1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best coins to trade on: September 08, 2014, 01:07:40 AM
Ah...the good old days.....
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some good coins to invest right now for Christmas vacation money? on: September 08, 2014, 01:05:24 AM
if you want stable investment go with BTC

Yup...and with the Winkelvoss ETF comng up soon (ish) BTC could rise like crazy. Maybe.

NXT is always a good bet ( Grin), and I'm pretty certain that SuperNET and its associated coins (BTCD/BBR + others...) will do very well.

I also have a vague gut feeling that NxTHorizon is about to go to the moon......and CMC agrees with me so far this week.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best coins to trade on: September 08, 2014, 12:58:20 AM
Just take a quick look at this lot:

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/

If youve only got $40 to invest, and you just want to gamble, ignore the top currencies and put it into something in the 100-250 range. If one of these coins rises like crazy, it could give you a real profit.
You also have a good chance that you will never see your $40 ever again......do lots of research.

If you're prepared to day-trade and sit in front of your PC all day......put it into one of the top 100 coins, sell out every time you see a 10-20% profit and re-invest.
With some luck and good choices, you could grow your $40 to a reasonable sum, but again...research.

Lastly: if you want to make money in crypto, like almost everything else, it's a lot easier if you can start out with a lot of money.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 07, 2014, 01:49:09 AM
Personal account...not SuperNET funds.

are you a fucking idiot?
That's the NXT account for TOKEN asset on nxt exchange

Yep, i am a fucking idiot, maggot...see my edit above.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 07, 2014, 01:39:37 AM
Personal account...mostly some not SuperNET funds.

(just taken a good look at the account, not seeing a real problem. It seems to be J's asset account, with a start balance before the SuperNET issue of 6 million NXT, with 12 million coming in today from SuperNet)
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 07, 2014, 01:25:40 AM
Apart from MGW (which is pretty damn nifty), most of James (completed) work has been on creating a complex system of interlinked funds based on NXT Asset Exchange:
NXTventure, sharkfund, jl777hodl, mgw (asset), and probably some more i've forgotten

and heres his stuff on BTCD and Teleport:
http://www.flipgorilla.com/p/23023990364728535/show#/23023990364728535/2

He's also got a shedload of projects in various stages of development, and I'm pretty confident (based on his performance with MGW) that he will complete them:
PrivateBET, InstantDex, Tradebots.....SuperNET!

He's a busy little sod, seems like too much work for a scammer, tbh.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: September 07, 2014, 01:09:39 AM
Alright, BBR dudes....just wanted to say 'Hi' and check out the whole BBR/Monero/SuperNET story.

I almost can't believe that some people manage to start fights over a project that should lead to UNITY, but I guess I need to lower my expectations of people.

Nice to see so many NXT'ers round here , btw, so a big 'hello' to y'all.

And yeah, I'm buying into BBR right now........

1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 07, 2014, 01:00:15 AM
My work as an analyst/statistician is not to please people but tell according to my understanding, what the possible scenarios are.

The superNET smells like a con, so there are the following possibilities:

A) It is a con.

B) It is not a con.

I did not even assess probabilities yet because I know so little about it. I am in talks with James over the issue, and I have not found any wrong in him. If you find wrong in me when I acknowledge the possibility that your project is a scam, well then..  Roll Eyes

Sounds fair enough to me......I'm in the SuperNet is not a con camp, but time will tell.
I like the idea of co-operation between cryptos, and now that NXTs AE and the multigateways are up, NXT can be used as a very powerful tool to bind various coin systems together, and to allow the unique features of each sytem to be utilised by all currencies in the system.
The synergistic system that SuperNET will create could be much greater than the sum of its parts, and may even be the way to push crypto down the road to mainstream adoption.......which is what we all want and need right now.

My decision to go into SuperNET is, ultimately, very much based on James track record so far. I've seen him create a lot of amazing stuff within NXT, his BTCD work looks very good, and I find it hard to believe that he is working a long scam......unless he is working the longest scam of all: being completely legitimate.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 07, 2014, 12:44:59 AM
I might need to pay more attention...but when did this thread get moved to the marketplace?
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 06, 2014, 11:30:29 PM
I know that most people here are pretty lazy when it comes to calculating prices. So here is a quick overview to show how elastic the NXT price really is!

Good job, Twin.

