Well. OP, Mr. 1993jochico. It seems like you're great in investigations and with these detective stuffs. I admire your spirit. You came up to reveal something related to Mr. SM23031997.

Snip

Snip

Well that craige's word is kinda bias towards the question, it can be that he/she is agreeing to the fact that he/she used the list of the other member to get meritted, or he/she is admitting that he/she is the same person as SM23031997. It is kinda hard to know the true meaning of his/her words in that post, and that is why it is better to gather a valid and enough evidence before we make an accusation into other person.
Yuph, you were right Sir. That's why I also said to my reply that "That's why this is not enough to prove that you're a Merit abuser." because it doesn't mean that Mr. SM23031997 is a Merit abuser just because he sent Merits to Craige288. And it is obviously that what Craige288 said is a lie. Because if it is really is Mr. SM23031997, he will not admit it, even you or me. If I'm in that kind of situation, I'm not going to admit it as well.
Also, there's no doubt that Craige288 post doesn't deserved Merits. I checked Craige288's thread and it is really a good post. Giving an amount of Merit is up to the sender that's why it is just fine to send Merit as many as you want.

I dont think he should judge me with these words. Before writing these words, at least he should do some researches. People like who like them, so they could give merits to anyone they like. Also, I dont think he could make thing better with this kind of actions.
Agreed.
622  Other / Meta / Re: Want to get some opinion about this. [Maybe a Proposal to Eliminate Farmers] on: March 29, 2018, 04:26:48 PM
I'm out of Merit now, stop talking about that shit now.
Hope you won't come up with a new accusation that hilariousandco is my another alt.  Cheesy
Gotcha, you sent 30 Merits to Mr. Hilariousandco. Its your alt account isn't? Come on admit it.

Just kidding  Grin
623  Other / Meta / Re: Some attention to this... on: March 29, 2018, 04:19:28 PM
So this is the revelation of Mr. Wesimon's true motivate isn't? Well, keep up the good work Mr. 1993jochico. Looks like you're really contributing well in our Forum. I'm sure that you will be rewarded for your hard working eliminating these Merit abusers.
I will try to do the same thing you were doing later on (I'm a really busy Man) . There are bunch of people who really abused Merits and you can't eliminate them alone.
Well, keep it up.
624  Other / Meta / Re: How to get Merit points on: March 29, 2018, 03:46:20 PM
Seriously? You are already a Full Member and you should've already knew how Merits System works Smiley You can get Merits from other members of the forum. It is given to a deserving post. That is how you can to get Merits.
And also, posting a thread about Merit is now prohibited because it has been posted/created so many times. A topic like this has been already posted a lot of time here in the Forum and posting more threads repeatedly will be considered as a spam. Please be aware of that.
If you really want to seek for answers to your questions. I recommend you to use the search function of the thread. I'm sure that you will find something helpful.

And about this
P.S. Are there really good guys that are giving away merit points when they see that the posts are on point and well constructed?
Yes, there are some threads in Archival and Economy>>Services that gives away Merits for constructive posts. If you are confident and you think that your post deserves Merit, then go and try your luck.
625  Other / Meta / Re: Want to get some opinion about this. [Maybe a Proposal to Eliminate Farmers] on: March 29, 2018, 03:30:24 PM
Well. OP, Mr. 1993jochico. It seems like you're great in investigations and with these detective stuffs. I admire your spirit. You came up to reveal something related to Mr. SM23031997.

To Mr. SM2301997, I really agreed to the OP. Its a little bit fishy. I also suspect you when I checked your Merit history and found out that you sent a total of 40 Merits to Craige288 and consolidated by these post by Craige288

It looks like you just used my post and got from your main account SM23031997 merits for "quality post".

