1021  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: supernet SCAM, jl777: Stolen $2.000.000 / 2100 BTC already, ongoing, amount risi on: September 15, 2014, 02:35:07 PM
So many NxT people trust jl777, but ask your self why ?

They do trust jl777 and Nxt because that's what Nxt is all about - *draining money of poor investors for their own financial benefit*. That's the very core essence of the SuperNET and jl777 admitted this several times on his own. It is very shady for sure and the scale of this hoax is remarkable. jL777 undoubtedly is a very smart fellow, my respect for the intellectual part of it. But morally totally and entirely unacceptable by any possible measure.

What a load of bollocks.
The core essence of SuperNET is co-operation between different coins/systems in order to take advantage of the synergy that scaling up into a network will bring.
SuperNet will be able to access a dev team consisting of all the NXT, BBR, and BTCD devs, and a truly huge community.

If you guys just wanna sit on your arses and shout 'scam' at every concievable opportunity, could you at least come up with some real arguments ?
So far the only criticism I'm hearing is: "omg.....thats a lot of money, jl777 could steal it" and "those assets are complicated...omg it's a scam"
Lets see the jl777 quote where he "drains poor investors" for his own benefit.

All i'm hearing is conjecture, theres nothing here but FUD.......so, heres some more:

How would Moneroman88 like to reply to the allegation that he is fact a paid anti-Monero shill, attempting to make the Monero community look like FUD-crazed idiots while he is secretly being bankrolled by Ripple/Stellar/Illuminati/Bitcoin/TheVatican ?
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: jl777 asset scammer EXPOSED . . . buy XMR instead (real future) on: September 15, 2014, 01:07:18 PM
this thread does make Monero look bad. I certainly don't think he's speaking on behalf of the community, though.

Absolutely not, you tard. It debunks the jl777 asset scam and proposes an actual cryptocurrency that has a bright future and actual value. As I said two posts back, Monero is the best, with proven evidence - unlike the thousands of shitcoins that can be found in this forum's vast ocean of scams. If you don't have anything to add with proper reasoning please refrain from bumping the topic. This topic is all about the jl777 supernet scam that has been exposed by members of the Monero community.

Supernet is not a currency (disclosure: I am here to invest in currencies not companies), it's like 50 company coins / assets built into 1 who is gonna buy all that? , most likely everyone will fail, you cannot launch the same thing all over again with the same company behind it.

I wonder how Moneroman88 would be rolling if Monero had been included in SuperNET?
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read before investing in SuperNet ICO on: September 15, 2014, 12:58:02 PM
The basic point of SuperNet/UNITY is really a technical one, and that seems to be getting lost in the number crunching.
When this works, it won't matter how the assets are structured, SuperNET will create a linked system of crypto-currencies (NXT, BBR, BTCD+ others) and services (such as Coinomat, or BTER) that will be able to offer pretty much every imaginable function of crypto currency from within one unified interface.

It makes a lot more sense to integrate the coins with the best implementations of a particular feature into a network, than for one currency to re-invent the wheel for every feature. As Este Uno says above, SuperNET will offer the best of the current crypto scene, in one package.
This could, very possibly, be the 'killer app' for crypto, bringing crypto into the mainstream.

I'm not saying that I have total, 100% blind faith in this project, but I have a lot of faith in jl777 and the community that is forming around SuperNET, I think they have the ability to make this happen, and if it works, its going to be massive.

Even if it fails, it'll still break new ground for crypto in general, so it's definitely worth a try.

Just posted this in Alts:

Guys/girls/things:

Just had this in my PMs.....

Hi dear,  Very important news about NEM Open Alpha.
NOThttp://bilcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.msg7515541#msg7515541
the NOT is from me, do not use the above link!

As you can see, the link leads to Bilcointalk.org......very frigging dodgy.
The senders name resembles that of a real NEM member: p3tmaster.

