62  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A big problem in bitcoin ??? on: December 03, 2017, 02:29:51 PM
Bitcoin is decentralized.
no it is not. Asic farms has made that thought process wrong for quite some time.
The only coins that are truly decentralized are the ones that require GPU mining only; for the time being.
Give it time (profitability) and someone will be running a farm of thousands of those as well.

oh and on the subject of 21 million coin supply, that is wrong as well because people have lost their coins, satoshi's have never left his/her wallet so there will be less than 21 million always. Unless someone crafts code and forks bitcoin to regenerate those coins, it's impossible to have 21 million coins in the supply chain.
63  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: December 03, 2017, 01:33:30 PM
who is selling this for BTC directly that is legit? Bitmain could also convert the BTC as well...
Why should the the onus be on the buyer only? Because they can...
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: December 02, 2017, 02:28:21 PM
it has the potential. It will be way more decentralized than bitcoin is now or has ever been.

66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: December 01, 2017, 03:35:48 AM
they already have by pushing gov't to regulate/ban it.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 08, 2017, 11:30:34 PM
Because it doesn't cost $22 to send money to someone in the real world.
Unlike the bitcoin network. seriously WTF!!! 2 transactions recently and neither would confirm because I didn't send the "recommended" fee
instead I sent the minimum and not one node would pick it up and confirm them.
68  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: MSI VGA Graphic Cards RX 570 GAMING X 4G on: October 02, 2017, 12:29:03 AM
$270 shipped or pay 265-285 shipped new from newegg.   Huh
280 shipped from the egg and no worries/hassles if you need to RMA it.
69  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: September 16, 2017, 03:28:30 PM
they all are reporting an agenda.
If it doesn't pass the 5 W's it's propaganda or just plain bad reporting.

71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Syria has declared about the poisoning of hundreds of people on: April 15, 2017, 10:22:05 PM
Why is anyone believing anything from western media?
They are pushing an agenda and not delivering news.
72  Other / Off-topic / Re: Show your shitty laptops on: April 15, 2017, 01:51:30 PM

73  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [40+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: November 14, 2016, 08:41:10 PM
Why is this pool still not more popular!? Antpool has 300+ PH Sad
good question, I don't see anything wrong with this pool and slush has been around since pretty much the start if not the start.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: June 23, 2016, 06:31:48 PM

75  Economy / Economics / Re: CNBC: "Bitcoin is the new safe-haven asset" on: June 21, 2016, 05:37:58 PM
sounds like a crock of BS. It wasn't very long ago when it was 200~, this uptick may or may not be another cycle.
76  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [40+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: June 21, 2016, 05:35:16 PM
Slushpool is at between 70-80 Ph/s, yet no blocks are discovered.
On the 19-th there were 19 blocks found
On the 20-th 2 blocks
Today until now 1 block.
How is this working? Do  they have some problem or just ... luck?

gotta take the good with the bad.

78  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [14000Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB on: May 13, 2016, 12:19:14 PM
Modify the subject to show what the actual hashrate is on your pool.
It hasn't been 14000TH in 3 plus months. more like 5.
Quite deceptive. But you'll delete this too because it doesn't have anything to do with your pool or thread.
79  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your cigarettes? on: January 31, 2016, 08:12:25 PM
I love Camel.
same here but when the states introduced that stupid fire safe paper it changed the taste to me.
So now I roll my own with a blend I mix to get close to that camel taste.
I'm fairly happy with it but it could be slightly better/closer. Need to tweak it a little more someday.