Sherlock! you caught me.
With this statement by Craige288, this may somehow prove that you are the user of this account. But, as a wise man and a Hero member. I'm sure that if you are Craige288, you will not admit that you were SM23031997 in the first place.
That's why this is not enough to prove that you're a Merit abuser. And I will not judge you.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: March 29, 2018, 12:24:40 PM
Well, if you're tired of waiting then accept the fact that your invested money will result to loss. But as long as you can keep calm and wait. There are still some chance that you will earn and even doubled your invested money. What do you really prefer? Just a suggestion, just keep your guts up and everything will be fine soon. Sometimes it is worth to wait than to lose a certain thing you we're waiting for.
Actually this is a good time to buy or invest. Using the opportunity while bitcoin is down is a good strategy to get income soon. But, I'm not forcing you. Its up to you.
627  Other / Meta / Re: What's with Red/Negative Trust on: March 29, 2018, 11:39:13 AM
Mr. Bardman was right. Negative Trust can't affect your posting,  But it will highly affect how people acknowledge you. Having a Negative Trust means that you are a untrusted member and it will change how other member look upon you. That's why you should keep your account away from having this Red Trust. Negative Trust are given when you've done something illegal or you violated a strictly prohibited rule of the Forum. I want to provide some of the reasons why a certain member is given a Negative Trust but I already posted it in a thread with a negative trust topic too.
Just try to visit this link and look for yourself. I hope it helps you.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2358032.msg33412236#msg33412236

Understood! Thanks!

Lock the thread before people start to flood it with the same replies that has already made your concept clear about the thing you have asked.
Yeah, it's better to.
628  Other / Meta / Re: Want to get some opinion about this. [Maybe a Proposal to Eliminate Farmers] on: March 29, 2018, 07:19:15 AM
Are you talking about that "Dingdong7" account? Because yeah looks like you were right, it seems like he transferred most of his Merits to that account.
Well, if your suspicions were true. It means he just fooled me and other member of this Forum Embarrassed
What a shame Sad.

But yeah, let assume that Mr. Wesimon really is a Merit abuser . But, don't you believe that there are still some Members with Negative Trust who who contribues well in this Forum? We can't asaure if those tagged accounts really are abusing Merits. Maybe there are still some of them who didn't abuse it.

629  Other / Meta / Re: Want to get some opinion about this. [Maybe a Proposal to Eliminate Farmers] on: March 29, 2018, 06:58:37 AM
Well, First of all, that's really good idea of yours. But I think
Disadvantage: The only disadvantage of this that I see is that those accounts with negative trust and still active because they are promoting their service and others cannot send merits anymore, but its okay because there are only few of them.
Is not the only disadvantage of your idea. Because not all account with Negative Trust are abusing Merit/Merit System. For example is this Guy Mr. Wesimon
Profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=882355
As you can see, Yeah he's account is tagged with Negative Trust. But I can prove that he's not abusing his Merit. You can check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3175633.msg32872726#msg32872726 made by Mr. Wesimon. This thread is a "Free merit for quality posts". It only proves that he's not trading or abusing his Merit and I'm sure that he is not the only Member with Negative Trust who uses Merits for good.

What do you think?
Not because some Members here have Negative Trust doesn't mean we're gonna trash them. Some Members with Negative Trust already regretted their mistakes in the past and now moving on to a new world of peace. Lol
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: March 29, 2018, 04:55:28 AM

i think Bitcoin is only profitable if done at large scales. you must get expensive mining equipment and of course it consumes a lot of electricity monthly. Also it’s usually much more cost effective to buy Bitcoins with this money instead of using it to buy mining equipment.

Yeah, mining really will cost you a lot of money. Just think about it, a mining Hardware plus Electricity. Investing or buying Bitcoin and holding it for a long term is my best choice. The only cost needed in investing or buying bitcoin is a enough money for capital.
Then after buying, just hold it for a couple of months. Just wait for your desired price and sell you bitcoin will result a profit. Whetherever bitcoin price goes down, just keep yourself calm. It will surely go back up soon. I'm saying this because it is the only risk you can encounter when holding your coins.
631  Economy / Reputation / Re: I want RED TRUST, please give me! on: March 29, 2018, 04:29:00 AM
RED/NEGATIVE Trust are not given just for fun. Why do you want Negative Trust anyway? Are you out of your mind Mr.? Some people here are regretting that they are being tagged with Negative Trust but you, just came out of nowhere and asking for a Negative trust. Come on bro, what makes you think about that? Dont fool around. We all know that Trust System is not for fun. So knock out of it.

Edit.
Oops. It seems like you already have a lot of Negative Trust. What's the reason for asking for more?