So, can we mega-ban p3tnnaster, please?
And for the URL, just add NOT....u can still see the URL as an example, but its no longer clickable.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: so any topics i made last coupeld ays have vanished ? on: September 14, 2014, 01:15:45 PM
Looks like the bilcointalk.org scammer/hacker/PM phisher is back on the case:

Spoetnik pointed out a similair PM phishing/hack attempt a day or 2 ago, his thread seems to be deleted, but this is important.
I don't know whats hiding behind that URL, but I'm pretty sure its not going to make your day a good one.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SuperNet, are you in? on: September 13, 2014, 06:29:30 PM
...cut stuff.

Actually its funny, there is another asset on NXT AE called SIMGATE opened by a newbie account on NXt community called Nxtblg which was supposed to act as gateway for Simcoin (https://nxtforum.org/assets-board/(ann)-simcoin-gateway/) Funnily enough, 67% of the asset is held by jl777hodl.
Its even more telling the same account has issued two more assets - NFDGate and NFDGateway - both of which are dead markets.

and some more....

Actually, though you couldn't possibly know this, NFDGate/way assets have nothing to do with any jl777 action, but are part of an entirely different project.
So its not very telling at all.

I guess you have trouble reading? Lets do an Explain like I am Five for you - The issuer had an asset - SIMGATE 67% of which issuance was held by jl777hodl - now I have to wonder what kind of association that means? jl777hodl has 67% of the only asset issued by the account. I am having a hard time understanding the relationship between two....and the account tried to issue NFDGate which again was a "gateway" asset. again what is being implied...I surely can't tell. Oh the difficulty.
Ah yes, unless using maths:
jl777 = MGW, a gateway asset
jl777hodl=jl777

From above,
jl777=jl777hodl

NXT-PSY8-B4SS-JQ7G-AJD86 = NxtBlg = Simgate = Gateway asset
NxtBlg = NFDgate = another gateway asset
jl777hodl = 67% of the Simgate asset

From above,
jl777 = Nxtblg or something to do with Nxtblg

Thats certainly not telling at all.

You seem to be working under the assumption that simply because jl777hodl has purchased SimGate, that all of Nxtblg assets are associated with jl777, and that is simply not the case. You're trying very hard to find/see relationships that do not exist, which is why you don't understand them.

1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto currency devs are so sick and unlucky? on: September 13, 2014, 12:56:26 PM
Ours are all healthy as fuck, you just need to make sure that they get some exercise, eat some green stuff at least once a week, and force them to go OUTSIDE regularly.

1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Most Innovative Cryptocurrency/Technology? on: September 12, 2014, 06:26:19 AM
I would buy btsx but it's clearly a bubble. All this market manipulation doesn't help it's corse either

Some of the nxt supporters are really funny, you name your super slow 1 minute block time as "instant transactions", you are talking about "teleportation technology" in this "supernet" thing that an anonymous developer promised to deliver to you and you are more than happy to give him your money. At the same time you spread FUD about anything that is superior to your nxt and you feel it threatens you. You really look like all those monero spammers in the forum. In any case good luck with your "instant transactions", "teleportation technology", "supernet thing", "super duper wow something!!" thinking.

Just curious, are you one of the 73 initial nxt "investors"?

Dude! You're not helping the reputation of BTSX by obviously not being able to read the thread.
'Instant Transactions' is not yet implemented in NXT....it is not the same as NXTs native one minute block time.

Teleport tech is being developed for BTCD, which will be a core part of the SuperNET.
SuperNET looks like a good investment, you've never invested in a promising new crypto project, chryspano?

And, yup,  jl777 is somewhat anonymous.......but isn't that part of the core concept of crypto ?
To be able to be anonymous while still running a major project.....try that on Wall St.

Got any examples of NXT'ers spreading FUD ?
Let's see some evidence to back up your emotional claims.......
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 10, 2014, 11:36:51 PM
The Trustees do not have the power to decide on spending authorization. Their obligation is to keep the funds safe and to properly and timely respond to authorized spendings. The authorization is done by the Authorization Committee of 7 and requires majority to approve a spending.

In what part of this do you see any conflict?

