581  Economy / Scam Accusations / FaucetPanel.com and 1ink.cc - SCAM on: September 13, 2020, 10:03:31 PM
We were using 1ink.cc as short links in our faucet sites.
In July we had a small withdrawal of 0.00032 BTC processed as shown below:

We've raised the minimum from 20,000 Satoshi to 100,000 Satoshi so they won't have to send us small payments - on the 7th of September we saw this:

Basically all it says is "Shift Payment" - no payment was received and no payment was made.

We tried contacting them but there is no response for over a week now.

Their sister site 1ink.cc which is built on the same script had 50,000 Satoshi which we tried to withdraw and it said "Withdraw successful" but as you can see the FaucetPanel.com account was not credited.

These might be small amounts but if you are relying on these sites - stay away!

We are going to remove their short links from our sites, they are completely unreliable and cannot be trusted.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Storing your Crypto in Exchanges is better than using Cold Wallets! on: September 13, 2020, 09:52:01 PM
When you seriously come to think about it - storing your Crypto in exchanges is better than using cold wallets.

The first main reason is that exchanges pay you an interest rate on your Crypto whilst cold wallets pay none.

Secondly, we definitely believe that more and more users would move into hot wallets than using cold wallets, Ledger.com could become the next "Netscape" and then if your hardware device gets faulty and you would need support from Ledger.com - then you might find yourself in trouble. It's not a wild guess, this could seriously become the reality in the next few years.

We've just posted an article about this so if you wish to read our full opinion you're welcome to read this here:

https://freebitcoin.io/articles/free-bitcoin-wallet-and-investment-advice

But as mentioned above we've tried to point out here in this thread in short version the very few reasons why using an exchange is better than using a cold wallet in the long term. For instance 8% APY on your USDT is something that is seriously worth more than just additional "security" which is not really a true security because you are relying on a centralized private company such as Ledger.com and people seem to forget that .... Netscape was also a great success in its early days but around 2003 it almost disappeared and today almost no one is using it.

We definitely believe cold wallets are going to be history whilst hot wallets or exchanges such as Binance.com or Crypto.com are going to be the future - the listings and value of BNB and Crypto.com are just enough to indicate to you how they are growing fast .... whilst Ripple doesn't move for years between $0.20 and $0.30 - BNB and Crypto.com have already achieved massive gains.

We don't want to keep this thread too long but feel free to refer to our article to read more and let us know whether you agree or not with this stipulation.

584  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Chinese Visitors on: September 09, 2020, 06:37:48 PM

Do you want people who speak Chinese? Or from China?
If you are looking for more views on this forum, you will not find many Chinese people. Few members of the local community are the ones who do, so the forum is not the place to get more traffic.

Check whether website hosting service is not banned in China, and then try to focus on archiving your site in Chinese search engines.
Redesign your site and change the colors, that is one of the fundamental reasons, I am learning the Chinese language, and the Chinese have a completely different taste in how the site is designed, display the writing, and other details.
remeber there are big differance between simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese example 危機 危机

Thanks for commenting.

We want people from China and also people who speak Chinese (e.g. from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc.)

Yes, we are fully aware of how important that is to have a website in Chinese and not in English, that's a very major milestone we're trying to cross now and hopefully our faucets would be soon translated officially to Chinese. Thanks for the tip about the layout as well.
585  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Chinese Visitors on: September 09, 2020, 05:23:34 AM
Yes, it's clear, but is there anyone providing such services in this forum perhaps?
586  Economy / Services / Looking for Chinese Visitors on: September 08, 2020, 05:29:14 PM
We have 13 faucet sites and we're looking to get as many Chinese visitors as possible.

What's the best way of doing it?

I agree with you, why would anyone research a vaccine for free? These are doctors who spend a long time studying in university. Also researching a vaccine doesn't guarantee you success. It's possible you spend months - in which you have to pay rent, salaries, equipment, etc. - just to be successful in the end. And just by looking at the flu vaccine each yeahr for elderly people and how many lives they are saving I don't get it how people be against vaccines. To be honest most people just want to be trolling, they don't even believe in what they are saying, all about being against mainstream.