I want catch spammers, scammers and reseller on merits!
Well, if that's the case, I understand your intentions Mr.  But what you were doing here in Meta section is already spamming. You want to catch and eliminate spammer people but spamming is what you were doing in the first place. Maybe you can catch spammers and scammers in different way than this. Because although your doing good stuff for this Forum, Moderators and other Members will still mad at you by making this spam posts.

633  Other / Meta / Re: negative trust: why do people get it on bitcointalk.org on: March 29, 2018, 02:59:23 AM
I would like to know the reason why people have negative trust on their profile.
It is because they might done some illegal or prohibited stuffs here in the Forum.
Here are some of my opinions why a certain Member is given a Negative Trust .

1. Scammed people once or so many times (If ever that someone has been reported and proved that he/she Scammed people here in the Forum, he will be automatically tagged with Negative Trust by our Moderators/DT Members.)
2. Spamming (As we can see, Spamming here in the Forum is strictly prohibited, if someone has been reported that he/she is spamming, the account will be automatically banned or will be given a first Warning. But if the account user keep posting spams he will be tagged with Negative Trust.)
3. Selling/Buying account ( Buying and Selling account is also violating our Forum's rules. With just offering that you want to buy account or sell account can cause your account to being tagged with Negative Trust. See for example here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3195218.msg33124738#msg33124738 The OP is looking for someone who want to sell a Sr. Account and unfortunately a Jr. Member responded thats why both of them are given Negative Trust).
4. Destroying DT Member's image ( I believed that some members here used to destroy Moderators and other DT1's image that why they're being tagged with Negative Trust.)
5. For violating rules multiple times (This is obviously the first reason why some members are given Negative Trust. It is because they always violate rules over and over again.)

Well, I know I didn't listed all reasons. But I hope it helps you out. But I also believed that not because a member is tagged with Negative Trust doesn't mean that we will underestimate them, we should still respect them.
634  Other / Meta / Re: Conflict of Interest on DT1 on: March 29, 2018, 02:34:19 AM
If this guy is Quickseller (Quickscammer). It seems like he's not giving up to drag down DT1 members since 2016 isn't? It seems like he really got some personal principles.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocruncy on: March 29, 2018, 01:31:03 AM
Personally, I still chose ETH over BTC and the others because I still have my grasp to it that within this year or next few years, it will beat BTCs current market value. I also believe in speculation that ETH's total supply is still unknown which make it potentially the next king of Cryptos plus, Coins.ph app already has ETH wallet which enables us, Filipinos to conveniently convert our tokens to fiat.
You got some point. Ethereum is really catching up to Bitcoin and it is more stable than Bitcoin that's why there  is really a possibility that Ethereum surpass Bitcoin someday but, nah, it's still impossible. Bitcoin will still lead other cryptocurrencies in the future for sure. But, leading other cryptocurrencies doesn't mean that other crypto are useless. They all have their own uses and purposes that is why there are different kind of Cryptocurrencies. Some coins have advantages to Bitcoin like Ethereum's more stable price.
What is a Cryptocruncy  Huh Roll Eyes

The Urban dictionary says Cruncy is, a song of great magnitude, that is pleasuring to the ears. Evokes the action of partying at first sound. So I reckon a Cryptocruncy is a song about Crypto currency that is pleasuring to the ears?  Roll Eyes

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

We cannot go around making up our own names for the technology that has been defined, it will confuse people.
It funny to see this one here, but I also agreed to Mr. Kakmakr. Sometimes we need to make sure that our spellings are spelled correctly because it gives different meaning /definitions to readers and may cause to misunderstanding. But, as long as it is understandable, it should be fine. We only need to use our common sense BUT, if a philosopher teacher sees this, that teacher will definitely mark this as FAILED grade in a class card.  Grin
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any blockchain movie yet? on: March 29, 2018, 01:05:05 AM
There are already documentary films about bitcoin already. If you have watch them then you are familiar with the following titles on my list; as follows:

1. Banking on Bitcoin (2016)
2.The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin (2016)
3.Bitcoin Heist (2016)
4.Deep Web (2015)
5. Bitcoin: The end of money as we know it
6. Etc..Others.....