I assume u enforce this by doing legal contracts with the real identities of the trustees right? I mean otherwise  they could easily peasily run off with the millions he she it takes care of right ? i mean investors wouldnt feel save if this wasnt legally bound

~CfA~
M of N multisig between trusted peoples is something I trust more than words on paper enforced with a potentially corrupt and definitely inefficient legal system.

contracts are broken and violated all the time. lawsuits are expensive and not even guaranteed to get the desired result.

if you do not feel safe with technology to secure the funds without a fiat world contract, then I suggest you to sell all your cryptos and put it into a fiat bank.

We are all trusting the coin devs with the value of the crypto. If you cannot trust the people that are creating the coins, then you should not own any crypto.

James

P.S. The NXT community seems to feel quite comfortable with me holding the 22 million NXT. I have total control of this account and the only thing stopping me from running away with it is my honor. Not sure if can understand this.

Not sure if I do, either.  Grin
My momma always said to me "Dave, whatever else you do, never give 10% of your entire crypto holdings to a random stranger you met on tha Interwebz"

But I do trust James. I've seen how he rolls, how he envisages way-out stuff that no-one understands at first but that work amazingly well, like his asset structures.
He's got a solid track record here, and more than that: he embodies the old-school Satoshi idea of crypto, the idea that we can create a technology that will completely free our financial lives from the need to have government and law involved. The blockchain shouldn't need to be enforced by legal contracts, but by the technology itself.

Just for disclosure: I'm on the nominees list for the Authorisation Committee, anyone else want to volunteer:
https://nxtforum.org/unity/unity-funding-authorization-committee/

Last bit: don't just think about the financial/trading aspects of SuperNET, but try thinking of the technological implications as well.
Once a SuperNET wallet is working, allowing access to and control of all coins within SuperNET, this, in combination with the NXT-based Asset Exchange and MultiGateWay will allow all of the coins within SuperNET to access the functions of all the other coins within SuperNET. Its not called UNITY for nothing......you then have a unifying crypto-system that can do pretty much anything. This is why every coin to be included in UNITY has to have one good, working, unique feature.

I know people have said this before, but this could be the biggest advance in crypto-currency since Bitcoin itself.
Co-operation is the future, it's the only way to take crypto mainstream and when that happens, we will all win. Everyone. You, me, James, the guys behind RobotSexNickels, everyone, even C-f-A........

NXT: launched in November 2013, still ruling the PoS side of cryptoworld.....and the NXT eco-system is expanding like crazy.

Edit:

@Atoni:

So its just completely coincidental that Ripple tripled the available XRP supply at exactly the same moment that BTSX took the #3 spot ?

Pull the other one, mate, it's got bells on. You would have thought that Ripple could maybe have considered how this might look to the rest of the world, but nah......however you look at it, it's fail on a massive scale.

And as for Guttenberg........I got into crypto to try and take my finances out of the hands of incompetent aristocrats/banksters/thieves, not to give them a load of cash for attending board meetings. Guy can't even plagiarise effectively, what makes you think he can run a business ?
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SuperNet, are you in? on: September 09, 2014, 02:40:30 PM
No, we don't get your supreme nosense Spoetnik, please gtfo or elaborate a minimum.

if you don't get it then your playing dumb i think..

i could start a coin and have an IPO on it and buy the coins myself and pay me the bitcoin to get the IPO'd coins
and then i could run around the internet saying some investers bought a lot of coins and wow look how popular my coin is !!111
but in reality .... I BOUGHT THEM !
and i paid myself as an illusion to sucker in greedy bag holders.. who will be consumed and devoured *eventually.

i am not trying to be mean or anything but are you slow or brain damaged or something ?
do you think i just invented that concept here and now ?

So, can I take it that you and JackpotCoin won't be joining in the SuperNET ?
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE Marketshare Artificial? on: September 08, 2014, 08:33:32 PM
After Ripple tripled their public coin supply to top out BTSX, I can't take them seriously any more.

I understand the Ripple boards explanation of the event, but the timing of the public XRP supply increase made Ripple look like a bunch of desperate scammers.
That's the kind of move I'd expect from Marinecoin, not from a crypto that wants to be a real contender for the long term.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - NXTChange.net - IPO on: September 08, 2014, 08:25:28 AM
Unless these guys can show some real support from some real NXT'ers: I'd say stay well away.

Newbie accounts making an IPO are a red flag these days..... Shocked
