That's weird, what's HST?
Regardless, he is right, these are sockpuppets. If you can't see the registration date no wonder you didn't notice it, but just look at their profile IDs. (Also, the registration dates posted above for these accounts are correct.)

It's a PR article.
But my humble opinion: this article is misleading.
I totally agree that it's misleading and purposfully so. But that's PR for you.
I don't care about bullshit as long as they are not trying to feed it to me. Smiley
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: January 27, 2017, 10:03:22 AM
Guys, get a grip. It's a PR article for the greater world, not the immediate Lisk community. It's not like they made a big deal about it,(or even announce it) or tried to hide ownership. A germany company was probably needed for legal reasons, to funnel through salaries, etc.
The artice is just a PR spin on this simple fact, because why not, have to keep the brand alive, it's better to use such events for PR purposes than simply dropping a line in the weekly summary like -made german company to make management easier".

True... I will try to run your tool from winebottler on my Mac.
Let me know how it goes. I know it (autohotkey) won't run on Wine.
Full fledged virtual machine solutions like Vmware Fusion work fine, but that may be an overkill for a voting app if someone doesn't use VMs otherwise. Smiley
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: January 25, 2017, 08:46:57 PM
Vega great tool! Are you planning to release a web version?
Sadly, I'm not a developer, so I can't. The only language I know is AHK, because I personally needed it for everydays stuff countless times, so I got good at it.

Anything else is beyond me, but if anyone wants to make one, I'm happy to help if they need it.
Altought I'm not sure how such a tool would fair as a web service from a safetly perspective. As voting requires your passphrase (and your second one if you have set it), you would need to send it to that web service, it may even need to store it and thats just not safe.

This is a perfect opportunity to me to mention that yesterday I released a new version of my voting tool. (Windows only)

This is a complete rewrite, different UI, I think this makes handling multiple voting accounts much easier.
For feature list, changes and notes please visit the lisk forum thread.
You can get the tool from github.

Give it a try, if you vote from multiple account and/or vote frequently it can make life easier. If you have any feedback please post it in the thread on lisk forum.

The tool can even be used to find and vote pools more easily Smiley, see:

To make this short. Please anyone who believe these words, please go and read the chat log posts from carolina about our conversations and build your own picture
Thats about sums it up from me too. I don't indent to engage, or point out the countless factual errors and contradictory statements, as I don't really care (and as I'm apparently controling GDT, the lisk delegate system, and probably the known universe I don't have to care). Anyone interested can read the chat log.
But in reality we all know what will happen. More whining from pro-pool guys, nothing more. Everyone else have better things to do.

(ps: As an ironic sidenote, I voted for carolina to stay, even advocated for it. Its there in the chat log.)

MalReynolds

Sorry but your list is still not complete.
You should study the transparency reports.

It's maybe easier to just stop posting the stupid list.

A good and pretty objective article about pools in Lisk:
https://lisknation.com/are-pools-good-for-lisk-ab566a27c9e6#.6ri6s7eon
Shit article from delegates for delegates. All delegates go away! We need only pools in top 101.
If only there were a democratic process that would determine who is at what rank... oh, wait!

One thing is to check using LISK blockchain and another - to ask you. Second helps to understand fair you or not  Smiley
Ok, but i didn't understand what you want to do with forged LISK. Sell for yourself or spend in another way (PR campaign, financing of js developers or other).
Well, I have no intention of using it for PR, that's for sure. I do plan to fund projects with it, yes. I have funded other crypto releated projects before, and I'll do so again, including lisk projects. But projects that make sense, projects that are viable.
However I think we are still pretty far away from that being possible in Lisk, so I have time to sit on my forged lisk.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: January 23, 2017, 06:51:41 PM
Freedom of choice. Community loves pools and they will vote for them.
Hey, I'm all for it. As I said it before, if you can make 101 mostly pools I'd get more payout from them than I forge right now with a delegate, and all that without the tons of work it takes. I genuinely rooting for you here.

I have one question for you: Where you take this coins? I mean LISK tokens forged by you. You selling them or what? Or maybe you spend them for PR campaign? It's very important question, community want to know  Smiley
You do understand that Lisk is run on a blockchain, right?
It would take 2 minutes for anyone competent to see that I haven't sold a single forged lisk.
As a matter of fact I'm a strong advocate for keeping most forged lisk from going to the exchanges, and don't have plans to sell any for a very long while.

This is a ABSOLUTE Desaster! Angry The rich are getting richer and the normal LISK users have nothing.

SO GUYS:

VOTE ONLY FOR POOLS - or do you want that 101 guys earn and will get rich?!

We need at least 80% pools in the network or LISK will go down in the long run, you will see

You do understand how pools work, right? That's right they help the rich get richer. On the other hand most non-pool active delegates are not large holders right now, so the current status quo is while not the exact opposite it's much better in terms of wealth distribution than 80+ pools would be.

Hi, I bought ARK during the ICO and have downloaded the wallet and created an account, how can I send my ICO ARK to my wallet ?

Thanks !
You downloaded the testnet wallet and created a testnet account. Mainnet hasn't launched yet, before it does you will finds instructions how you can access your TEC address on the ARK TEC site.

Well I guess we are not the only one seeing how unethically the misuse of ICO funds is.

Just out of curiosity, what is your opinion of Lisk Ico Funds being used for ByteBall distribution?

Personally I think it is fine since it is Btc that has been donated to Lisk and therefore their Btc.
I think You didn't read that the byteballs were obtained FREE in the initial distribution, and you must not have been paying attention to it when they had the ico. All you had to do was link a BTC address, not spend BTC. Absolutely no ico funds were used there.
I think you didn't read that of what you were responsing to. Because you just agreed with Litcoincollector who you were replying to and disagreed with Bitbanksy.

The point LitcoinCollector was trying to make is that ICO (TEC) participants have no (or very limited) right to decided how the funds are used after, but BitBanksy doesn't think so.
Other tried to make the point repeatedly that ARK voting with the TEC lisk is somewhat similar to how Lisk used BTC to participate in ByteBall distribution as both was to the advantage of the project and it's teams while doing so was possible without spending the funds on these not directly project development events. But BitBanksy disagreed.

So you just delivered an explanation of how ByteBall distribution worked to make a point that didn't needed to be made, only to BitBanksy.

voted, but it would be good if you could do a webpage where we can see how much and when we got paid Wink
Is this some kind of joke? Roll Eyes
no? i mean something like this: http://robinhood.liberspirita.net/

I think what he means it's a freaking blockchain, why do you need a web page? Look at the transactions. Or use the blockchain explorer.

Congratulations, we will see official release soon? Is v2 working well right now?
The testnet itself is very stable, the features already there are working.
The main goal now is to implement and properly test everything that is on our small internal roadmap so we can pull off a smooth mainnet launch in a timely fashion. As you can see from this last release, (and from github) Fix is hard at work and making good progress. There are some features that must be implemented for main net launch, and ARK is getting closer.

People are talking about the long term when they just don't want to work very well now.
People started talking about long term after you talked about long term again and again. Not just long term but in terms of decaded and centuries even millenia.
At least when we talk about long term we speak of realistic timeframes, months, or quarters.