I will only list 6 but there are others out there. Also there was one movie that also features bitcoin and during its premiere they are accepting bitcoins in exchange for the tickets. I have forgotten the title but it was discussed here in this forum last 2016.

Here is the list that i found:

The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin (2014)
Deep Web (2015)
Banking on Bitcoin (2016)
Satoshi Nakamoto: True Story of Bitcoin (2019)

They were only documentary and not really a real movie, it's just like you are watching a national geographic channel but in a different channel. I don't what would be the outcome of your movie using with such titles, but it does sounds like another documentary videos again.
In addition,

BitCoin (2018)

Life on Bitcoin (2014)

Yeah, some of the movies about bitcoin are documentary.  I just found out that BitCoin Movie in internet, it says that it is a 2018 movie and have a genre of Comedy.

I really like watching true to life story movies, like I'm Satoshi . Remeber Edward Snowden Movie? Do you guys watched it already? It is such a Good movie and it is a true story. It is this guys "Snowden" who revealed out NASA's Secrets  Grin
637  Other / Meta / Re: Does Bounty Hunters Eligible To Earn Merit? on: March 27, 2018, 04:13:14 AM
Yes, if they contribute to the forum.
Oh Really? Actually I'm participating bounties in the past before Merit System was Implemented and then I stopped for a month. When Merit System was implemented, some people say that those members who participate most in bounties don't deserve Merits,  As their posts are all bounties, now it enlightened me. It means it is still possible for me to join bounties and still possible to receive Merits as long as I contribute in the forum isn't? I fear joining bounties since when I heard that I won't be able to earn Merits because of bounties, but because of your words Mr. Darkstar. It really enlightened me Smiley
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN will be dead? on: March 26, 2018, 09:31:31 AM
There is no such thing that "Bitcoin will Die". This humors only spread out in public because of two kind of peoples. First one are those Panicking peoples.
When someone panicked when bitcoin's price starts to drop from a high downfall. They start saying that Bitcoin will also start to lose its price and this is what they call "Bitcoin Will Die". Because of Panicking, they have no idea in mind to what to do to their Bitcoin, all they know is bitcoin will die soon that's why they sell their Bitcoins immediately without even thinking for net income because its a net loss for sure.
The second kind of peoples are Bitcoin Hater
Sometimes because of these kind of people. Fake humors about bitcoin is spreading. They are making fake news and spread it to public. These people are people who are against Bitcoin. Some of them (I guess) are from Governments, Banks and etc and are against Bitcoin System. They can easily produce false news through internet and social media accounts and WE FOOLS are getting carried away by such false humors.

But, the one and only truth is, Bitcoin will not die. Some country might ban it but bitcoin will remains the same, and it will still exist in the future as long as there are people supporting it.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum could be the next Bitcoin by its price? on: March 26, 2018, 09:14:43 AM
Let's accept the fact that Ethereum is next to Bitcoin and some people assume that Ethereum will surpass Bitcoin one day. In my opinion, I think Ethereum cannot replace/Surpass Bitcoin's position. Yeah, Ethereum's price is more stable than Bitcoin and it is the only thing that Eth got Over Btc. When it comes to price, as we can see. Even though Bitcoin dropped to its lowest price, Ethereum still can't catch up to Bitcoin.
Ethereum can only surpass Bitcoin if Bitcoin ever lose its price which is very impossible for now.
But, besides that, they both have their own advantages and disadvantages that's why some people prefer to use Ethereum than Bitcoin and some people prefer Bitcoin over Ethereum. It depends on its use.
640  Other / Meta / Re: Improvement tip on: March 26, 2018, 12:51:28 AM
This is a good idea though, in your statement. You said that the option will be available for Legendary members and Moderators only, we'll this is its disadvantage. Because legendary and Moderators can't check all the threads and posts made in this Forum everyday. There are thousands of posts that is being created everyday and it is gonna be difficult for them to monitor each one of them to look for spam posts. Also, not all legendary are trusted. Their rank can't prove that they are worth of some stuff like this, as we can see there are Legendary with Negative Trust too.
Well, giving this option to lower ranks member will be a problem too. Because some members may use it for bad habits like tripping their friends or whatsoever. Maybe choosing trusted Members will fix the problem. But there are not too many trusted Members here in the Forum and it is a problem too.
