Science started as a search for the presence of gods, and they are nowhere to be found, despite hundreds of years of diving deep into how the universe works. Most governments are just as incompetent as most people, so giving them god-like powers to manipulate everything is just plain dumb. (see above) (As an aside, the current ISIS/Daesh core beliefs were indeed spun up by the CIA back in the 1980's as a psywar technique to motivate the Mujahadeen, to bog the USSR down in their own version of Vietnam...and things snowballed from there into the situation we now face. But there is no way that the CIA/whoever directly control ISIS/Daesh) As usual with conspiracy theories....i'd love to see some evidence of any kind. |

Good spot on the Monero shill, USB-S. Nxt has never been forked, fyi, so I've got no idea wtf iCE is trying to say there. He's just got some hate on for Nxt, with no idea how it works/what it does, so.....meh. Or she's just trying to save Moneros ass....Nxt is about to introduce coin shuffling (algo reviewed and approved by Tim Ruffing, no less), and as Monero only has one feature advantage over BTC, its anonymity, this will make Monero even more pointless. |

Each unit is practically worthless but there´s a billion units so the whole is still worth something..
I guess the same idiots invest in shitcoins and penny stocks.
So, following that logic: if we converted the one billion Nxt into 1000 units @ $6,300 each, you'd be rushing to buy in ? And BTC is worthless, because satoshis.....  |

Cryptsy....bloody hell. It's a headache for everyone with funds on there right now. I've got a BTC of assorted crap on there that I'd like to get out, but I just don't have the time to piss around making a zillion withdrawals. Grr...  Anyway: back to NAUT. Maybe they could allow another week or 2 there, but the swap has to end sometime. |

Nope. Sorry. This redemption process has ended. The best advice I can give is to get your bud to get his 'old' NAUT on to his desktop client, and then sign up for the still open redemption on the Drachmae exchange: https://www.drachmae.exchange/which will (probably) stay open until the 18th Nov. Might be longer, but don't bet on it. |

Redemption period:
As originally announced 13th November 00:00 GMT was intended to be the the cut off point for redemption of the old
Nautilus Proof of Work currency, but considering the situation with Cryptsy withdrawals it has been decided to keep it open
for a few extra days, to allow people some extra time to get their Nautilus out.
Drachmae project:
For clarification: the Drachmae brand was created and set up by Lee Grant and Nick Grove for Coinstructors, but the
exchange was funded for Nautilus coin by Brian Kelly. The Drachmae exchange platform itself is not owned by
Coinstructors.
Drachmae itself ran a proof of concept (POC) user case that was deployed on Agistri to further understand how adoption
and user experience with crypto currency would work in the real world, this was also set-up and managed by Coinstructors.
Drachmae exchange:
At this moment, there are delays with getting the legal requirements for the Drachmae exchange organised, therefore
currency trading on the exchange has been disabled until further notice.
For the time being Drachmae exchange will continue to be used as a simple online storage/wallet for Nautilus for those
who wish to store and redeem their Nautilus coin there.
Next week will see the start of the swap on Drachmae exchange, transferring the old 'Nautilus-L' coin to the new Nxt-based 'Nautilus-X' currency.
This will be done automatically on the exchange from the 18th November onwards.

One thought, that should be checked with Drachmae....did you include the correct Bittrex message with your Naut-X transfer out of Drachmae ?
Ignore my above. I had assumed that the Drachmae exchange was already carrying out the swap, but this is not the case. (yet, see my following post) |

I touched on this point in my original post, but if you want to live in a reasonably nice society with roads and stuff: taxation is a necessary evil.
Very few have the resources to live as stateless outlaws, so most of us will use every day a lot of stuff that has been built using tax revenues.
Roads are one example: education, policing, sanitation......the list goes on. So, if you use this stuff: pay for it.

Yeah, I pay taxes on my crypto earnings. I was already working freelance when I got into crypto, so for me the step to declaring crypto income and paying taxes on it wasn't all that hard. (well, apart from actually paying the blasted taxman.....) The Dutch authorities are pretty keen on people paying taxes, for some strange reason, but they are pretty pragmatic about crypto: if you convert crypto to fiat, and that turns up on your bank account, they want a cut. Fair enough policy, I guess.....and I like living here, so giving up some cash to the NL government doesn't feel too painful. If I still lived in the UK, I'd be a lot less co-operative.  |
