:16 PM
I think that somebody at least one time thoght about becoming rich with bitcoin but i am not, i know that you should be lucky to get big money with bitcoins.
Yes you need to have huge number of coins if you want to get rich with it and that is not possible for everyone, my plan is to collect as much as can and sell when price is really high for me.
569  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: July 14, 2016, 10:26:36 PM
It's a good idea to save bitcoins for future generation cause maybe it will be good money for study and living , we can't know how much money will bitcoin cost in future.

Yeah and next generation will simply love the entire concept of bitcoin and we can also teach them how to earn bitcoins once they are mature enough to understand things around them.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in everyday life on: July 14, 2016, 10:24:30 PM
If you are asking to spend bitcoin in daily life then to be honest that is not possible for me at a moment as there is no place where I can spend my bitcoins, the usage is limited only online.

Exactly but its good spend bitcoin online for making purchases as now there are many online sites that accepts bitcoin, generally I do mobile top up using bitcoins.
571  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 10:22:40 PM
Give them discounts for buying clothing and shoes
when paying with bitcoin

Giving them everything ready will not help, we want that they should make some efforts to earn it, and that is possible only if they take initiative to know bitcoin.
572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 10:21:02 PM
I have lost more then 1 btc in gambling and around 0.5 in cloud mining sites and today I am regretting for wasting my money in both of them, but now I will make sure that I don't repeat same mistake again.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: July 13, 2016, 03:38:51 PM
To 400$ rather no,BTC price is staying stable above 640$,i hope we will even test all time high at 1200$ during election in USA,now i see day trading between 650$ and 670$

I do not think the bitcoin price has anything to do with the US election. But if either the candidates endorse the bitcoin, the price will rise.

i think bitcoin is decentralization system, no overment can "make" bitcoin rise or fail. no goverment can touch my bitcoin.
im sure the price will be rise but i dont know when the day come.

Price is increasing slowly at a moment and it will be more higher in future when we will find more users and investors investing their money into it, now there are less chances of extreme price drop.
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price drop on: July 13, 2016, 03:36:32 PM
Yes bitcoin is quiet stable since the halving every body expected the price will increase but that is not happended.Halving proved wrong all the speculations so far. That is what we see mostly with bitcoins. No one can predict correctly about it.

You can't be serious? Quite stable it is not and hasn't been for a few months lol 'Everybody expected' that is not right either, many expected it would increase and what has it done in the run up to the halving? It has increased. Halving has not proved wrong all speculations in the slightest.

Yeah price was stuck at $450 few months back and as halving got closer it started to go higher and higher, and it nearly touched $800, and it went back, but I think $660 is also an descent price to hold.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: July 13, 2016, 03:31:59 PM
yeah im not going to sell it also because in my opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to grow a lot in the future
You are right, the halving has bee occurred, and as soon the halving effect start to appear the price of bitcoin will start to increase, and at that time all of those who will have their coins will earn a good profit from his/her coins, as we all got the profit a month ago.

Yes holding it for next couple of months will be a good choice, as price will be higher in next couple of months and may be we will see the price of $1k in the year.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 13, 2016, 03:29:51 PM

Investment is risky but if want to secure our future then we need to take that extra risk of investing money, and if our investment works then we can earn some good profits in future.

When we invest, there are always risk involve. There are investment that is less risky like mutual funds etc . Since there are fund managers who manages it, risk is minimized.

Mutual funds are good as an investment, and you can get good returns from it, I would love to put my money in saving investment plans, which will take care of both saving and investment.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: July 13, 2016, 03:27:19 PM
I choose bitcoin it is very affordable and you can easily earn free while in gold only rich people who can afford to invest because gold has a huge value but sonner bitcoin will be dominated

Bitcoin will definitely take over the gold in future, gold is more preferred only because it exist since long time and majority of people are not aware about the bitcoins yet.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 13, 2016, 03:25:04 PM
There's no guarantee about the price of Bitcoin on that day you expected but for me Bitcoin has the potential to increase as you see on the market how this coin rises it's value every year passes.

But it is not enough if you are going to buy more bitcoins for a long term investment. Because if you are going to depend on that amount.
That is really not enough for the effort you are going to wait.
So as much as possible you are going to add some capital on it so that when its harvesting time you are going to wait.

1 btc will not give you best profits that you are looking for, as 1 btc is too small amount to hold, you can expect good profits from 1 btc if price goes into millions, which is unlikely to happen.
579  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 13, 2016, 03:22:40 PM
It is possible to earn a living with Bitcoin but you will have to invest allot of money to do so because of not you are not going to make enough money back.
So for most people it is not possible that is why they use it as an extras income.

Yes not possible for all to invest huge money in bitcoin as there is always risk associated with it, as no one knows what will be the price of bitcoin in future.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the only trusted cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2016, 03:18:41 PM
At this case, I will presume that the only trusted coin is bitcoin. What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree with me?

Trusted by whom? Altcoins are trusted by (at least part of) their supporters as well. The main difference compared to Bitcoin is the much smaller number of people that trust in these altcoins.

It is correct that altcoins are generally viewed with more skepticism, because there have been a large number of premine and other scams related to them. However there are also serious contenders among them. The reason that even these coins fail to gain prominence is not related to trust issues. The primary reason is that Bitcoin is simply too dominant to allow for the existence of equally important altcoins. The network effect of Bitcoin as a first mover draws in all resources in terms of developer talent, liquidity, and market acceptance. Even for perfectly sincere new altcoins it is extremely difficult to withstand this effect and grow longer term.

ya.ya.yo!

There are people who haven't even heard of Bitcoin who wouldn't trust it because it's an unknown to them. Other people have heard of Bitcoin but know nothing about it, and don't know that altcoins exist.

In this community Bitcoin generally has the most trust, and the altcoins have progressively less trust as their market caps get progressively smaller.

The existing users are using it only because they have faith in it and bitcoin is better in compare to other coins, but we can't expect the same from the people have are not aware about bitcoin yet, as they may think that bitcoin is a scam.
