581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties on: March 13, 2019, 02:39:05 PM
Hi,

I was a bounty hunter just like many others here. Was hoping that i can earn my living by doing bounty hunting rather then kissing someone's azz 9 to 5. But it looks as if the cryptocurrency world is not ready for us or may be not willing to accept us anymore.
So after sticking to my beliefs that it will grow and good times will come, but the time has come that i have to look for alternates and here i am sitting in an office doing "YES Sir", "No Sir" and hoping that i can have a financial stability to avoid doing job anymore.

Seriously looking for suggestion to gain financial freedom and don't have to do a job anymore.

Congratulations, you took the boring route of being a wage slave for the rest of your life.   Some people just aren't willing to take the risk it takes to become wealthy.  That is fine because the choice is ultimately yours and no one can make it for you.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 95% OF YOU Will Fail Trading: Learn how to overcome this stat on: March 13, 2019, 02:27:54 PM
I don't believe the failure rate is that high but very few people will be able to earn a substantial amount from trading.  If you lack patience then trading is essentially just gambling at its core.  The only consistent winners are the exchanges because they always make money off fees whether in a bull or bear market.
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: The updated BitCoin price predictions for 2019 . LOL on: March 13, 2019, 02:08:47 PM
Its hard to take anyones advice seriously.  They always have some type of agenda they are trying to push and they usually just want to fatten their own pockets.  Of course people that work in the crypto industry are going to be calling a 30k+ bitcoin and those that work in the traditional banking system say that it is going to die.  Only trust yourself or honest advice of close friends.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Vs Lotto on: March 12, 2019, 05:55:38 PM
If you want something with much better odds than playing government run lotteries you can solo mine and try to get lucky on finding a bitcoin block yourself.  The expected odds are vastly superior to playing the lottery.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hard Cap on: March 12, 2019, 05:30:48 PM
72 million sounds like a lot but other projects have been able to raise billions of dollars.  I consider EOS to be a centralized piece of garbage but they were able to raise billions for their token which doesn't even serve a real need for crypto users.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 12, 2019, 05:25:48 PM
The value of the items you get from loot boxes diminishes over time

I'd argue its more complex then that, its subject to standard supply and demand.    A big factor is population growth for that particular game, sure csgo items can just be tokens but its base worth is to be used with the game.   So more players is more demand and big thing was it going free to play recently.
The other side is the supply which for csgo I know does go down after a while, the boxes have a peaking kind of circulation to them.   Obviously on first release its very new and nobody has one or its contents.   But also a few years later the boxes do not drop in game, you must buy them from market which can create surprising demand and so on

Digital items that have "rarity" but the whole thing is ridiculous because the game creator can instantly create infinite amounts.  Selling digital video game items is one of the best business models, costs nothing to create and you have tons of addicited customers.
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 12, 2019, 05:19:41 PM
Its not worth it to live with regets, we have all made mistakes and there is no point to dwell and them.  Take what you learned from the experience and make better decisions in the future.  No matter what you do it will never be 100% perfect.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your daily crypto fix from? on: March 12, 2019, 05:13:02 PM
I mainly get all my news from this forum.  I have gotten really turned off from Reddit because of the censorship and downvote system.  Anything that goes against the mods is deleted or downvoted into oblivion.  This forum is very open and is accepting of all viewpoints.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale Work? on: March 07, 2019, 02:15:59 PM
Even if martingale works for those with a very high bank roll and no maximum bets they would be better of fusing their capital to generate money in other ways.  Its simply not worth the time at that point.
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: March 07, 2019, 02:05:34 PM
I've been in trouble and now I have a lot of debt
Can I double my capital in two months because if I do not pay I will die or be imprisoned
Please help me I think I am a professional but I am nervous now I can not trade well  Huh

All you have to do is go long on Bitmex with leverage, its not that difficult to double your money in 2 months.  I've seen people make far more in a shorter amount of time.  Don't worry too much about your debt, we will all die in the end anyways so I wouldn't stress about it.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Ripple pay Coinbase to get XRP listed? on: March 07, 2019, 01:58:08 PM
Coinbase only cares about profit and if listing XRP is going to give them more revenue they will do it.  Its clear that Coinbase has no morals after they got caught selling user data.  The name of the game is money and businesses will do anything to obtain it.
592  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Bitcoin Exchange Launches in Nigeria, Africa: Guava Exchange on: March 07, 2019, 01:46:40 PM
How ironic would it be if this Nigerian Exchanged exit scammed and stole money from the other Nigerian scammers that are all over the internet.  Grin
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 07, 2019, 01:39:02 PM
I think all investors and crypto enthusiast are happy about the increasing capability of etheteum coi  this year so far. A good productivity showing now and i think a turning point to a comeback price of etheteum. I hope this year would increase until 300 dollars and is possible.