Can we get this on the front page?
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is this SuperNET everyone is talking about? on: September 06, 2014, 11:15:01 PM
my asset to the moon! Cool

Just stfu and send in the money to my accounts guys! I stay anonymous and eat some ben & jerries and drink starbucks lattes till the end of my days Cool

Love you all   Crypto forever!

^ Not James, in case anyone had any doubt.

Heres the official ICO thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.0

And heres my summary of what SuperNET is all about:

Co-operation between crypto-currencies !

The ICO is gonna (has already) pull in a shit load of NXT, BTC and BTCD in exchange for a tradeable token issued on the NXT Asset Exchange.
Most of the funds will be held in escrow and traded conservatively to act as a volatility buffer.
5% will go to NXT dev fund, 5% to BTCD dev, with the option to actually hire in extra devs for both.
Other coin systems can/will join in, and all of the participating coins will be listed on the NXT-based multi-gateway system, allowing trustless (and almost costless) trading between coins on the system.
This will further reduce volatility for currencies in the SuperNET, and will allow all coins in the system to use the features of other coins in SuperNET.

For example: if DOGE came in, and when BTCD completes its Teleport feature, you will be able to anonymise your DOGE by converting it into BTCD, Teleporting it using BTCD, then converting back to DOGE.
Result: anonymised DOGE!

There will be a SuperNet wallet (I think based on the BTCD wallet) that will allow control of all of your SuperNET funds from a single interface.
Knowing James, there are probably a shitload of extra features coming up.....but that is the basic plan as I understand it.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACT] Spoetnik likes to mine stuff.....no PoS for this boy! on: September 06, 2014, 05:41:37 PM
Damn...is that what it means?

I thought the asterisk stood for "Buy lots of NXT now"  Grin

Oh, well, better sell all me NXT and put it into some nice Litecoin. I'm sure that will end well.....
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 06, 2014, 03:46:31 PM
Oh god, this is bad. I cant seem to get any bids in on bter, how much I try. Sorry I am out.

You have 2 weeks left, mate.....no rush.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SUPERNET IPO FAILED investor Drama!!! BTER failed. Consequences??? :( on: September 06, 2014, 03:43:36 PM
Lol! Buy 3BTC of #superNET for 0.0100020, sold immediately for 0.02.. a good day's work!

Thanks James

Yeah, hope you're really, really proud of yourself.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.
True....but someone, somewhere has just lost 3 BTC because of a combination of their own stupidity and Tjugo's greed.
And he/she/they probably isn't quite as happy.

1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SUPERNET IPO FAILED investor Drama!!! BTER failed. Consequences??? :( on: September 06, 2014, 03:29:37 PM
wait 24 hours and we will see what happens with this. no need to stir the pot

Yup...the price was very clearly announced in a shit-load of places: 0.01 BTC or the equivalent in NXT or BTCD with a 5% bonus, increasing by 1% per day till the end.
Then people come along 3 minutes after the IPO starts and bid twice the actual price. Roll Eyes

I cant really see how this can be blamed on jl777. Do your due diligence and check the frigging price before you bid.
SuperNET will be available for the next 2 weeks, so it's not like you need to rush right in in the first 5 minutes.
(Unless you're planning on trying to rip off n00bs/idiots/the gullible by re-selling higher immediately)

So calm the f**k down, there is plenty of SuperNET for everyone, at the 'official' price.

And, by the way:
OK, this is the procedure if you paid more than the official price
make a calculation of how much extra TOKEN you would need to make it so you would end up having paid the official price
then open a ticket with bter and they will credit your acct
James' idiot rescue service in full effect. I'd just have laughed and shrugged my shoulders, tbh. He's a better man than me.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is NEM is not in Supernet???????? why do this to us :( :( on: September 06, 2014, 01:39:36 PM
This thread is completely frigging pointless.

NEM has not launched yet, in case anyone missed that little point, so it cannot be included in SuperNET at this moment.
Any other speculation is complete bollocks.

It's like whining about Ethereum not being included.

1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'jesus' NXT asset total circulation on: September 05, 2014, 11:59:51 PM
Yeah, we've been expecting him.... Cheesy

Of course, and this is a crazy idea, I know......it might be only one very big rat.
Wonder what C-f-A has to say about the rat issue?

Talking about SuperNET, btw:
