602  Other / Meta / Re: [Feature suggestion] A list of which users that posted in a certain thread on: March 26, 2019, 02:56:25 PM
Whether the forum will benefit from any such list of members?

Yes. If you take the common user from 5-6 threads then you will immediately find  the trollers with minimum effort.
603  Other / Meta / Re: Personal Full Trust Depth viewer for all users on: March 26, 2019, 02:31:16 PM
Do you think Distrust depth will be working on the same way as trust depth?
Because I see couple of DT1 in your distrust depth 1 and I do not think their feedback will be displayed as untrusted feedback to you.

Edit: I am confused, Fuzzstone is DT1 but still his feedback are untrusted? It is due to my custom trust list?
604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would anyone be interested in running a training blockchain node? on: March 25, 2019, 03:11:05 PM
now i am a little bit confused about what you are trying to do. some things you say sounds like you just want to fork bitcoin and change some variable which doesn't seem to be teaching anybody anything but some other things you say sound like you want to actually build a blockchain from scratch which would teach you and others lots of things but it will be extremely hard because it requires lots of programming.

C++ is hard language to learn but I heard Python is relatively simpler to learn. Do you think it is better to learn from some coin that have blockchain written in Python or create a blockchain in Python.

606  Other / Meta / Re: banned and I canīt post anymore (Candidate for Ban appeal) on: March 25, 2019, 01:22:01 PM

Yes, I did not say that he was banned based on the Negative Lauda tag, there he mentioned this.

Lauda DeepOnion is a copy/paste project with a massive amount of shills.

From this article one conclusion can be drawn that @deeperx is prohibited based on copy / paste.
Not because of the red tag.

Edit: before @deeperx was banned @Lauda already said that @deeperx copy / paste. This is my point.

You are confusing everybody here. Lauda tag is for the project developers who were hiding the information that they copy pasted their coin code. (It has nothing to do with forum , how the developers are creating their coins. Nor do forum ban user because they created  the coin/token)

Deeperx is banned in this forum for breaking the forum rules (whatever it is) . Deeperx is not at  all banned for creating a coin.

I do not understand how "Deep Onion" has find its place in this ban appeal.

It is no surprise that bitcoin.com has more traffic than bitcointalk.org but what actually surprises me that bitcoin.org is no where in picture.
Something need to be done for the SEO of bitcoin.org
608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are PoS and PoW mining? Introduction to the Masternodes. on: March 25, 2019, 08:23:32 AM

The basic wording is “The rich get richer" even more. Who has more coins, earns more. Did those who have enormous computing power work as loaders in the market? Of course, the richer a person is, the greater is his ability to succeed compared to the less rich. So this criticism is also valid for PoW mining.

This is not valid for POW because in POW it will work as probability and probability of having full reward is less but not 0 or you can say each miner has equal chances in solving the problem.
To me, POS look like some kind of close system . Those who got the initial coin if spread their coin to specific users or individual only so than anybody esle will not get that coin for staking.

Practically, In my early days I tried to chase POS coin and nobody told me correctly , that exactly haw many coin I can receive for staking Y amount of coins.

610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mass Adoption Solution: combining education, gamification and rewards on: March 25, 2019, 05:33:47 AM
I guess these rewards are very limited and some of them are just one time offer. Few of the option you are discussing here requires time and effort (so it is not at all free money). Yup they can be a initial step for introducing to anybody to crypto.
611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transactions ordering and confirmation problem on: March 25, 2019, 05:23:36 AM
The situation I present isn't to be taken so literally, e.g. a $20 purchase a retail store because I can easily make the stakes higher - $2-5,000 at a furniture store, used car lot, etc. which people will try!

More you increase the stakes ,More the confirmation retailer will like to have before handing you the goods. 1 confirmation is good for $2 or $3 things. But for high priced item then retailer will like to wait for  at least 6 to 7 confirmations before handing you the goods.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reward XP - Play/Earn/Shop/Community (bitcoin rewards) on: March 25, 2019, 05:18:08 AM
Are you related to the XP coin.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/experience-points/

I see you are using the same ticker "XP" in your OP but I do not see any info for this rewards program in XP coin site.
613  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Made a little fun game with cryptocurrencies - Crypto Catch on: March 25, 2019, 05:11:16 AM
Can you add a little demo video on "How to play" . Despite all the users saying they are able to play this game but I am unable to understand it. A little demo might help e to understand what I was doing wrong.
PS: I did not created login.
614  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Decentralised platform for Translators! on: March 25, 2019, 04:50:40 AM
I generally do not find any problem in google translate  but I guess it has few problems.
1. Sometime it translates words into word that mean the same but nobody uses them in the daily conversations.
2. Sometime it translates the word to its  literal meaning when it is not required.

Some human input can really improve the Google translation but why somebody should do double effort.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be limited to 21 million? on: March 25, 2019, 04:38:06 AM

I really hope Nakamoto comes back and adds a way for time mining via addresses on a side chain

It is open source code and we do not require Nakamoto to do the changes. All we require the consensus in the community.
I guess we are discussing about future and we have more than 2 decades to solve this problem.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver owning Bitcoin.com on: March 25, 2019, 04:20:25 AM
I guess it is matter of years when Roger Ver will dedicate (may be sell) bitcoin.com for bitcoin. When his shitcoin will finally collapse then he will have nothing to advertise there. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
We can focus on educating or increasing awareness till then.
617  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cold Doctrine? on: March 25, 2019, 04:07:00 AM

Thanks, your explanation was just explicit and concise yet very comprehensive. Thanks for sharing this amazing knowledge. Looking at it carefully, this  is not a good doctrine to be encouraged.

Why it is not a good doctrine?
Your forces require 3 weeks to mobilize, Do you think it is acceptable?
Anyway India do not use (or rarely used) force for maintaining law and order, so why it is required to be stationed on the center of country?
618  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why We Need Women In Blockchain on: March 25, 2019, 03:37:02 AM
Gender equality is found everywhere, with blockchain technology women hasn't shown much interest on it. As a result right now there is very small number of markets contributed by women investors. I believe soon large number of women will get into cryptocurrency and when they gets much interested surely she'll overcome men competing in the same market.

Then socialist will start with new question "why there are no men in blockchain".
I do not understand why you need them in blockchain? Giving them equal opportunity is all we need .
They can decide what they need to do.
619  Other / Meta / Re: Reflinks in self moderated, well described topic. on: March 25, 2019, 03:22:48 AM

--snip--

I guess you should remove word reflink and instead add word airdrop link.

Code:
Airdrop link:
Note: Duplicate Airdrops and reflink post will be deleted without warning.

I fear mod can trash the topic because altcoin giveaway threads are also not appreciated.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto legend creates 'The Next Bitcoin' on: March 24, 2019, 05:15:08 PM

So are they saying Bitcoin Core is not safe anymore and the we could be losing our Bitcoins at this moment? It is like they are actually making war with Bitcoin development and saying they are incompetent fools who might be hijack any time soon. I am scared now.

You have no idea to whom you are referring as incompetent fool. His research/vision for crypto currency is started long before the satoshi started his work.

That sound interesting. We are going to see a new change in the cryptocurrency. They can say that their project will be the best in the future, but we don't know yet. It's better to follow their project so we know if they are capable of giving proof to us and we could take part in their projects. But so far, bitcoin still be the best coin ever we knew, and we need to wait for their update.

I guess that project is worth following though I do not think it can have the same following or success like bitcoin.