There is no problem with paying a decent amount to find a "vaccine" but when US taxpayers have to fund over $1000m (1000 x $1,000,000) of "research funds" into the Johnson & Johnson company and no one is scrutinizing this thing, and J&J are not obligated to find a vaccine, they are not obligated to ensure even such a "vaccine" is safe to use, and they are not obligated to return the funds they got paid - well in that case why wouldn't you expect people to go against that "mainstream"?

And by the way, who exactly decided that what they do is the "mainstream"? You decided that's the "right" way to think?

We have started a new NEO Faucet.

About us?
We have several other faucets which some we've been running since 2017 such as FreeRipple.com, FreeEthereum.com, FreeBitcoin.io, FreeCardano.com, FreeNEM.com, FreeUSDCoin.com, Free-Tron.com, FreeDash.io and FreeTether.com

How does it work?
The site itself pays - a minimum of - $0.0003 in value of NEO every hour.
The site makes money only from ads, we do not ask anyone to deposit money in the site.

Do you really offer Instant Withdrawals? What's the minimum?
Yes, that's right, and currently the minimum is 0.05 NEO.

If you have any comments or any feedback please feel free to drop a line here.

If wearing a facemask and implementing lockdown are not the answers then what would it be?

I've answered this question above already:

593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 08:39:11 PM
Yes it will. The reason is because of defi projects. We can't do anything about that, for the meantime, the only thing we can do is to wait for everything to go back to normal and for the launch of eth v2. This will probably help to get everything back to normal especially the high fees that we are facing right now.

When will ETH v2 be launched?
594  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet on: September 02, 2020, 10:40:07 AM
The safest wallet would be a cold wallet but even that can get lost.

I'd say Binance is a good place and you can also get nice interest % paid on your balance if you just store it there without doing anything with it (unlike cold wallets that don't pay interest).
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 07:21:38 AM
anyway you can still send your eth with low fees

Hypothetically if we would use a Transaction Speed aka a fee of 25 Gwei - would the transaction go through eventually after several days or it could drop? i.e. should we just wait for fees to go down or we can use low fees now and the transaction would eventually go through?

(Enclosed a screenshot from MyEtherWallet showing the lowest suggested fee is 480 Gwei at the moment)

596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 06:30:49 AM
Coin Trader, do you have any estimate when the fees would go back to normal? How many days from now?
597  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Lies on: September 02, 2020, 06:26:05 AM

If lockdown and mask is not the answer then what is

Vitamin C
Vitamin D
Zinc
Magnesium

These 4 for a start.

Healthy activities such as sports, things that keep you in good mood (lockdown does the opposite).

In 4 words the answer is = Boosting Your Immune System.

We don't need a vaccine for that and there's no need to waste millions of tax payers payable to Johnson & Johnson:

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/06/22/health/us-coronavirus-vaccine-funding/index.html

This article is from June, saying J&J received over $460m of taxpayers' money to find a "vaccine" - well, if you check it now - the amount they received is over $1000m now!

What a waste!!!

We let these companies dictate our lives, why would they want this "pandemic" to stop if they can get millions in no time to find a "vaccine" they would have no guarantee for neither!!
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 06:13:02 AM
The fees to send ETH are minimum $5 in fees ... is it going to change back to "normal"?
Who dictates how much fees are charged?

If ETH is claimed to be decentralized where are those high fees coming from if not from a centralized party?!
599  Other / Politics & Society / Coronavirus Lies on: August 30, 2020, 08:54:58 AM
Yesterday there was a massive protest in Berlin, Germany against the draconian measures taken by the govt against the citizens.
In Lonodn yesterday a similar protest took place in Trafalgar Square.

There were already protests in the Netherlands, Ireland and other countries - all calling for the governments to stop the lockdown, stop issuing fines against those who don't want to wear a mask and most importantly - stop lying to the public with fabricated numbers about "new cases" etc.

This is not a pandemic, by all means.

Is the virus real? Yes, it's real - but panic is not the answer.

Lockdowns are not the answer.
Masks are not the answer.

What would it take for the world to change its stance against the Coronavirus?

It seems like it was so easy to brainwash so many people and make them believe as if we're dealing with apocalypse here -

Well, the apocalypse is how the governments are terrorizing people's lives.
