61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Litecoin PPS Pool - We pay for stale shares! on: July 21, 2012, 10:24:24 PM
If this is just synflooding there are some simple iptables rules which might help you. It will increase overall latency but at least you can get back to work.

Do you have some examples for this? I'd love to see them.

Getting 30 khash (--scrypt --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 6144 -g 2 -I 17) with latest version comparing to 190 kh/s with Reaper on 6770. Pool showing same 30 kh/s. Maybe drivers/sdk fault? Using 12.1/2.6.

Change -g 2 to -g 1.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 04:23:44 PM
with the new, i have set the -I to 16, and i get 210, with almost 0 stales, reaper could get 210 MAX, with 10% stales, this is soo goood!

Yup, increase in intensity certainly helped. Now at 338 at 16 and 340 at 17. At 18, kh/s jumps around a lot.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 21, 2012, 04:00:54 PM
worksize 256: ~180 kh/s
worksize 128: ~190 kh/s
worksize 64: ~192.5 kh/s

Yea, I changed my post. How many threads is that? Still the 6144?

yes, using 6144, cant find something that do better then that on my cards

How many stales are you getting with that though? Whenever I use 6144, I get about 10% stales.

i'm only getting a stale on LP, 0 else.. rbut i'm also using http://notroll.in, the share target is a bit higher Smiley

Higher than oz?

And ckolivas, usually the drop in intensity is more detrimental than change in threads. It's why I was curious.

yah thats weird if i set mine to 14 it gets tons of rejects what card and settings were you using??

i use 2*6770, but only testing on 1, i use
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://****:**** -u ** -p ** --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 6144 -I 14 -g 1

and O/C is set to 950/1300

ok, getting 10+ kh/s more with worksize 128 instead of 256

worksize 64 doesn't seem to increase speed under any combo, so thats a no go. Must.... tinker.... MOAWR.

edit: worksize 64 and 8192 threads seems to be the winner, hitting a high of 322.

It should also note that I'm basing my speeds off AVG after about 20 seconds. I'm just trying to get the settings into a close ballpark before I do long term stability.

I'll rebuild it give me a minute, I have to reinstall catalyst.

I can't wait to try with the higher intensities.

My results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApTGDgpPOXefdHpKRUtIeHJqd3M1MlNMd2hYblRBY1E

So far, for my setup on a 5870(850/1200) (win7,cat 12.4, app 2.6) works best with:
worksize 128   gap 2   thread 6144   i 14   -g 1   at 318kh/s

not all of us have 7000 series cards so plz test with 5000 and 6000 series cards also can this be released for us to test and can you make it for windows

were not all linux buffs
Hang on a sec while I pull all that hardware out of my arse....

Oh wait, I don't have any of those in there.

I can let you have root ssh access to whichever flavor of linux you choose to a box with either a 5770, 58xx, and/or 6950 if this helps your testing.

Edit: You can simply put your code in a RAM drive and change root password if you are worried about me seeing the code.

Need one to complete a rig.  New or used, I don't care.  Can pay now.

LittleShop, do you have any?

Thanks.

I have one and fan. What's your offer?

Another cool idea thats killed by BFLs announcement I fear.

That.

...bfl...

Last time I read anything about the BFL asics, they where still FUD. I don't have hours to peruse the forums, if someone has a link that they are actually being released, I'd love to know.
73  Economy / Computer hardware / BFL Single Waterblocks -- Gauging interest on: June 20, 2012, 05:06:37 PM
I'm looking at making some of these. It seems there are a fair amount of people who mention they run warm or whatnot. This would solve that issue.  If my math is right, I could do these for about $50 each, however I'd need to sell 100 off the bat to make it worthwhile.

If enough people are interested, I'll go forward. If not, I'll scrap the idea.

77  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Intel Atom 330 Dual Core Twin-1U Rackmount Servers on: June 16, 2012, 11:55:34 AM
I want a full 1U x19" set of these (is that considered 1 or 2 units ?) but shipping from Florida to Western Canada can be a nightmare at times.

Well bitlane... you could be in luck. I recently discovered one of my contacts lives in Headingly, Manitoba. I don't need to pay duties. We literally send him stuff every other day. I'd just slip the box in, tell him about it, and have him ship it to you.
78  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: 1x--->1x PCI-e extension cables on: June 16, 2012, 07:47:16 AM
Shoot me a price via PM. I don't know what shipping will cost you, so I don't want to quote a price that leaves no meat on the bone for you. I also haven't bought extenders for a few months, so I have no idea what they are worth.

I've never sold any. 3.2 btc for the 3 shipped if you live in the Con US.
79  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Intel Atom 330 Dual Core Twin-1U Rackmount Servers on: June 16, 2012, 03:02:42 AM
I've paid him in full for the 4 he has left. However I still only need 2 if someone else gets him a payment before Monday.