I feel 300 dollars is still a very low price to hit.  I expect at least $500 in then ext few months especially if bitcoin shoots up to $8k again.

This is the time to buy, you won't get another chance at these price levels if you wait too long.
594  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin and alts merchandising on: March 07, 2019, 01:35:47 PM
I'm starting to see a lot more crypto apparel for sale online.  The great thing about bitcoin is anyone can use the logo and not have to worry about copyright infringement because of the decentralized nature of crypto.  I own a few bitcoin shirts myself with the word hodl on them.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 08:03:06 PM
It's best not to discuss bitcoin with ANYONE. Even family. And that's not because I'm saying you can't trust them personally, but they might talk to their friends or coworkers about how their son or their nephew just made a fortune in bitcoin. It might get the wrong kind of people thinking.

And it's one of the issues that gives me pause for thought about a future world where everyone is "their own bank". Will we all need to live in fear of thugs breaking into our homes and demanding our hardware wallets and PIN codes?

This is terrible advice, what if you die all of a sudden.  Now your coins are forever lost as your family has no way to access them.

People store valuable items in their houses and the majority of people don't fall victim to home invasion.  There is no reason to live in fear because a few robberies make the news.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH on: March 06, 2019, 07:47:36 PM
I think it's shortsighted to label everything that isn't BTC as a shitcoin - it's just not true.
Bitcoin is great, but it's not a one-stop-shop to solve every problem in the world. ETH is a better choice for smart contracts, XRP is a better choice for fast payments, etc etc. I love Bitcoin, but it's not like there's no room for other coins offering different functionality A coin that is targeted towards one solution will likely perform it better than something that tries to solve everything at the same time.

I know , some of these bitcoin maximalists are going overboard and declaring everything that isn't bitcoin to be a scam.  They like to forget about those 1 million coins by satoshi that are essentially a premine.  There is room for multiple currencies to grow and the communities shouldn't be battling against each other.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: March 06, 2019, 07:39:15 PM
The people I see gamble in my everyday life are the ones stuck in poverty and are searching for a way to get out of their hopeless situation.  Its a tough world for some people and the only option they see is to gamble and hope to strike it big.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What masternodes do you run? Is it worth it? What are your experiences? Best MN? on: March 06, 2019, 07:30:58 PM
Grin Any Masternode project that has a pre-sale phase is not worth the time joining Cheesy its just a vaporware and most of the time the developer will just dump on the first day of exchange listing.

Grin Any Masternode project that give ROI in 3 days should be greatly avoided its just use to attract investors to buy the coin enriching only the project developer/owner

I wouldn't call any msaternode with a presale a waste.  Developers don't work for free and they need money to fund future development.  All the top coins had premines to help secure funds for their projects.
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: #Deletecoinbase - Agree or Disagree? on: March 06, 2019, 07:26:29 PM
Most people don't even care about privacy, they just want fast service that is easy to use.  I'm sure Coinbase will continue to do just fine with their business. The unhappy customers tend to be the ones that complain the loudest.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 06, 2019, 01:24:39 PM
Why isn't that is happening to people like Roger Ver and Vitalik? They aren't running around with a security team.  This guy was probably involved in some shadyt dealings and got what was coming to him.
Why such hype by a normal robbery?

Don't we hear this kind of robbery with fiat money too. People are murdering others for money. Bank robbery, hackers are hacking money from central banks.

If we compare this robbery with all those high profile crimes then do you think this is even a news? The yellow media whenever find something to blame Bitcoin, they just print it.

They want you to be scared.

You are completely right, much worse things are being done over cash and drugs.  The vidoes I've seen coming out of South America are gruesome.

This bitcoin theft is a drop in the bucket compared to what evil really goes on in the world.
